Hi everyone welcome back to my channel in this video. I'M gon na show you how to make onion juice for extreme hair growth, how to apply it on your scalp and i'm also gon na talk about the differences between red and brown onions. Brown onions are also called. Yellow, onions and red onions are also called purple. Onions, i'm gon na start by peeling and cutting my brown onion. So after i'm finished, i'm putting all the onion pieces in a plate and set it aside. While i peel and cut my red onion so now, i'm putting all the brown onion pieces in my blender, it was a little bit difficult to blend at the beginning. You might experience the same thing and be tempted to add water, but please don't add any water to this. You want your onion juice to be concentrated for more efficiency. One tip is to use a knife, a spoon, a fork to push the onion pieces on the blender blades and use the pulse setting of your blender at the beginning. Once enough, onion juice is produced, you can use the other setting of the blender and just let it blend. You will end up with a piece that looks like this put the onion paste in your filter bag and extract the juice. These are the residues left in the filter bag. You can use them in soups, sauces and other food. They have a pale yellow color. Now i'm gon na go ahead and blend my red onion pieces. You can actually mix your brown and red onion pieces together, but i wanted to separate them for the purpose of this video and, as i said earlier, i would like to show you the differences between brown, onions and red onions here, i'm separating the red onion residues From the juice, as i did with the brown onion here are the residues. They have a pale purple color. You can also use them in your soups sauces and other food. I'M gon na go ahead and put the juices in the same container by using both red and brown onions, you're gon na get the best from each of them for your hair follicles and promote healthy, strong and thick hair growth. Onions were scientifically proven to stimulate hair growth. It'S a very affordable hair growth treatment. I talk about it in detail in another video, so make sure to check it out. I will put the link in the info card and the description box. The obvious difference between red and brown onions is their color. Red onions contain what we call anthocyanins, which are absent from brown. Onions anthocyanins give red onions. Their color anthocyanins can also take different colors depending on their types and the ph of the environment. Here i'm gon na share with you a little experiment: i'm gon na put liquid citric acid on my red onion residues on the left and liquid baking soda on my red onion residues on the right. So here i'm just mixing some baking soda and a little bit of mineral water. My liquid citric acid has a ph of 1.. It'S acidic. My liquid baking soda has a ph of 9.. It'S alkaline! I'M gon na go ahead and put some citric acid on my red onion residues. As you can see, they turn from purple to red. Now, i'm gon na add baking soda to the red onion residues on the right. As you can see, they start to turn green. See the difference now, i'm gon na show you this experiment using the onion juice i've made previously in this video. I forgot to do this experiment before mixing the two different juices together, but it's okay, because the juice is purple, so it has a lot of anthocyanins in it. I'M adding citric acid on the left and baking soda on the right. The same color changes occur. We have now three colors red purple and green anthocyanins can be red, pink purple, green or blue. I'M gon na do this experiment with brown onion residues, i'm adding citric acid on the left. There is no color change, then i'm adding baking soda on the right and the residues have a bright, yellow. Color. Now brown onions are richer in quercetin and its derivatives than red, onions, quercetins and its derivatives are antioxidants responsible for the yellow and brown skins of yellow or brown onions. Now, it's time to apply the onion juice. I'M gon na section my hair first using my white tooth comb. As you can see, my hair is super tangled, but i'm doing my best do my hair already has some oils and butters on it, but i'm gon na add a little bit more here. I'M using my diy oil mix, you can check the video in the info card to see how i make this oil mix. Then i'm gon na apply some of my buttercream, especially on the tips of my hair. Then i'm gon na twist my hair, i'm doing the same on the rest of my hair. This step is very important to protect your hair against the possible drying effect of onion juice. However, onion juice is not as drying on your hair as black tea or green tea. For example, i've made a video about black tea and i talk about why it also stimulates your hair growth. You don't want to miss this information, so make sure to check out this video. I will put the link in the description box. Do i have a twist in total, i'm gon na go ahead and apply the onion juice. Onion juice is very rich in nutrients. That will nourish your hair follicles for optimal hair growth. It'S very rich in antioxidants and sulfur compounds that will protect your hair follicles against oxidative stress. The antioxidants in onion juice also have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Onion juice also contains inositol, which increases hair's elasticity and reduces the surface. Friction of your hair inositol helps to make your hair stronger, applying onion juice on your scalp also increases blood circulation so that more nutrients can be supplied to your hair follicles, which contributes to faster hair growth, do do. Of course, you can remove your twist to make sure to not miss out any area of your scalp. You can also apply the onion juice on your scalp, using a cotton pad it's more time consuming, but you can just do this method in the front of your hair, just to avoid the onion juice to come into your eyes. Yes, onion juice can burn your eyes. So be very careful once you're done applying the juice on your scalp, you can give yourself a scalp massage to stimulate your hair growth. Even more. I'Ve made a video about cup, massaging too so make sure to check it out. To finish, i'm gon na put my conditioning cap and let the onion juice sit on my scalp for maximum two hours after two hours, i'm removing the conditioning cap. I realized it leave the gray color on my hair, so i will never use that again. I will just stick with regular plastic bags after this treatment. I'M going to wash my hair with my coffee, peppermint shampoo bar, it says very well and leaves my hair very soft. Then i'm gon na use a conditioner that i'm testing out. If i like it, i will share the recipe with you guys. That'S it for this video. Thank you so much for watching and i'll catch you in the next one

