I wanted to do this treatment since Christmas last year but for some reason never had time to do it because I knew how much time it takes. Please watch the whole video and be aware of everything I'm mentioning about this Keratin Treatment, it has his pros and cons but in my opinion the final result is so worth it. Let me know if you ever tried this treatment or any similar to this one.
I did mentioned in the video that this was my fourth time using this Kativa Brazilian Straightening Treatment at home, but I also got it done at the hair salon and obviously it was more expensive and they used salon products (or idk), my point is that I'm familiar with this treatment.
If you decide to do this treatment by yourself at home please make sure you read and follow the instructions carefully.
Anyway, this is how I do it by myself at home and it works for me.

Hello, beautiful welcome back. I hope you are doing well today, I'm going to show you how I do this keratin hair treatment at home, using my only two hands. I wish I had six or ten, and this is the brand I can find where I live. It'S called cat Eva, and this is the Brazilian straightening treatment and guys are familiar with hair, relaxers or hair straightening treatments. You probably know what this is and how it works, but if you guys want to see how I do it by myself at home struggling a lot, I have to say that I did struggle a lot in the process is so long but anyway, if you guys Want to see how I do this by myself at home how it works for me and if you have frizzy curly damaged hair like me, you want to see this video trust me so yeah keep on watching. Okay. First, you need to know that the process of doing this treatment at home it takes a very long time. It took me like four hours to do this. That'S because I was filming at the same time when I'm not filming and doing this treatment. It takes me two hours and I have almost three hours kinda but yeah. That'S because I was filming. It took me a little longer four hours, so yeah spending four hours just to do your hair is a very long time, but trust me, the final result, is still worth it and by the way, I'm filming the intro the next day. I did this treatment yesterday. It was like 10 p.m. when I finished everything, and I said you know what I am not feeling capable to film the intro, so you had to step away from this last night because it was so late. I was so tired. My arms wearing pain have to be aware of that. Your arms gon na hurt bad, I'm not I'm, not joking, ok, so yeah. This was the most important thing you need to know about this treatment that it takes a very long time. If you have someone to help you, oh oh, my god that tastic and i want to give you as much information as I can about this. If I'm not mentioning something, please ask me down below this was my fourth time using this treatment same brand same kit same everything, and I have to say that I'm very happy with the results. It says that this can last up to ten weeks, but in my opinion, I think this lasts a little longer than that obviously depends on. The quality of your hair depends on your hair. Obviously I have very thin frizzy curly hair. So on me, this lasts a little longer than ten weeks. As I said, twelve weeks or so yeah. As I said, I have very fine curly frizzy extra frizzy you've seen the video how frizzy my hair is and also is damaged at the ends, but my hair was damaged before I did this treatment. So honestly, I don't know exactly the level of the damage. This can do to your hair. As I said, my hair was damaged before I did this treatment. My ends were super dry burnt and I need a trim. But after doing this treatment, you can see that the ends are still damaged, but you can't feel that when you touch the hair, my hair feels so incredibly soft. It doesn't tangle anymore, which is so nice because having frizzy hair, you know the deal with frizzy hair. It hangers like crazy and, as I said, my hair feels so soft. I'M going to show you what you get inside of this kit, but, as I said, I already did this treatment yesterday and I still have some leftover products. They don't recommend to save the leftover products because they will go back in time. You can still use the shampoo and the conditioner, but is not saved, so you know to keep the leftover products like the keratin treatment. Also, they don't recommend to do this more than three times a year, because you know it's not. That would do it very often, but it's recommended to do it twice a year depending on your hair quality. As I said, you can do this up to three times a year, but they don't recommend it to do it very often because this can damage your hair. Obviously, so I'm going to show you what we have inside it came with shampoo and conditioner. Obviously - and you have to pay attention of the numbers of the products you see in a second, why, then we have another shampoo. This is a pre treatment, shampoo. You have to use it first, and this is the keratin treatment as we can see. It comes in a large