This video is sponsored by Ritual.

Now i know what you're thinking, how is this girl gon na pop on my screen and try to tell me how to style, wavy and curly hair with her hair all slicked up in a ponytail? I have been so fired up about making this video for maybe two weeks now, and it is literally just raining every single day. It'S even raining right now. This is the view out my window y'all the thought of olaplex deep conditioner styling diffusing just to go out in the rain. That life is not for me. So today we're gon na be imagining. My hair is down. It'S frizz free, it's defined! It'S voluminous. Are you seeing it? Are you seeing what i'm seeing? Are you starting to see it? Today'S video is inspired by a lovely fellow youtuber named jamie paige. She did a top three favorites of all makeup products, so top three mascara top three bronzer all that jazz today. We'Re bringing it to the hair world so i'll be going over my top three favorite shampoos, conditioner stylers, oils etc, and i want to give a big big thank you to ritual for sponsoring a portion of today's video. But we will get into that in a little bit, so let's go ahead and jump on in and of course, these products are geared towards wavy and curly girls. Most of my hair is in the type 2 category, a combination of type 2b and type 2c waves, and my hair is highly porous because i highlight and bleach my hair and i would say that i have thin actual hair strands, but a lot of it. So i have a decent high density of hair, but the hair strands in particular are on the thinner side, fair warning. This video is going to be on the longer side, grab a snack grab, your sparkling water, let's get to it and just as a preface i want to let you know that i have a vast variety of prices of products in front of me as well. I try to have at least one drugstore and one high end in every category. I am so super excited to be working again with ritual on this portion of today's video ritual has multivitamins geared towards you and what stage of life you're in whether you're a teen? Whether you're 18 and up, which is the multivitamin that i take, maybe you need prenatals or you're in the 50 and up category of course, as we go through different stages in life, we're gon na have different vitamins that we need. So the vitamins that i need are gon na be different than what my mom needs. For example, my personal thing about ritual is that it is made traceable, so you can see the nutrient forms dosage and supplier of every single vitamin. It'S not a surprise. It'S not a guessing game, you know exactly where everything is. So, if there's anything you want to look up, you can see exactly where their high quality ingredients come from and that i really appreciate - and of course ritual is sustainable. Their bottles are made from 100 recycled materials and all of their mail outs are made from plant fibers and even the ink is a plant-based ink which is really really important to me. Personally, i really try to eat a healthy and well-balanced diet on a day-to-day basis, but sometimes i miss the mark and i might not get as many vegetables or what have you as i need so for me, ritual really, steps in to fill in the gaps of My diet, when i don't quite hit the mark and there are vegan capsules and gluten free as well. If you are interested be sure to use my code, i have a link in the description box down below right there down below for 10 off of your first three months of ritual. If you need a new multivitamin without all the fillers, this is your girl. So our first category today is where we start with the scalp. That'S right, focusing on the scalp is super super important, and i think that brands in the year of 2020 really focused on that and honed in on it. I feel like so many brands came out with just so many fantastic scalp products uh the first one i want to speak to is the not your mother's curl talk, scalp care cleansing oil. This is a really really nice, affordable, scalp cleanser, and i will have links to all the products mentioned in the description box down below this product. In particular, i like, because i feel as though it's very very very gentle, but it does do the job, so i think that this works from waves to coils. It removes build up beautifully while allowing your hair to restore its natural oils. It works hard to remove build up while restoring your natural oils this product, i love the applicator. I find the targeted tip applicator to be really great for applying the product. This has a slight tingly sensation, so it does have peppermint oil in it. If you don't like that kind of, like you know that trader joe's peppermint tea tree tingle, if you don't like that feeling this product won't be for you, it does have a little bit of a tingly sensation from the peppermint oil um, and this also has an Amazonian white clay and superfood oil blend - this is curly girl, method, approved, affordable and fantastic moving on to a much higher end product, but i truly truly love it. This is from drunk elephant. This is the tlc happy scrub. This product is super super unique. I feel like drunk elephant was one of the first brands to hop on the train of skincare, but for your scalp, the 10 h, a bha blend is going to chemically exfoliate your scalp, but i do want to point out that it also has some physical exfoliation. As well, it has a biodegradable plant, cellulose exfoliating beads, to help sweep away the dead skin, so the aj and bha blend will work to dissolve and get away those dead, skin cells, and then the biodegradable exfoliator will work to sweep it away. In my opinion, this product was just light years ahead of its time, so so good, it is a very pricey product, but in my opinion it is well worth it. Our next product is the only one i don't physically have with me today uh, but i will be showing a picture. It is the sunday riley clean, rinse, scalp, clarifying serum with niacinamide. This product