Hey guys welcome to my youtube channel. My name is eugenia kelsey in today's video. I will be showing you guys, a detailed tutorial of my wash day routine and how i take care of my hair to retain the most length and to also prevent breaking and shedding so, let's just get right into this video. I did take my braids out and put them in twist. I haven't done any anything to it, but i do wash my hair and twist. So that's why i have it in twists. So, let's start with our pre-pro routine for the pre-poo we're going to be making an oil i'm starting to like pre-poo oils, because they really go in there and dissolve the residues. That tangled and like makes your hair hard to take apart. You will need 40 grams of fenugreek seeds. I love fenugreek seeds because it's high in nicotinic, acid and nicotinic acid on the scalp dilates, the blood vesicles. It increases blood circulation and increases the metabolic processes in the hair follicles, which in turn, would prevent hair loss and accelerate the rate at which your hair grows. Avocado oil contains vitamins which protect and nourish your hair cells. It'S also one of the few oils that can penetrate your hair, shaft plus it contains folic acid which can help thicken and strengthen your hair. I'M going to go ahead and add my fenugreek powder. Remember it's the fenugreek seeds that i blended into my avocado oil. Then i'm going to add two tablespoons of moringa powder moringa has so much nutrients like. I cannot even begin to like list it, but it's a powerhouse of lots of nutrients every nutrient that you can think of moringa. Has it and it's great for your hair. So go ahead, stir that up and we're going to put it in hot water to make sure that all the nutrients simmer into the oil. After that is done, you could take any um strainer. You could use your stocking cap. Some socks just make sure it's clean and we're going to go ahead and strain it just so we don't have the moringa powder or the fenugreek um granules in our hair and there you have it. Your pre-poo oil is ready to use just put in your applicator bottle and yeah. I also have a video with the same recipe using it to make a deep conditioner so make sure to check that out or you can get it from me all. My recipes are available to purchase. You could get it from my website. Just just look at the definition that this deep conditioner gives my hair did. Y'All see my hair before that is 4c hair, and just look at that definition wow, like i'm amazed at myself. You guys, like really just look at it. Okay, let's go back into this video. I went ahead and sectioned my whole hair into four parts, and it's and each section is in four twists i'll, be using my pre-poo oil, my tangle teezer and a bottle of water. So, let's get into this, if your hair is shorter, i recommend doing little sections the smaller the section, the more you could give it more attention without having to run through your hair, and it just really helps. Overall, i go ahead and sprinkle a little bit of water into my hair because it's stretched and it's dry, and you never want to go in like that, because it's going to break and it's going to shed now. If i now that i have it a little bit damp, i'm going to go ahead with my tangle teezer, brushing from the tips up to the top, and what this does is that it really helps to um remove all the hair. That'S shed naturally, because your hair naturally sheds so when you have any protective style, it's going to shed naturally, and i find that the tango teaser really helps to just get the hair that shed out of my out of my hair very easily. So you're going to see me doing this process with basically all that section and i'm just going to have you watch it and i'll see you when i get to the front part one more thing. I find that brushing my hair with a tangle teezer really helps to get the residue out of my roots. It'S like, basically, all throughout my hair, and this tip is really help useful, especially if you wash your hair and twist, because if you don't do this and you wash your hair, your hair is not going to be clean, like you're going to be left with residue At the ends of your roots, so the tangle teaser really helps to like separate the residue and like bring it from the roots to about the tips of your hair, and you can just go ahead and wash it. So i'm going to repeat this one more time when you take your hair out dry, you want to go ahead and wet wet it. So it's damp, then using your tangle, teezer you're, going to brush it so that the shed hair comes out of it. Now, whether you brush from the i usually brush from the tip, because that's what works for me, but i know other people um also brush from the roots, do whatever you know, your hair best do whatever suits, and you think is best. So after i get all the shed hair out, i'm going to go ahead and then use my oil apply it to my hair um. Sometimes i put in my hand and rub it all over or i just go directly to my roots or just to my hair or sometimes even to the ends, and i just do what you see me doing over there i'll i'll twist it and then i'll put It away that is all the shedding i got from that section of my hair and for how long i've had it in it's, not that bad i've had it in since my mom's birthday, which was like in november so and it's like february right now so november December january, it's like going to three months now and i have that shed and that that is really not that bad. So i'm just gon na go ahead and also do the front, basically like a repeat of what you guys saw. This is how it looks like when it's all done, i'm going to go ahead and show you guys the ants of my hair. The front part of my hair is shorter than the back, so the ants are not going to be the same, but i generally make sure that my hair is healthy and if you guys want my clipping routine, is it's once a year like once a year? I really try to take good care of my hair and i only cut once a year now when i go into the shower, i could take the twist out one by one and wash it out with a shampoo or if i'm or i could just hold them Up and then put my hands under the roots since the twists are. The twists are not really secure at the bottom. The bottom is like really loose and just wash your scalp and it's really fast really quick way of shampooing and it really gets the job done. I went ahead and washed my hair out and i told myself i'm going to take a little bit rest and then come back and film, because i was so tired, my arms. My legs were so tired, but then i fell asleep. So this is shampooed hair but dry, and this is how it looks join me next week for an in-depth tutorial on my deep conditioning routine. Again, all my recipes are available on my website. I suggest checking them out. I promise you will love it. I have my fenugreek plus moringa, deep conditioner. I have a moisturizing leave-in conditioner, which moisturizes your hair for at least three days. It'S going to moisturize and define your type 4 curls, okay, and then we have our growth oil. We have our brain garage oil and we also have our hair growth serum among other products, so i suggest checking them out. Thank you guys, thank you guys so much for watching this video. If you liked my content, please consider subscribing and giving this video a thumbs up and i'll see you next week in my next video bye,