UnivHair Soleil: ✨How To Use Onion Decoction For Massive Hair Growth (No Bad Smell) : https://youtu.be/ELz1HykdgY8

Nana Abena-Afriyie: Anyone having problem with blending should use aloe vera as a substitute for water... that's what I do and it helps

DEANA K JEFFERSON: Thanks for sharing! I can attest to the benefits of onions not for hair growth but as a child I can remember when when we were sick with fever my grandmother would put sliced onions on the bottom of our feet under our socks to draw fever out of the body to this day I still use this natural remedy, it’s especially great for children!

Charisma: How often do you use the onion juice? How long have you been using the onion juice? Is the onion juice what helped grow your hair to its current length?

Atlanta Katt: I’m totally lost about this procedure, the acidic test vs alkaline. Can you list the steps for the oil and the directions below to make this video less confusing. Love your natural hair.

Z o ë L i f e: Adding tea tree and peppermint really helped mask the smell.

PeaceLoveLight808: I prefer to use a juicer to avoid the paste step. But onion juice is awesome!

Tila Sole: Your gorgeous and informative, but you made the video almost ten more minutes than it needed to be. We did not need to see both onions chopped up or every piece picked off the table or a few hair twists.

Gina Onyemaechi 😊: Hello UHS, Thank you for these tips. I just use Onion & Horseradish concentrate (from Herbs Hands Healing) on my hair as it basically offers ready-made onion juice along with other hair-benefiting ingredients :) Anyway, what remedy, if any, can you suggest for scarring in the hair follicles? This may or may not be why my hair, a natural afro, has been stuck at 5 inches of length for years now (even though I use onion juice, amla, brahmi, aloe vera and other growth-boosting ingredients on it). I just don't ever get any new growth (so it's not the case that my hair grows but then breaks off). Weaves and extensions don't work either. Can you think why my hair just doesn't grow (if follicle damage is not the problem) and what I can do about it (if anything)? TIA (if you reply).

Betty Queen: Why does the juice need to filter slowly? How about using a regular filter that does the job quickly? Love the results you are getting, great job!

AllYouGet: I have a cold juice presser and I juice red onion, aloe and ginger and I add olive oil at the end. I put it on my edges daily for the hair I loss there from tight braids. The odor isnt pleasant but you can feel it tingling right away.

Edna Bergen: I'll surely use the onion juice in my hair. It seems to be a wonderful product to make my hair grow fast.

Aahil Anthony Lees: Well when your blending your onions all you have to do is throw the oil into the blender and onion will blend up and when you finish you take a straightener and you strain it up and you got the onion juice oil

Cara M: Thanks for another informative video! I have wavy/curly tailbone length hair & I love using natural products however, this would be the last on my list to try

Miyisha Boone: How many inches does your hair grow in a month also how often do you apply this treatment in a month?

Yetta Boo: Nice tips..I personally use my juicer machine for this process its much faster just dropping the whole onion in then catching the juice into my Mason jar then place it into the refrigerator until I'm ready to use it

shahrukh najmi: Amazing tricks ,thanks for sharing . Ma'am please also share recipe of shampoo and conditioner also.

Keisha Puryear: Should I wash my hair before? Or use oils/butters first or whatever products are already in my hair. Will clean hair absorb the onion juice better?

Blessing Oyigbo: Can one use this for hair that has been relaxed?

Amoya A. A.: Love this video...will definitely be trying on my hair

Yemi Asfawe: Can i use to mix coconut oil or olive oil?

TennisBlossom: How long does it last in fridge if you have leftovers? Thank you for this video!!

Ohio USA: I'm lost on the experiment with the citric acid & baking soda. Is this to prove mixing the 2 makes it alkaline?

oladele nicol: Great video, well done. Can you give me your honest opinion on which one is better, the onion oil or the juice? Thanks for replying.

