Hey y'all, it's your girl, sasha e, welcome back to my channel in today's video. We are going to be trying out a diy hair mask by cardi b. So i saw this hair mask tutorial on instagram and i couldn't wait to try it y'all. So my hair is in the perfect state to try it because, as y'all can see, my hair is so dry. You guys it is just dry, so i haven't done or touched my hair in about a week. So i thought that this was the perfect time to do a diy mask and just fill it back with all the nutrients and everything that it is missing. So i just wanted to come on here and show y'all my hair really quickly. I am going to go ahead and wash it with um these products here. So these are my favorite products at the moment. So this is the aussie miracle, moist shampoo and also the aussie miracle moist conditioner. So i just wanted to come on here and show you guys the actual state of my hair, just so that you guys can see you know where we're starting to see if it really works on my hair, alright guys. So these are all the ingredients that cardi b used in her hair mask. So the base of the mask is the avocado. She also added a banana at the end. She did use two eggs but, as i mentioned earlier, she was making the mask for not only herself but also for culture, so i think, since i'm making it for myself only that one egg should be fine. She added mayonnaise. She added uh, jamaican black, castor oil. She added honey, she didn't add a lot of honey, but she did add some honey. She also added avocado oil. She added a little bit of argan oil and then she also added olive oil. So when she said that she added the olive oil, she did point to the avocado oil so just to make sure that i'm staying consistent. I'M, like you know what i'll just go ahead and add both just in case she added both as well, and i do have my nutribullet over here to help me blend. So all i'm gon na do now is just add everything um to the nutribullet, so cardi b didn't use any specific measurements, so we are just going to wing it, and hopefully it comes out nice and creamy, like her mixture did so the first thing i'm going To do is put in one entire avocado, so i'm just going to go ahead and cut that this is nice and ripe. I wish i could eat this. Oh pretty! So i'm going to go in next with the banana. So i'm just going to put a half a banana in because she did only she put one banana in for her and coach's hair. So i'm just gon na go ahead and eat this yummy. So this is how it's looking so far, so we're going to go in and add some mayonnaise yikes alright. So i'm going to go in and add one egg. So then, i'm gon na go in with the honey. She didn't put a lot of this in so i won't put a lot in either just a little bit and then i'm going to add a little bit of olive oil and then i'm going to go in with some of my argan oil. So then, i'm gon na go in with my avocado oil and then last but not least, i'm gon na go in with my jamaican black, castor oil. So she did put a lot of this in hers. So i'm just gon na put a lot in mine as well all right that looks good. So i am just going to put the lid back on this and make sure that it's nice and tight, then i'm going to bring the nutribullet forward and we gon na see what it do. Ooh pretty very pretty. Oh, it's nice and thick, i'm just going to shake it a little bit. It is so nice and creamy you guys. So this is how it's looking, so i'm just going to shake it a little bit and then i'm going to blend it. One more time come on neutral, perfect, all right guys. So this is how it's looking, so i'm just gon na go ahead and take off the lid hold on wow, it's very nice and creamy, as you guys can see. Oh, it smells like banana. Like green bananas. Wow, it's super nice and creamy. All right so done, scraping it all out and you got to get it from out the blade too we're not wasting any of this. We are not wasting a thing we trying to get it all. Okay. This looks really good. Really. Creamy this look like i bought it at the store. Look at that well, yeah, all right! So i'm about to apply it to my hair and see what it's really talking about: really nice and creamy, alright guys. So i am done washing and conditioning my hair and, as you guys saw, i already made the mask and it came out really really good. So here it is very nice and creamy. So i'm going to start applying to the back section of my hair first and then i'm going to work my way up, so she didn't say in the video how long she actually kept the mask on so i'm just gon na. Do it like a regular, regular mask, i'm gon na go underneath the hooded dryer and then i'm gon na? Have it sit in my hair for a little while longer? So this is how my hair is looking come on. Let me get my um little towel like this might be messy. So, let's see oh, my hair feels really soft y'all see them curls, trying to pop yes come through cardi b. So far, so good for this section, as you can see, my curls are popping ooh. I likey all right: let's move on my hair really needs the moisture too. It is so dry, so this little section here and take a nice amount, so i have more than enough mass. So i'm gon na make sure that my hair is coated with um. This treatment right here, my curls, are definitely popping you guys look at that. You guys see that definitely popping, so i'm just gon na go ahead and i'm gon na twist this section up all right, so we are on to section two yo. This look like i done added a gel to my hair, like when i'm doing my wash and go's like my curls, are a pop pen. Yes, all right! Looking great okay, let's move on y'all, i don't broke the clip all right. Let'S move on! Do y'all see the definition that this thing is giving my hair like what wow, let me get y'all a close up, so y'all can see this definition. Okay, look at my hair y'all. Look at my hair, like my curls, are popping like i got on a gel y'all like if it was in green y'all, wouldn't be able to tell me that i didn't apply a gel like look at all these curls wow. Okay, let me move on guys, so these are the results. As you can see, my hair is super defined, it's legit, transforming before our