is extremely similar coming from a predominantly skincare focus brand, of course, sunday riley. They kind of took the same approach as drunk elephant to focusing on the scalp and really helping to get rid of the build up and using acids to do that. This one in particular uses salicylic, acid and glycolic acid, and they tie it all together with niacinamide for a little bit of a growth, concentrate for the hair, so the sunday riley product is essentially the same. It'S just using a different blend. So it's really just whatever is best for your skin type in particular, while both products use glycolic acid, the drunk elephant product also uses citric acid, lactic, acid and tartaric acid girl. I told you this was going to be a long video. I told you okay. Moving on to shampoo, this is hands down one of my favorite categories, uh, for so so many reasons, but mostly volume. You guys know the key to my signature. Look is volume, it's what i love it's. What i do, as we say in the south, baby, the bigger the hair, the closer to god, so i have three fantastic shampoos for you, starting from the top. My holy grail is the not your mother's curl talk line shampoo. I don't have enough good things to say about the shampoo. I'Ve talked about it so many times, so i'm not gon na harp on it, but you guys know this is my go-to. If i have an event, if i'm gon na take a picture, if i want my hair to look good, this is what i use i just i love it. A new favorite of mine actually is from sunbum, and this is their detoxifying shampoo, it's so so so lovely it's a sulfate free, deep cleansing, shampoo enriched with apple cider, vinegar, blue agave and cacao. It'S truly so so very lovely. I love that it's cruelty, free color, safe paraben, free sulfate, free vegan, all that jazz. It also has uv protection, which has been a fantastic product for me for the summer. I'M i'm really just such a fan, i'm very impressed by this product in particular. Last but not least, we have our higher end product, and that is from pros. I'Ve worked with pros so many times on my channel. I really love their products. They'Re, custom formulation, hair care um, and this is the shampoo it's my own formulation. It'S sulfate free, silicone, free, vegan, paraben, free all that jazz. I would say this is the most hydrating of the three shampoos, while still giving me volume it's just chef's, kiss moving on to conditioner baby girl. You cannot have a good hair day. If you don't have a good conditioner, if you know you know my favorite holy grail conditioner, i you guys know you already know you already know. I'Ve said this name so many times. Let'S see if i can say it. Shea moisture 100 virgin coconut oil daily hydration conditioner nailed it okay. So this is my favorite conditioner. You guys know it is so thick rich creamy dreamy, but i can still get volume. I don't understand what kind of sorceries in this product. I really don't because the first time i used it like years ago i was like oh my gosh, like i almost tried to rinse it out of my hair, i'm like dang, my hair is going to be so weighed down. It'S going to be like straight. No nope, it's just moving on to another one of my favorites. This is a newer favorite. It'S from eva nyc um. It is their satin dream, smoothing it says shampoo, but i meant to grab the conditioner um. So just pretend it says: conditioner, it's fantastic! This is great if you want no frizz and you're, not playing games. Okay, you want that smooth, perfect curl. This is the look for you. I did this in a video recently with a denman brush. I think that was the video i used this with. It turned out fired, it is sulfate, silicone and paraben free cruelty, free and it's so so good and also in recyclable packaging, and i kind of have a tie for my third conditioner bear with me. But this is nice in this category we did do all drugstore products. This is the maui moisture, conditioner um really any of them. I love honestly so good uh, but this one i pulled because it's their lightweight hydration it's in the hibiscus and then the sunbum curls and waves conditioner. These two are really really similar. In my opinion, they're just super lightweight they're perfect. If your hair gets weighed down really easily, maybe you have finer hair texture. These aren't going to like gunk up on you. I would say that this one is slightly thinner. This one is slightly thicker but they're, very, very similar in moisture levels and perfect for wavy girls in particular. If you have curls or coils, i would use different products from this brand. Maybe the blue line that one is awesome um, but yeah. These are great for waves or just a low density hair in general. Okay, really quick! You guys i'm thinking of doing something crazy um! I need your opinion friend a friend girlfriend a girlfriend, so i'm considering getting more ear piercings on my left ear and i wondered i wanted to discuss it. Let me show you the vision. Let me pitch you and then get your opinion so um. I have two ear piercings on both sides - um like one just right above the other, but i'm thinking of getting a third and then also getting one up here. So there would be four on this year and i would just probably keep two on this one. But i think i want to do four on this side. This is the picture of what i'm envisioning for myself, i'm picturing, just like dainty cute cool for the summer hot girl summer, edgy book cute. Are you seeing it? Are you seeing the vision comment down below? Let me know your thoughts. This was my pitch vote below and be sure to follow me on instagram. If you are not following me already, i'm gon na be putting out a lot of video content as opposed to pictures, i'm so over taking pictures. I just like talking to you guys, so it's gon na be a lot of really fun. Video content over there be sure to check it out. If you are interested mail time mask time i cheated, i got excited overzealous. We did four masks