Multi-Use Softening Leave In Conditioner & Twist Elongating Style Cream| Melanin Hair Care Review

Flake, it's got something something is gon na happen. My curls not gon na be defined. It'S not gon na mousse tries my hair properly likes something it's just gon na be something I just knew it. I know I would be the one. I would be the only one that have to have a negative review for Melanie here. Welcome back to my channel guys. So today I am doing a review on the melanin hair care line, so there's a little backstory, so I already recorded me twisting up my hair and everything with the melanin hair care products and all the footage mysteriously disappeared. So yeah it's been a very unfortunate past couple of days. This has been a lot going on and that's neither here nor there either way like look, I'm missing a nail and like, but that's okay, because I know these twists out. Results are gon na make it all better. So I don't have the process of me putting the products throughout my hair, but I did take notes. So I would let you guys know my overall review of them still, but as far as you actually seen the process, I don't have that footage, but I know for a fact: I'm gon na keep using these products like you're gon na see me using them regardless. So, alright, let's get right into it right now, I'm just gon na take my hair down um, just to recap from what I did recorder previously. That is not gon na be in here, unless I somehow magically am able to find that footage, which you know what you never know that. So I got the melanin haircare multi-use softening leave-in conditioner, and I used it two ways only I used it as a deep conditioner and a leave-in. I shampoo, my hair. This is not melanin, but I shouldn't put my hair with coconut and hibiscus curling shine shampoo from Shea Moisture. Yes, I did the deep condition in the leave-in with the softening treatment. I also use the multi-use oil and then I just twisted my hair up with the twist elongating style cream, so yeah! So that's what's here, it's only been like a full 24 hours. So I'm glad to take these twists out in yeah. I'M just ready for this magic to happen. Okay, I need something to brighten up my day because this decade, you know what I mean this is the multi-use leave-in conditioner. I just used that as lotion. That'S another use bet you didn't think about that. Hang that okay, so I'm just gon na coat my hands with the multi-use oil by the way I really love the twist cap on this. I love how she did that. I think the smell out of our three products, the product I like the most smell wise - is the oil. This one's a little damp, hey, it's almost like it has like a hold. That'S pretty cool, I'm just trying to look and see if there's any flaking or anything, okay, all right, so I got this side done so far, so good I'm actually really liking. These results. I'M gon na go take down the other half of my head off camera and I'll be right back. Okay, all right! So now I've got the twist I'll, take it out, and yes, I love it already all right. So now you already know what time it is. I'M just going to pick it out and flip this thing up. I really don't even have a lot of fluff that I need to do so need to shape it or something I think okay. So I'm back, and these are the results, and I have to say I'm absolutely happy with these results - I've, nothing bad to say about it like this is the this product. These products are one-of-a-kind for sure, like my hair feels very moisturized, but in a different way. I don't know if that that's weird to say, but, like I don't know, my hair feels very well like I'm used to my hair being pretty flat on first day. Hair and my hair is not flat and I love that the cream is such a nice thick butter. I love dick butters for my hair, for my type for here at that so yeah, I'm just gon na run down the list and I'm just gon na get right into the review guys. Oh, I leave my edges with the style factor, edge, edge control and I use their gel as well. Oh, so I'm just gon na run down these notes, and first I have that the twist elongating cream is in fact elongating. So when I was twisting my hair up, like my twists, actually sat a little longer than they usually do, I think it's because of how thick the butter was. It'S not like at all any type of like watery type of style cream at all, and so my hair didn't shrink up a lot, but it did like shrink up enough to allow my curls to do what they do. I didn't have to and my hair as much to stretch it, I'm very moisturizing, but when I use all the products together, so what I mean by that is the multi-use softening leave-in conditioner. I will say this by itself: first I'll start out with, when I put it throughout my hair, when I was preparing to decondition at first putting it on my hair. It kind of felt like it was kind of just I want to say, was just sitting on my hair, but it took a good minute like like exactly a minute, like literally a minute, to really penetrate my hair about once it penetrated my hair. It was so moisturizing, it was with it in my hair, so I've deep conditioned with it with my hair and twists, and I just watched some of it out in the twist and left something. And then I came back and I apply more of the leaving on my hair. My hair dipped, oh boy, stir eyes, but I've definitely had my hair a little more moisturized before so I believe you can use it as a styler as well the the leave-in conditioner. I personally don't really like the leave-in conditioner by itself, like with nothing else in my hair. I personally wouldn't use it just by itself. Yes, so personally, I don't really care for the leaving by itself, but the leave in along with the twist scream is fire like the leaving doesn't have like. I don't know as far as detangling and stuff like that it wasn't the best for me, but it did do a good job like once. It really like penetrated my hair and stuff like that. It did detangle really well, but once I put the styling cream in that oil on top of that, like just those three products together, our magic like it felt so good. It was really like detangling through my hair, so nicely just gliding through my curls and knots and tangles like it was just awesome hands down like all three of them worked so well together for sure the signature trio is amazing. So yeah, like I was saying me personally, I wouldn't leave. I wouldn't use the leave-in just