Hey guys, it's me pondrá. I am here today to show you how I achieved my perm rod set last week. I got so many questions and so many pots so much positive feedback on that style. So I decided that I'll go back and do it again, since I didn't record it the first time it was just a trial run. I did it on dry. Hair stretched dry hair, but before I did, it was actually my wash day so I did wash my hair before just to show you what I used. I used the cream of nature, argan oil prolixus co-wash. This is pretty good and I actually used something new. Why didn't I used a couple new things in this whole styling session, Shea Moisture, jamaican black, castor oil strength and grow conditioner? I left that in for about 20 minutes and sat under the hooded dryer now this is this is a disclaimer that this style I did use a lot of heat, because I was rushing, I'm letting my hair to be dry, so we're going to be using a Lot of heat protectant, I am also trying something new talking to you guys. While I actually do my hair, I really don't care for doing it because I live in Washington, DC southeast and I live in an apartment, complex and I had three kids, three boys and a live-in boyfriend. So it gets kind of loud here. So I tried to do my voiceovers, so you won't hear everything that's going on around me, but I wanted to try something new something different now, because my watch day was last week, I'm not going to wash my hair again. This is actually a curly fro from the perm rod set the curls lasted for about five days. Bye yeah, they lasted pretty long. So I was very, very, very proud of the outcome of my perm russet, I'm starting with dry hair, I'm going to wet it and then stretch it out again using a lot of heat protectant and now just go over the products that I used, and I will Also put the products in the description box below so my well just get started. Okay, so I parted my hair off into four sections and, as you can see, it still stretched from the heat I applied to it last week. Just I can give you guys the full feel of it, I'm going to still wet my hair and then reload right to straighten it out. So I went ahead and did that whole process on the other three sections off camera. So I could save you all the time and the noise of the blow-dryer okay. So let's get into the products that I use to actually style my hair, the cream of nature and argan oil cause y'all know I love criminais heat defense smooth and shine polisher. This is the key, the key to the curls okay and then fuse cream of nature, argan oil, styling style and shine, foaming mousse and then we're going to use the butter licious curls hydrating cream. Let me just get there: you go see we're gon na use that I section my hair off into one big part in the back and then I did four sections going towards the front. The bigger portion of my hair, I'm going to do about eight perm rods. The orange perm rods you can do smaller, but I ain't got time for that. I'M going to go ahead and do this side because, while I was doing this, I didn't realize that the red light wasn't blinking, which meant that I was not filming so oops. To start off we're gon na put some of this heat defense shine, like I said the key. You don't need that much, probably like a dime sized for your sections of hair, depending on how big you want your sections to be, and it just from roots to tip rub that in okay, I'm going to section this part off into even smaller section. Y'All should know by now, since my first video, I have no clue how to park. My nails are actually a lot shorter, so this would be a lot easier. This should be a lot easier, okay and then I'm going to take my nail and just do a little fit part because we're pinning this up anyway right. So there's no point of having perfect parts, the style and shine. Foaming. Mousse. Add this to your hair, basically dampen it! It'S a lot lighter than just using the product that I'm curling the finer over my whole head, which makes it dry a lot faster, and it actually makes your hair very soft. So I'm going to twist down halfway making sure my twists are tight. Putting a little bit of foam are here rubbing that in and then the butter licious get a dab of that Josh and just detangle orange curlers. So, in order to make this spiral curl, you have to start off at the bottom of the curler, wrap your end around it and then, as you're rowing roll over top of your ends, that'll make sure that your the ends of your hair will be smooth while It dries because, if you're a 4c girl like me, you know that when you put perm rods, and/or curlers in your ends end up like bushy and who wants bushy ends on a curl. I am finished. You know that you have basically achieved the best perm rod. Curling set when you look like this, like your grandma: yes, get it right, honey. Now. What I'm going to do is take this cream of nature, argan oil, perfect, 7 leave-in treatment and I'm just gon na spray it all around not in my mouth and then I'm going to go sit under my headed dryer for about an hour, see y'all! Then, hopefully, I'm not a whole different tone. Okay, I'm back and I tested two in the front and they seem to be dry, so we're gon na go ahead and take these now. Okay, the perm rods are all out and, as you can see, the hair is so soft, fluffy bouncy, yes, okay, so the next step is, you can style it. However, you want, but the style that I was going for was the up dude. So get your trusty club, your trusty, wide tooth comb or pick and just bring the back up all the way to the sides, and it's basically like you're fluffing, your hair, but you're fluffing it up in a different position. Now that I got my bobby pins in I get to use my trusty - that's not dusty, but my handy-dandy, how about that rhyme handy-dandy cream of nature extra hold edge control. You know I live by this stuff and I go through it so much and you don't need that much just slice, some of your sides just to get some finishing touches for the matches and if you don't feel like your hair, is falling into your face as Much as you want it to go ahead and get a bobby pin now they damn, let's grab one more
