How to wash your hair properly? I know that may sound like what who doesn't know how to wash their hair. Well, i'm going to explain to you a couple of things that you may not not have thought of. So when i was starting out my career, i was what they call an assistant and i spent years and years about three to four years, just washing hair every single day in a salon and even as i progressed in my career, i washed many many heads and Even to this day, i'll still wash and shampoo and condition you know hair. So it's something that never goes away and if you're watching this uh as a consumer you're, clearly washing your hair on a regular basis, so uh how to wash your hair properly. So the first thing that i really suggest doing: okay, especially if you're one of those individuals who maybe washes their hair every two days every three days. You want to make sure that you are fully rinsing out your hair. Okay. Now the shampoo is going to help remove all that buildup and you know all that product and everything that's been sitting there for a couple days. But in my experience by you know when you're washing your hair and you you just want to rinse all of that out first and just feel your hair. The best thing to do when you're rinsing is just run your fingers through it and see how the hair feels, if you feel there's still a lot of product, build up and there's still stuff in your hair. Just keep rinsing and rinsing to where you feel that your hair feels like it's pretty much rinsed out fully and i always suggest using normal room temperature, not scolding hot water, but a good. You know warm temperature is totally fine when washing your hair, then after your hair is, is fully rinsed out. Then you want to take the conditioner or the shampoo. I'M sorry. I take the shampoo and, if you're, whether using you know, one of my shampoos has a pump uh, which most of my shampoos do have pumps you. Basically it depends on how much how long your hair is and how much hair you have. You could be fine if you have shorter hair like this, maybe one to two pumps of shampoo, so press down one full pump, maybe two full pumps and you'll be surprised how much of that comes out of the pump into your palm on the palm of your Hands after you have those pumps right, then what i suggest is lightly running it through your hands like this and then once it's ran through, because if you keep doing this, it's going to set up and you're not going to have any product so just lightly work. It through and then start throughout the front of your hair and try to work it evenly throughout your hair as quickly and as equal evenly as possible, because your hair, you have to cover the whole span of your head and your scalp right. So you don't want to just put a bunch of shampoo just on the front of your hair right. You want to make sure, and if you have to do another pump, another pump make sure that the entire back of your head has shampoo the sides and the top, and you know, make sure it's evenly covered. Now. As far as the technique, when it comes to washing your hair right, you don't want to go super super vigorous. Like this, i mean you can but just be careful with your nails. You don't want to dig at your scalp or cause any sort of harm to your scalp. Any sort of you know your like razor blades on your scalp. Whatever it is, you just really want to be gentle, so i always suggest you use like the tips of your fingers, and then you know you want to massage it in you can do that because, yes, it feels good, but really what you want to do initially Is get the product and work it through the hair as best as you can make sure it suds up everywhere get get the product really in there and then you can go in. You do want to make sure that you are doing a light scrub, which you can do like this, as you can see, with the palms on your scalp like this, and just really work in that shampoo and uh that uh product right got. It really really. I feel like i'm getting shampoo right now, because i'm like yeah, you just wanna, it's a it's very relaxing, especially if you're at a salon or something somebody else is doing it. But you really want to make sure that you have the hair fully saturated and you have shampooed out and scrubbed all of the scalp all over the place. Then it's time to rinse that out make sure that you are rinsing it fully. Okay, it's almost like when you rinse it for the first time, be very, very thorough, get all of that product that build up out of your hair, don't skimp out on the rinse. Okay, don't skip out of the wrench, just make sure it's all fully rinsed out! You'Ll be able to you'll be able to see also the water that's flowing down if it's clear, if it's still sunny when it's fully clear, that's when it's pretty much good a good time to move on to the next step, if you feel like your hair is Still filthy and dirty, then do another shampoo, except this time, maybe don't work it through the scalp as much because most chances are. Your scalp is okay, it's more the product throughout the ends, just emulsify it through the ends and really kind of try to work it through the ends like this with your hand very lightly and then rinse it out again all right next, it's time for the conditioner. Now do you need a conditioner? It all depends if your hair feels really really dry, then, yes, i would suggest a conditioner and conditioner doesn't always necessarily have to go directly on the scalp. All right same thing probably do one pump of the conditioner, because a conditioner will easily work through the hair and disrupt and like the distribution of it, is a lot easier. So one pump and then work it through and you want to start with the ends right. Work at three ends use your fingers like this and work it through this way to make sure that you're getting it all throughout the ends here and then you can maybe work it down to the scalp. If you have very fine hair, very soft, limp type of hair, putting conditioner on the scalp or using too much may actually make your hair too soft, and it will prevent you from getting the volume you may need right now. You can always go back in with styling products to help get that, but if you're, somebody who doesn't use a lot of products - and you wonder why your hair is so limp and just flat, it could be because you're over conditioning your hair, so maybe try. Like 25 spray or something after you get out of the shower and then comb through it, okay, so make sure that before your condition, also you've got some of the extra excess water just squeeze it out and blot it out or something. But you don't want to be soaking dripping wet, just squeeze a little bit run the conditioner through, and then you can rinse the conditioner again make sure all the connector is rinsed out you'll, be able to feel your hair and if you want to hit it with A cool rinse, i'm talking for like five seconds 10 seconds, that's totally cool. It just closes down the cuticle, but um get all the conditioner out and then you're good to go. Then, however, you proceed with whatever hair care or hair styling techniques or whatever you do to get that. Look then you're ready to go for that. Let me know in the in the comments below and if you found this helpful and don't forget, i do have a full range of shampoos and conditioners, which are very very popular. If you use code youtube20, that's youtube20 at shop.salon.com, you get 20 off and uh. It'S a great deal, so let me know if you found this video helpful thanks for watching and i'll see you soon. You

