You can also do this yourself because these tips this insight. In this background, you know, behind the scenes view of applying. It will really help you to better. You cover those grays and please do not hesitate to share this with a professional hair colorist. There is so much misinformation out there about henna that they really need to see this video. This video has so much great content that will help them see how amazing henna is and to note that we have a curriculum coming in early 2021 about naturally coloring your hair with henna and indigo, and other ayurvedic hair treatments for professionals. So, first things: first, now that you got your mix right and if you haven't got your mix right and you're, not sure, remember we have a whole bunch of videos on henna, hair coloring so definitely hit the playlist called hannah. Hair color and it'll have everything that you need to get started. So if this by chance is the first video that you're seeing do know at hennessook, we have a whole bunch of videos on henna hair coloring that you guys can learn how to mix it. And so detailed and then definitely watch this video on how to apply it. So that way you get the best color results. First thing: first, when you're going to color your hair with henna, the question is: should i apply it on to clean or dirty hair? It varies amongst people, some people don't care. Some people do professionally. Speaking from my own experience in the salon, i definitely recommend pre-washing and ideally clarifying the type of clarifier that i like to use. Most often was a soap nut, hair wash. It was easy to use it really clarified and opened up the hair strands to really receive the color so much better. This is really important for those who have stubborn grays hard to color hair and really just want to open everything up to get the best. As the positive, so the best deposit will also be the longest lasting color treatment for you as well, and henna. Hair coloring is done about every four to six weeks and if you wanted to a root touch-up in between, you definitely can do so in between as needed. And if you don't have a clarifier on hand, you can definitely choose from the other. Hair washes and shampoo bars that we carry to wash your hair before you're, doing your hair down hair coloring treatment, and now that your hair is washed, you don't have to dry. Your hair actually leave your hair slightly damp because henna and aromatic hair care treatments go on so much easier on damp hair strands, so keep your hair down and get ready to apply the henna hair coloring treatment that you have prepared to color your hair with next Step is to section your hair. Do four sections in your hair like such, like the lines i just drew with my finger section, the hair and do a section at a time. This is really good for those who have a lot of hair. If your hair is short, you probably don't need to do that. You could just definitely just apply it and go from there, but as soon as you have your hair, sectioned and you're ready to go, don't forget, you have to use our henna care bone. We have this amazing henna carrot balm that will line your hairline, it's natural. It'S not vaseline, i don't recommend vaseline, don't use vaseline and use the henna care balm to line all your hairline and on your ears to avoid coloring. If you do color it by accident, just wipe it away, you know make sure to have some paper towel handy. So that you can just wipe away the paste if, by any chance it does stain, don't worry, it will go away in a couple of days and a handy little tip is if you are really annoyed by it, and some mishap of henna hair coloring happens somewhere On your skin, where you don't want it, you can use baby wipes to gently exfoliate and remove the color it'll help a little bit, but henna is pretty cold. It does stain when applying bisections start at the front and then move towards the back. You know, typically, a lot of colors will start at the front for the most part, and i found to allow it to have the most amount of dyeing time on this areas that are kind of stubborn. What happens to be usually like the edges and sometimes the crown area so definitely do by sections and make sure that you do put on a good amount. Don'T have your paste too thin, where it's dripping, because you need that moisture. You don't want your mixture to dry out for sure. If you want really good color results, you definitely have to make sure to really saturate really well on those proper areas and then um from there. Once you have covered all of your hair with the henna hair color treatment, massage it in give your hair a really good massage. You want to feel cool all over your scalp. That way, you know that you've gotten everywhere and you know if you're using a hair dye brush. You know, that's a tip. You can use a hair dye brush, but you can go back over it with your hands with gloves, of course, because it can stain definitely go back through it, massage it and use your hands. I love using my hands personally and giving it a nice massage. It feels so good guys it's seriously. It really does feel good and just really make sure you've gone all over and then heavily saturate the edges and anywhere, where there's stubborn hair, because literally i've seen hundreds of times where curls, especially or actually even straight hair, sometimes just hair. It wants to be wild and it pops out. You may not realize that it's actually lifting out of the dye um, so you really got ta saturate the areas that are really stubborn, make sure it stays moist and wet that really helps a lot. If it's you know damp and it doesn't dry out, because when it dries out, it gets cakey and muddy. I actually feel it's so hard on the hair as well when it's so dry and it makes it hard to wash out so once you know that you have had it very well, you know saturated it's nice and damp. Then you can use um like a shower cap um. You know that you can use and wrap it up really well, maybe even like to put on a bonnet over that or um like a scarf or something to really wrap it up and keep it nice and warm as well. I have a tip for those of you who are coloring