sue me. Okay, so first up you guys know, i mean honey. This is the shea moisture, hydrate and repair protein power treatment if your hair needs a bounce back, if your hair is looking limp, if your hair, if your hair is not curling up like it normally does, and you need a protein packed power treatment. This is the one for you, baby girl. It is positively lovely and the price you cannot beat okay. Next, we have another shea moisture product. This is the jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen and restore treatment mask. This is hands down. My favorite mask of all one size fits all. It can do it all. Okay, it'll bring your moisture back. There'S some peppermint oil in here to stimulate your scalp. It'S got jamaican black, castor oil to stimulate hair growth. It just kind of does it all? It'S truly just a miracle product and i cannot recommend it enough. Once again, i will have all of these linked in the description box down below, but this one is great in particular, if you do a lot of like straightening curling blow drying, even diffusing, just any type of processing of your hair. Maybe your maybe you drive a convertible you're in the wind a lot just you know anything that can damage your hair. This will bring it back now for our high-end mask. I have the briojio, be gentle, be kind mask super hydrant. This mask will make your hair soft, but be careful because it can make it too soft. Okay, you know. Sometimes your hair can get like too soft to where it's not gon na hold a curl, and it's just kind of like too soft. I do have to be cautious of that, but i mean what a great problem if you're, really struggling with dry, damaged brittle hair. This is a fantastic product for you. It is definitely on the higher price point, but i always say briojio in my opinion, what they do. The best is masks. I think that they are just they're, the bmws porsches audi's of hair masks. Okay, so you get what you pay for, and they are fantastic. Last but certainly not least, we have the maui, moisture, heal and hydrate shea butter hair mask honestly. All of the hair masks from my moisture are so so so lovely they are all curly girl, method, approved, budget friendly and just good. You can't go wrong. Moving on to stylers and i apologize our light keeps changing, it keeps raining and then the sun comes out and then it rains and the sun comes out. So when it comes to stylers for my hair type in particular, i like cream stylers. So i'm not going to be discussing mousses or like gel oil hybrids or things of that nature. I'M just going to focus on creams. You guys have seen on my channel the maui moisture, coconut milk calming cream. This is truly such a lovely and hydrating cream formula that gives really beautiful definition without weighing your hair down. I'Ve actually gotten my mom hooked on this as well, and she is a big big fan. I love that the first ingredient in every single maui moisture product is aloe they're, fantastic products that really work so well for my hair moving on, of course, the natural mothers curl talk cream. This has been my ride or die. I apologize if you are so very sick of hearing me talk about these two products in particular, as my stylers, i try new products but, like i just go back to these, you know these are my ride-or-die babies and then a product that um. I don't talk about quite as much, but i do use from time to time is the shea moisture silicone free miracle, styler leave-in treatment with marshmallow root? This is such a lovely lightweight styler. That really creates beautiful definition in the hair. Key ingredients are sugar, cane extract and meadow foam seed oil. This product is targeted as a leave-in treatment, but i like to use it as a styler. I like the spray pump and it just it, does it it does it for me. Moving on to gels, if you know me, you know, i love a very light. Hold gel the newest gel that i've been really enjoying is the erisos curls light hold gel. It is sulfate free, silicone, free and paraben free. It'S just a really gorgeous lightweight formulation that i really really enjoy and it is a latina owned. Business julissa is the owner and she is just fabulous. She just launched her brand into ulta and i'm so so proud of her so definitely check out her products and then, of course, the not your mother's curl talk. Frizz control, sculpting gel is probably my favorite all-time gel. It is a very flake free formulation. That'S probably the biggest thing i struggle with uh when gels have bad ingredients, it just flakes right out of my hair. These do not now my moisture has a new gel that i've really been enjoying, but i don't think that i've tried it enough to give it that final third spot. So i'm just going to do a one and two spot for the gels today. Moving on to dry shampoos - probably my favorite category, i feel like you - can save any bad hair day with a dry shampoo, so my holy holy grail dry shampoo, is from the brand unwashed really any of their dry shampoos work. This is the curls dry. Cleanser is what they call it, but it is a dry shampoo. They also have just a regular dry cleanser aka dry shampoo, but any of the unwashed brand. I don't know for some reason they just kill the dry shampoo game and they really are my favorite. My next favorite dry shampoo would probably be the pros dry shampoo. This is a very, very unique formulation, um, i'm so sorry, i just realized that all of our dry shampoos are on the higher end. I will say i really like aussie dry shampoos. Um it'd probably be like that would be my fourth place honestly, would be the aussie dry shampoos. They really are so so good um, but my top three are all high-end, so this is from pros and it kind of just poofs out i'll, show you ready here. We go here, we go, it's adorable, obviously aerosol free. It'S a super super natural formulation that just works. It lasts forever because half the can is an air um. So, even though it is on the