Hey guys welcome back to another video, so this is my first video for the year, so just want to start off by saying happy new year. I hope you had a great start to the year so far, but firstly, if you're new to my channel, then thanks for stopping by I do have a number of hair care tips and tutorials on my channel, so make sure you check those out. So today I'm going to be doing a video showing all the haircare products that I use on my natural hair. I get questions all the time about what products do I use, and I have so many so I just wanted to sit down, go through all the products and share with you. You know what I'm using, how I use it. How often I use it, how I find using it on my hair? Basically everything you need to know so, if you're interested in finding out all the details, there definitely keep watching. So we start off with the cleansing products that I use. So the shampoo that I'm using at the moment is buy as I am, and this is from their dry and itchy scalp care range. This is a sulfate free shampoo and I like to do sulfates for it so like three products on my hair, simply because in this trip my hair of its natural oils and it doesn't leave my hair feeling, dry or brittle, and so I like to shampoo my Hair every one to two weeks, it's mainly on the too weak side at the moment, and but when I use this product it does a great job at removing a product buildup. I leave in my hair feeling soft and smooth. So it comes to co-wash products. There are two products that I'm currently using at the moment again. They are by as I am. This is the dry and itchy scalp care co-wash product and I'm also using their as I am long and luxe grow wash so both products again Lisa Cole, boss products. So no sulfates and these problems really good at removing build-up from my hair as well and again, I use these products every week to two weeks and I will alternate between them depending on. Why feel like using there's, no preference they're, both very good and work. The same way, and so they're really good again at removing product build-up and leaving my hair feeling soft and smooth as well so moving on to clarifying the products. There are two products that I use on my hair and there is the natural fusions by Palmer's clarifying shampoo, and I also use the Twisted Sister clarifying shampoo as well, and I clarify my hair every four to six weeks. Clarifying shampoos will remove the deep down product build-up that sulfate free shampoos may not be able to remove, and they are very harsh on the hair, which is why you don't use them too often, and which is why I only use it for every four to six Weeks and I will move that just to understand, remove everything from my hair so that my hair gets a clean slate and it's you know when I'm applying products and I'll better absorb the products, because sometimes you might find that using products on your hair and you're Thinking, oh my, you know it's not working the same way it used to it's not penetrating. You know it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I need to try something else, so it's not always that it could just be that you haven't clarified your hair in a long time and it's just that you're going to remove everything out of it all the Builder, all the dirt everything and then obviously, when You then apply your products again. It will absorb into your hair and work a lot a lot better and the going back to these being very, very harsh. When you apply to your hair, you will feel that your hair will not feel like squeaky clean rubbery. As I said, because it's removed everything from it, which is why you do not use it every week, just every month or every four to six weeks, and they will do a good job of cleansing your hair. So the next thing I'll do is deep condition. My hair and I have three products I'm currently using the first product, is from our Esther pension conditioner, I'm also using as I am hydration elation conditioner and I'm also using the longer luxe conditioner as well so and for those of you, they've been following me for A long time you will know that I've been using this products is the start of my hair journey back in what over twelve years ago. So this part is really good. It'S a light protein conditioner, so it contains both protein and moisture, which is great for balance. Seeing the elasticity in the hair strands and - and you know this products make my make my hair for we soft and smooth it's never letting me down, which is why this is the only product that I have stuck to and other products that I've used in a Pie, I've never really worked the same. However, I came across those aside, as I mentioned there long enough, conditioner and its really really good as well. It makes my hair feel soft and smooth and the same with the hydration elation. So I was happy to find two hundred products which my hair really likes, so how I use these products is, I will apply the product to my hair. I will then sit under my hoodie dryer, so I use heat and I'll. Let sit on my hair for 20 minutes and I'll wash it out, and that's literally what I do I like to use heat, because it's more intense and it's really going to help to strengthen the hair and provide the hair what it needs, because it's allowing the Cuticle layers of the hair to open up for all the conditioned agents to go inside and you know really repair and position the hair and give it what it needs so moisturizing product that I use. There is only one at the moment, and that is the aren't Jack he's not on my watch infants, tangled in therapy. I'Ve been using this for a while now and I started off using it as a detangling product and and I've kind of found that it didn't completely detangle my hair as expected. But what I did notice that it was really moisturizing. So I started using it as a moisturizer, and I haven't looked back ever since it like really defines my curls nicely as well. It just hydrates my hair, and it just it just absorbed into my strands, really really well and keeps my hair moisturized. So I'm really really like this product and, as I said, it's the only product that I'm using at the moment. I haven't found anything else that works as good, and but this is really good to use and you can give it a try for a