FTC Disclaimer: I've purchased everything featured in this video myself.

Hey guys lately, I've noticed my hair looking tired, there's not as much bounce. It doesn't spring back as fast. It'S all matted annoying look at it. It'S a hot mess, so I'm going to do a rinse using apple cider, vinegar, to restore my curls, the shine and clean my scalp, and also deep conditioning using eggs, honey and mayo. Obviously, you need episode of vinegar, some water Mayo, some honey, a bowl and dos huevos, two eggs. First I'll prepare my rinse by adding the ACV to about three times as much water. Now prepare your deep conditioner crack the two eggs in the bowl and mix. Well, I added about six scoops of man to the egg and mix it all up like this now add some honey to your mixture for a little extra moisture and shine now, you're ready after rinsing your shampoo out coat your entire head with the apple cider, vinegar Mixture and leave on, as you finish, washing your body, then rinse it out. Look. I can part my hair. I just finished my rinse and my curls are more defined not as fuzzy and tight and noticeably shiny and moisturized. Now, let's deep conditioned I'm going to add the egg Mayo and honey conditioner in my hair, the same way at every other conditioner first I'll quote my entire head and then part in conditioning sections. You don't really want to do this in the shower cuz. It'S going to get a little messy, but for the sake of the video I'll risk it make sure you get in between each section and really saturate your hair with that. So this is a pretty common conditioner, but why use egg and mayonnaise eggs are a great source of protein to strengthen and revitalize your strands as well as your skin and may it also helps to restore shine and moisturize the hair. You can also do these treatments, adding olive oil or almond oil or even yogurt. So now, you're fully covered and fully coated place your hair in a conditioning cap and let it penetrate for 45 minutes when your time's up thoroughly rinse off the conditioner and follow with your regular conditioner. To make sure all the egg is out of your hair. Whoop looks good and feels good. I got my texture and my bounce back without the fuzz I like to spray on a little mixture of castor and Jehovah oil to moisturize my strands and that's it hope it helps bye.

I. DESTINY: This is literally the video that changed my life 4 years ago! I decided to go natural with damaged, limp, relaxed hair on my head and had NO clue what the heck to do. I had no idea or recollection of what my REAL hair looked like. I started doing this every other week and adding in a few of your other "hair recipes" and now my hair is down my back. It is still difficult to manage, but I absolutely LOVE it and it's me! Decided to put heat on it ONCE for my wedding and my husband almost hit the floor! He was so shocked I had all that hair lol!!! THANK YOU!

K-power: This video is making me feel so old and emotional. This was the first natural hair video I ever watched on YouTube. This is what got me into the natural hair world.

Alexis Tyler: To be honest I thought it was kinda gross putting mayo and egg in hair until I tried it. I tried it while transitioning and IT WORKS wonders. Every since, my hair is not as dry anymore and it's growing faster then usual. So anyone having doubts....TRY IT.

Anita Jones: There are not that many YouTube video's for natural hair care, that actually use NATURAL hair care products!!! I want to thank you Naptual85 for turning me onto Clay/Mud wash. The BEST choice for my fine, natural curls. I no longer have to use, store bought conditioners. I no longer have to be a product junkie for leave in conditioners, gels, and potions. Just wash, add my Apple Cider Vinegar/Water Rinse, organic oils and GO! And now thanks to you again, I'm going to add this Mayo, Honey, Egg for deep Conditioning!!!  XOXO

Lalita Faroli: It's amazing how much her channel has grown over the years; a long with her family, hair and hair care business. I am so proud of her!!

CoraleComics: Look how far you've come. It's so inspiring!

Abena: I tried this and it’s absolutely life changing. After the ACV rinse, I felt the curls that had clumped, my hair was softer and I could split it with ease even though I’m due for a trim. When I was applying the mayo, I felt like it wasn’t doing too much at all but when I washed it out.... My hair has never felt like that before, it was a level of moisture and softness I’d never experienced before. It was late at night and I was tired so I just went to bed without putting on leave in. It’s the next morning and I just sprayed my hair with warm water and there’s no product in it but it’s soooo soft and moisturized. This DIY IS THE TRUTH!!!

