First Impressions: Prose Custom Hair Care | Curly Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm doing a video over a brand called pros, so I discovered this brand through India batson and I watched one of her videos on it and I was like. Oh my god. I need to try this so I went ahead and ordered my own kit. It came in a box like this and inside I'll show you what it all came with so inside. This is the mask the shampoo and then the conditioner, and it came with two pumps. One for the shampoo and one for the conditioner, it also came with a little pamphlet and inside the pamphlet has your diagnostic, so mine, I have low serum low sensitivity, dandruff is pretty high dryness and damage is also pretty high and then it kind of tells you Your hair goals that you selected, so I like volume, smoothness, isn't a huge thing for me and then curl definition and shine were very important. So how'd, you fill out a questionnaire that asks you all sorts of questions and it will even ask you where you live and I'll take into account your air pollution, your water quality, where you're living um. So it's very very thorough and asks you tons of questions and you can choose if you want it to be vegan, sulfate, free, silicone, free gluten free or you can also choose to have it unscented. I think I chose more of a fruity scent for all of my items, so I'll go ahead and let you know what is the key ingredients in all three of the products, so we'll start off with the mask, as you can see, it has my name on All of the products, this one is for scalp remedy and is also for tree and repairing. So the key ingredients in the mask are I'm gon na apologize. If I butcher these completely, I'm gon na try my best on pronouncing some of these names, so the key ingredients in the masks are jujube bark, prebiotics and wintergreen extract and those together help with restoring the scalp health and cleansing. The scalp mask also contains collagen, lilac and hyaluronic acid. Those three ingredients do together. Is they repair the hairs cuticle from the core? It creates a nourishing outer layer on the hair. The next key ingredient in the mask is sunflower seed oil and what the sunflower seed oil does is it works as a antioxidant, so it helps rebalance the scalp. So next we'll go ahead and talk about the shampoo for the shampoo. They recommend every two to three days. If you want to go longer, I'm sure you can this kind of works as kind of like a low, poo shampoo, rather than kind of like a just a cleansing, conditioner or anything like that. So it does have a little bit of something power to it, but it is sulfate free now the shampoo is designed to color, protect and works kind of as a clarifier, and the key ingredients in the shampoo are kind of the same as the mask, but it Also has argon sucha, Uschi and jojoba oil. What those oils do is they are nourishing and help prevent damage. Next, we'll move on to the conditioner. My conditioner is designed for curl shine and define, and also a body boost so for the conditioner it is recommended to use after each shampooing and the key ingredients in the conditioner are also the argon Sasha you XI and jojoba oil. So again, it kind of helps prevent damage and then it also has the sunflower seed oil to help rebalance my scalp and then it also has castor seed oil, which smoothes the cuticle and reduces the amount of breakage. I'M gon na go ahead and add the pumps on to my shampoo and conditioner. Now when it comes to the masque, they recommend using it before shampooing. So I will first use the mask and then I will use the shampoo and then I follow up with the conditioner for styling. I am going to just add in curls boat and cold jelly. This is actually my first time trying this. I really wanted to try a different styling product today and really step outside of the box. I know it's different from what I typically use, so I'm kind of interested to see how it goes, but I wanted to keep the styling products minimum. So I am just going to leave in a little bit of the conditioner and then put this on top and style, scrunch and diffuse, and everything like that. So let's get started alright. So I'm about to hop in the shower and try out the pros line. Go ahead and take my little 1/2 pineapple out here: okay guys, so I went ahead and used the mask the shampoo in the conditioner. My hair is still pretty darn wet, so I'm gon na go ahead and throw this botanical jelly and I'm probably kind of an idiot for trying something new today with a new haircare line. But you only love once brought over so that much okay, I'm going to go ahead and diffuse. You guys don't really need to see that you've seen it and plenty of my other videos. I will be right back all right, guys, final thoughts. I am pretty impressed with my results, especially for really only putting in one product and just leaving in some of the conditioner. I have a lot of pretty springy pieces. My frizz doesn't really too bad. I kind of was messing with it a little bit extra, but these guys are super springy I'll, show you what the back looks like, as you can tell it's pretty bouncy the scent of the products didn't bother me. I felt like it was a pretty subtle scent and I enjoyed it. I did think the conditioner was kind of on the lighter side, but it still seems to have done its job and moisturised, while still leaving me with a lot of volume. At the same time, my scalp does still have a little bit of flaking, but when it comes to your scalp, it's something that you kind of have to work to rebalance. So I am interested to try the whole line for the next couple weeks and see if my scalp continues to feel better and not as tight, and I am hoping that some of my dry patches towards the front will eventually disappear.
