#4CHair #HairBreakage #HairShedding

What'S up y'all, my name is Linda J, welcome and welcome back to my channel. If you are new, please be sure to click that subscribe button before you go and if you are already family, then welcome back first things. First, isn't this shirt the cutest thing it says the raised on and then it says Cartoon Network so raised on Cartoon Network and then all these people comment down below. If you are familiar with any of the characters on my shirt, I pretty much know them all, except for the cow. I don't think I've ever seen that show, even though the color is familiar anyway. So I'm really excited to talk about the topic that we're gon na be covering today, because I have been getting people requesting this video. Ironically, I planned on posting it anyway, but people have been asking for advice on thinning hair, and I now know that struggle also. I'M really sorry about the beeping. In the background we just took the battery out today, so I'm gon na go, buy a battery, probably tomorrow, to replace it so that the beeping can cease, because I do realize how annoying it is when I'm editing videos that that beeping is literally every few minute. So in 2019 and the later half of 2018 I lost so much hair and I started to freak. Let me tell you what I believe happened before. I tell you how I combat it, the thinning of my hair. Last year I was doing a lot of hair collaborations and I was doing just about I started. I kicked it off in the later part of 2018 is when I started to pick up for me and then all of 2019. I was just doing hair collaborations and there was one specific time I believe it was around the summer. Yes, it was around the summer where I was just doing yeah. It was so many. I was manipulating my hair. So much to the point where my hair was like, I can't keep up. I can't keep up so one thing I know for sure played a factor into my hair loss was manipulation. I was constantly detangling my here using tools that I didn't know would work or would not work for me, so I would use the Denman brush. I was using the tangle teezer. I was also using the shower brush with that. I would still use that. That'S not a problem, but I was also detangling with combs. I was losing patience. I wasn't properly detangling my hair, so all that just played a part in me losing my hair. Also. I wish I put my hair a lot granted. I did condition every single time that I washed my hair but constantly shampooing. My hair causes my hair to become dry dryness, equals brittleness equals breakage. A lot of my hair was breaking off and I was not doing enough to care for it as much as I was washing it also. I was doing a lot of styles high bun, twist outs, braid out, perm rod, says wash and gos flexi rod sets. I was doing everything and it's okay, if they're spread out throughout the year, but it was mostly within the summer and that just was not good summer of last year's. What I'm referring to. I was also in a super stressful relationship last year and I definitely believe that stress played a part in my hair loss. Also neglect yeah. I was not taking good care of my hair. I was making sure that these collaborations were out of the way. So, as far as what they needed me to do, I got that done, but when it came to self-care I was neglecting that and it really showed in the amount of hair that I was losing. I remember one night specifically, I was detangling with. I believe I was handling with my shower brush and usually when I detangle with that tool. It'S all good, I'm fine. Whatever here I lost, I deserved it, but the tool itself was never a factor for me. So I remember I was detangling my hair and I just was losing so much of it I'll insert the picture right here. It was ridiculous. It got to the point where I started to question my saying: do I have cancer or something? I know that sounds super extreme, but me losing so much hair in such a short amount of time. I could not correlate it to anything else. On top of me being stressed, it was really alarming that I lost so much hair, so I began to research ways that I could combat the hair loss and one way that I found out that other women who were losing here as well ran to was a Green tea rinse, so I did that greens here in one time I should have stuck to it. I should probably get back into it. I definitely don't lose as much hair now, but just to keep on track with making sure it doesn't have it again. I really want to keep consistent in doing that green tea right. I don't know how much it helped me for sure because, like I said, I've only done it one time, but that is one resounding remedy that I noticed. Women on YouTube, who are losing hair tried and it worked for them, so maybe it was working for me or maybe it could have worked for me if I remain consistent in doing that before we go any further. I wouldn't want to take a moment to just hit the brakes and talk about what hair manipulation can it look like hair manipulation could look like over picking your hair as a type for natural. My curls and coils are way tighter, but what a type 3 natural can do with they're picking desires. It is a bit of a stretch for aides head for natural, especially afford before see like me, so over picking my hair can cause damage. It might cause damage to type 3 natural as well, but I don't know I'm not one thought I'll speak for that. If you are a type 3 and you're watching this video, please inform me, but as a type 4 natural over picking can cause breakage. For example, when I wear my wash and gos, which I don't do wash and gos, often at all, if I'm picking the root, usually I'm good on day one two and three day, four is when my hair starts to dry up and if I'm picking through dry Hair that is asking for it. My hair is definitely going to break off. Another form of manipulation is washing your hair too much. That was my experience. Like I said earlier, shampoo is known to dry hair out and that's why it's important to go back in in deep condition, your hair, so that you can remove dries it to combat that dryness. Also, by neglected deep conditioning my hair a lot last year and I mean a lot - I used to be conditioned my hair every single wash day and I still do, but you know what now that I think of it wash they didn't come as often because I Was neglecting my hair, I was way too busy neglecting my hair to realize that hey you haven't watched your hearing sometime. You should probably do that so that you can deep condition. Deep conditioning is huge. Deep conditioning is vital. That is what's helping me get back into the game is deep conditioning my hair up, I'm getting ahead of myself I'll get to that in a moment. So when I fall off of the habits that I used to commit to and begin adapting habits that are not healthy for my hair, my hair responds and the way that my hair decided to respond was by breaking off and thinning out and it was devastating. Another form of manipulation is causing a lot of tension to your scalp. So I remember one hairstyle. That was super easy that gave me a few days of freedom was licking my hair back into a low bun. Now the spout is beautiful and I still recommend it, but the few times that I did it last year caused a lot of tension to my scalp, and my head was so sore when I went to take out the bun after several