eyes, so i am feeling this mask so far. Uh. Let me make sure i get some on my edges. Okay, but ages. All right so yeah, it's looking really good so far, so i'm gon na go ahead and just twist up this side, yes coated really well. Curls are popping like popping okay. Let me just go ahead and twist this side up perfect wow. All right. Let me go ahead and just do the rest and i will be right back all right guys, so i am done applying the mask. It is looking good so far. It feels really good and i love the definition that it's given me. I think this is the first time i've applied a mask and it defines my hair. This much like i felt like i was applying a gel to my hair because my definition was popping. So what i'm going to do now is i'm going to put on a shower cap and i think i'm going to sit underneath the dryer, so cardi b she didn't explain how long she kept it in her hair. She didn't explain whether or not she sat under a hooded dryer, but i have a little porosity here. So i need to sit up underneath the dryer to make sure everything really gets into my hair. So that's what i'm going to do and once i'm done i'm going to come back and show you guys all right guys. So i am all done and i'm here to show you guys how everything is looking. I just got from underneath the hooded dryer. So my hair is nice and warm, so i'm just gon na unwrap with each twist and show you guys how moisturized my hair looks. It feels absolutely amazing wow. It is so soft wow super duper duper soft. My curl definition is still popping. Let'S unravel this one, i put a lot of it on my hair, as you guys can see, my hands could light right through my hair y'all. I really like this. I really really really like this mask and it feels really good on my hands as well. It has a really nice lip to it. Let me go on this side as well, so, overall, these are pretty much like the final results after sitting underneath the hooded dryer. I really really really like this mask it's very moisturizing and it defines my hair so well. The only con to this mask is that it is so messy. Oh, my goodness it is such a messy mask, but other than that guys. It is really on point as far as just moisturizing my hair, and also providing me with a lot of definition. As you guys can tell in the earlier clips, my hair was not moisturized at all. It was dry and it was in much need of some tender, loving care and now y'all y'all can see. My curls are nice they're bouncy they're super defined. So i would definitely definitely recommend this mask and it didn't even take a long time for me to make either. I think it took me like five minutes, and that was only because i was recording, but if i wasn't it would have probably taken me. Probably three minutes: it really wasn't a long process at all, all right guys, so i am done washing out the mask out of my hair. So i just wanted to show you guys how my hair is looking. As you can see. It is a very moisturized. There is a lot of definition, my curls are popping and i really like it. I think cardi b was really doing something with this mask and i'm happy that i got the opportunity to try it. It is definitely something that i think i'll be doing again, because i like how my hair looks, and i also like how my hair feels leave in the comments. RoRo 7: How ironic, I tried something similar 2 days ago, but without the argon/avacodo oils...it came out the same way: 1 avacodo, 1 egg, 2 1/2 tbsp mayo, & honey. After using hair mask (leaving in hair about 1 hr. under plastic cap w/out dryer. Rinse & dry. But here's some tea, use the rest on your face as a face mask...let dry then wash off with warm water then moisturize. Also using rice water treatments once a month also makes your hair grow. After having cancer & going thru chemo then losing my hair 7 yrs ago, the blood cancer is gone. God is so good . Faith works!!! I don't want to ever perm or put harsh chemicals in my hair again. We have to get back to natural products & nature even in our foods...less processed more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Alice Brenda Soto: The ingredients being used for the hair has been around since I was a little girl in the 70s, that my mom put on me and sister. There were no hand held blow dryer nor straight iron. Mom used metallic wire hair rollers with bobby-pins, we had to sleep with them on to due to our thick long curly hair! The hair came out shiny, bouncy with long soft curl then mom would wrap the hair around pin it down 1 way, hours later wrap the hair the opposite side. On Sunday Church Day, we had straight, shiny, with bounce hair. Thank God now we have blow dryers, and straight iron. It’s always good to put a little olive oil or coconut oil in hand rub them together and lightly passed through hair n tips, every other day after this treatment to continue the shine!

Destiny A: Most cultures use the same types of foods, oils and herbs you can eat for skin and hair treatments. All of these oils are great, but if anyone is missing an oil or two it’s not a huge deal. This mask still would have a lot of great impact on hydrating and conditioning hair.

divayolan: I've done the mask CardiB uses minus the honey and my hair has been so soft and shiney since using it. I've done it 3 times now and I love it! Once I appy it, I place a plastic cap on and leave it on for 30-45 minutes before rinsing then I follow up with my regular wash and conditioning routine. Now I incorporate the mask with my hair wash routine.

Aloe is excellent too especially as a detangler....I have tight coils as well. 808's and Heartbreak: I started doing this a while back because I'd always heard of the mayo and egg thing. But I also add coconut oil to my mix instead of the castor. Works just the same imo. But you looked scared of the mask. Just dig in and really get them roots and a saturated. You missed the all the roots in the middle and in the back and kept this huge glob of the product on top of your right hand the wholee application portion. Just dive in and get ya fro soggy!! Them curls will love you even more for it!