pricier side, it will last you on eternity. I'M a big big fan, and i also like that it's shorter and not as big as a lot of your typical standard, dry shampoo bottles. My last favorite dry shampoo, is from the brand living proof. It is this living proof classic dry shampoo. It is so so good. I feel like that. Dry shampoo has a cult status and it has it for a reason. It really does the job in such a beautiful way, and i need to buy it again all right. We have one final category and then i have a couple honorable mentions and this last category is oils. I absolutely love hair oils, but i will say that i have a very very hard time. These are really the only three. I think these are the only three oils that work for me: a lot of oils for some reason i don't know why, but they make my hair frizzy. I don't have an answer for you. I don't know um, but these are the three that work for me. So, first up we have the playa ritual hair oil. This has apricot and sunflower oils it's so so rich and luxurious. You get a lot a lot of product in here for the price. I do have to say you get over 1.5 fluid ounces and this is a silicone free oil as well. It is probably my favorite oil, i own honestly, i'm just i'm such a fan. It'S a very weightless oil. It adds the shine it smooths and then it just kind of disappears and dissipates off the hair. It'S it's perfect. It'S really perfect. My next favorite oil, that is tried and true, would be. The briochio rose. Zarko oil. I really really enjoy this oil um. It is a lighter weight oil. It doesn't feel like super super crazy, rich and dense on the hair. The risotto oil contains a mixture of coconut rose, hip and argan oil. If you don't like rose, then the rosarco line would not be for you. Last, but certainly not least, we have the pros rose prose hair oil um. This oil is really really lovely. I actually really like the glass packaging on this and the little dropper. I just think it's smart and makes sense because pros is a custom formulation hairline. I find it kind of silly to describe my formulation, because yours is going to be completely different, but when you do take the quiz, they will formulate what works for you and they really really nailed it for me, especially on this oil. It is like so good to conclude, i have a couple honorable mentions and kind of just like random categories. First and foremost, i have detangler. This is the resource curls, refresh and detangle spray. This is chock full of coconut oil, olive oil and shea butter. If you have a tender head, if you have a child that cries when you brush their hair, this is for you, okay, it's amazing. It has a really nice easy spray applicator. This is sulfate free, silicone, free and paraben free. I find detanglers often have silicones. It'S tricky to find one that doesn't. This is a really great formulation and it is literally the only one i've been using so highly recommend and last but certainly not least, we have the playa endless summer spray. This is so good if you're looking for those like beachy mermaid waves, maybe even if you have strayer, if you add this, i think it would add a little bit of texture to your hair. If you have curly hair, you know it could kind of like bring it down a little if you have coily hair. I actually would not recommend this because it does have some sea salt in it, and i think this would be too drying for your coily hair type. But this is a beautiful, beautiful formulation. If you are looking to get that like kind of messy beachy waves. A lot of the times - i will add this to my hair. It'S called the endless summer. Spray creates soft and tussled texture and that it truly does mochi is coming in for the final hurrah. It'S like. He knew that mom was done. Working say hi to our friends, say: hello, friends, hello! Oh my gosh wait, i'm dead. I have to share something with you guys. Please hold a lot of you, ask how i get mochi's curls, so juicy and plump and hydrated, and i actually do have a dog product for him. It'S from the brand warren london it's on amazon. This is the guava and mangosteen hydrating butter, leave-in conditioner. I don't use a lot on him, but i especially focus it on the top of his hair um, because he's got a little fro going on. It really helps me when i go to detangle his hair um, and then i place it down the back of his spine, because for some reason that hair is really coarse on him. In particular, it smells positively amazing. He always tries to lick it. So it's nice because he doesn't hate it um and yeah. You can find it on amazon i'll link it below. But if you have a poodle or a doodle um, this is amazing. Literally amazing mommy makes your curls juicy. Yeah mommy makes your curls juicy all right. Babes, that is a wrap on today's video. I truly truly hope that you enjoyed it. Thank you so very much for watching. I had so much fun filming this. You don't even know, i feel like not to say i haven't been passionate about hair videos lately, but i just this was the first hair video in a while, where i was like fired up. I was just so excited to have all this in front of me and really dive into it. So if you would like to help some of my other, so if you would like to help some of my fellow friends on here be sure to leave a comment down below saying, like wavy hair and then your favorite hair product. So you could say like wavy, hair and then playa endless summer spray or coily hair, shea moistures strengthen and restore treatment mat, let's all help each other out and see what our favorite products are. Thank you so so very much for watching biggest thank yous again to ritual for sponsoring today's video and, if you made it to the end. First of all, i'm amazed second of all comment down below saying. I cannot believe mochi did that at the end of the video and we'll see we'll see if we can trick some people all right. Thank you so so much for watching until next time, we'll see you soon bye,

