Hey naturally says welcome back to my channel in today's video I will be making miss rosemary and aloe vera juice, hair, rinse and leave-in conditioner, and I will also be showing you the two different ways that I apply this to my hair. Alright. So to get this DIY project going, you're gon na want to bring two cups of water to a boil, and once it's come to a boil, you can grab about three to four sprigs of fresh rosemary, allow the rosemary to steep and simmer in a covered pot For about three to five minutes, and once that's done cooking, you want to remove it from the heat and allow it to cool completely. While the rosemary water is cooling, we can move on to the next step. We'Re gon na take a hold entire chilled aloe vera leaf. I let this sit in my refrigerator in this video. It looks like I'm only using that one little piece right there, but I actually wan na be using the whole entire leaf, so we're just gon na cut off those spiny edges with a nice sharp knife, and you can see all this awesome jelly gooey goodness on The inside and then you're just gon na cut the leaf in half, and I think this is just so. Cool like nature is awesome guys, but anyway, after that, I like to use an ice cream scoop to get all of that good aloe vera gel out of the leaf, because, unlike using a knife, you won't run the risk of cutting the skin and getting it mixed Up in with the gel, so we're just gon na do this to the whole entire leaf, getting all of that gel goodness together. But as you can see, it's a solid and we want aloe vera juice. So, in order to get the juice we're just gon na throw all of those chunks into a blender and blend it up, you just gon na allow this to blend until you have a more watery consistency. Like you see here, I like to do the added step of using a nut milk bag, you can use a cheese, cloth or pantyhose just something that will allow you to strain this aloe vera juice into something. That'S a little bit more refined. I find that, if you don't do this, it's still rather thick and since I'll be putting this into a spray bottle. I want this to be thin of a liquid as possible, and this will also help to eliminate any chunks that are left in the gel, like you're, seeing here and after that. A whole leaf gave me about 3/4 of a cup of aloe vera juice. At this point, my rosemary water was completely cooled. As you can see, the rosemary does turn the water brown. That'S completely normal, but now here comes the fun part. We get to mix these two ingredients together and I'm using a whisk to do this just to ensure that they're thoroughly blended together and as you can see, it still has that gel, like consistency from the aloe vera juice, and I like to pour it into a Small bottle this is gon na, be my spray bottle. Obviously all of it will not fit into that and that's for good reason. This is gon na, be for my leave-in conditioner, I'm just gon na add a cap on to that and keep that in my fridge at all time and then I'm adding a lid to the jar that is airtight. You want to keep this refrigerated as well. Ok, so, as promised, I'm gon na show you how I use this as a hair rinse. So before I use as a hair rinse, I always shampoo, and I also condition my hair, to condition my hair. I always let it sit in my hair for like at least 5 minutes, I wash my body wash my face and all the good stuff, while my hair has the conditioner on, and I have a shower cap on. That'S like a major major key. This is because the heat you'd naturally generate with the shower cap on will allow the conditioner to penetrate a little bit more deeply after I rinse out my conditioner, I go in with my hair. Rinse rosemary happens to be one of the most beneficial herbs for your hair. It contains your Solek acid, which helps to increase circulation in the scalp and promotes hair growth. It revitalizes your hair removes build-up, and it also helps your hair to look shiny and soft. It has antimicrobial anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties and can help treat dandruff, itchiness and scalp irritation. Alvera juice contains proteolytic enzymes, which help to get rid of dead. Skin cells, clogging, hair follicles, it's alkaline, so it balances the pH of your hair, which promotes healthy hair. Its vitamins and minerals strengthen hair strands and adds luster, and it also gives hair last and prevents breakage in this next step, I'll be showing you how to use the rosemary and aloe vera juice as a leave-in conditioner. You just want to take it out of your fridge, give it a nice little shake and then spray it into your hair just enough to dampen it a little bit. It doesn't have to be soaking, it definitely shouldn't be dripping, and that would be a sign that you're using entirely too much. But after your hair is damp, you can just go ahead and just massage it all over your scalp just to make sure all of your hair strands are thoroughly coated. And now I'm going in with my hair growth and dry scalp serum and I'm applying this to my edges. I hadn't done this before, but I'm gon na see if I can thicken my edges up just a little bit. I'M gon na massage this in as well, and my hair is looking like this. If you saw my other video, you know that I'm obsessed with Shea moistures frizz free mousse right now, so this is part of my daily routine. I'M using this just to define my curls and that only defines my curls that it also leaves them super soft and moisturized, and so I really love love love this product. So, while I'm here, I might as well just close this video out, I can say that my hair is super super moisturize, as you can see it, has it healthy shine to it. It feels silky silky soft. One of the reasons that I am putting so much effort into making sure my short hair is healthy. Moisturize is because I'm on a growth journey. If you haven't been following me, you wouldn't know that, but that's one of the main reasons that I'm going through. So many different steps in ensuring that I'm using products that are going to maintain the health of my hair when you think about it, if you're on a ghost journey - and you currently have super short hair, a little bit of hair - you have right now are going To be your ends later, so once you have your six inches of hair at the end of your year of growth, those are going to be your end and how you treat them right now is going to determine whether or not those ends are healthy or they're. Split, dried and phrasing Krusty's that No, so you want to make sure that you're keeping your hair healthy that should create a routine. I currently do have a routine. I do this exact wash day every Wednesday and Sunday as of right now. Sometimes I miss days and after like push it back, but just as a general rule of thumb, I'm trying to wash my hair and cleanse my scalp twice a week. That'S the end of the video. If you're not subscribed, or what are you waiting for hit that subscribe button right now and make sure you stay tuned for my next video bye,