Yolanda Tillery: This was AMAZING for my hair. I did not do the ACV as I hate the smell but my hair LOVED the Mayo, Eggs and Honey! My hair was super soft and manageable once I was finished with this deep conditioner! Thank you, Whitney!

Abiola The Creator: I can't believe this was you 5 years ago! Right now your hair is hella long. Thanks for all the tips <3

Michelle M: I always come back to this video when it’s deep conditioning time. It always works!

Zassper Wulfox: I started watching you this year and to see the later results of your hair journey and then earlier days of it is so crazy!! You grew your hair out so much in 9 years and it’s healthy thick hair. Seeing that puts me in the mood to get more serious about and research more on how I can help my own journey create health natural hair

Issanaa: Watching this 9 years later WOW. I remember when I was younger when I was transitioning I came to this video for help. Now, looking how far you have come is inspiring

S Huey: Thank you for this video. My mom used to condition my hair when I was younger with eggs & mayo. I've used honey as a pre-poo & I've done an ACV rinse before. Now I'll try combining all of these items & see how they work for my hair. Thanks again!

K Lomax: Wow! Out of all your video I've watched over the years I have never seen this one . The deep conditioner is literally the same recipe my mom used on my hair when I was a little girl (minus the honey) before I got perms. I used to HATE that egg mayo conditioner cuz it smelled like potato salad on my head but my hair was down my back. Momma knew what she was doing and now I think I will go back to this.

Daughter of Yahuah: When I first went natural I used to follow your vids a lot and my hair was very strong and healthy. Then I deviated and started following other people and became victim of moisture overload which lead to shedding, breakage and really fine hair that would stretch way too much without me offering any effort to it. It was scary and the pop I used to get in my curls just went away. I would get dry matted hair if I didn't moisturize and get extra stretched hair if I did. I did this tonight and even though I haven't washed the egg conditioner off yet my curls are back and poppin! Thanks Naptural!!!

Umm Aaisha: This hair treatment was amazing! I did it and my hair feels really soft and nice. Thank you so much for the video!

Amongthecosmos: Woah...so I just did this mask on my hair on and MAN this made my hair feel AMAZING!! I really wish I would have done this from day one of my big chop cause it felt constantly dry then Oh well I'm doing it NOW and I'm prob going to do this every (or every other week) thanks Whitney!! :))

Shamar Huff: This did wonders to my hair! ☺ I'm definitely including this in my regimen!

La nina: This is the best deep conditioner I have ever tried in my hair! My hair has never been as curly ! Thank You !... I think that I will follow up with all your other recipes!

Turbans & Tunics: Hi beautiful! I'm probably asking a question that's been answered already, but how much mayo, honey and all do we use for this deep conditioning mixture? Thank you! Love the vids!

KAM: This video appeared today as a recommended video. My first time knowing about it. I had to comment because the length of your hair then compared to now AND also adding into the convo your Melanin haircare line. WOW! What a journey! What an accomplishment! It proves once again one must have patience and perseverance! ❤️ Btw, I have purchased 7 total bottles amongst the offerings of your signature line. Just waiting for the African Black soap and leave-in conditioner to restock on Ulta’s or your website (black soap) to purchase again. Your leave-in conditioner is the holy grail hair care product I have been searching for. It works beautifully in my hair. Wishing you stratospheric success with your hair care line. Excitedly awaiting new product offerings. Congratulations Whitney!!

Arcella Gant-Dawson: THANK YOU!!  I'm just going natural for the 1st time after wearing weaves for almost 10 years.  It's only day 5 and I'm ready to be done with it.  A friend recommended your page and seeing this video from 4 years ago and now seeing your hair today.  I'm fully inspired to stick with it!!  Thanks!

J Monster: This deep conditioner and shampoo tip was realllly good for my hair. I always veered away from putting apple cider vinegar in my hair because I didn't think it would work but it actually worked pretty well and defined all of my curls and didn't kink it up like I thought it would, but actually made my hair look longer than it usually does. The deep conditioner felt really good on my hair and I definitely recommend for people who are looking to define their curls without leaving your hair looking too frizzy.