Reap and Soe Budgets: Her products are really affordable and they work! I love the leave in and deep conditioner. Currently about to buy some more cuz I'm running out. I told myself I've spent thousands on companies who just want to make a quick buck the last couple of years. It's time to buy from naturals who actually want to help our hair. So definitely feel it's worth it. Thanks Eugenia!

Eve Bowman: Healthy, strong,&long! Such a blessing to see

Winfridah Wangui: What I really love about this gal's vlogs, watching her videos, is the intelligence behind her choices & procedures. Kudos Eugenia, you stand out!

Teena Bee: I tried your pre poo method and it worked really well for my hair. My hair was so dry but that mix saved my hair. Thank you for sharing.

Impeccably Fit T: I’ve been praying to find ways to embrace my coils and find a routine that doesn’t require a 3 hour wash day. Nevertheless I’m in pursuit of more growth even though I have bra strap length hair. I’ve lost the love I use to have for my hair because it’s difficult to deal with. Your video appeared in my suggestions and I was utterly intrigued throughout the entire video. Nevertheless I’m a computer scientist and took mere delight when you explained the ingredients in the prepoo concoction. I’ve happily subscribed and going to binge watch all your videos to get me through this wash day today. I just relished in your fact that you make your own products.

Ann Fields: Hi Eugenia. You are a diamond, and you're doing such an amazing job and inspiring so many who were ambushed by the mainstream narrative: that "4c hair won't grow longer than average length". I was so happy when I found your channel because you take care and patience in explaining the intricacies of getting the desired result with 4c hair. Thank you for sharing your light. P.S. How long do you leave the pre-poo treatment in to get the best results before washing it out?

ThE iLl aDvIsEd MiNoR!: I literally heard my hair ripping apart after taking them out of mini plaits, I’m doing everything now to get it moisturized and healthy. Thanks for this

Nikki Crawford: I looked at several hair growth videos with different youtubers before I could decide on a product I feel comfortable buying and I am happy to say that I just purchased three of your products looking forward to start over in hair care. Honestly the scriptures sealed the deal.

Jackie Not O: Hello! I can say I really love your videos and how much detail and information you put in them. I personally keep my hair in twists, mainly during the winter months. And I'll wash about once every few weeks or so. I was wondering what do you do to maintain moisture during the in between weeks between wash days. Keep up the great work!

LaChelle Flood: That hair texture shot is everything Yes, 4C Baby!!

4theloveofkinks: Your hair is so healthy and beautiful also have 4C hair and feel like it has been the same length for a few years now. I am giving my hair a break on braiding to see what happens! New subbie!!

Brown Beauty: Actual 4C hair, we love to see it.

Patrick B Abiwo: Now that I think about it, my hair stopped growing MUCH after corona started because I wouldn't be going anywhere. That led me to not care about my appearance and I started neglecting my hair. After a while it started breaking a bit.