days that I shouldn't have Been wearing it for when I would touch my head, my scalp, it was just so tender and I'm not a tender headed person at all, so that should have spoke to me. I also was not trimming my hair regularly now. Some of these things that I'm mentioning now are things that I've already mentioned in my how to grow healthy, hair video that I posted a few days ago, that was the first day of Veda so check that out I'll link. It right here for you to see and I'll link it down below as well, but not trimming. My hair was just not a good idea. My hair was suffering from split ends as well as ferry knots, so that breakage was just something else and, like I said in that video growth brings, you two steps further, not true me and causes breakage, which brings you ten steps back so you're, really not moving Anywhere and that's another mistake that I made last year so when it came to, I believe it was June or July. I finally decided to cut my hair because it was just devastating how much my hair had bend out. So I cut my hair and I filmed it, but the hard drive that I saved it in has broken, so that is a lost cause, I'm so sorry, I do have footage in my phone that I'll put on screen for you guys to watch a little bit. I feel really good I cut about so my hair was about 14 inches throughout the back is about 10 inches. The sides are about 11 inches and then I kept the length in the middle. So that's the 14 inches I'm looking for a heart shape. I really don't know if this is it, but we'll see, I lost all of this hair in one sitting, which is a reason why let me turn around. This is one of the reasons why I cut my hair, because this is just way too much hair to be losing. My hair is thinning out and I just need a fresh start as I'm about to protective style and that's just moments after I cut it. So after I cut it so now I'm gon na transition into how I fix the problem. After I cut my hair, I styled it the very next day I threw it in some braids. I kept my hair well moisturized in my braids. I wear the braids for about a month and a half when I took the braids out, I washed my hair. I took care of it and then I probably wore my hair for about a week after that. Don'T quote me, I really don't remember, but soon after I wore lots and I wore lost and I wore locks and I wore loves. That'S why I haven't been posting natural hair. Videos is because my hair was thinning out. So the motivation to show you that was just not there and then I was also protective styling to help my hair grow back and so the reason why I protective style is because I know that when I wear faux locs, my hair is incredible. It grows a lot: it's 100 % safe under those locks. I can moisturize it without any issues, and so I just I why not I decided to wear the locks for several months. I recently took them out. I would link that video as well down below, but I recently took them out, and I had them in for about three months - the second time that I installed them. Now that my hair is out, I'm gon na put it right back into a protective style. If you've seen my recent videos, then you know that the next bout is mini twist and I'm probably gon na wear those for a few weeks. Just to give my hair a break, I've been manipulating it a lot lately because I've been missing my hair, I haven't worn it for a while and you guys have been asking to see it so I've been wearing it lately, but it's dry now. So I need to wash it tomorrow. I need to take care of it and then I need to go ahead and start the process for preparing my hair to be protected for a few weeks. Now, if you are dealing with thinning hair, then I would say one go back and watch that video that I mentioned earlier that I posted on the first day of Veda. I have a lot of great tips in that video on top of the 10 tips that I give you in that video, I would say deep conditioned regularly, I'm trying to stick to deep conditioning my hair every other week, because that's how often that I wash my Hair, but if you can do it every week, I would say: go for it if not every other week is fine, but that's the minimum that I would give anybody is twice a month, moisturize your hair. Often I cannot stress that enough. Your hair is like a plant if you water, your plant, your plant grows. If you moisturize your hair, your hair grows. If you let your plant dry out, it's going bad. If you let your hair dry out, it's gon na break so keep your hair moisturized. Try to get into a regimen that works for you. I'Ve already said this before, but I like to moisturize my hair in the day so that my hair has time to dry out before I go to bed. I don't like for any products in my hair to drench my pillow, because I feel like that completely defeats the purpose. Moisturize moisturize moisturize also don't be afraid to cut your hair. Like I said, I cut my hair and I feel like it's grown a lot or it looks more full. There are areas in my hair where the length was still there and then there were where they was like sparse. I still have that because my hair is still recovering. I know for a fact that there are beauty influencers and bubs B is one of them who recently cut her hair, because she's dealing with the same issues that I'm dealing with cutting my hair was probably the best thing that I could have done for it. During that thinning period, so don't be afraid to do that also don't be afraid to protect your hair. Don'T you hear some faux locs, so you're hearing some mini twists, throw your hair in something that works for you, that'll help your hair grow. That would not combat what you're trying to do. Another tip is make sure you're not stressed out if you can get rid of or minimize the things in your life that do not bring you peace. Thankfully I work for myself, so my work is not something. That'S stressful for me, but I can understand that if you have a nine-to-five, you can't really control your work environment. So as much as you can, whatever it is, that's troubling you! It is not worth your hair loss, it just eggs! So try your best to find peace back to the green tea ranks that I mentioned earlier. I would say: give it a shot, I'm definitely going to try it again like I said, I've only tried it once, but I want to see if it'll do something more obvious or apparent for me to come back and say: hey the green tea rinse. Did this? The worst, I don't know what the worst that can happen is, but the best thing that could happen is that it actually helps you. I went and I bought decaffeinated organic green tea and I still have it so I would recommend using that it hasn't been easy, but I'm actively paying attention to my hair and trying to listen to what it's trying to tell me so that I can respond accordingly. That'S pretty much all I have for you guys. I really hope this video helped you. If you have more questions, please please, please don't be afraid to leave them down below and if you have tips yourself that have worked for you if you've experienced hair thinning, then please leave them down below as well from me and our natural hair sisters to try To give it a shot, you can do this, I believe in you I'm out of you. Let'S do this all right shot. I will see you tomorrow or I'll, see you on Monday if this goes up on Friday, because I'm not posting any videos over the weekends. For beta