your hair and have low porosity hair. You may want to use a heat cap, something to really get some more heat going on in there, because if your hair is more open, it'll also receive the color. Much better you'll get better penetration as well. I definitely found that to be the case for low porosity. You need to give it a little bit more heat a little bit more push to really get that stubborn hair colored really well. That really helps a lot make sure to have your extra towels all around. You know old t-shirt when you know when you, of course, before you get started, but definitely have it all extra towels and paper towel in case it does drip some and now, let's jump into the good part, the good part where we see how i applied henna Hair coloring treatments on different hair types and textures. So before i started her hair was already clean, so i did spritz it with more damp water and then i am applying the henna hair color from the beginning of her. You know her hairline all the way. Moving towards like the back and getting it all in between, but i didn't do sections per se, because her hair is a bit on the thinner side. So i didn't have to do sections per say on her hair, and then i definitely will lift it all up up of the hair kind of creating like a bit of a bun on top when i'm coloring the hair and then ensuring that all the edges are Colored really well, and then i used two shower caps to put on to her hair. Her hair was freshly washed already and i just detangled it a little bit more so that way make the application go on so much easier and again i started at the front and worked all the way to the back. I didn't really section per se with like clips and whatnot, because i didn't really need to and then just applying it through thoroughly throughout her hair and then wrapping it up almost like a bit of a bun and putting two shower caps over that as well. So when applying henna on locks, i ideally do like to use a very finely sifted. Henna powder, usually the jamila them and the indian henna powders are really finely sifted and it makes it very easy to wash out for this particular client. She has used henna before and that was hannah and indigo that we used to color her hair and she's very familiar with you know, coloring her her hair with hannah and indigo before previously, and she decided that she was just gon na wrap it up. Leave it on for three to four hours and wash it out at home herself. So her hair is freshly washed and slightly damp still and we're applying a mix of henna and indigo. And i did section her hair off because she does have a lot of hair. In those sections, as i am coloring them, i basically like to put them on top of the hair and kind of make it a bit like a bun or a little bit of a crown type thing that way. It stays out of my way as i'm working on other sections and then from there, i'm just applying it making sure to get it in really well massaging it there at the end and then fully making a full crown. So tell me a little bit about how you came to know about henna and aerobatic hair care, youtube um, i think, being on this natural hair journey. I was just looking for something that was natural and without all the chemicals i've had breakage over the years with using chemicals um. My journey started back in 2013 and that's when i did my big chop and then over the years just trying new things and um. Last year i think it was probably may or june i was like you know what i want to definitely do arabic, hair care and then that's when i went on youtube and um. I found curly proverbs and um. You know she was a you know, supporter of henna and um, and that's how i found him all right. What'S your your hair type, my hair type is 4a 4b, okay, and maybe oh, maybe 4c somewhere right here. If you were to tell anybody like any advice about hannah and arabic, is there any thing that you would share that either you wish you knew or they would you really feel like it's important that they know, but just do your research. I mean with anything that you put on your body or in your body. Just do your research before you. Do it because everything's not for everybody and you just want to make sure you're using the purest products out there. So i would just say: do your research? I'Ve always felt with some of the video and information that's out there, that people do get confused against information overload. Yes and then sometimes some people think that one way might work for them and it doesn't always like you know, work the same way. It might work for somebody else, but i feel like with those adjustments, and you can really have a lot of success like i definitely for me personally. I would definitely just see more colors and stylists like because i feel like if they start educating people, then it will be more well known because the people that are, we trust and look to to do. You know similar to like what you do and that's why? I'M here i traveled multi-states to get here for my visit with you today. So yes, awesome all right, so we're gon na get into it. So definitely did detangle her hair further. It'S really nice and damp, and i just wanted to make sure that it was fully detangled and then i made all her hair into sections and then i started at the front and started moving towards the back by section. Slowly and again, you can see making the crown on top of the hair, to get the hair out of the way so that i can work on different sections and then towards the end. I fully massage it all in at the very very end and make sure all the edges and all the areas are fully colored and double wrapped with the shower cap. So tell me a little bit about your hair journey or how you came to find out what hannah and ayurvedic hair care um. I am a bit of a youtube junkie, um, and so i saw some videos with curly proverbs and i've been following uh. Naturally, for quite some time there was a, i think, a hair challenge or a bundle or something that was for sale at the time. So let me look into it, so i was all over your site and trying to figure out. You know what would work for me and i i just kind of felt like i had been guessing for a long time. You