detangling product. As well, although it doesn't work that great for me, it may work well for you and like to be honest with you when I am detangling my hair, I do like to spritz my hair water first add a little bit of this product and then go in For a little bit of oil to provide more slip, so there are different ways of using it and it can be affected depending on how you use it: okay, so another product that I use, which is gels. Okay, I use two products again by as I am as I'm smoothing, gel and I'll use these two kind of slick. My hair up are used in my hair today and to stick my hair into a high path and another product that I use as well. Is the Twisted Sister amazing dream, curl gel? I love to use this for wash and gos. It defines my calls beautifully. I haven't in a Washington globe in a long time, mainly because I've always experienced knots and tangles. You know I wash my hair every two weeks, as I mentioned so once I've created a washing, go I'll, keep the washing go my hand till the next wash day, which is two weeks later, and I experience lots and not some tangles, so I've kind of given Myself, a break from doing and washing goes. I haven't done it in the last. I don't know it may be free for months or so, and but this product is really good. If you're looking for a product to define your calls or your King to your the curls, whichever this product is really good, it is very moisturizing. There'S no hardness, there's no crunches, no flaking. It is such a good product and I also use it for sticking. My edges as well, but overall I really would like this product so definitely worth checking out, okay, so onto those edges and sneaking them down. And so two plus, but I'd like to use the again Twisted Sister nourishing sleek edge gel, and I also like to use the as I am long and luxe grow edges, edge controller and both of these products are really good. And what I like about them is that they're, very soft and smooth - because I know sometimes you come across these and itching tours - are quite hard when you're putting your finger in the gel it's very hard. These ones are not they're quite soft, and I like that. Cuz, it doesn't feel like I'm putting too much pressure on my edges, and so I will stick my edges down with either one of these, whichever one I have and then I will just smooth it in with my fingers or brush it down and then tie my Head down with the setting head scarf for maybe half an hour or two an hour and then remove it in the majors, nice and slick, but yeah these products are really good for keeping the edges laid and then giving a nice smooth, look and shine as well. Okay, so moving on to the twisting and curling product, so I like to use the e during hydration custard for doing my twist out. I'Ve used this in in the past, and I've got great definition in using this. It'S also moisturizing as well. It makes my hair feel nice and bouncy and smooth and shiny. This is a very good product. I did the twist out and a while back and I shared it on my Instagram page and a lot people ask me: you know which product did you use it to get these results, so this is their Eden. Body Works, hydrating custard for the twist now another product that I'm using my two stout as well, is by Akira care. This is the twist and defying cream. Again. I'Ve used this product for twist outs as well, which I've shared an effect on the video when it previously and I've shared it on my social media platforms as well. This is a really good product as well, and that gives me great definition and also there is the long and luxe curl enhancing smoothie as well. I'Ve used this product on my hair again, nice results. All of these products give really really good definition. Yeah it's moisturizing as well, so I was not just giving the definition, but my hair feels moisturized and I'll use these products, and at least my hair feeling really good and last but not least, moving on to the oils that I use on my hair and it's The same oils I've been using for years, some of you may have already seen these or before it is coconut oil, and this is the Vita Coco. Coconut oil is extra-virgin 100 % raw cold pressed and it's organic and I like to use this product for swimming moisture into my hair and massage it at my scalp, and I tend to massage my scalp about, say maybe three four times a week, massage my scalp For about a minute to two minutes and depending on the time that I have available - and I also like to use the peppermint oil as well - and I use this - it's an essential oil I'll - add this into my conditioner, mainly my pension condition about Rs. So I'll put a couple of drops into the bottle, give it a good shake around and then I'll apply it to my hair and having always great for helping to stimulate and encourage hair growth. So once I've put in my conditioner, I can feel it tingling on my Scout, so I know it's working and that's literally how I like to use it so guys. Those are all the products that I'm currently using on my hair and I don't really have there are a few products that I have that staple so like the aunt Jackie's, not on my watch innocent Italian therapy. Another staple is the ORS a pension, conditioner and also the edge control gels twisted sister and, as I am longer luck, and also I do like the hydration custard by Eden. Body Works. Peppermint oil, coconut oil there's quite a few, but in terms of products, are used for cleansing my hair, so shampoos and co wash products. I will use any product, there's no real particular staple product and anything that is going to cleanse my hair really well, and it's gon na leave my hair feeling soft and not dry and is a bonus, so any self like free product. What will work for me? Really so you may see me using this product now and then I've changed it. Let me know in a couple of weeks or months time and it doesn't really matter to me too much. As I said, it's just got to be sulfate, free and work on my hair really well so guys. I hope you found this video really useful. It'S going to give you some ideas of products to try out on your hair if you've got any questions about anything that I didn't cover then do comment below and let me know, and also don't forget to like this video if you enjoyed it and subscribe.
