Everybody wants really long natural hair, they want their hair to be wasteland, they want thick hair and all of that, but sometimes you try so hard and your hair does not seem to be growing and you might think you're not using the right product and you end Up buying products that do not even do anything to your hair, i want to tell you today that products are not the problem. What you need is a hair care, routine and technique that allows your hair to grow. I say it all the time. The technique that i use in applying product technique that you use in washing your hair is also important in retaining length. Some people detangle their hair when it is dry, and this leads to a lot of breakage. Your hair will not grow. If you continue in this old habit and expect to have long, luscious, thick hair in 2022, so in this video i'm going to share with you all of the techniques and the products that i use in washing my hair now, the technique is so important in how You wash your hair so that you can retain as much length as possible. As you can see. I pay attention to my hair. In my opinion, the number one goal you want to achieve when you wash your hair, is to get your hair moisturized and to detangle your hair. The first technique to note is the pull this technique that i'm doing currently, this is important when you try to detangle your hair, especially if your hair is very shrunken up. As you can see, my hair is shrunken by like 80 or so. The pull is important to elongate your hair and get it to the point where you can actually go through it and detangle it as you can see after i pulled my hair, i slightly detangled my hair, and it was easier for me to do if i did Not do the pull technique and i go straight into detangling, my hair, like so i will be breaking my hair. It is also important to keep your hair moisturized throughout this period. So this is me just detangling, my shrunken hair in preparation for wash day. I have not actually prepared my hair detangling, your hair before you start your wash day process makes things a thousand times easier. I am telling you you need to you need to detangle your hair first before you start washing your hair or preparing your hair, or doing any of that. I am telling you it works. I have been doing this for years and i know i'm saying this out of experience now that i am done detangling it it's time for me to pre-poo my hair and this wash day, i'm using a living conditioner to prepare my hair, because my hair is dry. Sometimes i use oils to pull my hair, but it's it's not set on stone, it's not a law. Sometimes i use living conditioner. Sometimes i use oils, but in this time in this wash day i mean to say i'm using leave-in conditioner to pre-poo my hair, just because my hair is dry and i'm trying to get back all of the moisture into my hair. Like you all know, this is the amateur season winter and like your hair, needs to be moisturized, as you can see, i'm just taking out time to detangle my hair to separate every knot. And after that i put my hair back in twist by putting my hair back in twist, i ensure that my hair does not coil up and tangle itself again. This is something natural hair likes to do it likes to tangle up all the time like it just because just wants to hug each other. Every strand of hair wants to hug each other so to ensure that that does not happen. Every section that you walk on, it is important to put it back into it, and this a lot of people ask me: how do i keep my hair stretched out because, most times they wash their hair and it is strong, it gets shrunken, put your hair in Twist put every section in twist any section: you're not working on put it and twist so i'll, just massage the living condition. Now this living conditioner is from my hair naturals. I will have it linked in the description, so you can go check them out. Most of the products i'll be using in this wash day is from my hair naturals. So i'm still preparing my hair, and i want you to tell me: do you, how do you prepare your hair? Do you prefer your hair with oils or with conditioners, do let me know in the comment section, i would like to hear how you prep your hair. One of the reason why i decided to use this leave-in conditioner is because it has an enormous and insane amount of sleep. I really love products that have like sleep to it, because it helps your hair to slide easily helps you to detangle easily. I do not like to use products that don't have sleep. This is just my preference, my personal preference, so i would advise also that i use product that has sleep, so you can detangle your hair easily your hair. Can you understand what i'm trying to say so now that i am done detangling all of the sections pre-putting, i don't know wait. I just go straight into shampooing, my hair and i'm using this apple, cider, vinegar, strengthening shampoo, also from my hair naturals. Today, i'm washing my hair in twist now it's not compulsory that you wash your hair and twist some people wash their hair loose. I do i wash my hair loose too, but today, in this wash day, i decided to wash my hair in twists. If you decide to wash your hair in twists like i am doing, it is important that you detangle your hair before washing it in twist, because if you do not detangle your hair and you wash it in twists, it is it's just like you're looking you're trying To lock your hair, your natural hair, your fussy, hair, would lock itself up if you wash your hair and twist without detangling it during and before you wash it. I hope you understand, so i'm done washing my hair um. As you can see, it is clean. I it is important to check that your hair is clean because most times, people wash their hair and twist and do not totally cleanse their scalp. So it's important that you check that the next step is to deep condition your hair, i'm using this conditioner from um. Okay, i'm using this conditioner is from mega growth. I don't know why i keep forgetting the name so the technique when it comes to conditioning your hair, deep conditioning your hair is to do that in sections. Obviously, i think everyone knows that do that in section make sure that your finger detangle first and if you decide to use a detangling brush good for you, um, i'm using a detangling brush this time around, because this is my last wash day in 2021 and i Decided to use the detangling brush to just i mean the last washi of the year. I normally do not use a detangling brush or combs or whatever i just finger detangle, so you can decide to use a detangling brush. That'S my preference! I would use a detangling brush rather than using a comb yeah, so i just do that to all sections of my hair. This takes a lot of time because i'm very careful i try not to toggle my hair with the detangling brush. I am trying to as much as i want to take out all of the tangles that i was not able to take out at the beginning of my wash day. I am very careful not to tug on my hair and break my hair unnecessarily, so this process is a very long process, but i am telling you that patience is a virtue when you carefully detangle with your hands first before using a brush or whatever tool, you Decide to use it makes all of the difference and you're able to retain length because you're not breaking your hair because of your impatience, yeah. I'Ve said so many because so i'm just going to stop now again after applying your conditioner detangling, your hair with your fingers and then your brush or whatever tool you decide to use you put that section in twist, like i said, to avoid shrinking shrinkage is not A bad thing, but i know that my fussy sisters love to show their length. So if you, if you're, that type of person that wants to show your length always put every section in twist when you're done, shampooing pre-pulling, whatever detangling, applying your deep conditioner. So i'm done doing that and then i rinse out my hair. What i did when i this is a clip of me eating, while i wash my hair to show you how long it takes to properly detangle my hair a lot of times. People see watch their videos online and they think it's fast paced. It looks easy. It looks quick, but we take breaks and it is okay. If you take breaks within your wash day now that i've rinsed out the conditioner from my hair, i go ahead to blow dry my hair. This is the preference and i don't do it all the time, but i just decided to do it in this watch day. I blow dry, my hair, i go section by section and i realize that whenever i blow dry, my hair and i brush my hair while doing it. My hair is usually very, very, very voluminous, like it has so much volume to eat, rather than just doing the pull method. I used to do that before just pull my hair, you can see the difference that blue drying makes, but it's not so important. Okay, easy preference, then i use this um moisture ceiling, hair water from my hair, natural steel i'll - have that linked in the description to check them out. This products are really lovely products. I put my hair back in twist and then i also blow dry every other section of hair. Now that i am done, i'm just tired from this worst day, i'm going to apply a little bit of this cheby gross oil still from my hair naturals and just give myself a good scalp massage. This is very soothing to your scalp, especially all of the tugging and pulling from blow drying detangling, and all of that you just need to massage your scalp. It'S not compulsory. I just do this once in a while, and i use a little amount of oil to do that. I do not use a lot on my scalp, so i'm done with wash day, and i hope you learned a thing or two and i'll see you in my next one um.