know i'm moving back to this area and i said well, let me see if i can get an appointment and i did so here. I am so you're you're. Definitely some of your hair goals like what what do you want to achieve? I definitely feel like some of the things i've done to my hair um coloring, it pretty consistently uh. You know with harsh color coloring agents, um lots of heat. I haven't had a relaxer uh since oh four, so it's been a while um, but the coloring and the heat just wreaked havoc on the hair. So i'm looking forward to getting some thickness back because it feels like it's thinned out quite a bit. Having my hair be healthy, uh and then growing to you know great lengths again at one point, my hair was mid-back and i loved it. I want to be able to do that again. Well, no, we definitely need to get those goals. I really feel like this is going to work well for you. I just feel like this just treatments and consistency is going to be like huge, just jump into it perfect. So as i started to detangle her hair, i also put the henna care balm, as you can see in the video all around her edges and on her ears, so that way didn't color everywhere her hair, i didn't really need to section. I was able to go through it and do my own sections and thoroughly color hair, because she didn't have as much hair as some clients do and usually i use my best judgment in that and then put on as a crown bun it up to the top Of the head and make sure that good saturation with the henna hair, coloring treatment and getting the edges really well done, wrapped up and good to go so coloring her hair. I got her edges really well saturated with the henna care balm that i'm coloring all over her hair. By section i'm making my own sections, i didn't have to clip it down by section because she didn't have a whole lot of hair and then just thoroughly saturating. The gray hair and the edges to make sure to get it fully penetrated in the best best color results. You see, i massaged it in really well and then i'm going to wrap it up with two shower caps, so there's no drips anywhere and she will leave it on for three to four hours. What brought you to find out and discover hannah and arabic hair care? Well, my very good friend um had started using it a few months ago and she kept raving about it and i was having you know some challenges with my hair. I'Ve been natural now, since about 2010 2011. post-menopausal, i started having receding hairline um, getting that hormonal v up in my temple. My crown hair is very thin and i also have like three different curl patterns in my hair, okay, um, but challenge pretty much with the crown okay. So when i talked to my friend and she had told me about the results that she was having with henna, i think well, okay, let me you know, take a look and i started doing a little bit of research um, so i've been experimenting with different things: Um with henna some of your products um for about the past four weeks, okay, um i'm starting to see a response with my hair, okay, okay um. So now i just want to see if i can totally get away from chemicals or as much uh away from chemicals as i can and just go to natural route. Was there any, like particular, like first product that you used as far as when it comes to henna? Was it hannah right away or was it like a non-coloring herb? I used cassia, oh okay, okay, uh! Look my hair loved it; okay, absolutely loved it: okay! Okay! Okay, did you use like a mask or do more like a diy, i use the the mask the mask. Oh yeah, like the casters curls yeah, that's a good one! Yeah! That'S my favorite one. Do you usually do that mask like like on a certain type of regimen like have you decided like how like how often you want to do it? I wash my hair every week, okay um! So if i do a mask um then that following week, i do um a moisture, okay, a deep conditioner kind of thing. So at best i will say on a monthly basis. I will do two masks and two moisture treatments. I just wrote an alternative yeah yeah yeah. Oh, that sounds good, and how do you see like the henna hair color coming into that like fold? Will that just extend it to a six week plan um? I want the henna because i want to get away from, like i said chemical dyeing like right now i have um i've been using a rinse um. So if i can get the deep black color that i want from henna um, but i'm half okay with that - and i will probably do that, like maybe every other month - okay, um or probably just do a root. Touch-Up! Okay, you know so that when my hair yeah, when my gray starts to come in, i don't have all these colors in my hair. This has dark, hair and light hair and that's it. She came in with freshly washed hair and it was slightly damp. So i took it out of the twist that she had it in and detangled it really. Well then, i applied the henna care balm to all the edges in her ears, and then i started to apply all the henna and indigo hair coloring treatment to all of her hair and pulled up the hair to the top of the hair. You know would be out of my way as i worked on new sections and i kept massaging it in really really well to get and penetrate those areas that were gray and then we wrapped it up and she's going to leave it on for three to four Hours, what can i do for you all right, so tell me about your hair. How long have you been using henna in arabic? Oh boy, um gosh, maybe um, probably since maybe 12 2012 - maybe i don't know yeah, it's been. It'S been a really long time. Okay, and how did you first learn about black hannah once um? I wanted to color my hair without using that ppd chemical? That'S really that was really it and my hair is kind of. I always thought it was just weak, but it's it and maybe it kind of is, but the henna makes it like super. I always call it like super super superhero strength, hair because it feels that's because it feels like when i leave and then watch when i wash it out. It'S like oh wow, that's like somebody else. It'S so strong. It feels like it could take a brush. Just breaking through it, it just really feels so so so strong and it's it's. It'S awesome the way it feels and it lasts. It lasts a pretty long time too. What like hair