Hey you guys it's alia and today i'll be taking you behind the scenes of me launching my brand goddess curls. So just to start, i'm showing you all the boxes. I have that have a whole bunch of items that i need so right here. You just see some bubble wrap some bubble. Mailers you'll see my glass bottles that the oils will obviously be inside um before i, you know, started doing the rest of my stuff. My oldest daughter, malia woke up and she just wanted to say, hi and show you her missing teeth. She is losing all her teeth, but yeah now, i'm just unpacking my oils. So this is the peppermint oil also the tea tree oil. I just got these off of amazon, but my other oils, the jojoba, the caster, the olive and the avocado - are from essential whole sale. Since i needed way more of those oils, i got them wholesale so that i could get a really good price. So again, i'm just showing you my glass bottles. I got these from alibaba if you need bottles, if you need literally, if you need anything for your business in bulk, definitely check them out. First, i did get a good couple hundred of um bottles and droppers for a really good price right here. These are just the pieces to the droppers. They came separately so i will have to put them together, but first i am going to sanitize my bottles and droppers. One of you want to make sure everything is nice and sanitized before you start adding product, and you know shipping it to people. So i put some hot water on or i put some water on, the stove got it nice, hot and boiling. I could have put my uh bottles and things in the pot, but i decided to just put them in two separate bowls. So first i'm gon na add some white vinegar to the bowls and then i will add the boiling hot water and then from there. I will just start putting in the bottles making sure they're all saturated in this nice hot water um, so that it can kill any germs and bacteria that were on it um and then you know once they've been in there for a minute or not a minute, But for a while, i will take them out place them on some napkins so that they can dry completely um and then repeat - and i will also do the same exact thing for the droppers and all the pieces and things so i'll. Just show you that process and this actually took a lot longer than i expected. Not only did i have you know i had a couple hundred of bottles but um i don't know i don't i'm trying for the next time. I definitely do want to figure out a way to like speed up this process, so maybe i'll use like a big tub or a big like huge container or something and put water. I don't know, but all i know is this took forever gon na me. So after one entire day of letting everything dry, these are my clean bottles and my clean droppers all put together. So now i am going to start labeling um, i'm going to show you show you guys my labels, i made them myself. I actually got the logo done by someone on etsy and then i did just create the logo on canva and then to print the logo. I went to uprint.com or uprinting.com and it was really really easy to do and they gave me again a really good price for all of my labels, so yeah. I am just going to start taking the labels apart and putting them on the bottles and y'all. I did not realize how hard it was to label bottles. I thought you know you just stick it on and then it's perfect, but i'm not gon na lie some of the bottles. I did put the label a little bit too high. So then it started to like crinkle a bit, but then some of the bottles have like crooked labels, and i promise you like. I was at eye level. I was going nice and slow, but i don't know what happened. So if you got one of those labels, please it's not a lot, but if you got one of those labels just know, i worked real hard on this and it's made with love and the product still works. You guys so yeah, i'm gon na speed past this part as well behind me, so these are all of my bottles completely labeled up. I just want. I wanted you guys to see all the bottles, but now i am about to start filling the bottles so um. I think i did these on different days. I honestly can't remember, but i guess it doesn't really matter um. So now, i'm about to start mixing my oils together. So i showed you guys the oils i had, i'm not going to actually like show you the measurements and how much i'm pouring in the cups and things like that, because this is my own formula for my um oil. So obviously, i'm not going to give you guys exact measurements, but you got you guys, know the oils that i use the jojoba, the castor, the avocado, the um olive and then the essential oils, the peppermint and tea tree. So yeah, i'm gon na you know figure out how much i need to pour to get started. Then i'll just mix that on up with my little utensil um, i didn't add the essential oils to the big bowl. I actually added the essential oils after i filled my bottles so next time i probably would not do that. I do not know why i didn't just add the essential oils to the mixture and then i could have just you know it just would have been much faster but hey like i said, trial and error. I'M gon na figure it all out. So i watched