Lynda Jay: Hey ya'll! Today we get REAL and talk about my hair thinning experience! So many people have been requesting a video on advice to combat it and it seems like I'm ya girl since I have personally gone through it and am still recovering. Commander Y: honestly the things it takes to take care of our hair, JUST to retain length is ridiculous. it’s so disheartening. like why is our hair like this??? i’m sorry i know i’m supposed to love my hair but it is SO hard.

Steph: Girl this vid found me just in time! My hair has been shedding so bad. I was crying for the past month. I did not have a baby, surgery or lost drastic weight. I don’t color, straighten it manipulate my hair at all. I went to the doctor Becuz i thought i had cancer or an illness and those fools couldn’t help! I took matters into my own hands. In ONE month. My shedding has decreased drastically and stressing about it was making it worse. Starting March 1, i took MegaFood builder and Vitamin D! In one month my hair has literally went from a baseball amount of shedding to literally a quarter amount it shedding. A lot of times our bodies are out of wack. Stress, life, hairstyles, food. Etc. hope this helps. Get ur blood levels checked girlie. Doctor thought i was exaggerating til i showed her the balls of hair i saved. A month and half later I’m more at ease!

Kema Johnson: 4type hair has to stay moisturized and left alone in order to fight breakage and retain length. No way around it...