type, would you say you have oh the receipt for a right? Okay, so combination yeah a lot. I feel like a lot of people, do ask me about like their hair type. They get questions like that, but sometimes people don't realize they actually have more than one type of hair right and mine is about six. It'S about six. Going on yeah it's in spot, so it's like 3c around the perimeter and then the top is like some other kind of combination, which i think a lot of people have. This crown thing where it's um thicker and, like a whole, different uh thing going on. So a lot of people do the four parting, they always say pardon four, i'm not i'm a five. I have to do five because this needs to be treated. It'S totally. That'S what i learned in my little my hair journey. This needs to be treated differently than everything else. I didn't think about it at all, because people do four and i'll do the four, but this is the spine has to be. It needs its own thing and how often do you feel you have to do? Um? Your hair, i i'm like i i'm kind of putting myself on a six to eight week schedule and is there anything if you had to tell anybody about just henna in general, like in the whole experience of henna? Is there anything that you wish you might have known or any tidbit um? I i left out youtube what i said in my journey and researching a lot of people. Um are having there's a lot of uh uh information out there. That'S kind of um negative towards henna and i think people um aren't uh. They get these things in their head and they do the stuff it just throw all these oil. It'S not necessary. Really, the basic mix is warm water henna, let it let it be. Yeah. Um you get deep conditioned after that's what i would say, because these people doing these combinations of and i'm watching them and they're in their kitchen and they're doing like oil and coconut, and this and i'm going, you don't need it. Actually, it may block keep your hair from absorbing all the good stuff, exactly yeah, so some people, i do over almost overthink the recipe and it's too much yeah and i get i get that they are scared. It might dry. I get that their hair might be dry and it may be just you know, deep condition right after um and and you know, i think everybody will be fine, i mean definitely for me, i mean i told you i was doing coconut milk, oh yeah, and this Is fine? Everyone can choose the recipe that looks like them when it comes to color. Keeping it simple, simple, simple is the best. Is the best easy right, that's what they did in the uh, the back of the uh day back in the day right, yeah cleopatra! That'S what they were doing yeah they didn't have all this stuff. So i did her edges with the henna care balm and i detangled, and then i started applying the henna and indigo hair coloring treatment. I got it all over her hair. Did my own sections pulled up the hair to the top of the hair as needed to get everything out of my way and applied it really well and thoroughly. So that way, she'd get good, color and good penetration and then massage it in really well. This time i did make it like a little thicker than last time, then, for you, i feel like it's thicker, so does it feel heavier to you it does. It does feel heavier and i did want to tell when people are doing their hair and if you're doing it on your own, definitely give yourself like a good massage like to make sure that everything got in and make sure you go over and touch up. The edges right, i'm good, even no, i'm loving him, i'm big on hannah. I just am so happy to come here because i don't have to mess up my kitchen and i don't have to kind of all i got ta do is wash it out four hours or go to sleep and do it in the morning yeah yeah. What is your plan actually? Do you think? Last time, last time i came, i i just kind of watched him that was my plan for tonight. Watch a movie me and my day, hair my date, my date hannah and we said we eat we watch. But anyway i just i like. I like the whole, like i said, super superhero, hair and um the scalp. You know because i don't have like a. I feel sorry for people when i see that they get itchy and, like you know, but this will like help that all this this on your scalp will help with the itchy. What else you do because you're the expert? Yes, i mean it definitely soothes the scalp soothing, and you know if any itchiness or any scalp issues, that's all going to be gone yeah. This is great. People really should jump on this yeah other than that, like the hair, color benefits and the coverage that you get raised is just really just healing it's very healing yeah and it forces you to slow down and take time for yourself. No, that's something i've read about. I'M sometimes i notice that when the grays on the edges, because it can be really stubborn - sometimes i feel like if it dries out too much, then you won't get the color the color, because it's just basically dried out. So if you keep it like damp and a little bit wet see, i didn't know that i actually didn't. I know that yeah it has to stay damp. Okay, i think yeah. So i should just pull the pull the plastic like further down since mine comes so far, but luckily you're going to have some so you're going to take some with you to do a little touch-up. I am just touching this so lucky i get to come here. I'M sorry i i just am i'm just so happy about this whole. You are doing my hair with anna and i get to go and i get to go home and just wash it out. I look forward to this. I'M so dark, like nervous as i come in here in traffic. Like i can't be late, i can't be late. I got ta get it. I got ta get the stuff in my hair, like people don't know, and it's just so easy um under under yeah yeah. I'Ve got this weird thing about my ears. Maybe it's because i was born with those holes like why and it washed out really really well. It was. It was so funny because it was like ash is going to be my henna cat and it was it. It didn't stain at all. No because it's black, it's perfect now. We have a FULL CURRICULUM coming for hair colorists and stylist early 2021. In the meantime, learn more at our comprehensive Henna 101 page: https://hennasooq.com/henna-101/