by itself in my hair, but then again I never really ever would with this with any product line. So I'm not faulting. That'S like that's not a con here, because no liepman has ever left my hair so moisturize to the point that I'm just like I'm just gon na leave just delete it in my hair and use it as a styler like I haven't ever had that experience. The type of hair that I have, I need a thick twist styling cream like I need a thick butter. I need it to really penetrate my hair. So as far as I'm concerned, no leaving is gon na get the job done like that. For me to just keep that in my hair, and it just be that so that's that on that um see, I love that it's a thick butter, if I haven't said that already, I love that it's a thick cream and I think butter um, I'm gon na Just show you guys how thick this stuff is. I hope you can see it this stuff. This stuff is so thick like I can't even like it is so thick like. This is a really thick butter and I love the fact that it's super thick and you don't need a lot of product like at all, like I literally just scraped a little bit, rub it through my hands and then did the praying hands on whatever little section That I was gon na twist up, I did the praying hands and just to tangle through, like like it was nothing like, and I didn't need a whole lot of product like it was awesome. The oil is not thick, but it's not super light like it's really that happy medium, and for me that means it's perfect, so the oil is actually okay, it's very lightweight. I love the smell of the oil. The twist cream doesn't really have much of a smell. It smells kind of like shea butter or cocoa butter or something, but it's very light, but I will say the only kind I have is the smell of the liepman. It'S like a really really strong minty smell and I have to admit my stomach started. To hurt a little bit like I'm, not a huge fan of super strong mints mouth like that um, but, as I was taking, my hair out, like my hair, doesn't smell like full or mint like it was when I first put it in here like this, the Smell is pretty strong, though that's the only thing like I'm, not a huge fan of that, and if you guys have watched my videos, you know dhama huge being like fruity, scents and stuff like that. So something minty like this is not something that I'm very fond of, but I'm not you know, I'm not complaining about it, though, but it is a pretty strong scent. So that's the only thing I would say: that's not only that's the only qualm. No, but no that's the only con. I really have, with this whole entire line, it's just the smell of the leave-in conditioner, I'm not a huge fan of it. Maybe show you know provide other sense later on, but other than that, like this line was absolutely the best. Oh, I will say when I was twisting up my hair as well like I did realize it would get very white. I feared that the products would flake in my hair, so I was really scared about that, but it didn't flake at all. I think it's just that the product was so thick, but it didn't flake, God, there's no flaking or nothing. Also. I'Ve used the edge factor edge, stop back there gel on my hair, and I don't see any flaking or anything at all. So I would say that gel and this can be paired together without any issues so yeah like I get. It looks so good and I can't wait to see how day two and three and four five day hair looks, but I mean if this is first day here. I am not complaining at all like period. This is this really looks really really good guy, so yeah. It definitely has my stamp of approval. I'M not gon na lie. I'M like I've, seen a lot of good reviews on this stuff and I'm like watch me be the one person that has issues when it comes to this line. I was like watch something go wrong like just watch something go wrong like I just know it's gon na be me. I was like. I know it's gon na, be it's gon na flake. It'S got something. Something is gon na happen. My curls not gon na be defined. It'S not gon na move rise, my hair properly like something it's just gon na, be something I just knew it. I know I would be the one I'd be the only one that have to have a negative review for melena haircare and I absolutely didn't like believe the height. It'S true, it's true. I would not like to you. This is a must-buy and it's gon na last. You a long time like these jars are big and all right. This joy is pretty big. I remember her saying she built the jars up all the way to the top. She definitely did that, like just this baby is filled all the way up to the top. Like all the way up to the top so - and I barely used any of this um in the previous video, I was recording - I got deleted or mysteriously disappeared. I was saying how, with the leave in conditioner, I'm definitely gon na come back and try it other ways, because I only tried it to waste this time. I'Ve watched other videos and I've seen people try to do. I want to say there are seven ways that you can use this. I'Ve seen people try to look off seven ways and that's cool enough, but this is 18 almost $ 19, so I just didn't want to use it all up in one setting. So I was like I'm just gon na try to lace this time next time, I'll, try two other ways. Another time like you know what I'm saying over us being a time. I don't want to use it all up and one day, because I've seen them try all seven ways, and then they went all the way down to here, because this is a leaving conditioner, it's not a twist cream, so it is very lightweight and yeah. It'S easy to use up all this product, but yeah overall, like like, I said melanin, hair care has my stamp of approval. I would definitely continue to purchase from this line and I'm so very happy. Yes, I'm so very happy that I decided to go ahead and try these products out and yes have so many good twist outs. I am so ready like this. These curls, these curls, like my hair, looks really really good right now, like I'm looking at, and I can't believe the the thing that surprises me, the most is the fact that this is first-day hair like it's not flat or anything like it, just give them like. It'S just so beautiful, so you know I'm gon na go ahead and in this video now, because I could go on and on and on about how I love these products. But I don't think you guys want to stay here all day and watch me talk about how much I love these products for hours upon hours, so I'm gon na go ahead and end this video guys.