Stacy Gordon: This hair is getting chopped and starting new, I'm determined to get my hair back. Thank you girl, I was just bawling 2 nights ago about this fro

Toriana Jazel: Omg I’m so glad this popped up on my feed. This was legit happening to me. Fresh healthy curl strands would just come out while i was detangling and I got so worried (still am). I’m gunna try the green tea rinse out hopefully it works. I wanna retain length and grow my hair thicker ! Also, i make hair videos too check them out ✨❤️

Del Demar: Thank you so much for this! I’ve been dealing with breakage and I recently trimmed my hair deep conditioned and put cornrows in and hair and scalp feels way better.

Bianca Regine: My hair is definitely thinning something serious. Between having scalp psoriasis and heat damage, my hair has no chance lol. I lose so much hair from the root but I also have breakage from my heat damage. I’m on a hair health journey but I feel like I’m going through the rough of it right now. We’ll make it through! Also I take super hot showers and I can’t make the water any cooler so I feel the hot water makes my hair come out to smh but I can’t make the water cool it’s just something about cool water touching my body lol

wicked: Thanks a lot. 80% of the things that u mentioned in the video is happening to me and I know what you are going through I truly believe that this tip will help me to grow my hair longer and healthier

Jermen: Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been only growing my hair for like 5/6 months and have 3 inches from a low cut, and I have so much shedding and breakage. This video makes a lot of sense as it pertains to my regime. Thank you!!

Disco Gal: I love how honest and realistic this video was. I’m having the same problem, had wash day yesterday after having braids for two weeks and mad hair came out from me just detangling it. I feel like it might be because I didn’t oil it often while in the protective style

Larae 1983: Awesome video love the advice much needed I've been going natural for 8 years and I notice the past two years I've lost alot of my hair and I had alot at one point in time so I will be taking your advice I want my full thick hair back keep doing what your doing sis much love! Oh and please tell me were you got your shirt it was the cartoon network

Niya Wright: My hair literally breaks from the slightest touches when wet. I have a steamer and the hood is often covered in tiny pieces of hair because of how bad my hair is. Any tips would be much appreciated I can’t even apply products without my hair covering the bottle, my hands, and everything else (ps, I’ve done 2 big chops already and lately I’ve been deep conditioning more often to help this. I’ve tried aphogees protein treatments and I saw no changes with that either)

The Joyous Black Woman: Just subscribed I have type 4 hair and I've been struggling with hair loss and thinning. Literally everything you said is what I've been doing wrong thank you so much for this video ❤️

Zakia Hart: My hair is falling out as we speak! Thank you for this❤️ I believe lack of trimming and stress have caused my hair loss that’s ok I’ll get it back! I’m going to trim it tomorrow, then have mom braid it!

kay: Mini twisting as we speak. Tip for low po girls or just dry in general, I wear a shower cap, on dry hair, under my bonnet every other night. Lord the moisture that I have in the am is amazing.

J M: Thank you for this video. I immediately clicked when I saw the title. My hair significantly broke off on either side in the lower back. I think I'm going to cut back on my weekly shampoos, and try the Organic Green tea rinse in addition to continuing my deep conditioners. My hair sheds everyday, especially after wash day. I trim my hair but usually while in twists. I did cut about 2 inches off about 1 months ago. Eventhough I wanted to wait until my hair started growing back in the back, but I think I may get some twists or box braids. My hair does well when braided too. Again thank you for this video! I'll be checking out the other videos of yours.

c c: My hair is always shedding abnormally a lot to me (weather running my hands through it, after washing it, or taking out braids). I stopped relaxing it when I was in high school because I realized how damaging it was and chopped a lot of it off in 2016 after i graduated (while doing it gradually in high school). In 2018 I was diagnosed with leukemia but now my hair has been growing back since last year and although I know it’s growing, it’s still sheds a lot like before I shaved it when I got sick so it’s like I don’t even see the growth. Btw could be me but I feel like all the relaxing I was getting since I was little & the sew-ins I did my first 2 years in high school really thinned my hair out as well. In 2018, I shaved my hair bald due to it already falling off and it just began growing back last year but i feel like the growth is really not going anywhere, even before I got sick. I’m stuck and don’t know what to do any help?