Fuller Wms.Evans: I have been natural for one year. This has been a wonderful experience, During my research, Naptural85 really stuck out as someone to watch. She is really great. Remember every body hair is different.

Lynew: 8 years later, I try this hair recipe! My hair is defined, softer and a bit shinier for 4-5 days longer than it would have been without having done this! I can easily separate my strands. I would like to do this every 3rd or 4th wash. Completely worth it.

Kristina Avery: I did a treatment like this today and i must say...IT WAS AMAZING for my hair:)...it made my curls/coils strong, defined and extremely springy. Its going to be my once a month treat.

mlgbunnyx: I come back to these videos so much. She is my hair twin and I love seeing her hair!

AfroPocahontas: It's amazing how much her hair has grown in 5 years!

Danielle H.: Hello! I just came across your channel yesterday and THANK YOU!!! This deep conditioner is messy but it works wonders. I am transitioning from relaxed to natural and detangling two different textures can be gruesome.

zOYAlove: Came back to this video to say, I've been using this recipe ever since I saw this video...just perfect, and sooo affordable! <333

Lawanda Monique: Whitney your are truly a natural girls inspiration. I tried this deep condition regiment and it was wonderful. But my question is I had a lot of product left over after applying, what is the best way to save the remainder and for how long? Or should I just discard the rest?

Eboni Billups: Hey lovely ladies just a FYI! This IS a protein treatment! I would bit recommend using this every week! It will cause hair to go into protein overload which makes hair frail and brittle! So just be cautious! I do protein treatments once every month or 2 months or whenever I feel the need!

nmcclendon82: I loved this on my hair, will definitely make this apart of my hair care routine! Thanks a bunches...xoXox

Jamecia Reed: This recipe SAVED MY HAIR 5 years ago! My natural hair was down my back two kids later I’m back due to severe postpartum shedding & tight braids ‍♀️ I’m having a major setback but I know this works

Kelley L. Grant, NMLS 1555689: Still a great conditioner. I just cut all of my hair again for a tapered look and ready to start another healthy hair journey. I turn to the pro for great hair tips. Love these throwback videos.

Norina David: Love your videos on caring for Natural hair.  I just did my hair in a modified version of your wet set.  I used my satin covered rollers in large and medium but I used a setting lotion with Shea Butter this time.  I'll see how it comes out tomorrow.  I'll check you out on facebook, too.  Thanks!  I'm also on facebook.  Norina David

BossladyGhana: You really came a long way and seeing videos of you with hair this short is really inspiring to me and to all those who are embarking on this journey

Deadra Bennett: Your inspiring me. I’m starting my natural hair journey and so nervous about it but thanks for this video ❤️

Vibe with Niq: This works wonders for me and my daughters! Thank you so much

Maya Keita: It worked great on my hair! Loved it! Best conditioner ever!

Dominia Frank: This method works! I love how it brings out my curls!!

Dawn Chandler: I would like to thank you so much. Ive been natural 5 years and had a constant fight with dryness and lack of definition. This recipe totally rescued me. Although I didn't use all the products i used the basics and it turned out awesome. Ive been following you for the longest but now you have a true follower.

Gabrielle Campbell: Thank you for being consistent and an amazing woman! You rock girlie!

Renee Slaughter: Watched your vids in the early days of my journey. Back again looking for a more chemical free journey for the next stage. You still got it , girl.

kourtney: You are such an inspiration seeing how far you and your hair has come motivates me more than anything!

Royce: I did this today and was able to get through my hair! when i had relaxed hair it always would mat together, so i let my natural hair grow before i chopped all of my perm off today and i applied this method to my hair and this is the best my scalp and hair felt in a long time! I have now did your twists out method and will see how that turns out for me! Well thanks im super excited! I even have my boyfriend watch your videos and he wants me to try a few things on him! This is so awesome!

