Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back for a new, exciting video if you're new here my name is glory and in today's video, as you can see by the title today, i'm going to be showing you guys how i like to use olaplex on My curly hair i've been using olaplex for a very long time. It'S helped me maintain the color that i have and i've been getting a lot of questions about how i use it in my routine. So i decided i'd just sit down with you guys and show you exactly how i use it before we go ahead and get started if you like curly hair videos, make sure to subscribe to my channel. Also follow me on all of my social handles. I will go ahead and leave them here and let's go ahead and get right into this video i've been using olaplex for about four years. Now, more so in the past two to three years me being a very light blonde. What olaplex basically does is it repairs, damaged and broken bonds in the hair? That'S caused typically by mechanical damage, thermal damage and chemical damage as well. Basically long story short. It uses this active ingredient to repair the default side. Bonds in the hair, disulfide bonds can usually break by chemical damage. Thermal damage, uv rays, there's so many ways that the disulfide bonds can actually become damaged. Olaplex basically keeps the hair strong and helps prevent any future damage. It helps to keep the hair looking shiny, healthy, softens it and strengthens as well. If you typically chemically process your hair, if you color it, if you use heat olaplex, would be amazing for you to use. I'Ve honestly felt like in the past four years that i've been using olaplex. It has helped me immensely with the health of my hair honestly being a blonde. It is so high maintenance and olaplex makes it so much easier for me to keep my hair nice and strong. So i'm gon na go ahead and show you guys what products i have. So, as you guys know, i am a licensed cosmetologist. I do have the olaplex traveling stylist kit, which does contain the number one one has honestly saved my hair so much this actually mixes in with the lightener to prevent damage when lightening your hair. It'S amazing! I always mix this in with my lightener without fail, and i also have the number two which is like the number three. This is typically used after shampooing the lightener or rinsing any color from the hair. I always reach for this. When i do my roots. Every three months next, i actually have the number three. This is one that a lot of credit girls use. This number three is not a deep conditioner. It is not a protein treatment. This is a bond building treatment. It protects hair structure, repairs, damage and also helps with the visible appearance of your hair. It makes your hair just look visibly healthier and the number three it says to use one time per week for damaged hair two to three times per week. This summer, i've actually been using it about twice a week um, even if i co-wash, i will go ahead and use this uh just because i feel like my hair needs something extra to help strengthen it. It says: leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes longer. If desired, i typically leave it on for about 30 to 40 minutes, and if i have the time - and i don't have anything to do the next day - i'll go ahead and actually leave it in overnight, and i find that i get the best results like that. So yeah don't shampoo. After using this, i actually just go right in with a deep conditioner, deep condition, my hair and then um style as usual. So this one you can purchase online at oldplex.com and you can also get it. I believe at sephora i bought mine at my local cosmetology store, and i want to say that this video is not sponsored whatsoever. I actually was gifted some new products from oliplex um. They did send me the number three again, but i do have two already. So i'm gon na go ahead and use the ones that i already have. They also sent me the number six bond smoother, which this is a styling cream. Like i said this, video is not sponsored at all, but i do want to thank olaplex so much for sending me these products to try out for you guys and yeah. Let'S go ahead and begin so my hair is freshly washed. This is my hair, and this is what we are working with today. So the first thing i'm going to go ahead and do is i'm actually going to section my hair off, because i really like to make sure that i saturate my hair completely with the product and i don't miss any spots. Okay, now that my hair is separated, i'm going to go ahead and apply the number three throughout my hair. This is what it looks like and i'm actually gon na use a pretty decent amount. So i took that amount, and i'm just gon na apply that throughout this piece right here and i like to do the twist method that i use while i'm deep conditioning while i do this treatment as well, i really want to get the big bottle because i Feel like this bottle runs out for me so fast, and it has like a nice very subtle, floral smell, which i really like it is not so overwhelming. I do wish it was a bit more enhanced, but this is perfect for someone who is very sensitive to fragrance. This is perfect. So now all the twists are done. I'M gon na go ahead and leave this on my hair for about 30 to 40 minutes, and then i'm gon na go ahead and wash it out and then deep condition. I don't think i'm gon na film me deep conditioning, but my hair does need some protein. So i'm gon na go in with my jamaican black, castor oil mask from sheer moisture and just apply it on my hair guys. So i'm back, i went ahead and washed that out. Then i deep conditioned with my jamaican black castor oil mask now. I'M ready to go ahead and style, so i went ahead and separated my hair in three parts. Now i'm gon na go ahead and try the number six bond smoother, which is a leave-in says, apply a very small amount to damp or dry hair, concentrating products on mid length to ends comb through and style as desired. So i'm the type of person you guys already know i like a leave-in cream and a gel um, but i'm gon na use this styling cream and pair it with one of my gels. So i'm gon na see which one mixes well with the with this. But let's see how the consistency is. Oh, look. It'S actually pretty thick. I'M surprised. I thought it was gon na be like the consistency of the number three, but it is actually much thicker. Oh yeah. This is like a cream. I really like how that feels. In my hair, it's not too thick um, but i can tell it can give me some definition. It has like a fruity smell. I thought maybe it would be floral like that one, but that's really nice, i'm gon na be using my denman brush to style. My hair, so far so good guys looks pretty good. I'M trying not to be so heavy-handed, but i feel like i need it a little bit more. I feel like. Sometimes you can really feel how your hair is responding to a product, and i feel, like my hair, is responding pretty well to this cream. I feel like it likes it. It'S just feeling really nice, so i just got done using the number six. All throughout my hair use a pretty generous amount. I wasn't super heavy-handed, but i just couldn't help myself. I really liked the way this feel felt in my hair. I really love that fruity smell um. Overall, i'm very surprised - and i really like this - i can't wait to see what the finished results look like, because it may look and feel good, but it depends on how it looks when it's dry, i'm gon na go ahead and use a gel and then i'm Gon na diffuse, my hair with my dyson, i'm very hopeful that this is going to give me grades. Some bomb results so i'll be back once my hair is diffused. Okay, you guys so i'm back. I just went ahead and diffused my hair with my dyson blow. Dryer - and i know you guys - can see my hair look at these curls. Look at this like wow. My hair is still a bit damp, but it took me about the same time as usual to dry my hair with the dyson. It does say that it minimizes drying time, but honestly it didn't minimize it. For me, you can tell this is a great hair day. My hair. After doing all these treatments look so good, i feel like it really soaked up the number six leave-in just felt super slippery. It felt great on my hair. I feel like it defined my hair really nicely. I did actually add my wet line. Extreme gel. I was going to use my eco styler gel, but when i mix the two together on my palm, they actually came out kind of clumpy together. So i just went ahead with my wet line, although i really like the styling cream, i would not use it by itself. I do feel like my hair has hold, but not as much as i would normally like, so i would probably reach for it as a leave-in and then use a cream and then a gel. But overall i really like my results. I really like how my hair looks. It looks really good on day one very defined. Let me go ahead and zoom in for you guys, so you guys can see exactly how it's looking like look there's a little bit of frizz. I don't mind that it's a hot day um, but overall really good. Next, i'm going to use the number seven bonding oil that i received from olaplex this. It says it boosts shine, strengthens and repairs who has heat protection and it has uv protection, which is great. You don't find many products that have uv protection, so this is probably going to end up being something i'm going to keep in my routine. Let me go ahead and just just do it kind of like this and i'm just gon na rub this in my hands and just kind of go over my hair lightly. Oh i lied it actually has once i rubbed it. I guess i could smell it. It has the same smell as the number six that tropical smell. I really like that. Oh my hair does look pretty shiny. I don't know if you guys can tell on camera, but it actually looks pretty nice so overall guys. This is what oldplex does for me and these new products i'm very surprised and happy by how they performed. Thank you so much to olaplex for sending me the number three six and seven to try out for you guys. But if you like this video and you found it very helpful, go ahead and give me a big thumbs up subscribe to my channel as well also turn on the notifications. So you know when i post my next video love. You guys, and i will see you in the next one