MC BB: Things that contribute to my hair loss: too much expourse to triethanolamine, birth control, deva curl products, permanent color or bleach, stress, over manipulation, heat styling, poor regimen, being a product junky. A big chop and wigs has helped me 100 percent.

Leave It 2 Nessa: My hair has been going crazy this past couple of months and I realized that it may have something to do with using so many different products for reviews early this year.

marjanidin: Thank you sis! I was losing my mind, like why is my hair coming out?! Washing it almost everyday. Picking it all day. I truly appreciate this! My brother actually suggested YouTube, and your video popped up. It helps that you're a 4c as well. Are knotless braids good? I really don't want faux locs. I had locs for 11 years.

Lakeema Earth: My hair was shedding a lot too, I thought it was breaking, so when I found it was shedding I found this product that stops hair from shedding too much hair and I love it

globalstudy01: I've definitely lost some hair from stress recently it was just coming out like crazy

Nora Sumler: Aside from proper tool usage hair loss could occur due to our health .Me personally tried doing everything correct on the outside but my iron was really low which caused a lot of my excessive hair shedding.Im finally shedding less due to my vitamins ,exercise and diet.I had 2 inches cut off for a fresh start.I have started regular hot oil treatments paired with deep conditioning weekly which I love .Anyway hopefully you will get to the bottom of your issue.GOOD LUCK ‼️

Jasmine Burgess: GURL!!!!!! I need a skincare routine. Your skin is flawless ❤️. Im new here so let me go binge watch all these videos and fingers crossed I’ll run into one

Khando Wando: Your so much hair loss is like a regular wash day for me...I even thought that it was normal since it ALWAYS sheds that much no matter what I try....I need to try the green tea wash...if it doesn’t work, then I give up ‍♀️

MoonHoney Mami: I never knew stress could affect your hair until I had a bald spot in my head after being in an abusive relationship due to my hair coming out in clumps whenever I touched it. My hair was literally telling me to put myself first.

Taylor16: I got a sew in last summer that wrecked my hair The back was so matted and tangled and I lost a lot of hair it's been thin and sad ever since. I have tried all these tips your speaking of except the mini twists and the green tea rinse. I'm definitely going to those.

greisi: Recently I’ve been having so much breakage bc I stopped taking care of my hair. I literally just washed my hair added leave in and left it in a puff for a week until I washed my hair again. My ends got so tangled and I just added conditioner and detangled it. I used to braid my hair for a whole week which kept my ends tucked and safe from getting tangled. I didn’t loose as much hair as I’m doing rn, so I’m starting to go back to the braids. Hopefully it’ll help, but school is almost starting and I always do tight hairstyles which will not help lol. But i guess I’ll try to keep them loose a bit. Pray for my hair y’all.

mayah ngundam: School brings me stress but I can’t really cut that out of my life

Min Yoongi😎: I lose a huge amount every fall and it leaves worries me so much, do you think it’ll grow back thicker once the shedding faze is over??

Dani Theo: I wore braids for two months ( too long I know) and I have type 4a-4b and I lost 4 dense hair fills of hair I’m crying so much Im in distress I care about my hair so much

Ahj Smith: i can cry rn having a slick back watching this i’m gonna try your tips & pray they work

Melissa Makota: I did a sew-in around December which was super tight. When I took it out, my hair just fell off. I have bald spots and my scalp is so tender. They’re at the center, so I can hide it. But I feel like my hair is still shedding so much when I wash it. I’m wearing wigs right now, and it’s started to grow back. But I don’t know what to do to make it grow faster. Should I just chop it off and start fresh?

Sista Soul: Every time I’d use the denman brush I’d lose a small poodle. I just bought a kareco brush and it’s already treating me better. Hoping for more length this year

Luka Da Silva: Hi there, I have 4C hair and I have recently experienced a lot of breakage which has made my hair really uneven. My hair is thick so it looks normal but I can notice it and it bothers me. Do you think I can recover front this? I want my hair all even but it’s different lengths. Do I chop it all off or wait for it to grow out ?