Brenda Dionne: After 30 years+ of chemically dying/bleaching my hair, I used the Sooq Moroccan henna and indigo on my hair for the first time today and my hair feels amazing! I am so excited to see how the color oxidizes over the next few days. Thank you for all of your educational/helpful videos and sunny disposition.

Fiona Fox: I’ve been using henna in my hair for the past two years, I love it so much! It’s so beautiful and rich looking, and lasts so long! I love it mixed with amla powder and hibiscus for a really deep burgundy color ❤️

Julia's Hair Journey: I really love doing henna on my hair and I am glad there are professionals like you who are helping other stylists learn how to apply this to people's hair.

Marlisha Jean: Hi! How often do you recommend using this treatment? I did it yesterday but after watching this video I realized that I didn’t not have enough at all for my thick hair & the consistency was too dry still had great results but I want to try again this weekend

Yolanda McBride: I love that you shared to keep the stubborn grey edges moist so the color can deposit on them. This was my struggle when using henna and indigo. ❤

Amber Denise TV: Thanks for covering locs! I loved to henna my hair before I locked it. I am 10 months in so I haven't used it since, but once my hair fully locks up I'll be back to using it!!

DOPE LYFE Rootworks LLC: I’d like to see more on the locks if you can. New to channel. Love how you get the feedback from clients to help me with understanding their real understanding of how it affects the hair. Love the SUPERHERO HAIR COMMENT ‍♀️ my hair also feels weak due to VERY THIN STRANDS. Locked 1 1/2 years and Loving the Journey but my hair is very thin which makes my locks look like they’re struggling but they’re not‍♀️ Natural so I don’t plan to use chemicals. Just finding out about these products thru your channel. Been thinking about it and now it’s in my feed. Thank you for your energy. YOU ARE DOPE just in case ain’t nobody told you ❤️

S.L. Bruno: The dolls in the background are everything!

Monique P: This was super informative! I adore your red raj. I could relate to the “superhero hair” comment, because henna has really strengthened my fine strands. I didn’t realize the importance of keeping the henna really moist during application. Definitely going to look out for that next time. Thanks for all the info!

sunwillcomeup: Disappointed that the results weren’t shown for the grey coverage client.

Her Guiltless Garb: I loved seeing this! I do have a question… I do henna treatments on my hair every 4-6 weeks. Do you need to also incorporate actual protein treatments within your regimen in conjunction with using henna. If so, how often can you use them? I’m not sure if Henna treatments take the place of a protein treatment due to its strengthening properties, or if you have to use a protein treatment as well.

dahlia ambrosine: Have used Henna a few years ago and the results were great. I am styling my natural hair with a nice light brown to cover the frontal gray. I want to resume using Henna again and would prefer to keep the current color. What type/ brand would you recommend to acquire the same/similar color or close to it as possible?

Wendy 44: Love this because of how detailed you are. Thank you!! Will be purchasing the course tonight.

Quinn Camarena: Thank you for this, this was so informative; it answered a lot of the questions I had... My mom has used Henna but by another brand, and I wanted to try this I so excited to purchase soon. Keep up the great work. Sis God Bless

Sherell Bains: Thx! When I used to visit my tricologist, she mentioned that she didn't like to use Henna bc it was messy. I love using Henna and thx for the education behind how Henna benefits your hair. The tips on massaging and not letting your Henna paste dry along the edges are super helpful. When using Henna as a coloring agent, I typically leave it in for 24 hours. Is this recommended?

