Beacon permanent powder haircolor, the following steps should be taken before starting the color application, always complete the preliminary skin test 48 hours before each application be sure here is clean and free of styling product build-up be sure to read the instructions provided in the box thoroughly before Use wear plastic gloves included in the box cover shoulders with a towel or cape for desired amount of beacon powder into nonmetallic, bowl or cup. Using the measuring tray included in the box. Add room temperature tap water, do not use hot or boiling water mix well slowly, with a brush to make a thick paste continue mixing until there are no powder lumps, and it's about the consistency of ketchup quickly apply the mixture on dry hair. If you are partially gray-haired start the application, where the hair is most gray, continue application until all hair is covered slowly. Comb color paste through the hair using a wide tooth comb. We need to ensure every hair strand is thoroughly covered with mixture. The total development time for non chemically treated here is 30 minutes. Development time for chemically treated hair is 15 minutes, set your timer for the appropriate amount of time. Total time of application and development time combined should not exceed 40 minutes to prevent finished haircolor from becoming too dark periodically check color development several times by wiping a strand of your hair with a cotton ball or paper tissue to adjust your developing time once desired. BlaqueBtr Fli: When applying hair color Do not let hair get wet for the first 24 - 72 hours after coloring. This will give the color a chance to set. This is what I have found to work for me. Of course I wash and condition my hair after coloring , but it depends on the brand of color I am using. I do not color my hair often, but I am currently a fan of Bigen powdered hair color. snatchedbahamas: I got this product for the first time for my mom as this was recommended by my cosmetology instructor she told me this covers gray well, it work Great but I was disappointed with how little it was. I wanted to add more water to make it more but didn't think it was a good idea since she had a lot gray

Veronica Morales: So my box came with 2 powdered bottles. Both say, permanent hair powder but they are different numbers 46 & 56 which I'm guessing is different colors? Am I suppose to mix them together or no? The instructions dont say to mix the 2 bottles but says, mix hair powder with water. So I'm at a loss. What's your opinions?

Nightbird: Most colors of Bigen I've tried makes my gray hair turn BLACK..with the exception of 04 Chestnut which made my hair an ugly bright orange-red color. So disappointed! ☹️
Ferney1c: I truly believe I’ve followed the instructions on how to apply this product but I’ve had problems. I’ve never been able to comb this product into my hair. It’s also difficult to wash out. Can I add extra water to the paste? Could it be that simple?

Sun Seeker: I LOVE Bigen. It's the ONLY hair color product that doesn't bleach my roots (which have gray) while I am dying my long hair brown! I can't use the hair color products on the market because of the peroxide and ammonia in them. Bigen is the only one that has ever worked for my hair.
