Wash Day | How I Prep My Natural Hair For Braids | Simply Subrena

So today, I'm here with a wash day for you guys, I look rough hello uh. I just came back from the gym, so excuse that, but I'm bringing you guys along from my washed and finish, show you guys how I'm prepping my hair um. It'S supposed to be spring: oh no! It'S blue! I live in Florida. So technically is me getting spring weather. I know the majority of the world's like an extreme weather um, but we are right now it's heading to the Sun. Let'S get hot Jesus get hot and I can't okay um I've been neglecting my hair. As always. That'S all I do when I wear it out. This is why I was always wearing wings, because I just knew I just was not down for the Washington haze and yeah, so this is the twist out that turned into a pineapple. It'S been this part up for two weeks, alright, so yeah, I'm about to do. I'M about to give my hair some good lovin and but if she guys talk prep my hair to get braids, that's what I'm doing. I think that's gon na be my thing for this year, for the summer at least, is brave until it gets cool again and it makes sense rate my hair again I live in Florida. We have officially hits friends. What does that mean? That means gon na rain. Every day, some point throughout the day, so that means just gon na be real humid and unless, if I'm wearing my hair and a curly state, something like this there's absolutely no point in my hair being out because it's gon na be ruined, and I just I Don'T have time I literally do not have time and I'm tired of looking like our own belong nowhere, because I it's minestrone, oh yeah, so we are gon na go ahead and go into this wash today, I'm so excited for these braids y'all understand. I really been around here, looking crazy, all cuz, I just I don't want to do my hair and then it's like. We loan your hair right now. You just don't feel like even doing nothing else. Oh I just spent dressed on like on belong nowhere. It'S just been: it's been struggling struggle, but we gon na get it right, so um yeah, my hair needs some good lovin right now and all of that so we're just gon na go ahead and get into it. So I'm doing a Arabic, deep conditioner. So I've already mixed my deep conditioner. This one does not contain henna, I'm not doing a strengthening treatment because I did a strengthening treatment or watched a the last time I wash my hair. I use the whole Shea Moisture line that Jamaican black castor oil, which is a strengthening the line, so my hairs are all struck. My hair is good on strength, even though some of the powders in here they are first round, but this is mainly for a moisture and hair growth. The powders that are in here I did record a video. I made two separate air verdict: powder mixtures, depending on what I'm going for, so that video will be coming out. I'M not sure how they're going to be uploaded, but this one is the moisture and growth powder mixture. That'S in here and the deep conditioner that I mixed it with is literally a concoction of a whole bunch of other conditioners and E conditioners that were going low in my pantry. So I just put them all together because I needed space in my hair cabinet. So this is literally, this is just a whole cocktail right now, it's just in this PYT argan oil container, which probably has some of this deep conditioner in there because it was going well. So that's what I'm doing that's what's going in here and because my hair is gon na be tucked away for at least a month. I just wanted to give my hair some real goodness before I put it in there, so have a spray bottle of water. I'M gon na be wetting my hair. It'S a finger detangle a little bit and then obviously to make applying the mass easier so go ahead. Yeah was gone. Oh oh, my Cheers some morning pack up on and also this hothead. I got this from Amazon, but that's a deep conditioning cap. It has like gels in here so I put in the microwave for about two and a half minutes. I'M gon na go in and I'm gon na shampoo with the shea moisture, manuka honey and before or this is the intensive hydration line, my favorite line hands-down, so I'm gon na champ ooh and then do a quickie conditioner. While I do my shower routine and then I will be back out to show you guys the rest of my wash day, hey guys, so I'm done washing my hair, I shampoo twice and then I just put the conditioner on. I left it for like the rest of my shower routine um. So now I'm just gon na go ahead and prep my hair, so my hair's been towel drying, like probably thirty minutes now, so it's practically dry. So I'm gon na go ahead and boil my scallops with my simply hair clothes oil, and I know this is my Thursday. I love it. I'M going to moisturize my hair with a jamaican black, castor oil, strengthen girl and restore it either in conditioner on my ultimate favorite leave-in as well, and I'm also going to be using the PYP blow dry spray. I really like the spray, makes blow drying cut in half to stretch my hair and to dry it, so it makes braiding easier and then, after that, I'm just gon na go ahead and seal everything in with a tailored beauty singing butter. I love good shea butter. Make sure on my hair, this is kind of the first time I ever was this was, I guess I should say this was my first shea butter experience and I never really used to use shea butter before but it well. So I want to make sure all since my hair is going to be tucked away for at least a month in these braids, and my hair is moisturized throughout that time. So and I'm gon na be blow-drying and different. My blow-dryer just in case anyone app it's the hot shop tools, it's from Sally's, I forgot, which one this is but yeah. They have different one. I'M gon na be doing this on low heat but high speed, because I'm just trying to dry my hair and stretch it out. Oh No and love Oh where's Eddie, something which you wanted.