Heather Etheredge: Thank you . This was very helpful. I have been researching for a week now. I was going to the hair salon and was torturing my scalp with hard dye chemicals just to cover my grays. The hair dresser had to reset the timer and leave hair dye on my grey and white hair longer in order to make it turn. Now I am happy that I found a. better solution!!! I have my ingredients and will be watching more of your videos before I get started.

Tamica Gibbs: Very informative , I was hoping to see more end results but I’m still very excited about making my henna purchase for coloring my hair.

Xemáya Oxumarê: Peace and Love to you! I am very intrigued by your informative videos. You actually answered one of my questions which was will henna work on locs. I actually have tail bone length naturally dark brown sisterlocks that are healthy and thick. I’ve always wanted a deep redish-burgundy color and after watching some of your videos I wanted know if mixing the red raj with the other Indian burgundy would be suggested? I use aloe vera juice and gel on my hair already and was excited to see you have a powder for the henna but is it safe to use a red tea instead of green tea to achieve a deeper reddish tone? And my last question would be how much henna powder would I need given my length and thickness?... Thank You in advance ✨

dekko 1312: 4-6 weeks??? I do it every 4-6 months I just wear a hat or scarf to cover the roots lol. Love this video, I've always done it on dirty dry hair and it's a huge pain because I have extremely thick hair. Going to take your advice tonight!!

T Will: I agree with Client 10 about the sections . My crown is so different from the rest of my hair so I section it by its self to care for it, I’ve seen improvements

A Friendly Face in the Crowd: As salaam alaikum, Sister Khadija. Could you please give me a tips on how you would apply henna to long 2a/b fine thick waist length hair? I did it myself 2 years ago and the color stayed in that long—Mash’Allah—but I did a lot of extra steps and my hair was much shorter. Shukran!

jdBLUE2583: I like the tip about keeping along the edges more moist than dry. I'm still trying to figure out how much alma and aloe powder to add with the indigo and henna.

Naturally Dunn: I want you to do my hair. I absolutely love henna. I know your client said you don’t need to add this, that, and the third but I like adding hibiscus and aloe vera to mine. Sometimes oils too. And now I’ve got a new favorite-it’s your cocoa henna kisses. I used them with my prepoo and they smell soooooo good and then I use henna. I know you said your hair should be clean however I think my greys need extra moisture because these wirey thangs be dry. I never have any problems coloring my greys with your henna. Love my red streaks ‍♀️

La-La 1908: Great video! I have learned so much watching your channel! I love the interaction with you and your clients!

Nyotakikora1: I love henna, and use it every 6-8 weeks, thanks to Curlyproverbz, and will add Hibiscus, amla, fenugreek or aloe. But I would love for you to do my hair. I order from you all the time, and live in your area. Thank you for this video

Chalsey Wilder: This is the best YouTube channel I've ever seen from a black owned brand. So far I've only bought the ready made clay and two powder ones as well as one shampoo bar. So glad to give your channel as much of a chance as the products!

All Gospel: I have natural dark brown hair at the roots, with a lot of gray, and neutral ash above the roots from previous chemical color. I mixed the rajasthani Indian henna with the aloe powder. In a separate bowl I mixed the organic indigo with salt. After the dye release for the henna and indigo, I combined them together and applied the mixture to my damp hair, then covered with plastic wrap. After it sat for 4 hours I rinsed it out with water, then shampoo. My hair is now a medium brown. My grays are completely covered.

Tracey Lennon: Wow..just wow, very informative and relatable as far as my hair goals!!

Sarah McDonald: Very helpful! Thank you Mrs.K!

Rose Rosey: The henna i used is also natural but it is for hair growth that might work for the client that had some v hair line shape due to her hormones. If you want to know what they add let me mention their page to help your clients with their hair

Empress B: Now I’m confused I thought when applying henna color there’s 2 steps and not be mixed into one? The henna then the indigo?? I enjoy seeing the testimonials and the henna color services being done. I am transitioning from using vegan box color and look forward to starting my henna and ayurvedic hair journey. Thank you for sharing your knowledge

Sophie: I am so glad I have found your channel ^^ Now i get to learn all the tips and tricks to properly mix and apply henna :) I only want it on my roots as I do have blue hair tips, I hope it'll work :) Definitely need to buy amla powder and aloe powder :) Thank you

Julie Chase: Would love to see more of the after shots and how their hair turned out.

Cheree' R: I love your Moroccan henna. I followed your tutorial and added aloe powder. My hair is stronger, softer and smoother. Plus my type 4 low porosity curls and cork screws are popping!!! I had a few grays that are now copper and I love it Should I deep condition a few days after treatment or the same day?

