Hey y'all: what is up what I do welcome back to my channel or welcome if you're new, my name is Casey and if you are new, take a second go down below hit that subscribe button and click that little Bell button, so you'll never miss. When I post a new video so today, I'm coming to you guys fresh up like I literally just woke up maybe 20 minutes ago, and sometimes there are days where I just don't feel like styling, my hair. So in the video that I just posted my whole wash and go routine with the products and the gel and everything I don't do that every day, especially being in quarantine some days, I just need to put some moisture in my hair, and so I do this On days where I don't care, if my curls are really defined, if I don't care, if my hair is styled perfectly because I'm just gon na be in the house, you know - or I'm just gon na throw on a scarf and wear it like that. I only use a gel on days where I want my curls to be super defined and, like perfectly styled, so today, I'm gon na show you guys pretty much how I moisturize my hair on a daily basis on days where I'm not actually styling it. So my hair is pretty dry right now I did style it about two days ago. I didn't do anything to it yesterday and so it's pretty dry, as you guys can see. The curls aren't really that defined anymore, and I don't care because I'm not wondering it like this, so sometimes what I'll do is I'll get in the shower and I'll. Let the steam get to my hair first, so it kind of loosens up the hair. A little bit makes it easier to apply product and sometimes I'll, just go straight in with the product. So I have been obsessed with this as I am restore and repair Jamaican black, castor oil water at first I was like I'm not about to spend my money on water, but it is so good and you can use it in a bunch of different ways. You can use it as a leave-in. You can use it as a wash and go refresher. You can use it like. I'M gon na use it today as like the first step in the loc method, which is leaving oil cream, maximum hydration maximum moisture method and when I'm just moisturizing my hair and no styling products and stuff. I always start off with this, and it's literally a water. So it saturates my hair, but it also has jamaican black castor oil in it. It has vitamin E oil in it. It also has vitamin C in it, and apparently it's a special formula allows like better penetration of the oils into the hair, because it's literally a water oil and you might think, like water and oil doesn't mix. But for some reason, with this unique formula it does and as soon as I applied to my hair it just it feels so good, I literally feel it like loosening up my curls now. I typically won't use this to just refresh my hair cuz. It'S just a water, so I don't really like using straight water to refresh my washing goals. It just makes my hair gets too frizzy, but it can be used as a washable refresher as well, but I'm just pretty much using this to damp in my hair and get it ready to absorb the other products. I'M gon na apply and I stand out here and do my hair a lot cuz. I really like this mirror. If you didn't know, hair will absorb products a lot better when it is moist. So, even if you don't use this product, you can definitely start off this routine with just using straight water. I just like this one because it has the added benefits of the oils, and it too. So now, when you look at my hair, it already looks pretty moisturized. It feels good, but I have high porosity hair. So it's really important for me to use products that are gon na, actually seal the moisture into my hair. It'S really easy to get moisture in, but the moisture will also leave very easily with high porosity hair. So for the oil method I actually use two different oils on my scalp. I use my SP peel-off nourish growth oil that you guys have seen me use in all my hair growth videos, I'll use this on my scalp as many times a week as I can. It says to use it at least 3 times a week. But for me I apply almost every day. I basically just take it. I used a little dropper makes it easy to apply to my scalp, and then I just apply it like this, and I've really been loving this oil - I can definitely say my hair - is growing. Very well and this oil is not only packed with a bunch of natural oils, but it also has a bunch of unique herbs herbs that are really well known for like speedy hair growth. So I don't take that oil on my hair. It'S a really thin oil. So I don't think it's very moisturizing for my hair strands, but I use it directly on my scalp and then I just massage it in now. You could definitely apply this oil straight on dry if you don't want to saturate your