Gena Marie: Love this video!! The NYM Shampoo is one of my holy grails too! And I found out it removes hard water build up

IAmNotNicole: How does India not have more subscribers, I do not understand I mean, I guess I like a closer knit community- I love how interactive and open India is with everyone!

Iammyownpicasso: The NYM curl talk line is a go to for me! It works so perfectly for me when I use it for my whole routine I’m also a huge fan of Shea moisture’s coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie, dippity doo’s curl defining cream and their gel, NYMN’s the green bottles shampoo and conditioner (I don’t remember the exact name) and NYMN’s scalp scrub. My hair is mostly 2C with some 3A thrown in

Diana Matienzo: Not that you asked, but the way you described your hair would be fine and thick Fine/coarse refer to the thickness of each individual hair strand, and thin/thick refers to how many hairs you have per square inch. In case that helps ‍♀️❤️

Stitch Lightly: NYM Scalp oil had LONG TERM positive effects for me! My scalp feels clean and has overall improved from using this. Also it was on clearance at my local target recently so I bought like 5 tubes!

Leigh: Wavy hair: I've been loving the Ceremonia Guava Rescue Spray! It's an awesome detangler & it has UV protection. The Endless Summer spray is one of my faves too.

quantumwombat: I have wavy hair and I know everyone thinks it’s overhyped, but Wavetech foam by XMONDO really is that miracle product for me! Miracle products don’t exist, except that one I use it to refresh and it brings back SO much definition!

Kate: Love NYM products but currently my favorite product is the Curlsmith Air Dry Cream and I also love the Verb Ghost Oil Conditioner ➿❤️

Lilly Faulknier: Hi India! I want to thank you for all your videos, from girl talks to hair videos from way back in 2016 when I first started watching! Thank you for being a wonderful women and women of God that so many can look up to here on YouTube!

Barbie7884: As a person with 4 piercings on the left and 2 on the right, do it! I love it! Cartilage piercing takes a lot longer to heal, FYI. Thank you for your list of favs!

Kristin Knight: 2b/c-3a girl here! I love the whole NYM line for definition and volume since I have fine/low density hair. I also like the L’ange thick-it cream for additional volume & their sea salt spray to refresh. And go for the piercings but be ready for your hair to get stuck! I have three in each lobe & my curls get stuck in the third ones all the time!

Phyllis Malone: Loving your videos! I’m a 71 year old newly wavy gal! My grandmotherly advice is 2 wholes in an ear are plenty! that is what you get from an old lady!

LadyKC67: Just a small head’s up: I tried a 3rd piercing on the earlobe and found that it was in a really bad spot. It kept snagging on my towel, my clothes, I could never get it healed. I let it close. A few years later I tried again and it was still a no-go. It could just be me, I mean millions of people have them with no issue but I had another friend have the same experience. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

Sophie Botello: I have wavy/curly hair and I have been absolutely obsessed with the Shea moisture restore breakage product and the Not your mothers curl talk hair mask. I just bought two more not your mothers hair talk products today that I am excited to try after watching this video. Also I have been wanting to get another ear piercing as well so you should definitely do it!

Julie Ann Lumbang: Your channel really helped me begin my curly hair journey! Both my older siblings have silk-like straight hair like my mom. I’m the only one was born with a curl pattern in my hair (got it from my dads side). So growing up I was never really taught how to take care of it properly i really hope I can get my waves/curls back

Lori Stokes Wright: Love your hair videos, my hair is also fine/medium, thick, highly porous, highlighted. I'm 55 and just starting my wavey curly journey. Always had slight wave, mostly frizzy, I think menopause helped bring the curl, lol. Love Mochi's appearance!

Tara Ball: Thank you for all these recommendations!!! My daughter is really struggling finding products that work for her hair!!! And btw...I think you are so inspiring to young women on how to live your life with purity, self respect and love for yourself!!!! I definitely wish this for my teenage daughters!!!! So Thank you!!!!

Morgan Loy: I love the Aveda strengthening leave in treatment and their Curl Jelly line! I have naturally wavy hair and the curl jelly holds curls but give them such a soft touch when dried!!

Heidi Graham: Yes girl! Do it! I just got my conch done on the right and a couple months back I got a double forward helix on the other ear. I LOVE love love them!

Jessica H: YES go the piercings! I have what you described plus a forward helix and auricle (which is like a mid helix). I didn't find the helix piercing all that painful. God for it girl!!

Gabby Vargas: Literally found you a few months ago because I'm a wavy girl looking for great hair videos . My hair is thick and dry and course naturally and its golden blonde dyed without bleach . I stay away from bleach cause my hair almost fell out so my hair lady learned out to do it without bleach . Anyway I depend on your hair videos for everything especially preserving whats left of my waves . I don't use heat as much anymore probably only once every 2 months. Also I love seeing Mochi's face in videos as much as I love seeing yours . Much love from Lake Wales Florida ❤

Hnd BKB: Go for the piercing!! I had last year a third in the lobe and A ROOK it's so cute but take months to heal completely..

Bella Styles: I have wavy/curly hair that’s a range of 2b-3a textures with a of couple 3b curls once in a while. For shampoo I love to use the Bounce Curl Gentle Clarifying Shampoo and for my conditioner I alternate between the Bounce Curl Super Smooth Cream Conditioner and the Ayurvedic Deep Conditioner. Then for my stylers I first apply the Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave in Conditioner and follow up with the Innersense I Create Volume Volumizing Lotion. These products were all total game changers for me and they are all my go to products. Also I can’t believe Mochi did that at the end! I know you probably didn’t think it was very funny in the moment but it was so cute to watch!

greeneyes❤: I wish I had seen this earlier! Last week I was in Ulta for the first time in forever and had no clue what to get lol I'm glad I ended up getting the curl talk scalp care oil. I'll be looking out for sun bum, maui moisture, and shea moisture products next!

Breleigh Adams: Girl you neeeed to try Design Essentials!!!!! I love their Almond Avacodo Moose and curl forming custard they are my go too not too pricey but I love them chefs kiss nobody ever talks about them and they deserve the recognition

Amy Sperry: Yes to piercing! I would do it to except I have my grandmother’s giant ears!! The Shea moisture yogurt mask has done wonders to bring back my curly hair!