Rhonda Denis: Just bleached and toned my hair Olaplex step 3 And Finola no orange have my hair feeling amazing. Then the next day I did a 2 step Aphogee protein treatment. My hair feels Amazing. All my curls are intact. I had hardly any tangle and fallout. Practically non. I’m so happy to have blonde hair that feels so strong.

tyler2813: I’m loving this blonde a lot more than the ash blonde! Both look great but this one looks amazing on your skin tone!

Aaliyah Gomes: I saw your photo on Pinterest and it inspired me to bleach my hair and cut bangs, I love the way it looks but the bleach diminished my volume so I'm honestly gonna give this a try

Y I C: thank you for this video!! super informative. love the results it gives your hairs

Lily T: The blonde looks amazing on you!

Ciliegina Torta: I bleached my hair 2 times and I have noticed my hair porosity is becoming even more lower than it was . Anyone else experienced this ?

Yara R-Silva: YOUR HAIR IS AMAZINGGGGG OMG those curls !!!

Vidalia Valentino: Love everything about this! Also you mind sharing what kind of brush you’re using? (The teal one) looks amazing for detangling, need that in my life lol

Mary Kohler: Olaplex is a great product I use it but I find it's very unfair that they want to only sell 01 and 02 for salon use only People do bleach their own hair at home and for olaplex being such a pricey product they should at least allow all products be sold Nothing like biting the hand that feeds them

Webworm: Hello! Where’d you get your hair dyed/what did you use to bleach it? And since I see a lot of bleach hair coming out yellow do you recommend a certain toner?

Mckayla Morales: Omg you look so good with that blonde!! I gasped when the hair came down!

Dorothy Lisbon: You should research fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.

Star 123: The Olaplex No 6 has silicones which aren’t bad IMO but for the strict CGM folks that’s a consider. I’m pretty sure the other Olaplex products are silicone free.

Mia Pia: So can I use this to keep my curly red hair healthy ?

Tasha: Just wondering, I don’t think you follow the CGM but it seems li you mostly use cg friendly products. Don’t these contain sufates and silicones?

TrinaMarie ASMR: .hey boo How long did it take you to get all the way blonde?

Happy2bNappy: Your hair turned out beautiful but my question is what lipstick are you wearing???

BeautyxChrissy: So when you use this, if i heard correctly you said you use this for 30-40 min or overnight and then you add your deep conditioner in it. does that mean you dont wash it out and after the 40 min you add the deep conditioner and leave it in over night? or you style your hair with a deep conditioner?

Nayy: After you wash out the #3 did u shampoo and condition? or you just din't and just went straight and used the deep conditioning and style ? If i decide to use #3 once q week and can also deep condition and use the #4 #5 and #6 and #7 ???

Pretty Livie’s Beauty: My curls are gone!!!! I’ve tried amika hair repair the Kure for 3 weeks and it did nothing. Yesterday I did olaplex 1/2 and used 3 overnight. And my curls still don’t curl. I don’t know what to do. I shaved my head last year and I don’t want to do that again. My cosmetology school messed up my hair what else can I do?!?!?