Mujtaba Iqbal: This guy deserves hair fr

Ivan Alexeev: Every video I see on this channel is even more useful than the previous one. Thank you Salon Guy

Jacobo Studios: Extra tip guys: the conditioner should never be applied on the scalp

Rain: "I was what they call an assistant."... LOL I assisted it for 12 months and it was invaluable experience.. Even to this day, my cients love my shampoos and my 7 min scalp massages that make them PUTTY in my hands. A great shampoo experience is part of the service. Get in there and gently scrub. I hate getting "half-assed" shampoos, and that's all I ever get when I visit other salons. Someone gifted me a high-end blow out at a salon on Santa Monica Blvd about ten years ago, and jt was.a Japanese salon. There was a fully reclining hampoo BED. The guy scrubbed my head so magically, really sudsing up. It fekt amazing. White he massaged my head some other person massaged my FEET! OMG. It was heaven Oh, anf my hands were dipped in paraffin. No wonder it was a $150 service. I was unable to make a coherent sentence because I was so relaxed.

EZ BZ: This is actually such a useful guide! Great video :]

starsinrain: Do you have any tips for very long hair? Sometimes the shampoo/conditioner is not fully rinsed out of my hair, despite a thoroughly rinsing. I’d usually realize it when my hair is damp, and I would then have to separate my hair and hold it under the faucet.

Bivek Biswakarma: I just had a first hairwash for the client and i was so happy for that and tysm for giving us such an valuable information

Chew Pacca: a guy with no hair giving tips about hair. badass

Vinz Samonte: Thanks for the advice, I really need this one ❤️

Michael Z: Three helpful tips I learned from other resources: 1: Bend your neck and let water flow from the back of head instead of front, as frontal hair is more fragile and prone to breakage. 2: Conditioner should only be applied on top half of hair, not on the scalp. Short hair doesn’t need as much conditioning as long hair. 3: Use sulfate-free shampoos

Presila Perez: I have very fine, long, thin hair and my curl hardly stays in. I also tease the top for volume and it won’t hold long enough for me to go out the door. What product can I use on my hair for a longer hold? Tired of wimpy hair….

Reinster: Please, lets get this man to 1 mil already!

Mich107: This man and renovision must be protected at all costs.

JGsource: I know im late but when is the best time to style your hair(applying products and blowdrying in my case). 30 mins after taking a shower? Is it bad to blowdry is hair is still kinda wet? Or should you do it when it is dry? I’ve always been guessing on when but now im curious at this point

Nikola Krastev: My hair is very long, curly and thick so washing it is a bit of a hustle. (I still do it though of course)

SFW Doughie: Even if I put shampoo and conditioner on my hair, I feel like I need more because I put a lot in one spot and can’t distribute it all over my head because my hair is dense. Besides, my hair on the sides like to curl outwards, I don’t like that :(

Farhaan Arshad: Learning to wash hair from a hairless person Chad moment ✨

Ali Movasati: My hair was screaming all the while I was watching this video ... gotta adopt some of these techniques and tips!

randoom: I wash my hair once a week it works for my hair and i brush it 2 times a day

Vighnesh K S: I spend 2-3 years on the salon just washing my hair that became baldjk..... Love your channel♥️

Varik Lane: Make sure your hair looks like a complete bubble then massage your scalp then rinse everything

Vegeta L: These lines were true - "Those who get it do not value it and vice versa. "

Miss_Glozie: THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS

Shounak's Creations: "Power of the pump in the palm of my hands"

Anish Upare: I would like if you show how to do the 'red hair shanks' pre and post - timeskip hairstle

Harriet Broughton: Lolol this video made me laugh in a good way. I bet the salon guy is a real funny guy in real life. Looking handsome like always nothing new ❤️

yuzaro: Exactly what i needed

fhjfj hfh: What conditioner and shampoo do you suggest?

Dominic: I like how well it worked on you.

Thewindgamer: You said use conditioner if your hair feels really dry but that it can also flatten out your hair. If my hair is both very dry and looses volume after shampooing what should i do?

Bence Gyalus: What happens if i use only conditioners ? (Idk why but its works for me)

stateniland: I have very thick hair and use a silicone scrubber meant for hair... Is this product OK or can it harm my scalp / hair?

Kommisar: I have long, thick hair (like well past shoulders), and I find there is often not much suds. Does that mean I need to do "two coats" or just use more? I typically use about a quarter size amount of shampoo. I also find it a lot less sudsy in the back and to a lesser extent on the sides. How much suds do you need to know the shampoo is working? Also, how long should you leave the conditioner in for?

Alan S. Wendelschafer: Don't forget to wash behind the ears especially. Don't want that to get nasty.

HYpocry 1000: This guy guides other to a treasure he can't possess

djcig15: I need to do a better job on my shampooing. I've always concentrated more on the scalp than the ends of my hair. I'll condition my hair after I shampoo but I've noticed that after a day my ends of my front fringe gets oily fast.

Amir tv: My hair is so oily , and i wash my hair every day do you think this can damage my hair ?

Sarah Baker: I learned you wash the top of the head and condition the bottom. No washing the bottom half of the hair…

Suresh Nangliya: Which shampoo is really good for hair??

Ujjawal Shekhar: If I did this , I am definitely going to look like this guy ...

Adarsh Kumar: I wash my hair everyday with soap. One or two times a week I use shampoo after rinsing it with soap.

TellingSalt: So jealous of the head massage that mannequin is getting

Federal Bureau of Gaming: I needed this thanks. How about drying? Do you pat dry with a towel or rub it?