Laura Bonengel: I have between 2c and 3a hair, and that maui moisture hibiscus water conditioner is my holy grail right now! I've repurchased it probably around 10 times and I just love it. I'm testing out new conditioners currently (the xmondo repair conditioner is REALLY GOOD), but I will always go back to that maui moisture one, it is amazing.

Laila Dinger: Definitely get the helix:) I recently just got mine done and I absolutely love it! I’m glad I only got one ear done though (at least for now) but anywayyy it would look great on you! All I have to say is make sure you stay faithful in cleaning it throughout the day<3

Kayla Blanton: You can tell Mochi really loves his Mama! I can't believe Mochi did that at the end of the video! How lucky is he that his Mama knows about curls! He can look fab always!

Sarah Kirk: Yes to the piercings!! I have a similar set-up and love them! Thanks for this vid, new to embracing my natural hair - I have very fine low density & low porosity hair so this is quite helpful :)

Sara J Shireman: I can’t believe what Mochi did at the end of the video! Just before COVID lockdowns, I got a helix piercing. It’s so pretty. My favorite curly/wavy product: Jessicurl Spiralicious Styling Gel. Oh, and Cake’s The Curl Friend Totally to Die for Defining Curl Cream!

Celeste Jasmine: Personally I tried the exact Maui moisture and it felt like it dried my hair out a lil and I have very similar hair

nobody toyou: Yesss to the ear piercings!!! Also i tried the not your mothers shampoo on my 2c-3a curls and lovedddd ittt! Its the first shampoo ive tried in a year that I like.

Rizos Curls: Thank you so much for including us! We truly appreciate all the love & support.

JK Schnik: I have wavy hair. Love the NYM curl cream. I use NYM Beach Babe Sea Salt spray. It does just what it says gives me beachy waves. And the piercing will be cute if you get them

Jennea Schwenke: My favorite curly/wavy hair products are from Kerotin Haircare and Maison 276. They are curly girl friendly, cruelty free and around the mid range price. I think you should definitely get the piercings! I can’t believe Mochi did that!!!

: i can't believe mochi did that! I love him he is so cute LOL...i like the longer videos and your excitement for recording this one really shines through! Prose is one of my favorite brands too, my custom oil blend by them is also soo good!! I would have been curious to see what oils they put in yours :)

Amanda Foster: I love the NYM Naturals Tahitian Gardenia and Mango Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. I've tried the Curl Talk Refresh Foam, but it made my hair feel rough if I used it too much (my coarse waves don't like protein very much). But I am hooked on Curlsmith - especially the In-Shower Style Fixer Gel and Bond Curl Rehab Salve.

Evette Tetu: Wavy - Briogio Banana Conditioner (is beautiful but I gotta find a dupe because it is $). Funny enough, I got a "Daith" piercing over the weekend. I think the extra piercings would look gorgeous!

Amelie Turcotte: Damn just went to Ulta today after watching countless videos of deep conditioners yesterday trying to find the best one ‍♀️ Oh well, at least I only got samples sizes. Thank you for making this! Great info! Try out the piercings... If you don't like them, at least it's not too noticeable on your ear without earings.

Shannon Sensibaugh: Yay! Thank you for doing another hair product video - this is why I started watching your channel Also, link your window drapes, please!!!

Cristina: Low density, 3a/3b with mix of thin to course strands Shampoo: Prose Conditioner: my last fav was DevaCurl Original, haven’t found a new fav since I quit Deva Curl over a year ago Cowash: Curlsmith (orange line) Leave-In: no favorite yet Gel: LOVE the Curlsmith Hydro Flexi Gel (blue line). Good hold with no crunch, good volume. The most satisfied I’ve been with a gel since I quit Deva (I really do miss their Arc Angel gel)

Danielle Hodgson: This video was so good for me to watch!! And I loved the Not Your Mothers products you recommended and I love Mochi too Wavy hair: Not Your Mothers products always!!!

Liz Shoemaker: Hiya India! Could you make a video showing us how you sleep in styled hair and then how you refresh your curls the next day? I’d greatly appreciate it

Jillian Phillips: Wavy/curly hair: Shea Moisture 100% virgin coconut oil conditioner!!!!

S Brown: Ear piercing go for it!!! I did it earlier this year and it definitely upped my ear jewelry aesthetic

Gravincas: Wavy coarse hair here. I like Camille rose naturals ginger cleanser, honest beauty's revitalizing conditioner, Camille rose naturals jansyns moisture max conditioner mask, oyin handmade ginger mint cowash, noughty leave in, not your mother's curl cream, and herbal essences totally twisted mousse. This looks the best initially but doesn't last super long because of how heavy my hair is I need a gel. Jessicurl spiralicious and uncle funkys daughter curly hair magic gel works for me. I'm probably going to be the only one to say don't do the earrings lol. I just don't use mine anymore. They get caught in my hair, plus I just don't go anywhere that I'd wear earrings for. But if you do then do it. Don't let us influence you.

