Manika Gorham: It will lay your edges but watch out it has alcohol in it and will break your edges off. If your going to use it you should mix it with an edge tamer or hair oil because it tends to get a little flaky.

It’s also reactivates when you wet it soo you don’t need to apply more. I can do a wash and go and use this gel and not have to apply any more for the next week. I just wet it and I can put it up or down or in buns and my curls still look great and the gel still holds great.

I put it on my edges and then wrap my edges with a hair scarf for 10-15 min,(the longer the better ofc), and it holds ALL DAY until i wash it out lol the only thing that works and i use to hold my edges down. The red bottle snot gel is less tacky and doesnt hold well in my hair so people with fine hair should use that one instead.