hair first. But for me it's just it's easier for me to get to my scalp when my hair is wet, because when it's dry, it's like literally impossible to run my fingers through. So I just take it. I massage it in, and I just massage that in feels really good. Like I said I don't really apply this oil to the lengths of my hair. Obviously my hair is short, so it'll get on the ends of my hair, but I don't focus it there. It'S a very lightweight oil. I don't feel like it's very moisturizing for or I don't think it's. I don't think it's necessarily thick enough for the strands of my hair. So I just hope this it on my scalp and doing that daily definitely helps with hair growth, and I apply that oil, even when I'm styling my hair, not just for this moisturizing routine. So for the length of my hair, I like using this jamaican mango and line hemp oil. If you have high porosity hair hemp seed oil is so good for our hair. It'S really good for low porosity hair as well, but especially high for a city. So I pretty much just take a small amount of it, not too much, and then I apply it directly to my hair and this oil is so thick. It just feels so good on my hair, and this feel is good for the scalp as well. So I'll, actually massage it through my hair and through my scalp jamaican mango and limes hemp seed, oil actually also has a lot of castor oil in it, and my hair loves character oils. Oh, I love applying this to my hair is my oh, my oh and my lack method. Ok, so last but not least, we have to seal all that moisture in for my cream of my lco method, I am obsessed with this tgin miracle repair curl food. This moisturizer is so balm, it is so thick like you guys, can see it's almost empty and it is just it's thick. It'S moisturizing, it smells so good and this line from tgin was created pretty much to help with strengthening the hair. So if you have high porosity hair, even if your hair is not color treated or it's not damaged, it's really good to use products that are made for repairing their hair strand, because high porosity hair naturally has all these little holes in it, which is not really Good for the hair, it makes it very susceptible to easy, breakage, I'm easy, moisture loss and so just using products that are reparative and can help fill in those holes. It'S really good, so I just massage that through my hair and as you guys can see these products, they are defining my curls, but it's not defining my curls the way a gel would and that's okay, because I'm not focused on that today. I'M just focused on moisturizing my hair, and sometimes your hair needs that you don't need to put on a gel every single day and when I say using these products together, my hair feels like butter feels so good alright. So this is my hair, like I said, curls aren't super defined, but they're moisturized, and that's all that matters just by Nature. You know my curls are going to define slightly because they're moisturized and they're wet, but this is definitely not how I would style my hair. You know if I was wearing it out. I like to have more definition from a gel. So now there's a couple things you can do from here. Sometimes like let's say I have to go out I'll actually put on a turban, so like a black turban or one of those printed turbans, you know wrap it around my head and then my hair is nice and moisturized, and then I have a scarf on top To cover it, but typically when I'm just sitting in the house I'll just let this sit, the way that it is and then once it dries I'll just put on a scarf. I don't really like putting on a scarf while the hair is still wet cuz. It just feels weird so I'll just walk around the house. Let my hair dry like this, and then I throw in a scarf when it's dry, I'm actually going to go, walk friend. She really quick, and then I will come back by then. My hair should be pretty much dry and then I'll put this on okay, so my hair is pretty dry at this point, so I'll just take the scarf, and this is pretty much how I wrap my turbans as well. I just put my head over. I tie it like this in the front and if you follow me on Instagram, then this is how you see me most of the time on there, especially in quarantine like I just put this scarf on I'll wrap it under, and this is my little in house. Look, this is literally the look. I'Ve been wearing in quarantine like big t-shirt and a scarf alright guys. So I hope this video was helpful if it was give me a thumbs up. Those really helped me out, don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you haven't already all the products that I used will definitely be linked down below and hopefully I'll see you guys all in the next video bye,