container, but this is half way full halfway empty, depending how you want to look at things in life. You know this is half way full and they also provide us with some shitty gloves so annoying they're too big. I didn't use them and obviously instructions and, oh my god, you guys leaves follow the instructions, as they say, make sure you follow them step-by-step as they say, because I'm sure you don't want to burn your hair right. I know I don't. The steps are very simple. Very easy to follow, but, as I said, this is the very long process. Okay, so we can see better the results here and if you guys want to see how I went from the frizzy messy hair to the silky, smooth, very nice-looking one well just keep on watching. I already washed my hair with this pretreatment shampoo. As you can see, I still have a little bit left. I don't know if I'm going to save that next, I'm going to brush my hair and then I'm going to blow-dry the hair and make sure this is completely dry, including the scalp and yeah. This is how my hair looks very cute and, as you saw, I like to use a t-shirt to dry my hair, I don't like to dry the hair with the towel. I feel like that dries out my hair, like crazy. My hair is already frizzy and I don't want that and wow. This is what I call a transformation so yeah, that's it. I hope you guys enjoyed the video bye. I'M just kidding next, I'm going to work in section, so you're gon na need a hair clip and first I started to apply the keratin. This is the step to make sure you follow the instructions, as I said in the beginning of the video, and it doesn't smell bad when you first apply it on the hair and as you can see, I started to apply this with a brush and then I Use my hand because it was easier so make sure you saturate every single section of your hair, make sure you soak your hair into this mask and next I'm going to let that sit for about 15 minutes and please read the instructions. It'S very very important to follow every step, as they say, and the next I'm going to take this comb and I'm going to come down my hair, I'm going to remove the excess product in my hair. You'Ll see how much product comes out so make sure you remove the excess product, because this will make the next step a little bit easier, even though it's a very long process. So next step is to dry out the hair, and I can't blow-dry my hair to save my life. I struggled a lot and if you have someone to help you - oh my god, that's amazing. So you have to make sure the hair is completely dry, because next we are going to straighten the hair and you don't want the hair to be wet for that part. So, as I said, I struggled a lot. This is how the hair looks when is dry. Is a little bit sticky to the touch, but it's normal because we have product on it and next step is straightening. The hair make sure you work in very, very small sections and also very important when you go and add hit on the product. This will release a toxic smoke, so it's better to do this treatment with your windows open or do it outside if you can or on your balcony, who cares if your neighbor watches you and ironing each section eight to twelve times? That'S what the instruction says. I think you can do a little more than that, depending on your hair. I don't think I did eight to twelve times every section I don't know um somebody did more on some. I did less, but you have to make sure you spend a few minutes on each section and after you're done with all the straightening you have to let the hair sit for like five to six minutes. Let it chill for a bit you put so much [ __ ] on it. Let it chill - and this is how it looks after I'm done with all the straightening it looks like I did a pretty good job, but we will see that after I wash the hair, so the final step is to wash the hair with shampoo and conditioner. I have to say that the hair feels so smooth, so silky is so soft to the touch and brushing the hair. It was, oh, my god, so easy. Next, I'm going to dry the hair, so you can see the final result and I think I'm done with this voice over. Please continue to watch the video, because I have more interesting information about this treatment so yeah. This is how it looks when the hair is dry. I'M very very pleased with the results. Oh my god, I wish I did a better job on the back, but you know I only have two hands so yeah anyway. Please continue to watch the video. This is pretty much everything you have to do. Other said: follow the instructions step by step, make sure you don't miss anything. I know it's so easy to give up at some point. You'Re gon na get tired your hands gon na get tired. They will hurt like crazy and you'll get frustrated, and I know it's so easy to give up, but talking about because the end result is so worth it, and if I can do it, you can do it too. Trust me, you have to take this with calm. You have to be positive that the end result. It'S so worth the time you spend on your hair and yeah, also very, very important. This treatment will brighten your hair up to 2 to 