Kiana Jens: Yes I have 2 piercings on one side and 3 on the other. I love it! If I did it again tho I’d do 2 and 4 because it’s hard to get earrings for an odd number of piercings. I always end up with an earring I never use.

Mandi Wolfe: Vitabrid C12 scalp shampoo is my holy grail scalp cleanser for my curls! Nothing else I've ever tried in my 40+ years has ever come close. Will absolutely repurchase for the rest of my life. Seriously, it's THAT GOOD

M999: Would you ever try the Oribe line? And do a review for us? ☺️

Kayleigh Saunders: I know what I’m replacing some of my empties with now! My wavy hair loves the NYM curl cream ☺️ Btw I cannot believe what Mochi did at the end of the video

Natalie D.: Would you say the NYM scalp cleansing oil serves as a co-wash product or a clarifier? It seems amazing but I'm confused how to incorporate into my wash routine

Grace B: I cannot believe mochi did that! 3B-3C hair here-briogeo mango cherry shampoo and be gentle be kind kale and apple conditioner I also loooove the briogeo scalp revival charcoal and tea tree scalp serum I'm constantly testing out styling products Cuz my scalp is sensitive and my hair is easily weighed down :P

Marybeth Ramirez: Curly Hair For tight curls- Rizos Curls Loose Curls- NYM Curl Talk Love you India! ❤️

Beverly O'Malley: I’m sure you’ve probably answered this before but I’m new and was wondering, What’s the difference between stylers and gels? So you use them one after the other on the same day or one one time and the other another time?

Jacqueline Campbell: I have I think the exact same ear piercings you’re considering. I have three on each ear and one cartilage at the top on my left ear. I like being able to be creative and wear different amounts on the bottom (sometimes like a 1-2-3 increasing size of pearls or hoops or something and sometimes all different studs, etc, in whatever number of my piercings in the lobes) and then a cute stud or crawler or hoop etc in the cartilage. Had that combo since my freshman year of collage (about 10 years) and have always loved it! Sometimes I like how it lets me feel all classy and bejeweled and sometimes I feel super edgy. I say go for it!

Beautiful Mariah: Wavy/curly I don’t think I have just ONE PRODUCT I could choose so I’ll say several As I am coconut co wash Maui moisture hibiscus conditioner Mielle pomegranate and honey leave in conditioner Maui moisture mousse/foam

Footsiesgirl: Do it, with the piercings. I have had my left Daith pierced for headaches and it has been a saving Grace. My son’s girlfriend got the piercing that is above her double piercings and it looks so delicate! I do have to put my foot down when it comes to gauging, just saying this big loops is not sexy on anyone♥️ Waves and curl and still trying to figure it out! It always looks stringy. Boo I can’t believe Moji did that! I hope I spelled that handsome fur babies name correctly! I am actually looking for a Moji, doodle, or schmoodle to be a military service dog, but no luck with finding one that the the Non-profit providing me this service has found! I have very bad allergies, but very bad Personal Trauma PTSD. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Any advice with my hair would be welcomed most graciously! I do have the Curly Girl Book, it’s like a chemistry class♥️♥️♥️♥️

Emily: Yes, do the earrings! And maybe film the experience for us? I love piercing content for some reason haha. Love you!

Jane Billeter: Thank you so much for the video...I have very thick, frizzy 3a hair and faves are Eva NYC 10 in one Primer Spray, NYM Curl talk cream, and Biotera alcohol free gel for days I need glycerin. For non glycerin days, I use the Eva NYC primer, then Eva NYC curl cream or Jessicurl Rockin' Ringlets and then ALWAYS Jessicurl Spiralicious gel. Jessicurl is the absolute best brand for days that I need to be humectant free.

Kayleigh Lafollette: You should try out the Cake beauty hair oil. It's called the soft touch. Smells amazing adds shine and doesn't weigh down my waves!

Nathalia Torres: The underneath of my hair cannot hold a curl or a wave for the life of me. While the top waves perfectly, i don’t what to do, btw yes you should definitely get the piercings! (Tho i have 14 piercings so i may be a bit biased hahaha)

Becky Boos: About the piercings, I got mine done a couple years ago a lobe and cartilage in the same ear the cartilage one can take up to a year to properly heal, so be prepared to have a titanium basic earring for that long, also you don’t want to be sleeping on the ear so if you sleep on your right side or back it’s fine but if you sleep on your left side (like me) you may have to sleep with a body neck pillow to stop you rolling on that side in your sleep. That being said totally would recommend getting them slow to heal but look amazing now I love them.

Star 123: Aww I liked Mochi’s photobomb moment! So sweet

Kayleigh Saunders: Could you tell us how to accept the frizz in curly/wavy hair? Growing up my mom did not like my wavy hair and especially the frizz. I always felt like I needed to fight it, but lately I’ve really wanted to boost the volume in my hair and that tends to have fizziness and I’m struggling trying to not fight it.

noraeldin: Wavy hair- pillow soft curls and totally twisted mousse

Angela Crowder: Hi India, I absolutely enjoyed your video! Thank you so much! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Keri: Wavy- ecoslay orange marmalade. It’s one product that never fails me

Morgan Veller: Yes to the ear piercings I think it would look so pretty with your big voluminous hair or slicked back like it is now!!!