Kaice Alea: Don't think my hair looks how it does in my styling videos all the time lol!! I can be lazy about my hair routine too!

AccordingToJaz: Gotta get my moisture up. I tend to neglect my hair sometimes where it gets really dry. I know my curls would be bomb if i gave it more tlc.

H I D D N B E A U T I E: On my journey and I’m learning that I actually just might be high porosity instead of low porosity lol Girl natural hair is a trip!

S J: Wow, this video is so informative! This is my first time hearing of “High porosity hair.” I’ve done some brief reading about it and will continue to learn because I think that is my hair type too. I’ve noticed that even if I DUMP hair products into my hair, it STILL feels and looks incredibly dry a short time later. Like you said, the hair will quickly absorb the product, but it’ll quickly let go of it too.

Way M: Love the consistency, the content and YOU! ❤️

Jazmine Thomas: I more so do this routine in the summer and winter time , or when it just feels like my fro needs some love. Definitely gonna add that As I am water to my list to try out after I use up a couple more of my liquid spray refreshers/leave ins, which I'm pretty close

Brittany Adams: I'm in love with that water. I've been threw 2 bottles already & that curl food I use it all the time also!!

Tanisha 1tlc: So naturally beautiful thanks for sharing! Stay safe ❤️

Healthoverlength: Imagine now putting on a conditioning cap...moisture plus growth

chinezeslife: so needed this! because when i let my hair be dry y’all.. it be dry. ordering the jbco water & miracle repair cream now!

Irene Ella: I haven’t used As I Am products in so long but they have so many good products now. I have high porosity hair too but I use the LCO method. You just reminded me that I have to oil my scalp now. ‍♀️ I’ve been sitting in this durag since wash day. Thanks for sharing❤️

xxhellcat :3: I feel you on that sometimes I just mist my hair with water put Abit of moisturizer followed by a oil just be rocking my bonnet all day never really been good at styling my hair but I'll learn eventually

shalom tsegaye: this quarantine has me neglecting my curls and its not okayyyy

ayana curtis: The part about Hemp seed oil is super helpful and I have been thinking about TGIN products so I will keep an eye out for them. Do you co-wash or ACV rinse after you use gel for a style or do you always shampoo?

Marissa Wayan: how many times a week do you do your moisturizing hair routine?

Felicia Dunn: I practice the LCO method. It works much better for me. I get my choice of leave in and a cream and then oil and sometimes grease.

Natasha Posadas: I have to thank you for your video , just got a fresh trim for my natural short curly hair and the hair stylist said my hair was well moisturized . I had watched your video routine days prior and went and purchased the As I Am spray your using , co wash , hair lotion other products from As I Am. Thank you so much , I am on my hair care journey.

KDM369: Peace, Appreciation and Value Queen

Keiona Simone: I loveeeeeeeeeee the jbco water! I use it to dampen my hair before the moisturizing process

Mori: hiiiii ! i was wondering if i should do a routine like this everyday ? or every few days. my hair isn’t growing and i get dandruff and i’m just not sure what to do.

Bianca Regine: Idk if it’s because I JUST watched your shaved head video but I feel like your hair is growing so fast lol

Nicole Williams: I absolutely love As I am black castor oil water and the curl enhancement cream.

Joshua Chapman: I have high porosity hair as well. after you put those products in your hair how long do your hair stay moist? Do it for the whole day? Do it dry out later on throughout the day?

ivy binge watcher: I'm glad I ain't the only one with super short hair❤

MaryuuRekkou: I am a black male and I recently shaved my head bald because my hair did not grow in full in the crown area. I wash my hair every friday with shampoo and conditioner and then apply a leave in condtioner and then small dallops of castor oil to seal it in. For the following days i apply more castor oil (in small amount) to keep my hair moisturized with the leave in conditioner still in until my next wash day which would be friday. so my question is, is this safe for my hair or should i only apply the Leave in and oil once until my next wash to avoid clogging the follicles?

Tanaé Briana: Your hair is beautiful! It DOES look really defined and so moisturized! Also, I neeeeed to know what clip-on mic you're using lol

Raheema Fray: I love as I am products I need to repurchase some and try out that JBCO spray. Your hair is growing beautifully, love it

WisdomIsGIVEN: New SUBBIE ..Thank you so much ..I just did the big CHOP 6/25/22 New GROWTH NO MORE RELAXERS

Kimberly Rowe: It makes so much sense why your hair doesn't respond well to hair dye. If your hair is high porosity when its virgin, dyeing it lifts the cuticle is probably too much. So it would be dryer, frizzier, stiff even.. Ahhhh makes so much sense.

Imani McDonald: I love your videos Kaice!

Jamisa Spalding: I want to try every single product. No joke! I mean I love using products for hair repair. Like that's it for me.

Noah Thomas: You are so gorgeous. I swear you were a fairy in a past life‍♀️

Brandi Johnson: I’m ready for my ‘Big Chop’!

Careesa Reid: How do you refresh your hair? My hair gets really frizzy with water too.

Adrian J.: Tgin is where it’s at... and As I Am

Ms Naddy: Question: Why is it important to wear a scarf after moisturizing? Or can I just leave the hair out?

Aaliyah Shabazz: That JBCO water is amazing. I love it

HAJdaink-topic: How to grow natural hair: 1.moisturize it can be such as oil, water, cream, grease, 2.wash your hair once a week or every two weeks!! 3.leave your hair alone 4.detangle 5. Treatments like rice water, aloe Vera 6.hair leave in masks!
