Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm showing you my curly hair routine, and this is because I've seen a lot of comments asking me to do this. Video like an updated version, because I did film what I want to say a year ago, very similar technique. It'S just a little bit different. Now that obviously I have shorter hair and with shorter hair, it does tend to be a little bit more of a pouf. So it's all about learning how to control that, although I'm not going to lie, I love big hair, so the bigger hair, the better for me and obviously with curly hair, the curls do relax throughout the day and they become a little bit more flat. So the bigger to start the better so before we get into the routine, I want to make sure you guys are subscribed to my channel. Oh one, more disclaimer. I just want to put it out there that this is obviously going to work the best if you have naturally curly hair. If you find me, you have a little bit of a wave to your hair, you can still totally do the same technique. Just expect less curl all right, let's go okay, so I like to start off with towel-dried hair, and I usually do my makeup first, giving it some time to dry and then I start the process off by brushing through my damp hair, to make sure there's no Tangles and then I start off with this curl defining cream from dippity-do. Do you guys remember the old school, pink, dippity-do gel? That was like my go-to. That was also a very long time ago. I'Ve tried many different gel sets, but this is the one I'm currently using and it works pretty well and it's cheap. So I just take some and brush it throughout the whole head with my fingers, and then I take some more flip, my head over and brush it through my hair again making sure I've got all the hair saturated and then I just start to scrunch and by Doing this, it's pretty much like you're, activating the curl and working the product in once. It'S all done. I feel like I've used enough product I'll flip, my head back over and it's time for the blow dryer and I bought this Revlon travel blow dryer a few years ago. While I was away - and it hasn't shorted out on me yet like a lot of others do so - this is what I'm currently using it works pretty well, and I just make sure to take the normal nozzle off and apply a diffuser. This is key when you're blow-drying curly hair, if you don't have one, you need to get one, and then I just flip my head back over it just works better. That way. Trust me you'll have more volume and I just start by moving the diffuser up into the hair and scrunching at the same time, and once the hair is almost dry I'll, flip my hair back and do the same thing. But this time my hair is parted. The way it's going to be styled - and I use the blow dryer again - to give it some more volume. Now, I'm using the bumble and bumble BB texture and this product just gives the curl a little more definition. I don't use this product every time. I do this routine only when I think my curls need a little more light, so I just take a little product and scrunch that in and it's actually a really sticky product. So I like to mix a little bit with water and continue to work that in and because curly hair is always unpredictable like it really does come out different every time I just like to go in with a curling wand and I'm using the smallest barrel from The nume Titan 3 and I just take small strands and run the one throughout it, giving the curl a little extra definition and making the curls look a little more uniform. I don't do the whole head. I just focus on the curls that need it, which is usually a few on each side and one or two in the back all right now that that's done if the curls are looking too tight I'll, take the blow dryer again and loosen them up and then They'Re almost done - and you could totally stop here, but I love using the Oribe dry texturizing spray. As my finishing touch, I spray a little at the root and midsection and then shake it all up with my hands. It just helps to relax the curls and add a little extra volume and it smells very good by the way and that's how I style my curly hair, give the video a thumbs up.