ANGEL REGIS: Thank you for sharing this hair goodness. My hair is a bit shorter than your version there but with lots of grey. I am doing the leave in with rosemary, thyme and cloves today. Heart To Soul: Hey Nia, thanks for sharing your tips, its really helpful.  I have a question.  I'm currently in Kansas and I'm getting ready to move at the end of this month.  If I order your hair growth serum, how long would it take for me to get it?  I don't want to run the risk of ordering and not receiving it prior to leaving.  Thanks!

cotinavs: Phenomenal presentation! Very well explained, executed and good information. Thanks again and I will subscribe ✨

Z o ë L i f e: Great video! I added henna powder and an onion. Trying the onion for the first time. Read it’s good for thickening the hair. Only downfall is the smell of the onion but in willingly to try! Fenugreek water didn’t smell that good to me at first either.

Rose Contrena: Thanks for sharing this ... I used to use rosemary years ago and had also use aloe on my hair, bit had never thought of mixing the two.

Laudgerla A: You are the best thank you so much for this video. You’re always so detail-oriented.

Vickie Eley: Thank you for sharing. I’m on a hair journey as well and want to use natural products for hair growth. I appreciate how you went step by step for how to use Rosemary and Aloe Vera for rinse and regular spray in. How long can you leave in refrigerator?

Suzan Hart: Good day, how often do you use the spray and how long does it last when refrigerated?

NewPhillyGirl: Loved my hair at this length... it’s a never ending cycle for me though. I start here and then hit growth spurt where the hairs reach my ears—then want tailbone length and get frustrated when it hits my shoulders and takes ages to grow beyond... I’ve hit bra strap length and decided to get a silk wrap... incur heat damage. Start cutting and this the cycle begins again.‍♀️

Leonor: Thank you so much for sharing! I will definitely try this. Also you’re beautiful!

sexydarky29: Love this going and try the leave in for sure I have all the stuff in my back yard. Thanks Soo much hun

P. Itiba Contreras: i love it... you can also use nopal (prickly pear cactus) in addition to or in exchange of aloe

Maryluz Rivera aka Latina for the Lord: You are gorgeous and that pixie cut I love it? I did a big chop last Summer and although my hair is healthier. It seems to be stagnant in growth. I was looking for a good DIY. I grow my own aloe I'll be picking up a spray bottle today and some fresh rosemary. Excited about trying this thank you for posting! Stay safe stay healthy stay blessed! ☺

Edileusa Vitório: Aqui no Brasil fresh Rosemary = alecrim; e aloe vera = babosa/aloe vera mesmo. Obrigada!

Jackie: Great video!!! Thank you. I actually purchased some organic aloe vera juice today from my local health food store. Is it ok to mix with my Rosemary water mixture? Thx again for your videos. They are always so detailed.

Kiera B: I love all of your videos ❤. Thanks for sharing all of your tips

Kathy Warner: Thanks for such a great video!!! You nails are fabulous!

Violet Pines: you are the QUEEN of hair care

Riyad Ravi: Hi Nia! Can I use rosemary oil instead if I can't get fresh rosemary?

Jamie Harris: Hello Nia! Great video as always! I have a question: can you use 100% pure Rosemary essential oil instead of boiling the herb? I ask because I just received an essential oils kit and Rosemary is one of them so I wondered if that could work too?! I also am in the process of ordering your dry scalp and hair growth oil from Etsy but there was a problem from Etsy so I have to reorder it. I'm so excited to be on this natural hair journey (don't mind my profile pic, it's old)! Keep up the great work and may GOD bless you in all your future endeavors!

queenmackaveli: Ow! Thank you so much for this ❤️ I need to try this

suchapill ! !: Sista you are sooo fine. You are truly the main ingredient in this video. I feel your hair journey too because 9 short months ago my hair was your length. I had just chopped my shoulder length loks in order to unlock my potential. Those loks took me 12 years to grow. If I knew what I was doing they probably would have been twice as long but I did okay. The plan was to have long hair for the first time and enjoy the power of this primal style and then unlock it one day by getting a low cut Caesar. The reaction of family, friends and co-workers was stronger than my reactions when I cut it all off. Co-workers seemed to think I did something to them. So many feelings tumbling around in my body. *I felt free and courageous!* A few weeks later new flutterings in my body and my mind. I wanted something I never had before. Long natural hair that was not "locked". My hair is now about 8 inches long if stretched out. This is huge because I used to have this belief that my hair grows slowly, slowy and always remains so short. Now I can get cornrows and really go in. How did I do it? I began watching YouTube videos, reading herbal books, etc. Now I have a stack. Biotin, beta carotene, wolf berries, gingko biloba and a super serum (Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil with Rosemary)*** Wheww! It works and wearing a Du-rag when at home is a must. So why am I watching your video? A wise woman once told me the room for improvement is the biggest room in the world. The R & D continues. I'm convinced fresh, natural Rosemary can have a more powerful effect than the serum and Romero wine is just as fine as you are Nia Nubia. Natural freshness and home preparations are more potent than something off the shelf. Am I right Nia? Pleasure meeting you! Stay balanced, vibrant and lovely. ♥️