Pundi Paradox: Faux locs & braids break my hair off too from the weight and I suppose my hair and scalp is allergic to the fibers. It seems like my hair just wont grow and breaks off so easily. Very frustrating.

olivia young: Mr. Bravo blast from the past! My hair is breaking off! Just washed hair after removing passion twists. Ugh ‍♀️ lost hair instead of growing it.

ogoo E1: I oiled my hair with extravirgin olive oil every day for a week and my heavy hair shedding essentially DISAPPEARED.... thanks to @Versonner McIntyre...

Chidalu Andrea: I had that same issue with the tight bun and then like wads of hair thinning from the back of my head. i think thats the weakest part of my hair. But now that its like this, I don't know how else to style it to kinda hide that one section. braids are too high tension for now until it grows back a bit more. any thoughts?

Maddie Thompson: I’m going thru this rn and it’s making me depressed lol.. my hair is so long and thick (it’s curly) it’s passed my but an these past two weeks my hair has been falling out like crazy every single day. To the point even when I lightly run my fingers through it hair is still coming out. It’s crazy I’m scared and I do everything to take care of my hair literally. Yes I have some split ends but it’s never cause this hair loss before. Literally balls of hair every single day

Betty V. Laurent: Same here , I started using organic peppermint tea for final ringing, it’s seems work well, maybe the color damaged your hair also. Good video

Lovina Okoronkwo: Wouldn’t the heaviness of the braids and manipulation cause even more thinning though? I’m going through this rn and it’s crazy because my bloodwork came back normal. I was considering getting jumbo braids but I don’t want my hair to get worse.

Katherine B.: Love your channel and honesty ✨

Winnie Not Pooh: Came to this video bc my hair just won’t grow, like at all. It seems like it grows more when I wear protective styles like wigs or braids but it never grows past my shoulders & I am getting so frustrated. I have started moisturizing my hair a lot more, started detangling it while wet, I have tried leave in conditioners, coconut oil, etc and every time I go to comb or brush my hair a hand full of hair comes out & idk why. Right when I think my hair is doing good it’s goes right back to its normal length & im honestly about ready to give up. It’s so frustrating & annoying.

Victoria Abdul: Your skin is amazing and flawless

NAZZ: Had to hit like real quick after I saw that updo. I want to be like you when I grow up

Kayla Bernard: Im just a little confused bc im going through bad breakage right now well its been happening for awhile but protective styling doesnt seem to help the situation much at all ... i mean i just started a brand new regimen last week but im kinda scared to even try with protective styling again bc the breakage is crazy

Cherry Berry: I have clumps of my hair coming out like your inserted picture every time I wash my hair and probably 75% of that when I’m not washing

Flatbedladyv: I have been losing hair at my temples and general hair line..at nights and when wearing anything on my head i stsrted wearing seran wrap around my hairline...i hope it helps....im freaking out at how much its just coming out in my hand....this natural hair journey hasnt been good for me..1 year of hairline shedding

Malisabell Bell: Am I the only person who can’t do protective styles. No matter what I do my hair breaks it’s been a nightmare for the past 9 years

aMy O: I have 4c (maybe even 4d? Lol it’s super thick) hair and my hair loves to be left alone! Also over-moisturizing is a thing as well to watch out for

Christie Rose: I just subbed. Your hair is ! I love that shirt. I’m an 80s baby, grown in the 90s!

Shade Vrutaal: Thanks for the tips. Full locks are heavy for me. I’m looking for a protective style that’s not that heavy. What’s your experience?

AshaBrandi Earley: Faux locs grew my hair like no other. I just have allergic reactions to the hair so I had to stop

Twisted Cake: Thankyou this help me sow much, in 2019 my hair was almost to my butt now it’s just in my back (I’m great full) but and i was dealing with stress and I kept doing my hair so now I’m keeping my hair straight and my ends are now cut and I’m trying to moisturizer my hair with things that aren’t heavy on my hair bc that’s would lead to to breakage to so now I’m doing straight and leaving it it stead of in the ponytail holders that broke my hair

bodaciousdani: I used to style my 4b/c hair everyday same style up in one and the whole middle part and nape broke off my hair. I'm now trying to get a regimen for my hair. One minute I keep one going and it grows then when I revert back to natural Puffs and go, it falls out again

April: You’re so pretty. I’ve noticed a lot of hair coming out when I wash. I am guilty of combing‍♀️ I do notice hair growth but I’m losing as well. I keep saying I think I need a cut which you confirmed here. Do you cut on dry or wet hair and do you do it yourself or you go to a salon? Your hair is a whole mood sis❤️

Kaymit Lit: Thank you for your video and your honesty peace and love from Paris France

Megan Simon: im also dealing with extreme hair loss and i also thought I had cancer or something. im gald im not the only one who thought that.