Andrea Machado: Thank you very much for sharing the homemade recipes and many other treatments and procedures, I transitioned since Jan 2012, did my BC in Dec 2012 using natural hair, after 25 years using relaxers and blow dryers. I´m a 3C. I´m from Brazil. Love you !

Danae Verba: I'm going to try this deep conditioning mix today. Thanks for putting up such informative and helpful videos! Love your YouTube channel.

Billy B: Your videos are so helpful, I don't think I would know nearly as much as I do about natural hair care if it wasn't for them. Thank You!!!

Dollie J: Just did this today and my hair loved it. My hair has never been so defined

Tracie Y: My hair was very dry and so I decided to try a homemade deep condition. I remembered this recipe from memory but had to see the video again for application. I kept it in for a lot longer than 45 minutes only because my cousin saw me and wanted me to do it on her hair too. We both love the results. Me because the detangling process was so easy afterwards and she because it elongated her curl pattern with very little shrinkage. Definitely going to do it again!!

NaturallyCami: Woman, every time I youtube something for natural hair you are within the first 5 or 6 that pop up! Congrats on that! This is the first video I have seen of you with short hair. My hair is short and very wooly so I'm trying to get in order to get it growing again :) Thank you for the recipe!

Sha'Nice La'Trece: Hi, I love your videos!!! I just started going natural for 2-3 months ago without the Big Chop and its hard but getting easier everyday. I wanted to ask you how long can you keep this deep conditioner before it goes bad?

Cassandra Anglin FitandFree: I just deep conditioned with the egg, mayo and honey conditioner. I loved how springy it made my hair feel. I also loved the shine. I've been using Taliah Waajid products and they work pretty well for the most part, but I am loving these methods you vlogging here.. I have applied some of your tips to growing healthy hair and they are definitely working for me. You are truly my angel. Please keep the vlogs coming! Loving the tips!

Victoria Spencer: I highly recommend this! My hair grew quicker and plus it felt good on my scalp. Just make sure to wash it out thoroughly.

Savvy Sammy: seeing videos like this gives me so much hope and reminds me I need to be patient. to see where you began just like all of us and now you hair flourished so much because you were consistent with caring for it. every time I get frustrated with my TwA am going to come back to this vid

CieraSimone: man i was was so dry. im looking forward to seeing how my hair turns out. im currently letting it sit in my hair with the cap. besides the weird egg and mayo smell (which my dog loved to lick off the floor) i saw a difference in my curls while applying!! thank you for posting these kinds of vids!!

RSWim1: This looks like a good conditioning method, although messy. My sister uses extra virgin coconut oil and her hair is down to her butt, it is amazing. She isn't natural, but the coconut oil (and supplements-biotin, flaxseed, fish oil, etc.) really helped her.

N P: I first saw one of your newer videos and I was discouraged, then I saw this, the same length my hair is now! You're definitely an inspiration.

TheMsMariaG: I tried this the other night when I commented and my hair is very soft and already stronger, less breakage already! I will be continuing this regimen! Thanks for sharing! I did not have any apple cidar vinegar so I skipped that step and added a little olive oil but the results were amazing!

Cece W.: Your Background Music selection was on Fleek from way back when Queen, getting amazing throwback advice in 2020 Note: not sure if it's possible to find salt free mayo as I'm about search myself but when doing DIY hair treatments Salt is Notorious for Drying out the hair over time causing breakage so if I can't find it will make it in my blender and add to Whit's recipe anyway. Continue bringing your Awesome advice and God Bless!!!

Shannon Wysinger: This treatment brought my hair back to life. It even help to unlock my curls. Thank You so much.

JG: 2020 and I had to find my way back to this video from when I first went natural. Going back to the basics.

CW: I tried this, my first ever DIY product. It really really works. I got so many compliments on my hair. Now I'm experimenting with the other DIY vid products from Napturals. This one is a keeper though, seriously!

Sugar Lacey: Nostalgic. I'm tearing up right now. I'm so proud how far you've come. Seeing your hair fit under one shower cap lol. Thanks for everything.

