Hey guys, so I'm back with a wash date, video. I wanted to show you guys how I style my hair with Ag hair recoil, and I figured that it would be the perfect opportunity to show you guys, basically, a full one brand wash day. So I use the AG hair balance shampoo. Oh my gosh. This is like horrible lighting for it so aging hair balance. Shampoo. Did you hear boost conditioner? I do have a tiny size of the aging hair Coco, which I actually do really like. It'S a very lightweight leavin, it's called a conditioning milk and basically it's awesome for really dry hair. It also has a bit of protein, which I do usually need, and this is the only styler that I use today, so it's described as a curl activator on the bottle. But to me it's more like a clean, gel kind of similar to the consistency of like Spiral Isha's with less hold, although, as you can see, I got a ton of definition and I think I may have used just a tiny bit too much, but I helped Internal volume, it does have a bit of protein in it and it's really moisturizing, so it makes my hair really pop. This was actually my first time using it by itself. I'Ve used it before in conjunction with a different gel, but by itself it was actually awesome. So this is what the bottle looks like, so I just wanted to show you guys how I used it and how easy it is to get these results, and she goes. Oh, my hair looks like it does, have a ton of movement and it does have a lot of volume. I actually had to put my hair up, because I took my daughter to a Mommy & Me class, so my hair has been dry now for like three hours and it was also in a puff puff for one of those hours, so not bad for one styler. If you guys keep watching you'll, see exactly how I got this look, alright guys, so I'm just making sure my hair is all wet and I'm taking the AG here, Balance shampoo and just making sure that my scalp is very clean. This is a more clarifying shampoo than the ones I have very similar to something like diva, curls, buildup buster, except for its not as runny, and now I'm using the boost conditioner just running it through the ends of my hair and about halfway down my head, because I do have very short layers and I'm gon na use a wet brush, and this is a curl one, but I think it's been discontinued, I'm just gon na start from the bottom and work my way up. I do find that with the brush. It'S a little bit quicker. I do have a lot of hair and finger detangling just takes way too long for me, and I know that that's taking the lazy way out and brushes are like frowned upon, but you know you do what you have to do so once I make sure that My hair is completely detangled. I will start brushing the conditioner through just to make sure that it's completely saturated and then I will rinse some of it out just to make sure that it doesn't weigh down my hair and I'm just removing the shed hairs because ill here we go guys. So I'm going to be using the AG hair Coco leave-in. This is the conditioning milk. It does have protein in it great for structure and really moisturizing and lightweight. I love this leave-in. I do use it under a lot of my stylers and I've found that it gives me great results. It also smells like a delicious sugar cookie or like a snickerdoodle, something sweet and delicious and who doesn't love a great scent and it also kind of lingers. Just the tiniest bit and after I rate that in I'm going in with the AG hair recoil, which, as you can see, I'm using a ton - and I did use a little too much product this day. Although I found that it gave my hair great structure and volume, I do find that it felt a little bit greasy by like day two and three so use a little bit less than me, especially if you have finer hair. But this is a great styler. I did use it on its own and it to me it's like a cream gel, very serum, like it's very lightweight. It has protein in it and is super moisturizing and, as you can see, I'm adding more just to make sure that my hair feels producti. But I'm really making sure to coat all of my hair and really scrunch it in. As you can see, my hair is already clumping together, so once your hair is thoroughly saturated. I make sure that I put my hair in a microfiber towel like saying hmm, and once I take it out of the microfiber cap, I will squeeze out a lot of the water with a flower sack towel, and this will just make sure to get any of The excess water out before I diffuse and as you can see in this video, I'm diffusing for about 12,000 years, because I really wanted to make sure that I got like the full look of this product by itself, because I I have used this with other gels. But I've never used it on its own and I kind of wanted to give it a good chance. So I did defuse my hair from wet to dry this day with just a little bit of air drying. While I was doing my makeup I feel like I should have taken a lot of the water out before I applied for product, because I find that this kept in a lot of the water in my hair. So it took me a really long time to diffuse. It usually doesn't take me this long and I also added more product. So again, if you have finer hair or if you have less hair than I do, don't use as much as I did. I use a ton of product and, although it didn't weigh my hair down, it did feel a little bit product deep and I'm just using the technique called semester's, which is basically just adding more product in about 50 % when you're dry, and once I did that. I did diffuse for a little bit longer and then I did my makeup and that was like. Obviously I was air drying during that time and, as you can see, my clumps stay together really well, I didn't have a ton of frizz, with the small exception of like the top of my hair, which is where I usually get more frizz, and it's where, like My hair is the coarsest I feel like and again I'm just diffusing for a million years no big deal. But if you guys want to see a more detailed, defusing video, you can check back to one of my videos where I dedicated it completely to defusing and I'm just going to skip through and show you guys what it looked like after. I did my makeup. So now after air drying, while I was doing my makeup as you can see, my hair is still not completely dry and I think that it was my fault for not taking out a lot of the water before I added more product in and even started diffusing. But as you can see, my clump stay together really well, and I had a lot of definition and my hair was huge, as you can see the more I finish drying, the more it just gets, bigger and bigger. But I was super annoyed by this point because it was taking forever for it to dry. So I just started kind of like diffusing in the roots and fluffing it up breaking a little bit the cast, and now I'm fluffing my hair and smoothing out the cast, because I did find that I had a bit of a cast with this product and, as You can see it was huge voluminous, fluffy and still super defined and clumpy. I love this gel and after placing my hair, exactly where I wanted it to go, I was just kind of fluffing the roots up a bit and making sure that I was placing it exactly where I wanted it and you can see how clumpy my hair was And huge, thank you guys so much for watching my video. I hope you guys learn something enjoyed it and please leave comments down below. If you have any questions, I will see you guys next time.