Sayittomyface Ortapglassfaraway: She's so beautiful and blessed I'm going to stop being negative and saying that only works on her hair cuz if it works on my hair it would feel like such an accomplishment smh hate to sound and feel vain but I want my hair to grow so badly

Samia Williams: Most detailed hair tutorial on YouTube

Emmanueljoy Joy: This is really a good method to prevent more shredding while watching it with shampoo and also good vitamins to keep your hair healthy.. I like it

It’sAlexilixYT: I just wonder how many people has asked her how she grew her hair haha

annalyce: Love it! So helpful to see a 4C girl with long, luscious hair :) What is your hair porosity?

JezreelJoy: I'm definitely going to make this oil. I love moringa powder. I even use it to make soap for my business.

konpeito: You have NO business being that beautiful!

Wandering Butterfly: I purchased her Morings Fenugreek conditioner & the Hair Growth Serum..been using them for about 2 months now. The conditioner truly softens my 4c hair. This conditioner glides through your hair. I believe the growth serum is working on my sparse areas. Hair is definitely coming in-but please be clear I also do a weekly amla oil overnight. Starting out I had se real problem areas and they have cleared up.

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: Wow, your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

mizz Kris: Hair crush all day. Haven't finished the video and smashed the button

4cQueen: I'd love to see how much her hair has grown this past year

Fine Natural Hair ROCKS: I keep hearing about the fenugreek seeds to assist with hair growth! I need to get on it!

Tanai Cannon: Does anyone else's Prepoo/Detangling session take hours?? My process literally takes 4 hours and my hair isnt even as long as hers, its mid back length. I also use small sections ( about 22 in total) and finger detangle before using a comb. Any suggestions or products I can use to make this process faster??

Kara Cee: Your hair is the chef’s kiss! . A couple of questions: how long do you usually keep your braids or protective style? How do you keep your twists from unraveling while washing? I section and wash my hair in twists, but they always come undone.

Sheryl Scott: I love your hair and your attitude. Keep up the good work!

DayZStar: Wow thank you so much for this video! You made me feel so much better about the way the front of my hair is not as long as the back but its getting overall healthy. so I will focus on that rather than evening everything out.

xYveyHx: Hi Eugenia, I went to your website as I'm interested in purchasing some of your products. I know you've spoken about leaving your hair alone for roughly 1-3 months. Your deep conditioner instructions say to use it once or twice a week. Is this ON TOP of the protective style you have? If so, is the product easily rinsed out? Thanks in advance :)

Daughter Of YAH 💜: I need this stuff I’m trying to grow mu daughter hair longer and strong ! Your hair is beautiful

Thannon Hawkins: I like that you're honest. We respect it.

Tracy Sweaty Nipps: Now LOOK PEOPLE!!....She is an example of "ACTUAL" 4C hair and demonstrates with love and care you can have super long 4C hair like any other curl type.. If I see ONE MORE 4A natural claiming 4C on youtube I'm gonna throw myself off a cliff . And this is coming from a 4A natural myself. Everyone is 4C on YouTube now when they are clearly 4A or Less I'm sick of it..

Pretty Black Girl: You're so beautiful it hurts ❤❤❤ your skin is divine

Makeila H: I love how you measure the ingredients

me: Haven't even watch the video yet but I'm sure it's going to be great as always glad to see you again❤❤❤❤

dion cook: I love watching your videos...you are so detailed. .its very easy to follow

Janice Belford: your hair looks great!

Naturally Deevs: Such healthy hair

Bertha Mukodzani: Wow! Beautiful, long hair. Thanks for sharing!

Ciarra Johnson: Hair as thick as mine, I would adore that❤️❤️It’s short (getting curled right now) and the style stays, but I do miss ponytails I have Hydrocephalus, so hair is never guaranteed and my hair never did get back to where it was before surgery, but I’m grateful for how it acts when cut

Jessica Ernest: Girl your hair routine is the boom...

Beryl & Joe: Do you put the green oil twice? First, when you undo and there's stuff at the roots, and second, after you spray with water? Please clarify. The thick conditioner comes after the green liquid. Is it the one you used to prepoo? Please write the steps for us in your description box. The applicator bottle you use on your hair after the thick deep condition is not the same as the one with the green liquid. I am trying to follow step by step, but I am a bit lost. Help. Thank you.