Ivy1403: I'm new to using pure henna on my hair. I have used henna chemical hair color and it was fine at first, but later I became sensitive to it. That chemical dye and others after that I have used in my hair have since been grown out. So preparing to use a safer and chemical free dye. I was seeing in this video that a hair color brush was used for application of the henna mix. In some other videos there are others applying the henna mix with only thier hands. Which method is best? My hair is natural and curly. Thank U for your informative videos about henna and applying henna, every bit of information from someone knowledgeable and experienced helps!

Alysia Ellison: Do you recommend deep conditioning after a henna color treatment?

Kathleen Harris: Could you show their results in another video? Thanks.

Ma. Celina de Vera: Hi! May I know how long should henna sit for thin fine hair. Thank you :) love your videos

Develyn Wright: This was helpful. Thank you so much!

haVoc Witta Attitude🙄: When I use henna I like to let the mix soap for a day to allow the dye to release, but in your videos I see that you apply it right away. Is letting the dye release necessary? I’ve never used it right away so idk how it differentiates.

Larisa Rusu: Hello, i have a question, is it allowed to use Henna on already dyed hair (5-6 month old dyed hair, not freshly dyed)? Thank you .

MsIslandchic: How long should I leave henna in my hair before washing it out?

Stacey Smith: I been henn sing for years now. My herbal store stopped selling it , I've been using Rainbow Henna, but I want something like this that's more natural. I stopped going to a hair salon because they kept telling me natural hair products were bad for my hair. So I cut my own hair and I color it myself. Can't wait to get this.

Sunflower Jay: The best informative video I’ve come across and thank you for featuring people of color!

Draped in Gold: My hair gets really dry when I use henna & indigo for grey coverage. What can I use to prevent the drying?

Sangabo Amin: Assalamu alaikum sister. I really love watching your channel. May Allaah protect you and your family. I do henna on the hands but have done henna on my hair several times and ends up drying my hair. I was just wondering if there is a way to keep it moist?

Olivia Bulanda: I am okay with my grey hair but am interested in learning more about using henna the right way. I know you have products that will not color your hair. Can you do videos on those products as well.

mrobinson29: I would have love if you had shown how you mixed the henna & indigo for your clients. The video was great. Thanks for sharing info.

UmmBilal Qamar: JazakAllahKhayr sis! I’ve been putting henna for years now and im happy to see a hijabi helping women. What happens when after you’ve rinsed henna out and the next day your pillow is stained from henna thru a sleep cap. What do I do?

Sarah Ashley: I love this video!! Does henna coloring make your whole hair all one shade or do you keep your highlights?

A S: Wow thank you sister. My heart is beating so fast from excitement. I want to be a red head, or something similar. If I can figure this out, I'm going to help my grandma too InshAllah!!

carol Green: How do i incorporate the indigo in the henna. I've applied it after the henna treatment but if I can make it an all in one step that would be ideal

Yushi Sushi: Really liked the video! Love your dolls! What can you use if you don't have Henna Balm for the edges?

NerdPiece: Thank you for these. This helped with my ethnic hair

UmmBilal Qamar: Asalaamu alaikum Thank you for the great interviews! I have a question. I have been doing henna for several years and have been scared to put it on my ends when I touch up my greys. Can I put henna on my whole strands every time I touch up or maybe once a month. Cuz I touchup every three weeks.

Elsa Lafleur: Your video was so helpful I live in the Caribbean so. I actually just used hena in my hair today for the first time. I had to use Vaseline because that what I had . I first time I amnhearing about your hair balm. I really do not know my hair type either. The brand I used was Jamila. The way you applied it that's what I did, it was so much easier that way. I do have natural hair.

Beauty UpAbove: I'm off tomorrow so I'm doing a Henna+Gloss hair mask in the morning. I purchased them from you and had stored them into the freezer. I have 6 left of different varieties and enjoyed every single one of them. By Black Friday my freezer will be ready for the next BUNDLE HENNASOOQ HERE I COME

Lilac Tuliee: What if I just want to use henna for strengthening my hair and not for coloring? Which henna should I use?

Tracy: I would love for you to do my hair. Some times I’m just not in the mood to do my gray roots. Then again there are times I enjoy the ritual of it. Omg those dolls in the back!

Liz Nichols: That last client has so much personality. She seems like a lot of fun.

Dana Fisher: Oooo Thank you for the tip on using the SoapNut Hair Wash that explains the great unintended color when I used it ... going to try it again for the next go round still working on these greys that want to be cooper and won’t go brown LOL

Tracey Lennon: I want a warm or medium brown...how do I achieve that with grays mostly in the front and when parting sections?