a few videos on how people poured their you know, oils into their bottles, and some people use like measuring cups, but i just felt like that could easily turn into a huge spill, and i did not want to do that. So i found that using these syringes was just perfect. It fits directly into the bottle. There'S no spills, there's no accidents. Anything like that. So i got the syringes off of amazon and i'm just going to take. You know the amount that i need and then fill it into the bottles, and i kind of just eyeball it when it comes to filling the bottles, because i don't want it to be too full to where you know it might overflow. When i put the dropper in or it's just you know, you don't want it too cool, but i did do that and then, like i said, i'm going to add the essential oils i'm going to kind of fast forward through that. So you guys don't know like all the details, how many drops and all that, but once i do that, i'm gon na put my dropper in give it a nice little shake and that's my first bottle. So now i am just going to repeat those exact same steps so now, instead of using one bottle, but one bottle at a time um i'm going to be filling two bottles at a time and then, like i said, adding the essential oils putting the top in Shaking it and then going on to the next, then i think i worked my way up to four bottles at a time, then i was doing eight bottles at a time, ten bottles at a time. I think i stopped filming by that point, but i kind of got a rhythm down, and so it just worked perfectly - and i put some music on so i was just in the zone is, is so these are all of my bottles completely packaged up you guys. I was so proud of myself. I think i sat there for like five six hours straight um, even with the girls at home, uh, making sure that i filled all of these. I wanted it done in one day. I didn't want to keep it dragging on so yeah now, i'm fast forwarding to a couple days later, when i launched i launched 7-2 2021 and i got a great amount of orders on the first day. So you guys see me, i'm printing, my labels. I do use the website shopify, so it's so easy to just print your labels um from the site. I don't have to like go into you usps and like pay for anything like everything is prepaid and all that so i did get my thermal label printer from amazon, so that is what i'm using to print off my labels. Obviously so i'm going to take that off then i'm going to put it on my cute little pink uh bubble mailers, so they do have like the bubble material on the inside, but just to make sure you know i am shipping with glass and we know sometimes People can be careless with packages, so i i also wrapped the bottle in some bubble, wrap on its own, which you guys will see in some of the other clips. I don't know why it was already wrapped. I can't remember, but yeah i'm going to put that as well as my business card or not my business card. My thank you slash business card into the little um mailer, so yeah super duper cute. You guys. I also made this thank you card off of canva and i actually printed it off or from canva, and they gave me a good price as well. So once i do that, i'm just going to seal it, and that is my first order, cause you're sure sure. So i totally forgot that i have bought these fragile, please handle with care stickers that i wanted to put on the um packages. Just because, like i said, they're glass - and i just want them - workers to know don't be throwing these packages around. So i did go back and put them on the other packages and then, as i was packing, the other you know orders i had, i made sure to add those as well so i'll. Just let you guys watch is so. I think i am just going to end it off here. I think you guys kind of get the gist of what i was doing, but i do want to sit here and thank you guys for your continued support over the years. I know um, quite a few of you guys ordered two of them, so i'm very thankful and grateful for you guys and just supporting me and making this launch amazing. I do still have some oils left. Elixir people have already started to um receive theirs they're telling me they love the smell and all that. So i'm just excited to see their thoughts um. This was the first day where i had dropped off some orders. I forgot to film it, but then this was another day where i dropped off even more and again, i'm just so grateful. I love it on my hair, so i know you guys will love it on yours and more products and things coming soon. I can't promise when these things take time, but yeah um. This is just something random. Also, if no one has told you yet, you can get a rubbermaid bin or tote (i'm not sure what you know it by, it has several names) but most people use them for clothes...but you can get several of those, to sanitize. One for the bottles, one for the pipette, one for the top, etc.

Paris Tyler: Yassss!! Working women over there. I have a edible company & I sterilized my bottles as well & everything done by hand at home just like u. The fastest way is using the kitchen sink, clean the sink before using it, then fill it up with your water. If u have double sinks even better
