Sadly, there's no magic potion that will make your hair grow faster. Yet; good news is there is much we can control by the way we treat our hair.

To promote optimal hair growth, you have to "feed" the hair from the inside and the outside. Proper diet, which includes adequate protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and B vitamins, is essential.

"Feeding from the outside" means using shampoos and conditioners that target the scalp, as well as hydrate the hair.

The speed at which your hair grows depends on both genetics and the shape of your follicles. Here is more information about the Hair Growth Cycle, https://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/HAC/hair_an...

Natural hair is a science; yet once you understand the right way to care for your strands, your growth potential will be unlimited!

You have everything you need within those three steps and that is shampooing, deep conditioning and moisturizing like your hair properly. I personally believe, especially if you're new, at your journey, that you have to keep things simple, because you would drag your feet to wash day to the next wash day i mean. If you know your regiment looks complicated because it becomes too much welcome back to the channel people in in today's video we're here to talk about my 4c natural hair regiment, and i kind of want to show you guys some of the products that i commonly use. Like off camera right, as you all know, i review a lot of products, but when i'm not reviewing products, i definitely want to show you guys what i use and tell you guys how simple my routine is like. I keep it simple. I do not do much at all now when i say that i don't do much at all. That doesn't necessarily mean, like i'm lazy like as a 4c natural. Well, i am lazy. I am very lazy when it comes to styling, but when it comes to like maintaining my wash day schedule. Believe me, your girl, is she get the strength from somewhere? You get what i mean, so the very first thing that i personally do is detangle my hair. Now i prefer to dry detangle my hair, but i must say this: i do not warn you. I do not dry detangle, my hair on, like desert dry hair. If i dry detangle my hair. That means that you know i'm touching my hair before, like all of my products, have fully like depleted right. So if i'm washing my hair once a week, i'm probably driving on my hair on day four, probably not day five, even though my hair doesn't feel like dry right, i know that majority of my products are almost gone and dry. Detangling is just not in the picture anymore. Yet when i do push my wash day when life just happens right, i will wet detangle in the shower with the curlsmith calming conditioner. Now this is the only rest out conditioner that i use on my hair um and that's because i don't normally use rinse out conditioners. I only use this when i push my wash day just too long, and i can't like dry detangle next, i shampoo and i'll be honest with you guys if i am not testing out a new product for this channel. The only shampoo i use is the allocate black soap shampoo. Now i have other favorite shampoos, like in my stash that i use like on my daughter's hair on my son's hair on my sister's hair right, but on my hair, this is my go-to. Like all the time - and it's truly because this product is like easy to spread like throughout my hair, this doesn't mean that i dislike other shampoos or you know like them a little bit less. I mean, i guess i kind of do like them a little bit less, because i always reach for this. I always reach for this because it's just easier to spray, because it's in a liquid form now one thing i do not do is skip deep conditioning. I never never skip this step. Deep conditioning has allowed me to like push my wash days when you know i just don't have like the energy. If i am feeling a certain type of way where you know, i'm not so happy about wash day right i'll. Just wait i'll just wait, because i'm not going to skip that step, even though that step is probably like the most time consuming so yeah, and i really can't show you guys, like my go-to, deep conditioners like right now, because i have so many like i have So many i'll link a video above of my 10 top favorite deep conditioners. If you need some recommendations, but i truly don't have like a go-to deep conditioner, because i like so many and i test so many out on this channel more than any other product. Or you know category that i'm gon na go through today, so it's just too many to name to mention one particular brand in this video. Now, before we go into how i moisturize my hair after deep conditioning and shampooing, i just want to say i do not have like a rotating schedule like within my regimen actually in the facebook group at my natural hair life, that is a community of naturals who Go on there, one, because we are product junkies right two, if you need some like hair advice like on a daily basis. You definitely want to join us in that facebook group, so we can help you. However, in that group, we're currently talking about having a healthy rotation within your regimen, and i stated on the facebook group that i don't necessarily have like a rotating schedule - um that is common like within our natural hair community. Only because my hair is at its healthiest right now right, so there is nothing lacking in my regimen like i'm not lacking protein, i'm not lacking moisture. I don't rotate my products because my hair is at its healthiest right and i'll, listen to my hair. So if you have issues in regards to developing like a rotated schedule for yourself definitely comment that down below, and i would definitely follow up with you to see how i can help okay. But as far as i go, i don't have like a particular like rotating schedule per se. It truly just depends if i'm going for a really defined look or if my goal is just moisture throughout the week. That is like the only thing that i rotate truly. Besides, you know the 101 deep conditioners that i use on a monthly basis so before we