3 shades depending on the hair, but my hair was black before I did. This treatment, and now it has this reddish brownish color, as you can see so yeah, this treatment will mess with your hair color and if you want to put color back on the hair, I will say to wait at least one week. You know it is not good to put that many chemicals on the hair in this short amount of time. So it's better to wait a little bit. I will probably die my hair back again next week. So that's that I don't know if, like I covered what was the most important for you to know, if you want to do this treatment at home and that's that it takes way too long. You have to be prepared, but you already know that this takes too long because you watch the video ask someone to help you that will cut the time in half. This will change your hair color, don't save the leftover products because they will go bad in time. Don'T overdo this, you know twice a year, maybe three times a year, your hands gon na hurt like crazy. If you decide to do this by yourself, but trust me, the end result is so worth it. This will last up to 10 weeks, depending on your hair quality, hair type hair. Overall, I say: don't overdo it. This can get a big thing. Trust me, I know what I'm saying, but you know the feeling of not worrying to do your hair every single day. That'S such a luxe feeling trust me and by the way I woke up like this, you guys I woke up like this with his hair. Zaina S: Just putting it there for lore help lol. My mom is a hairdresser and she often performs keratin straightening treatments. And she recommends that after you blow and flat iron your hair you should wait to four days for your first wash it’ll make the treatment last longer and really let the hair take in the keratin. Last til for the hair color, if you don’t want to go lighter you should color your hair one week before you do the treatment one level darker than you usually color it, oh and try to not tie your hair in the first four days or at least very lose and down. And that’s about it chicas.
Xela Klement: I have done this on my friends hair and she has almost black hair with a clear curl pattern and a lot of frizz. One package was way enough for mid back hair length. The results are AMAAZING! We did it 2 months ago now and still her hair looks smooth and straight. The quality of her hair looks better than before so i don't know what to say if it's damaging or not, it didn't lighten the color much, really not even noticeable so don't worry too much if your hair is naturally very dark.. I'm so grateful for this video because you can easily do step by step without making any mistakes.I would recommend having someone doing it for you and watching this video before for the best results. I suppose it's possible to do it on your own but even my arms started to hurt after a while and it wasn't even my head !! If anyone wants i will update when i help her with the second application. My hair is wavy curly and i like my hair after the shower but the day after the shower it looks so messy. İt's healthy but I'm so tired of the upkeep i just want to feel good with my hair all the time. You are so gorgeous. Thanks a lot for the video it helped me feel better about my decision. (I'll edit the post for an update on how it went when i do this perm) After two months I am making this edit. It took me a week or two to get the kit bc I struggled with the payment bc of the site i was buying it from. It all worked out. I used the mask. Here is my BIGGEST TIP!! DONT USE TOO MUCH. The mask is a super thick. When on the hair it is like liquid glue. Your hair becomes incredibly annoying to work with and you really have to put on just the right amount especially so that the heat can work into your hair. I will say I was stupid i slapped the whole bottle on my hair. Don't do that. apply in smalllll small sections. it should be more like a light coating all over your hair. I don't think it damaged my hair at all. I did have bleached hair before this I had done 2 years ago. The bleach I had lightened up. but it wasn't any more damages than my hair already was. Overall it was good but after the shower i still had to give myself a good blowout with the hair dryer. maybe it was bc i didn't apply it right but in the end if i wouldn't do anything after the shower and let it air dry that would not be good, it would look funny. :) At the end of the day, i would do this again. The effects are still on my hair. I think how long it can go for really depends on your natural hair texture. I also think its ok to not use all the mask and keep it for later. I left a small amount to see if the mask would go bad or become acidic but it smells and works just like the first time i bought it. So i think its ok if you keep the product after you are done if you have some left over. Its actually good because if you find out you missed some spots a week after you can fix it up with whatever you have left. If you're thinking about using this product. Do it. It's very good.