MsMUziQLuvr: I love Braggs too. I tried this conditioner with it, and used the lavender oil and it doesn't smell bad at all. I was concerned about the raw vinegar because it is soooo strong, but it was all good. My girlfriend uses the Heinz ACV on her scalp for flakes. I never tried it, but she swears by it.

ayikatho: Hi Jane! You should REALLY try Naptural85's hair wash regimen! I just finished it myself. I used all same products as her except for sulfa-free shampoo instead of her home-made mud-wash. My hair smells great, it's shiny and for me more importanly it was sooooo easy to detangle!!! :-)

dev B: Hi, Congrats on you transitioning one year! I'd suggest watching Haircrush 's channel. She has great info as well, and has a video called Porosity 101. This will explain the best way to moisturize your hair. But aside from that I would HIGHLY recommend using the greenhouse effect to maintain and keep moisture. If your not sure what it is go to realqueenregimen channel. You can adjust this method as necessary. It's all about what works for you. Trial and Error. Good luck, Dear!

MzNikki Savage: It's amazing to see her hair length in this video oppose to now...her remedies has my hair down my back. This is why I've been such a loyal viewer

The King's Daughter: Always come back to this recipe...I alter it depending on my hair needs used 5 big scoops of mayo, olive oil, molasses (didn't wanna use honey), and 1 large egg. Shampooed and did the ACV rinse and applied this in an applicator bottle all over my hair and let it sit for 1 hour. When I rinsed it out my curls were soft, smooth and defined. Another time I used mayo, banana, egg, molasses, olive oil it revived my curls. Never fails.

La derniere Samourai: thank you for the video, i finally know how my hair will look like in 1 year, after so long I've made the step for the big chop but it has been so long i had relaxed hair that i forgot completely how my hair used to be before. :D

Charrmz09: For all those who are wondering if this works...it does! despite all the mess I've created and the unpleasant egg smell. My hair gets really dry if i don't put anything in it so to ascertain that this works I've twisted my hair without putting anything in it after deep conditioning it. When I took the twists out I was surprised to see it so shiny and moisturized!! I love this!

Yvette Brown: I loved your springy curls especially at this length. Great videos. Peace ✌ and Blessings

Meli T: My niece is biracial with (potentially) beautiful hair like you. She's about to turn 2, but my sister doesn't seem to be moisturizing her hair properly so my poor baby's hair has been looking a liiiiiittle dry. I'm going to share your video with her for some tips. This is great! Your hair is GORGEOUS! Thank your for sharing your regimen.

Trina Rogers: My friend put me on to your vids an hour ago. I can't believe the progress you've made in 4 years! Go gurl! SUBSCRIBED!!!

Zy'on Thompson: My hair was so bouncy and boingy after doing this oml I loved this conditioner so much!!! Thank you so much! 1 extra sub

MyKpopThought: FINALLY! A useful tutorial on how to make your own deep conditioner! ^.^ Just a few questions though...Do you have to do the vinegar part first? Or can you just deep condition? Also, how often would you do this?

tjlaw35: You are sporting the prettiest natural hairstyle I've seen thus far. I just finish following your regime and the castor oil and jojoba oil is a really good moisturizer. Do you comb out your curls? Fantastic hair....I love it!

Ocelena: It's been almost 6 years since this video was re-uploaded, so I wonder if she still uses this now. I've been thinking about combining some of her deep conditioning recipes into one to see how well that'll work, but I'll kinda half the recipe to avoid making too much for two heads to handle. I don't have a protein sensitivity (as far as I know), but I'm wondering if I could use egg substitute powder instead of actual eggs for those days I either don't have any or don't feel like cracking : o

Rebecca Egerton: Hey Whitney, I did this today! I had to return basics. I love this early videos when everything was so simplistic. I had some shedding.

Striving Godly: Thank you for sharing your journey. I absolutely love your hair. I recently was introduced to your channel and Youtube videos. I"m 6 months post my big chop. How often do you wash your hair? What daily products do you use? What can I do with my TWA (3" long).