jump into these combinations of you know whether i just want moisture throughout the week or if i'm going for, like definition right, i must say after deep conditioning my hair, i Only put my ph balance: love naturals, leave-in conditioner on my hair in my diy oil, which will be coming to the market soon. I only put this leave-in conditioner in oil on my hair to allow my hair to kind of like stretch out and then the next day i moisturize my hair. Not only that i am a person who believes in using your energy wisely like after shampooing and deep conditioning, i'm tired, i'm so tired. So i try not to just do my wash day in one day, because i'm literally gon na wear myself out and to be honest, my wash day, is over three days. Like i detangle one day, i shampoo and condition the second day, and then i add my styling products the third day. So when it comes to me just wanting more stuff throughout the week like if i'm planning to keep my hair up just like this, i normally grab for the quench by jackie's leave-in and the burdock root buttercream. Now this combination is bomb so freaking bomb that i did a video on it. You guys got to check that out in the i cards above when i'm going for a definition. My two creams now are the well. Our beauty has always been a one, like always been a one right, but i'll go for the ottawa beauty, but now the new cream. That i absolutely love is the on jackets curl la la custard. This, i probably use more in the wintertime versus the summer time because it really doesn't do like that good of a whole in the summer time. Yeah. Our beauty is my go-to. When you know summertime hits, it's always been my go to. This is mainly how my watch they look if i'm not on camera. Like i keep it simple, i am not like a serious diy girl like i will try some things. Don'T get me wrong, but on a normal week i'm not diy and nothing. I personally believe, especially if you're new, at your journey, that you have to keep things simple, because you will drag your feet to wash day to the next wash day i mean. If you know, your regiment looks complicated because it becomes too much right. Your hair may feel bomb whatever right, but i just want to let you guys know any like rinses like tea, rinses, rice, water rinses. That stuff is just extra right. You have everything you need within those three steps and that is shampooing, deep conditioning and moisturizing, like your hair, properly, now how you style, your hair is totally up to you. I personally again keep it simple. This is where my laziness come in. This is normally how, like i like to wear my hair and twist. These are just two flat twists. You know going to the side and then occasionally i'll wear my hair out, but you will not see me in another style: either is twisted or is a twist out, and that is it last but not least is how i maintain my hair throughout the week and Truly, it's only three things that i consistently do throughout the week that i feel that keeps my 4c hair healthy right. I do not sleep with my hair loose like don't get me wrong. There are some days where your girl, just don't, have energy right life like hip right, but normally i do not sleep with my hair loose right. I feel like if your hair is at a length where you can twist it up. You definitely want to twist it up. It just makes wash day so much easier, not to mention it may change like your definitions, so you know your style is like on point for the next day, and the second thing is when i twist it up at night. All i use is water to kind of like reactivate the products. That'S already in my hair. I do not add on additional products throughout the week. The only time like i apply like my products or styling products or leave-in conditioners right our own wash day right for refreshing. I just use water before i twist my hair at night and believe me once you start doing that and you take down your hair. Your hair better retains it's moisture throughout the day, because truly the only thing that evaporates like when we're outside is water right, and the last thing i do is sleep with my satin bonnet now. I do have these available on my website, but i say all this to say: i do not go to bed like without, like something sad material like against my hair. Like i just don't. No, it's not real silk right. I don't feel like you need a hundred percent silk. I mean if you have the coins baby. Do you right do you, but for somebody like me, satin does the trick satin. Does the trick satin just eliminates the amount of friction that is rubbing up against your strands and even though it's not 100 maintaining your moisture because product just rubs off right, like that's natural right you're, not damaging like the cuticle layer of your strands period, so i'll Link a video in the i cards above if you want to know a little bit more about hair science, but you all that is it. I keep it simple. I do all those things shampoo, deep condition, moisturize my hair, those three steps. As far as like, when i go to bed, i don't go to bed with my hair loose on a good day like really like it sometimes right and, of course, sleeping with some type of sad material before i go to bed and if you guys want to Check out the satin bonnets that i have on my website. Definitely look in the description box below, but tell me what questions do you have for me? What is your natural hair regimen like? What does that look like? Do you incorporate a rotating schedule like within your regiment? I personally don't but tell me if you do. Let me know how that looks. For you believe me, you will be helping another natural now before you go, especially if you're new to this channel your girl got separation, anxiety issues, i don't like people leaving me right. You know what, if you can do me, just one favor hit that subscribe button and click. The next video i'll see you guys over there bye

STEPHANIE: Im a lazy natural when it comes to styling. I love my mini twists in a bun. I remoisturize and oil my hair every 2-3 days. My hair is very healthy.