Jc Morton: i have 3 piercings on each ear, love it! go for it girl!

Anna: Great video! Have you ever tried the alaffia beautiful curls line? I really like their products and would be curious to see what you think.

Tara Werner: Yes girl! Get those piercings! I feel like such a bad booty babe with my two helix piercings haha

Lily Y.: What wavy hair products would you suggest for colored, frizzy, dry, coarse hair?

Elizabeth Carroll: This is really random, but if tangle teezer sponsors another video, I think you should compare their different brushes, like the original, the red thick and curly one, and the one you already own. And/or a wet brush vs tangle teezer comparison!

Eve Hughey: PROSE TILL I DIE! also, dry shampoo for brunettes and darker: batiste in divine dark! saves every off hair day!

Sophieskala: Yes, to the more ear piercings. I'm wanting the same. This Georgia rain has been crazy right?

Raynah Woolsey: I cannot believe Mochi did that at the end of the video ! I say go for the piercings too. Been debating on a new piercings myself and I think I’m just going to go for it.

Frances Mccarthy: I can't believe Moji did that at the end! I used to use Redken wind up or redken curvaceous curl cream with Redken Guts mouse mixed but have experienced a lot of hair loss the past year and a half and so now my 2b,2c, 3A hair is thin instead of super thick and I am struggling to find a great product{s} Redken wind up is no longer available. I used to perm my hair get control of the uncontrollable wave and curl because I liked to be able to have every day a good hair day. Yet, because of hair loss not perming . Thanks for all th recommendations.

Froggy: India get the piercings, you sold me on it. I have a Miniature Goldendoodle and he is currently rocking a fro as well. I can't believe Mochi (sorry if I didn't spell the doggo's name right) did that! Also I didn't see Mochi's hair product below.

Samantha Gruwell: I have 4 on my left ear. Graduate 3 up.... 1 on top. The top earrings have to be screw on backed or locking... my hair causes backs to pop off. I've had these for yrs. Love the 3 graduation on both ears.

April Alfaro: Wavy hair: NYM Curl Talk gel and been absolutely LOVING the Rizos Curls line

Rebecca11287: Wavy hair: Playa hair oil smells amazing. Kind of minty. Maui Moisture also makes a great gel and BOUNCE CURL cream is fantastic.

Bethany Hutchinson: Wavy hair: Curlsmith air Dry cream and Marc Anthony Strictly Curls mousse. :)

Vanessa Dodd: Defenitly go for the piercings! Yolo plus I can picture it, im feeling the dainty vibes

angelalovescats: India! I feel like a ‘flat piercing’ and a ‘rook piercing’ plus a ‘mid-ear helix piercing’ would look super cute on you then we’d be twins Ooo also a ‘conch piercing’ would look cute on you

Kate McCoy: Hi India! I've been watching for a long time but this is my first comment. Do you ever use Deva Curl anymore? I started using it when I first started watching you and then the big lawsuit made me nervous. I started using Davines Love instead but I don't think it works as well as Deva. Thinking about trying Deva out again. Would love your thoughts!

O: 2c/3a - My holy grail product is OGX Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream

K MacC: YES, do it with the piercings!!! That would look FIRE for you!

Linette Arroyo: I have yet to try the Not Your Mother’s Shampoo, but thanks to you, I’m going to now.

DollyJohanne: Thank you for sharing! Love this! Love and blessings from Johanne, Norway Ps I can’t believe Motchy (wrong spelled) did that

Gabby Lillico: Hey India, what other curly influencers do you recommend following? I currently follow you, spisha, penny tovar, and bianca renee today.

Frances Keller: Yooooo India, I have been trying to find that sunbum detox shampoo and I just cannot find it at target or ulta! Ps. That ear piercing look is

Maureen Vos: I would suggest you look into fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.

Madalina: Love you, sweet friend! You rock and this vlog was amazing....just like you! Also, I cannot believe Mochi did that at the end of the video! ;)

Karen Moore: I can not believe Mochie did that. I struggle with finding a product for my hair. It’s curly but super fine and thin. So I have zero volume so when I add certain products, it weighs my hair and I also look like I have bald spots. So, to light and I look like a poof ball but to heavy and I look bald….. HELP. I don’t mind paying the money if it works. I don’t want to spend it something that doesn’t work and I can’t return.

Savanah Wright: Wavy/curly hair, Prose shampoo and Conditioner, Curlsmith styler!

Linda Vox: Maybe you should look into fast hair growth fortified shampoo.

naseebah: Yes gurl you should get more ear piercings! I think you would look great in them! I’m excited for you good luck! ❤️

Misha Rosas: I think the 4 earrings would be cool

Jazzie Bezzie: You should do your earring idea :) it would look good on you! <3 Love you Indiaaa, you are awesome ^^
