What'S up guys, it's your girl, Bonnie and welcome back to the channel. If you are new here, my name is Bonnie and over here we do natural, hair beauty and lifestyle. This is a community where, like everybody, to share, learn and grow, and I definitely want you to be a part of it so welcome to the squad, and so in this video we're gon na be discussing how I take care of my hair and the products that I use to keep my crown flourishing, so let's get started with the video okay, so tip number one. I use a sulfate free, shampoo, washing your hair with South Bay. Free shampoos cannot only help reduce your scalp from feeling very irritated and itchy, but it can also help keep the moisture inside of your hair fibers, because sulfate strip, the moisture from it and leaving it feeling dry and brittle use the sulfate free shampoo. When washing your hair tip number two moisture moisture moisture, I cannot stress this enough. Natural heat tends to be very dry and very brittle, and it does not maintain moisture like different hair types do, and so it is very important for us to replenish the moisture inside of our hair because it will strengthen the hair strand and reduce it from break The third tip is treatments now the hair that is already grown out of your hair is all day, especially. The ends is old and very weak hair. Giving it treatments will help strengthen that hair and will also help maintain the length of your hair and your hair from breaking as well. So treatments are very in what step is handle your hair with care? Okay, it is very fragile, and you know it is the Crown's on our heads. We need to handle it with care, so here are a few tips on how best to handle your hair with k1 reduce manipulation. That is the movement of your hair. Okay. I know people see curly here they like to come up to you and touch your business. Okay. So just as much as you don't want them touching your hair, you also should reduce the amount of manipulation that you do to your hair. Next thing is: is reducing heat and getting that as low as possible, so that includes blow-drying and maximum heat flat, irons, curling irons. All of those things reduce it as much as possible. For me, I straighten my hair every six months and that is just to check the length, give it a little trim and get the called back and puppet next up is to wear protective styles, especially in winter. I say in Johannesburg, which is more inland, which means it is really really dry: cold, plus cold air plus dryness equals dry hair and it needs to be protected. So things like getting your hair, braided or buns or twists. You know those are like the base hit, stops for you during winter and can also help protect the older hair as well. This thing is: detangle your hair with a detangling conditioner with a normal conditioner, anything that provides your hair with slip. Detangle, your hair, when it is wet, do not diss hangul. Your hair, lord have mercy when it is dry. That is the most fragile state that your hair is in detangle when it's wait, use a wide tooth comb or your fingers. I personally choose to use my fingers. I think that really does reduce the manipulation of your hair and that's the one that I think works best for me. Okay, guys. So now that we have talked about a few tips on how to handle your hair and how to take care of your hair, let's get into what products I use. Okay, so the sulfate free shampoo, I use it by Palmer's. It is the olive oil smoothing shampoo. One of the treatments I use is the ultra nourishing deep conditioning treatment by Africa. Another treatment that I do once a month is a protein treatment, and this is by ORS. It is the hair mayonnaise Mesa leaf and horsetail extract. Another treatment that I use is by Anor. It is the afro vegan mask the conditioner that I use is the afro vegan in noir conditioner. The oil that I use is the average true growth oil. I tend to buy the oils that already mixed. I'M kind of lazy, so I don't like to buy a bunch of oils and mix them together, so I just buy the mixed ones, and I'm just very cautious at the oils that are inside of here and also any other chemicals that are inside of here is Also very important watch your chemicals, I use the Cantu moisturizing core activating cream and I use the tgin honey web hydrating for a gel. I use the eco styler. I like this one because it doesn't have any alcohol in it. Alcohol can also be very drying, so take note of that when buying your gels for edge control, I use the olive oil or is edge control, okay. So another thing that I want you guys to take note of is that I use a wide variety of products from different brands, and the reason for that is is because I like to try out different products and see how my hair reacts to it yo. He needs a certain amount of time for your heads actually activate. So what I do is I use the product until it's finished and then I'll go ahead and buy a new product and slowly but surely I'm starting to find my holy grails and products that I will absolutely not change. However, I am NOT at that point, so I will keep trying new products, so this range that you saw right now is most likely gon na change and if you guys want to be updated on the new range of products that I'll be using just comment down Below - and I will definitely keep you guys updated on the products that I'm trying and also what I personally think works best for my hair. Another thing is that you're gon na have to go ahead and find what works best for your hair. Just because, for example, we might have the same. Hair type doesn't mean that we can use the same products, because our hair porosity might be different. Ah-Hey density might be different, and so it's very important to take care of your hair, based on how your hair actually is. This is also a three part series. It is called. Let'S talk about curls. We have another two parts that you guys can go ahead and watch the first one is porosity and density. The second video is how to identify you hate type. These three facts are very, very important for you to understand your hair and how to take care of your hair and what ingredients in products work best for your hair. That is also very important, so go ahead. Watch those three identify which are here porosity density and hair type is and then move forward from that. If you would like to see more of this space on the daily, you guys can follow me on my social media. It is Instagram and runny levees ooh snapchat Advani, levees, ooh, Tik, Tok, Advani, levees, ooh and just notes. I am a new tick tock us when you guys go on there, please be sensitive to my feelings.