Justine - Marie Senchim: Can you put it in Shea butter as hair food?

beatrice kakai: Wow i need to try this. How many times should i apply this and how long does it take to see the results

Hattie Colley: Beautiful hair, thank u for sharing. I have seen so many remedies on Hair Growth, and I am sure there are many more, but some work for some people, and some need to be aware of the damage. For example, Rice Water totally broke my hair off several months ago, and I only used it once and let it stay on for about 10 minutes. Sure, it made it strong, but afterwards, the breakage started. My hair was devistated. I have learned to Listen To My Hair, and it is flourishing well now. I know it works for some people, but not myself. Your hair seem to be healthy, strong and long, and I am glad for u. I appreciate ur information, and continued success with it.

Laura Fermin: I heard about this hair treatment in the Dominican Republic. My friend uses this hair treatment and it really works. My only concern is the smell of the onion.

Letha Tobias: how long will the onion oil last before it goes bad? Is that a blow out on your hair?

Miss Nolver: I always use onion recipes for my hair...works like a charm

SmilEunice: Thank you for this video cus I just realized that I've been doing it wrong. I do add water but now......I've been enlighten. THANK YOU!!!

Andjela: Is it effective even if I put it on greasy hair?

Tabe Tryphene: How often can i apply it to my hair? I mean after how many days?

Nmesomachi Success: What did u apply on ur hair to darken it?

Rexzus Demonic time: You should sell this, it can make it easier for people

Ann-Marie Tucker: Can the onion juice use as a leave in treatment????

Shiro Njeru: Very nice and beautiful and for sharing the info...just wonder if you could speed up the obvious parts like cutting the onions...braiding your hair. But overall....well done

Jennifer L Jones: Okay I have a question how long do you let it stay in your hair and how many days do you spray your hair with onion water everyday every two weeks every 7 days I need to know cuz one of them products took my hair out

Sherita Rolle: When I used the onion juice do I have to shampoo and condition after?

Angela: Her hair is very beautiful but I think it's inherited NOT the onion juice. But onion juice helps to strengthen and help with baldness.

It's God's time and it's God's Body: My God it's like she is a Doctor, Chemist, and a Scientist to have all that knowledge of alkaline and acidity levels going into the hair. GOOD God GOD IS GOOD. Thank you Love. I will try to make my hair like hers so very beautiful.

kofi Antwi: Can it be used in a relaxed hair?

Rosesareredandpink: What butter cream are you using?

Amanda Nicole: Is this okay for a white girl with thin hair?? I ask bc I'm reading it dries out hair and I wonder if it's okay for thin hair. Thank you for this wonderful video

Keesha Maitland-Barreau: so adding raw onion juice to your hair, doesn't your hair reek of onion??? Just wondering as far as the scent factor.

Rosesareredandpink: Oil mix then cream butter then you twisted them, got it. After that you applied the Onion juice got it. Thanks but what cream butter did you use?

Peace Israel: What about the onion smell ? Or it should be washed thereafter?

Esta*: How long did it take you to grow your hair? And what can l use to remove the onion smell?

Erin V. Jackson: What do you do about the smell? I work in a hospital and the children have repertory illnesses.

Toshina Ellis: You can just run large pieces or whole through a juicer it is quicker than slicing up onions every time.

Rody Mensah: hi I just watched your video regarding hair . Does the onions also soften hair

Charity Ewusi: This is a question. Does the smell linger on you after washing your hair

Keisha Puryear: Aah should have watched the whole thing before asking if I should use oils/butters first since she explains it prevents the drying affects of the onion.

Zoe Yap: Do we use it everyday ? pls answer

Bechirfb Dhouib: I use onion Juice with water because it can irritate your scalp so for sensitive skin use water please

Daleah Dent: Where can I get the coffee peppermint shampoo bar?

Young's: U can aloe Vera too it helps

Suzzanah Aj: can theis mixture be applied on a relaxed hair?

Danni Bishop: Can i use aloe vera juice if i dont have the alie vera plant?

Nambenjere: I have used onion juice before. It works but what do you do with the smell. I use unions and my hair is 36cm but I just don't know what to do with the smell.

Scrubz.N.Squatz: Hi , do you have a video for the shampoo bar.

Genet Dejene: is that possible to get all the water from one onion

VanessaRenee.ButterflyReborn: Did you mix the both onion together in your squeeze bottle? And have you tried the white onion and green onion yet? Thx for the information on the red/purple onion and brown/Spanish onion. Asking cause I’m not sure if I should only get the red one or just use my brown/Spanish alone. Ugh silly question I know but I really would like some advice on onions.? Thanks again for the help!
