Hey guys, it's Kirill and welcome to my channel and for another video. So in this video I am going to be playing with two of my favorite products and the first one is Amla. I have a whole detailed video on Amla. Why I like it? How to use it and some suggestions for different ways to mix it, so I will link that video at the end of this video. So look for that at the end and then the second one I have is fenugreek. So I recently again profiled fenugreek. I went into so much depth in terms of what it is why it's great for hair and how to use it so again that video will be linked at the end of the video. But in this video we are just gon na concentrate on using both of them together. The reason I'm doing this is because I will be making a custom mod, and so I have been experimenting over the years with individual mods just to try them and see what works on my hand, what doesn't so now I am in the stages of developing a Custom mod for my hair and I wanted to use the base as fenugreek and Amla, which are two of my ultimate must-have mods. So, as you can see, they have very different textures. The fenugreek is a little bit on the rougher side, it's more grainy and then Amla has a very soft powdery texture to it and it flies everywhere. So it's much much lighter so for this experiment, I used equal proportions well as equal as you can get with. Eyeballing, so I used two tablespoons of the fenugreek and 2 tablespoons of Amla and again for mixing. I will normally follow a protocol of the tried and true. So the first thing I'm going to add is oil and I used coconut oil, but you can use any oil of your choice. My recommendation my tried to tried-and-true chopped 3, which is olive, coconut and avocado oil. Ok, so I'm going to use 2 tablespoons of coconut oil because that's what I had at hand but again, the choices here are endless based on what you know works for your hair and what is practical for you. Next up, I am going to use another one of my tried-and-true mixing mediums and that is yogurt. I am using full fat yogurt, which I've used for a really long time, and it's super agreeable to my hair. If you're vegan substitute this with coconut milk or you can just use plain water or aloe vera juice or even a conditioner, so again, options here are endless, based on how your hair reacts to different products. Finally, one of the things I've discovered is to always use a warm mixing medium for this, and so I added boiling water again because my yogurt was in the fridge and it was cold. I needed something to bring that temperature up really quickly again the options there could be anything you like for a mixing medium as long as it's about room temperature, so I use the nutribullet, and this is a consistency I ended up with. As you can see, it's a little bit grainy, so it means that I have way too much of the fenugreek, which is the heavier herb. So this is where customization will really come into play, based on what you prefer and what feels good for you. So in my case, I went ahead and added more water in order to thin it out slightly to a consistency that I like. So this is why I emphasize on experimenting my videos out here just to make suggestions, not really what you should do, but it's just to give you ideas of what's possible with the different combinations, also try to use herbs or mods that you like that are agreeable To your hair, because simply because something works, so my hair doesn't necessarily mean that it will agree with your hair but of course, experiment with everything. So before you eliminate anything, you know for sure it doesn't work with your hair okay, so I left it overnight. Just to see if the consistency would change, and so this is another discovery living it overnight. As you can see here, the consistency is beautiful. The next morning it's a my liquid, it's flowing very easily and I can see how this would be very good for cleaning on my hair. So another discovery there mix it overnight, leave it overnight in a warm place and then use it the next morning and I have a much smoother consistency. So I prepped and primed my hair again with coconut oil. That'S what I had and there are no rules here again just applied in the smallest sections that you can and try to cover as much surface area for your hair. So why did I pick fenugreek and aminah? Well, fenugreek is the ultimate I really really like. It has proteins, Vita means saturated fat, it also has mutilates in it, which will help with heart clings to the hair. So fenugreek is really a remarkable herb to use for the hair, but it is also slightly alkaline. So the counterbalance to that is my other favorite herb, which is I'm not, and I'm not has been known to strengthen your hair root, especially in terms of preventing shedding. But it also preserves the melanin and melanin which are the pigmentation of the hair and that's how it prevents premature graying. So, as most of you know that this is my second big job, so I'm growing my hair out after chopping it off again and as you can see, it is super super dark. It'S almost jet-black and I can attribute this to consistent use of Amla. I'M going to darken your hair because again it's meant to preserve the color pigmentation of the hair, and so, as you can see, my hair is jet black. So if you wanted your hair to be super super dark, you should use Amla consistently. It'S not gon na happen overnight. You have to use it over time, but again it's much safer than using commercial dye and, as you can see, this makes pops out the curls. So you've got yogurt. You'Ve got fennel, you can you cut em now, all of which just pop up the texture of my hair, which again is like density 4c again per square inch of hair? I don't have a per square inch of scalp. I don't have a lot of hair, but you can see my curls pop up as soon as this product goes onto my hair and again this is a factor of numerous months of experimenting with different products and really knowing what works for my hair and as your Plan this product tried to rake it through. The goal is to get to as many strands you can and if you are doing this right and you have the texture I have, it should be able to see your cross Papa. So up close, you see that I have hundreds of thousands of tiny, tiny, tiny curls which are not always visible from a distance but the product on my hair. They are more visible and here I'm kind of dancing shaking something just to show you that, even though the product might look heavy, it's not very heavy on my hair and it allows for very good movement on my hair. So it's not weighing my hair down. So again, that texture is really really beautiful to look at and also because fenugreek is a little alkaline and the Amla is a little acidic. We have that balance to where it's perfectly set up for hair and then again, when you add a little bit of yoga to it, you put it more on the acidic side, which is ideal for hair and just look at that texture. It'S really really beautiful. To look at so often I will shoot these videos just to see up close texture, so I can see what my hair looks like and I really like doing that. Okay, so, finally, we are going to wrap this up, and the reason for that is, you do not want any of these mats drying on your hair because they will dry to a crisp and rinsing will be a nightmare, so we want to keep them moist. So you're going to put a plastic cap over your hair and always ensure that the edges are also covered very important and leave it on for a few hours, and here we are posts rinsed. So, as you can see, I have lost a lot of that definition, and this is three minutes later. I have already lost all the water, so that is everything you need to know about my hair, but the hair itself feels very, very strengthened, which I really like, but I have lost some of that softness and suppleness of moisture. So we need to rebalance this moisture and the culprit here is obviously fenugreek, which is a protein, but a very strong arm as well. So in the future, I think I'm gon na go lower on the fenugreek and higher on the Amla, because that is my base mix. So I don't need quite as much fenugreek. Is the lesson here again that this is going to show you what my 4c hair really is like from a distance? You really can't see that I have any curves to it. Okay. Finally, we are going to deep condition. We are going to rebalance that moisture. So again, I am going to use a custom mix. I am using a custom mix of conditioner and aloe vera juice. I have a video on that, so the product itself. The condition itself varies based on what I can find, but I always mix it with aloe vera juice, and I will have a video for that at the end and, as you can see as soon as I spray this on my hair, the consistency is very light Away, it's gon na get to a lot of my hair strands and you can begin to see that texture come back, which is an indication that I am bringing back the moisture in my hair because the girls begin to pop and then I'm gon na twist. Each section out of the way and then continue to do that in small sections and brinicle, where I feel I need to because keep in mind throughout this process. I have not detangled, which is kind of really really weird, but it just works um, it's a routine that I've perfected over time and that's how I do it. So I will be using Finn American Amla as basis, and I will show you other videos for accent. Mods that I will be adding thank you so much for watching if you haven't, subscribed, already click the subscribe button and welcome to the family. I will see you guys on my next video be safe until then, bye

