Hey everyone: a lot of you have been asking me about how to deal with premature greying and make the hair thicker well. Iraida has answers to all your questions today. I'M sharing a home remedy popular in South India to make hair visibly thicker and darker. So, let's see what all do we need for it? The first thing we need is hibiscus flowers, hibiscus flowers, along with the green leaves, are traditionally used in India for thicker and darker hair. It has amino acids and alpha hydroxy acids, along with vitamin A and C. It also works as a natural conditioner for dry and frizzy hair. Here I have taken two varieties of hibiscus flowers as that's what I could get. It will be best if you can get the bright red one with five petals. The second thing we need is curry leaves curry leaf. Is a fragrant herb widely used in Indian cooking? It has awesome weight, loss and cholesterol control properties; they are great for making hair dark and thick curry leaves are loaded with beta-carotene that helps in controlling hair fall. It also has amino acids that strengthen hair, follicles and antioxidants that nourishes the scalp and revives hair follicles. Make sure you wash the curry leaves properly to prepare the oil. We have to dry these flowers and leaves in shade, so let's arrange them in a tree. It has been raining quite heavily here for a week now and there is no sunlight, so I will place the tray on the window to air dry. However, on sunny days don't forget to cover the leaves with a clean cloth. We only want the moisture to go and not roast the leaves in direct sunlight, it has been 24 hours leaves and petals have apparently lost some moisture. I wish I could dry them some more, but heavy rains aren't helping it had anyway, let's break the leaves and petals for further process. The third ingredient we need is 200ml of coconut oil. You can use the cold-pressed extra virgin or the regular oil now to prepare the oil. We need a heavy bottomed pan like so make sure it is heavy bottomed as we don't want our ingredients to burn or stick at the base. The oil shouldn't be overcooked, either switch the flame on and heat the pan once the pan is hot. Pour the oil keep the flame on low to medium high flame will overcook the oil. Now, after three to four minutes, smoke will begin to appear from the surface of the oil. Now turn the flame to the lowest setting it's time to add the petals and leaves since they still have some moisture left. The oil rings flutter so be very careful. Keep the flame at the lowest and drop the flowers gradually, don't add everything together. Let it simmer slowly for five minutes and stir occasionally remember we don't have to fry the hibiscus and curry leaves they should release their secretions into the oil slowly and please don't cover the pan. The water vapor will make the oil splatter. Also, the moisture will reduce the oils, shelf-life switch off the flame after 5 to 6 minutes and let the pan cool down. We now have to leave this oil overnight for all the hibiscus and curry leaf secretions to seep out after 8 to 10 hours use a sieve to filter the oil. Remember all the sieves, spoons and containers should be completely clean and dry carefully filter out the oil. You will finally get a dark green herbal secretion with the fragrance of hibiscus and curry, leaves apply this oil twice a week on roots and lengths, don't forget to massage the scalp and leave it overnight for best results, shampoo and condition later as usual. Keep it in a clean and dry container don't store this in a fridge.