Brenda Warner: Thank you so much, I brought some of your hair products, I am super excited, to try them❤️

Dianne B: How often can you do this treatment? If you have high porosity hair

Sherri Okere: I would like to see the results of the ladies who have the stubborn Grey's henna/indigo

The Love Light: i love Henna, but usually i get brighter color in the front and darker on the rest of the hair, is where any tip to get it more smooth color ? C ause i am afraid that if im leaving it to much in front it will be more bright red.

Umoya Ministries: I'm so sick of paying a heap of money to get my hair done... i'm a henna artist and it occurred to me ahhh why don't I just henna it? Great video.. excited to try this x

Ms j: Hi Kadesha Thank you for this video. Why is it bad to use vaseline? How does it affect the process?

Sandra K: I would love to see some women with my hair type using henna. I'm a wavy haired, (2bish) irish/scottish heritage, who when not using dye, has a ashy medium brown hair color on the fine side,. I would say I have high porosity, oily roots, dry length. I have about 10% of gray and would love to achieve a dark Mahogany shade using Henna and I need some direction from your expertise. I ordered from another company last week, but I found you and I am thinking about returning the products, I have not even received them yet lol. I feel you have a lot of experience and good advice and your products seem to be great quality sooooo I would like your recommendation on your products to try and acheive my hair color goals. Nice rich color, cover the grays, healthier hair using healthier hair products :))). I am hypothyroid and do not want to use chemical dyes anymore and I am committed to making the change :). I love how you have a course for professionals to learn about henna as they don't learn about henna and not much about curly/wavy hair either in cosmotology school. I have never left a salon feeling like my hair looked great and am hoping to love Henna! Thanks so much! Sandy

Nyett: Great video! Love the black dolls. Would love to purchase them.

KiaMichelle: Very informative and much appreciated:) Do you think you’d ever sell a premixed application for hair coloring?

Doctor Anna: Should it be applied to wet or dry hair??

nissa mokoginta: Can you please do a video ? On doing aftercare after using henna

in-the-anomaly: That last lady was a hoot! So cool that you offer this. I want someone to wash it out for me as well. I just don't want the mess. I have a leaded hose, so that is not an option.

Rob Anderson: If I colored my hair a week ago and don’t like the color, how long do I have to wait before I recolor.

Gladys King: Plan to share with my Stylist. Love to know more about coloring grey hair on the roots. I have sister locks. Thanks like what i'm seeing

Chafester: Thank you so much for this video. It is extremely helpful. BTW, where did you get the dolls?

Nichole Mack: Great video sister ❤️

B. T.: Now I see what I was doing wrong. I was using to little henna. You seem like, literally, drowning their hair in henna, where I was almost to scarce. My gray roots just would not colour! By the way: any recommendations for 2a types? Thanks! I love your videos.

Eline: Great video! I would love if you ever make an asmr video of you applying henna to someone hahaha

Andrea M: Most stylists wont include henna color process because of time

Spiritual Coaching with Ari Mac: Great information

Nemuni: Could you expand to Germany please? xD I would love to take classes and buy your products but the shipping costs are riddicilous :(

Helena Lewis: Can u do more on locs and henna and its applications?

Vanessa C: Some are saying Henna is not good for curly hair, makes it frizzy and hard so I’m alil nervous. I have low porosity hair which it’s already tough to retain moisture. I heard Henna coats the hair making it tougher for moisture to come in. What would you recommend for that please?

Angelina Cortes: What can I do to lighten the results to get a copper red on dark brown hair???

Timothy Bean: Thanks for all you do. The only thing I would have liked would be to have seen the results. Best wishes!

Johnna C.: Love this vid.... Please do a whole video with a client with locs ♥️

Rose Rosey: My hair was super dry and it was really difficult to have the henna on. So yeah next time i will make sure to spray some water over my hair.

Theresa Jackson: Yes! I've already shared it with my stylists

Jessica Holmes: All of your clients are so precious

Emma Gutierrez: My problem with henna is that you have to leave on for 3 to 4 hours, would have wanted to see the results

Dana Fisher: I use two conditioning caps, tie the edges down, put my bonnet on, wrap in silk scarf then a ski cap LOL I get heat one way or another.... do you recommend sitting under a hooded dryer with the shower caps and bonnet??

Samantha Jackson: Im a witness. Very soothing to the scalp when massage. Love love. ❤️