Stef: Love the simple hair regimen I tried to make mine complicated but chileee the laziness hit and I went back to my 3 step regimen My hair is still okay, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

LaCostasDreams: That was one of the things I struggled with when I started my natural hair journey!! Keeping my hair moisturized was a big issue and trying to figure out what to do my hair at night!! I enjoyed this video!!

Tiarrea B Just Doing Me: I am so here for this. Your hair gives me hope..I got my twist in right now, patiently waiting for my inches.

Nana Aba Afriyie: My wash day is done in three days too. I undo my braids on Friday evening after work. Apply a good amount of oil and detangle my hair. Takes about 5hours to get it all done. Luckily I don't have work during the weekend. On Saturday, I shampoo, deep condition, do my rinses or whatever DIY I'm trying that day. Then seal in the moisture and then thread it to stretch it. On Sunday after church, I get my neighbor to retwist or braid it for me. Monday I'm off to work.

CubsDen: I love your styles - You KISS it => You Keep It Straightforward & Simple

Shefly Natural: I love my Jheri J Bonnet! Satin does the trick for me too! I have found that if I have good moisturizing products on my hair, that adding some water to re-twist, does the trick. My hair sweats too bad and tangles too bad for me to leave it loose even in a bonnet.

Nicky Dancy: I use grease and water. Im good for a wk. I spritz water. Wash, dc & hot oil at the same time with thermal cap once a month while my hair is still braided or twisted.

JackieNaturals: Hey Jheri, I need to try the CurlSmith. I don't skip deep conditioning either. That is great that water alone works for your hair. I have tried that but my hair is super dry if I tried that for seven days but it may be b/c I like in So Florida and it is super hot and humid. I sleep with something satin too usually my satin scarf or bonnet and satin pillowcase. FW and have a great day.

The Callenders: I keep it simple when am off camera. But you know I like my DIY

Shirley Ann: I like keeping it simple when I am not film I wear my hair in a mess ponytail under a bonnet

LaTanya Mikell: Thanks again for the information cause I am trying to figure out how to keep my hair growing out

Tee Sulli: Your hair is absolutely beautiful. Great tips. I am curious to know, on wash day do you keep your hair in twists or do you prefer to keep your hair loose or sectioned?

Kurlie KeKe: Soooo, I’m one who drags my feet to wash day and sometimes may skip deep conditioning because of this ....I’ll try breaking it up in two days and see if it makes a difference

Shante Hale: Hey Jheri great video

Rachel K: That alikay black soap shampoo smells amazing!

CuteNobi: I currently rotate shampoos: sulfate shampoo, cleansing oil, cowash, sulfate free shampoo. I would like to eventually reduce how many shampoos I use. But I haven’t found the right one which I’m coming to conclusion that there’s no perfect product (that’s why I’m a product junkie).

Carramel: I’m happy to hear that you don’t have a go to deep moisturiser I’m not alone lol. I can’t sleep with a bonnet on , I use a satin pillow case instead.

4C Chick: I break my hair up in 2 days, I will be so tired if I did everything in 1 day

Naturally Focus: Please give me some good leave-in conditioner recommendation. I use only the Shea Moisture leave-in it has been my go to leave-in conditioner. Infact I have not tried anything other leave-in because I love how it made my hair feel. However, I notice that the one I purchased last week, did not make my hair feeling moisturize like I am a custom to, not sure what change, but something did so I want to change my leave-in. My hair loves thick leavin. Looking forward to your response.

Davina Smalls: Definitely need your help with rotating lol

mesidye: “Doesn’t mean I Like ....them....a little bittttttt lesss ” yeah we already knew that sentence was gonna be annulled ASAP

Cherl Hill: Please recommend a very good moisturizing shampoo?

FYPM_Staffing: It's doesn't seem like it's alot of steps.

ItzClovey Nuh: 55th. ️❣️☺️