Rae Talks: Great tips!

Javonne Motley: My hair thinning was caused by stress and low iron

Diarra Abby: My hair is breaking in the middle. I don’t do stressful styles. I wash twice month but I grease oil my hair every Wednesday so I’m so lost. I don’t use new products like that I’m so lost.

Taliana Riettien: Girl I need that puff tutorial in my life. I loved cartoon network back in the 90s mid 2000s

Te'Keya Krystal: that palm in the thumbnail is exactly what I get every time I detangle my hair

Jesus Loves: Do you recommend any tools for detangling 4c hair?

Latrese Lane: How do you moisturize your hair while it's in locs and braids?

AshaBrandi Earley: I freaked out the same way. I completely understand.

Liveinthelifeof Ashley: Girl last year was so stressful!!!! Do you trim in the natural state or straighten hair ?

Amira A: bro idk what what’s wrong with my hair back in sep 2015 when i was like 11 i got a Brazilian blowout this lady lied and said it would my hair more manageable. I had 4a hair and it made my hair 3b-c. then i felt little spikes on my scalp- turns out it was new growth... hair was growing and a lot of hair was falling out. in April 2016, i had some strands if long hair and very short afro. weird. so my mom cut it down to the afro and i started new with 2 inches. my mom is east African so she has 2c-3a hair could not manage my 4a hair at all so i never did. I’m in 6 th grade watching these “grow hair over night” videos. than i start seeing girls with my hair. fast forward i’m 15 now and my hair is barley at my shoulders. my scalp tends to be very itchy. I have so much breakage on the middle of my hair crown. basically all on my scalp. when i went to the salon they ask what’s wrong with my hair everytime, this one lady told me i look like i have relaxer damage. my hair is mad uneven. i barley get my hair done, got box braids like once. i wear in a low pony tail very tight. no bonnet. i don’t want to have to cut all off again. i don’t know what to do? rice water, aloe ??? idk what to do and i literally cry about it all the time.

Katrina Lisa: Great video girl

FranViera: If you stand in front a window while looking at a mirror and your hair is looking thin. Does it mean it's breaking. And I'm doing twist but still getting knots in those twist I'm ready to chop it all off. It looks nothing like what I had when it first grew out. I've gone through a depression period for 2 years now and I have noticed a change.....

AdrielleMonea: i love this ineed to try it! but my hair grew a lot and im workin on a video rn for hair growth

been in this fandom longer than taehyung's forehead: I need to get back to co washing, hot towel treatments, finger detangling and drinking more water! That’s what has worked for me in the past but I have been lazy and impatient. :/

Angela Brookins: Bamb you hit the nail on the head stress will do all the things you mention wow. Green tea is the boom get back on it try useing hair. Grease on your scalp it just may help use water more water is key. Natural hair is beautiful and its a big job do protected style could help

Faith Harris: The color can cause alot of breaking also.

Vatoya Soodat: I'm grateful for this video

T C: Do you think the color may have caused some thinning, too? A lot of Youtubers ended up having to cut their hair after color. The T-shirt was so cute-Johnny Bravo and Dexter

Nas G.: Idk if this makes me a fool commenting the fact that I’m a guy but idk I find the ladies videos about hair being more informative in my opinion. idk if guys and girls hair are different in anyway but I do have high porosity and my hair been shedding like crazy I can rub my hair and pieces of hair falls out so any tips for my hair? A few other videos I watched said feel conditions is good for hair.

Karissa de la Garza: Just an FYI Cancer does not cause hair loss, chemo does!

Chelsey Chevalier: your hair is beautiful love ❤️

Oloveak Love: I moisturize my hair and deep condition weekly and my hair wont get thick and the ends still break off even after a trim

Trina Robinson: Try fenugreek seeds and green tea for hair breakage, it works well to retain and strengthen hair.