Billie Nicole Tull: I used this on my hair On Tuesday (it is now Thursday). my hair is STILL so soft and moisturized, i am shook! I usually put some plats in my hair for the week and deep condition on the weekend. The moisture that is still there is wild

Erika Pasternack: This is such a helpful, informative video. It's really well thought out. The recipe is exactly what I was looking for- I'm excited to try this. Thank you!!

Sophia: 2tbsp fenugreek 2tbsp Amla powder 2tbsp coconut oil/avocado oil 3tbsp full fat yoghurt Some hot water. Use on clean hair??? 1. Blend ingredients and pour into glass bowl 2. Thin out with water as needed 3. Leave mixture in fridge overnight 4. Use next day as a hair mask 5. Wash out without shampoo?

DiscoveringNatural: I haven't use Amla in a long time. Last time I used it was about 5 years ago and I loved adding Brahmi powder to it

sailormoon206: I'm going to try letting the fenugreek sit overnight the next time I wash my hair. I did a mixture of fenugreek, henna, amla, hibiscus, and marshmallow root last night and my hair came out extremely soft which is surprising because my hair is usually protein sensitive. Only downside is that it was a pain trying to wash the pieces of fenugreek out my hair. Looking forward to your next video!

Shana Turner: Finally! I've been waiting for another video from you, especially an ayurveda like this one! Thanks!

Fraktur Obsession: Hey gorgeous. I love your natural curls. Thanks alot for sharing this video I have a question please. I know that fenugreek contains natural dht blockers which prevents hairloss and help in regrowth, but what about the smell ?
