Hey guys, my hair has been through a lot over these past five years and i decided to do a new protein treatment before i got my hair cut so um in these clips you'll see that my hair was getting thinner towards the ends, and it was just Time for a change i got ta cut to make it fuller and i decided to give the hydrolyzed protein treatment a go. And basically i read some of the suggestions on my last do-it-yourself protein treatment. Video and a couple of you guys commented about the hydrolyzed protein treatment. I had read about this on the natural haven before and i decided to give it a search on youtube and nikki's channel came up, and that is the green beauty channel guys her videos are super, informative and not only that she sells some of the products that She uses in her videos. This is the best protein treatment i've done on my hair and that's because i actually have the correct size protein now and basically, the egg and yogurt type proteins. The protein is actually too large to help patch up any damage done to your hair and if you want a more thorough explanation of the protein treatment, i'm going to put nikki's video in the description box. So basically, this is super. Super easy you're going to need. Two cups of your favorite conditioner and you're also going to need just one third of the hydrolyzed protein treatment and after that you just mix, and after i got my hair cut, i came home and i washed my hair again and i sectioned my hair into seven Sections and applied the treatment all over. I put on a plastic cap and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes or you could just use the plastic cap and uh leave it on for 45 minutes. Basically, you need the heat to help bond. I guess you can say the protein treatment, so it can fill in those gaps in your hair and when i tell you this is the best treatment i've done on my hair. I absolutely love it and it also can be a deep conditioning treatment if you don't want to do an intense treatment by just adding two tablespoons to your favorite conditioner. So this is definitely going to be one of my new staples. I style my hair after and what you saw in my why i cut my hair video. That was the style that came after. I did this treatment. I absolutely love it and um guys go ahead and check out nikki's channel tell her. My natural sister sent you and her videos are super super informative. It'S like the science of black hair, slash kim a tube, updated. It'S it's a great channel, she's um! You can tell she's super intelligent, so um. If you have any other product questions, but i'm going to do more videos about the things i use on my hair this year - and i hope you guys enjoyed this but um - the treatment was about 20 dollars, but it was well worth it. My hair was worn out from a box dye gone wrong & with it being so fine, it seems like it's never recovered from that or a blowout I did in September. So I mixed the protein with my Curl Rehab DT, left it in with my Hair Therapy Wrap for 20 min then without for another 25. I rinsed, & my hair felt so soft & so much stronger! My curl definition improved along with elasticity, & my dyed sections looked brighter. I'll definitely be doing it again before I straighten my hair in April. I love her channel, too! thingsilove18: Yes love her! I decided to use pure hydrolyzed protein on her recommendation. Though I couldn't afford that 8oz bottle for $20 (I found mine on ebay) the treatment worked great. It reduced my shedding and my hair felt moisturized for a longer than normal period so its definitely a staple now.

You just don't mix it with conditioner, you follow up with their balancing conditioner (the must do second step hints Two Step). And you sit under the dryer but without a plastic cap. Does wonders on my natural 4c color treated hair. I'll have to try this one you used too.

My hair is stronger and less breakage. I going to try the wheat protein in your video. I've been transitioning my hair for five months and it has not been an easy road. OrganizedTanglz: Interestingly I use ecostyler like aphogee 2 step. I slick my hair back with the ecostyler lightly after a wash and leave it in for two days then prepoo with coconut oil then rinse with vinegar followed by vo5. Hydrolyzed wheat protein is the second ingredient in ecostyler. My hair stops breaking and shedding decreases greatly. I'm 5 months post relaxer. I'm 4abc.

De Andrea Dudley: Ok so I tried the DIY whipped coconut oil. I had all the ingredients, but it was an epic fail for me! I was so disappointed. I think my coconut oil was already semi soft to begin with because of the heat. I probably could have just manually stirred the ingredients. I was so excited,but oh well. It just looked like soup. So I just put it in a spray bottle and called it a day.
