It should go fast pan and today, I'm gon na share with you guys how I transformed her hair into these beautiful purple. Hombre box braids and I used hair that was sent to me by ex trend hair guys. This is the color number 52 and I didn't blow her hair out just because well. The first thing is that it was wet and also it just blends a lot better when you're working on type 4 hair if it's blown out. So I didn't do like a hard hard straighten, but I did want to blow it out a little bit just to help me out in my styling time so guys. This is the hair, I'm showing you guys up close this beautiful purple hombre and they sent me five packs and guys this hair is bond. This is my second video using their hair, and this color is like pop pin. Okay, definitely some of the best color hair that I've worked with, and I did have to feather the ends of it so to feather it. I'M just holding it loosely in my hand and I'm pulling down on the ends of the hair, and this is probably like the easiest hair that I have feathered ever in life. Typically, I try to buy pre feathered hair just because I hate this step, but I am showing you guys how I'm doing it here. If you need more detail, I have a video already on how to feathered hair so, like you guys, have been asking me and it's already on my channel and I'm not gon na make another video on it. So I'll leave that in the description section for you guys and since out today, I'm using Murray's edge wax. This is not the extreme hole. So just keep that in mind, because there's two different types of Marissa edge wax and I'm gon na be free parting. Her hair, so I'm not doing like square parts. Three parts are more like half circles and a lot of people like free parts, just because it looks a lot more natural when the braids laid down - and I know like a lot of African shops - do free parting and I realized I didn't have a video on My channel with that, so I'm gon na show you guys how I do my free parts and if you would like to see up close how I am positioning the hair of my hand and how I connect it. I am gon na you, so with free partying is very similar to box braids. You want to make sure that your next row is falling in between the row that you just did and that's how you I'll show you guys how I positioned the hair. In my hand, before attaching it - and I did slow this down just because I know it's super confusing for some people, so basically I'm splitting the two pieces in half I'm gon na take one piece and wrap it around the top of the other piece. So they're pretty much gon na be looped around each other, so I'm gon na take one side of that and I'm gon na put it in between my pointer and my thumb finger and then I'm gon na take my middle finger and place it. On top of that same piece, the next piece I'm gon na take and I'm gon na put it over my middle finger and in between my pointer, my thumb finger that last piece. I'M just gon na wrap around my pointer finger just like that, and that's exactly how I hold the hair before I go to attach it when I go to attach this to her natural hair, I'm gon na be putting it in between my thumb and my middle Finger and I use my pointer finger to kind of like create three different sections and that's how I attach it, and I have like a super detailed video, where I show you guys: seven different ways to attach hair and to start box braids so like before. You guys asked me these questions, please just search in my channel I'll try to start linking videos in the description section. Just so you guys know, but a lot of the questions that you guys ask me. I already have videos on. I already have videos on how I attach it. I already have videos on how I better the hair and I'm gon na be doing like some product hauls and I'm just giving you guys some more tips about box braids. So please hang tight for that and yeah. So, look how pretty this color is. This is the hair. Before I did it and like I said they sent me five packs of hair and I really felt like I needed six, because the top of it was a little thin and I wanted to make that a little more full for her. But I didn't have enough hair and it's not like I could run out to the beauty, supply and grab more. So if you do end up ordering here from them and you're doing box braids, I would recommend like six packs of hair and yeah, I'm showing you guys the hair. When I'm dipping it. I wanted to use a clear container just so I can show you guys that the hair does not bleed into the water, so the color is not bleeding off, and somebody asked me about that and so here's, the water, you can see that it's still clear the Color is still poppin on this hair, y'all and yeah. I have a question when your doing box braids how are you getting the braids to be the same thickness from root almost to the end before it feathers off at the end? I remember when i got box braids one time the thickness of the braids were not consistent like it got thin/ feathered out way before it was close to the end. I hope that makes sense. I like the way you do it the braids don’t get thin till the ends not in the middle of the braids

Nyny B: With free parting (arch parts) you can try starting in the front to get a fuller effect.. and that way on the back you can make the parts a little bigger and it won’t look thin in the front. Thats the strategy i use. And its always a success.