Judy Kenny: Also my stylist recommends using this on damp hair I tried it and it works!

Psychicdiva: You have gorgeous hair! Working on curl training. Thank you for this.

Jay F: Hi Irene, how often do you apply this styler? Do I do it every day, the days I want it to be super curly, or does it have a lasting effect?

Myrna Thiessen: The diffusing struggle for me is real too!!! Your hair looks amazing!!! Thank You for this vid!! Loved it!!

Shauna Ferguson: I've been loving the ag natural line! May have to try recoil at some point!

Miriam Stevens: Diffusing from wet is always a struggle for me too and sometimes unavoidable but if it works ‍♀️. Your hair looked lovely so I am going to give this product a try. Thank you

Sandy Moyer: Love your hair!!!! I just received this in my Amazon order today... can't wait to try it!

Star 123: You look great! Question: I know you wanted to show this styling product’s effectiveness by itself for your viewers but if you were just styling with it for yourself what would you pair with it? I already have this product but I haven’t tried it yet. I have high porosity hair that frizzes up easily. So, mainly need moisture, definition, and help curl clumping.

Mary Marshall: Your hair looks awesome!! I have real thick, coarse hair and takes forever to diffuse. I feel your pain

Summer So: I am a slightly wavy hair kind of girl, probably 2A, I like the way you say your hair gets bigger and bigger I love the fact that you embrace your beauty so much, you inspired me to find a way to work with my 2A hair peace and love ✌

Cambria Harris: I find my hair is so thick that I have to apply product in layers. It gives a more defined look but little volume (at least on day 1). It's interesting to watch you put product without applying in layers and still getting great results...have you tried applying products in layers? Curious if you have and if this video is the way you prefer to apply product on the regular. Also how do you know you have coated all your hair with product (even the inside). I saw you flip from side to side but I find that still doesn't give my hair in the middle product...great video btw and you and your curls are beautiful

kesia1763: Your hair looks amazing. I have very long hair & thinking of twisting damp & putting in a bun over night with the AG...be interesting how it turns out...hopefully with a lot of body like yours:) Thank you for the vid!

Julie Mongold: Your hair is glorious. My hair is bra strap length thin fine and barely wavy....and it would take me like ten years and lots of bald spots to brush it upside down

Roaming Elk: Thanks for your video! I just found CGM and your channel. I appreciate any and all tips as I start my curly journey.

toniel miller: just curious what color rods did you use for your perm? :(or is it naturally curly) i love the natural curl look, your hair is beautiful

Cristian Younan: Your hair is stunning.

Ellie’s Corner: Thanks for the tutorial! Is there a benefit to leaving a lot of water in your hair before putting in product or vice versa?

Haley Godding: I love your haircut and all your layers! What do you ask for when you go to the salon? More layers on top? Or more layers on the bottom? Or short layers all over? Sorry for asking so many questions but nobody ever cuts my hair right!

James Geez: Do you have a link for the products you used during wash day? I love your hair!

Osnat Gerzon: Nice! Very nice! I enjoyed very much to watch! Wow, you have been blessed in a lot of hair! ❤

steffers841: I die for your hair!! <3

Jenny Rose: This is a product I'm very curious to try. Cantu activator is heavy for me. I also want to try blueberry bliss gel and leave in. I have very similar hair to you

Char Borgmann: Looks like you have lots layers cut into your hair, would love to know more about y our hair cut

D Clifton: OMG!! Gorgeous. Fucking gorgeous!

Cari Cruz Rodriguez: Did you get regular layers cut or a curly cut my hair is just like yours. I'm an AG fan myself!! You have all the same products in your shower that I do. I noticed you didn't use the AG Curly shampoo after using the balance shampoo was wondering why. I usually use the AG balance shampoo, then the AG Curly shampoo and conditioner. I've never tried the Balance Conditioner or the leave in. I might have to give it a try.

O M: Love your hair and the color

Kajal Kafle: While using after Recoil cream we should wash or not

Barb M: May I ask what blow dryer/diffuser do you use?

Kathy K.: Did you have to play around with the diffuser to make it fit on the dryer? I'm not sure I can get that dryer at Sally's here in Canada. I would like to try the diffuser, but I have a dryer I do like and not sure the diffuser will fit on it. And ordering the diffuser and possibly the dryer from the US is expensive. Your hair is gorgeous. And you make it look effortless. I feel like doing my hair is a workout, lol! I can use the same products and never get consistent results. I have been using the AG shampoo and conditioner, but haven't tried the leave in. I wish I could get a travel size. I have tried the Remedy and find it a bit oily for my hair, but am going to try it in the shower before my styler. I've tried it on dry hair to tame frizz.

Alice Bear: Please make a video on how you cut your hair it's so good!

Hermine Nazari: You are just beautiful

Alexa:

Judy Kenny: Do you have high or low porosity hair?

Anna Burns: Some products take longer than others to dry due to their ingredients. Another one that takes forever to dry it Kinky Curly Custard. I refuse to use it. Take hours, even with a dryer.

Sharon Chancey: I noticed you put recoil in while in shower. Is hair supposed to b really wet? I used recoil 1st time today but hair was just damp

L. Cruz:

Mia Manning: I use that too.. recoil is a little waxy when used to much and it needs to be used imo with a gel.. also pricey.. sorry AG boost line a bit drying for me.. glad it worked for you

Sol De Enero: Your video is beautiful ❤but please close the shower when you don't use it

Christina Roney: What type of haircut do you get. Love it!

Jess Pavlichenko: Love your hair. But when you are brushing your hair out in the shower, would you consider turning the water off to conserve water?

Cynthia Roldan: Are all these products Curly Girl Friendly