Butterflyl0ve: Bring back so many memories....started following her right around this time. Finally went natural 2011. I’m almost for certain you and many others played a key role in my decision to go natural...will never go back.

Papoose Duplantier: Wow looking at your more recent videos and then this pops up, I cant believe your hair was ever this short! Youve used so many different routines, can you make a video on the one that works best and is most consistent with healthy moisturized hair?

Réussir en beauté: It's amazing, ! I saw your hair in 2012 and they really changed, so long and amazing ! You prove that black hair is beautiful too (with care) ! Thanks a lot !

Shoe Gal: I just tried this for the first time this evening.  My hair is always frizzy especially at the crown and not much shine either.  Now I think I may have mixed the eggs, mayo and honey too much so the consistency was very watery so it was good that I had an empty oil bottle on hand.  Oh and for the apple cider vinegar mix, I used my spray bottle to apply, which I found was pretty easy to apply. My hair does look shiner and I hope the frizz is gone!! I will have to see after I take my braid out down.  Next time I will have to be carful with how much I mix the eggs, honey and mayo mix... Oh, how often should I do this treatment please?

sissimpson: My favorite DC is mayonnaise, but now I add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to it. Great antioxidents for the hair, and great smell!

Mulatto4Metal: That sounds like pretty reliable advice. I think I'll incorporate some of those things into my routine.

Sherene N. Forbes: Hi Naptual85, I trust this finds you and your family well. Just taking a moment to THANK YOU for your inspirational and educational videos. You have inspired me to pay closer attention to my hair. I LOVE YOUR HAIR! :-) I'm about to do your "Do It Yourself: Homemade Hair Deep Conditioner Apple Cider Vinegar, Eggs, Mayonnaise, and Honey" Thanks again! #love #youinspiredme #youinspiredme

Nickell Francis: Wow that really helps when you are using the mayonnaise and the apple vinegar it looks good nice and clean thank you for the tip

Alea Nichole: My hair looks like this now and I'm working on my natural journey!

Pretty Clarinet: I never thought of using this in my hair. It looks like we have the same hair texture. I am going to try this in my hair.

Yotsuba Yamada: This is a great video, thank you for making it. I am curious though, how long does this mixture last for (shelf life)? I assume you refrigerate it? And if you do refrigerate, how does it affect the texture of the mixture, and should you heat it up or add anything to it in before your next use of it to, "bring it back to life" for additional use?

damuffattack: Hi, I made this mixture for the first time tonight. So far so good, I did see some stretching! I've noticed our hair is very similar which is also a plus. Is it ok to store the product for the next 2wks?? I have so much left over, or should I just throw it all away and make more?

Tales From The Cult: Really works tried it and my hair have had amazing result- very conditioned and I had a growth spurt :) Thank you for sharing!

FireRayZYaoiFan: How many times a month should I apply this treatment to my hair? Also, what kind of things do you do in order to grow your hair so long?

♡ Azanri Love ♡: I bet this works wonders!! i use all of the ingredients individually and they are amazing. I bet they are even better all together. :)

Kara Clark: It really does work! :D  I love this one!

Jillian Mitchell: After an 18 month transition, I did the big chop yesterday and my hair was just… there. No curl pattern, no nothing. After a co-wash and condition, still nothing. I tried this conditioner and my curls are out of control!! haha This helped me define my curls and coils. THANK YOU!!

Bessie Watkins: I have been watching your videos for a while & I know this is a old one. Just looking at this one video & to how your hair is now is teaching me how to do my hair Naturally. Good & Big difference from then & Now.Keep up the good work. I am trying to get use to hair shrinkage, I know it takes time but I love my hair & I know it is a LONG JOURNEY. Stay Blessed

T Bell: Hey! You are amazing with your videos and tips. I am going on 2 1/2 years after my big chop. I cut my hair almost bald. My hair is now the length of yours, maybe a little longer, on this video. I refuse to put heat on my hair. I have become beyond frustrated. I am in much need of a treatment to keep my hair moist. How often should I use this treatment? Thank You :0)
