TRESEMME BOTANIC COWASH VS CONDITIONER| WHICH SHOULD YOU BUY TO CLEANSE?

A lot of us use conditioner to wash our hair in between shampooing our hair so when our influencer basket came with a dedicated cowash product I was curious to know what the difference would be between the conditioner in my wash day basket and the cowash in the influencer basket both by TRESEMME.

In this video I let you know what my thoughts are on both the products.

Thank you so much for watching, I value you and your time. ❤️

Crushing is a trend that has taken over the natural hair. Community and brands are capitalizing on that situation and why? Wouldn'T they? They are in the business of making money and if we keep creating these trends and if we keep opening the door for them to make more money out of us, they will be foolish to not take advantage of these situations and give us what it is that We want at any given time that's exactly what tresemme did when they launched this co-wash, which they are promoting as a better alternative to using conditioner. When looking for a gentle cleanse for your hair. Now as part of the battle of the basket series that we launched. Last week i tried for this product on my hair and in this video i'm gon na be telling you if these products are the same if they are different, if you should get both or if you should get one of them now, the koas was in the Influencer basket and the conditioner was in my basket. The conditioner went on the right side of my head, while sakura shrinks on the left side of my head, so without wasting any more time. Let me tell you what is different about these two products. If you are new here, my name is tavian. Thank you so much for joining me. I'M honored by you click and i hope you will consider staying and joining the family now as far as texture, color fragrance these products are the same. The consistency of it is also the same when they also apply the same. They they both have that cool cool sensation that you'll get from applying a product with peppermint oil or peppermint oil. Well, not as intense, but it's just as good, and i enjoyed that about these two products and when i rinsed them off, there were no noticeable differences between either side of my hair. Both sides were soft and they both felt the same. I was very disappointed considering that one of these products have silicones in them. I mean you would expect for them to give you different results right, but no, i just i couldn't i couldn't pick. I couldn't pick up anything that was different between these two products, and it is only when you turn this product to look at the ingredients list that you start noticing the differences. Now the three ingredients that you'll find in the conditioner that you will not find on the core in the course are pandemonium chloride, which is a conditioning agent that can also be used as an emulsifier and a preservative in the cosmetic formulation. Another one is a is linalool, which is some form of fragrance, but i think you'd also find this hair just under a different name, but for this for the purposes of this review, we're gon na just say it's it's a different ingredient. There is also dipropylene glycol in this formulation, which is a form of alcohol that is used as a stabilizer and to decrease the viscosity of products now a little disclaimer. I am no scientist, i am not scientist and some of these words i am going to butcher. Some of these words are very difficult for me to say, and i'm not going to kill myself trying to pronounce this word. So i am going to ask that you listen to me, whilst also reading the words that i'm gon na be listing on the screen. All the ingredients will be listed on the screen now, there's a lot of ingredients that you'll find on here that will not be in the conditioner, and most of these ingredients are emulsifiers alcohol, preservatives, stabilizers, thickness, silicones and some surfactants. I assume the silicones are there to lay your cuticle flat after it has been raised by the surfactants, so they're there to make your hair to to then leave your hair feeling soft and not cross tangles and cause single strand knots that are difficult to detangle. While the guns are not all bad for our head, they do create a protective film that allows for our hair to retain moisture for longer and that very same film can also be a barrier when you're trying to get moisture into our hair. This is very important to note for people who do not like to use shampoo or have some sort of adverse reaction to using shampoo that, if you use this, just know that it has silicones and silicones do build up and you do need to rinse off silicones. Using a shampoo, whether it's a sulfate, free or sulfate shampoo, it doesn't matter as long as it's shampoo silicones will. Some of the silicones are not water-soluble, especially the silicones in the ammo dimethicone group, the silicones and the modern mexican group. Once they deposit onto your hair, are able to create unable to prevent further deposition of silicones within the same group so so to prevent um product build up. Now i can't say the same about dimethicone, i'm not sure if they they have the same ability and i'm not sure about the micro silicones that are in this formulation now. I say this because i want you to be careful when using this conditioner and going in with your moisturizing routine. What you should know is that you're already starting your moisturization, whether it is the luck method or lco or whatever method you use to moisturize your hair you're already starting on a silicone base, because, after having used this, your hair will be coated in silicone. I also want to be careful when using this product to not go in with moisturizing product or styling products that do have silicones in them, because, whilst again seconds are not all bad, it's also not advisable that you keep layering silicone upon silicon upon silicon because they Can cause product buildup, which then in turn dries our hair and cause breakage? Another thing to note is if you're using this, it may be a little difficult for your moisturizing product or your styling products to go in and do what it is that they do and moisturize your hair, because they are now having to function over that protective seal. That was created by the silicone in this product. That is very important to note, because the silicones in this are high in the ingredient list, which also means that their concentration is high on the list. Dimethicone is within the first five and then ammo dimethicon is not further down the list. After dimethicone, our influencer said that she loved love, loves this product, but she doesn't love shampoo, so it whilst it may work for her hair because she has a beautiful head of hair. Do not attempt to do that. Do not attempt to use this product continuously without having to go in with shampoo and clarifying the silicones, because that may prove very disastrous for your hair. This is silicones and to wash your silicone, they need to use shampoo well, ideally once a week, but at least twice every month, so loving this cowash forces you to love shampoo and that i don't know our influencer considered that when she decided to take this on And keep it permanently on her um wash day basket, but that is fine now as a coaster. Someone who washes their hair with co-wash in between shampoo between shampooing, your hair, because remember um koash, does not replace shampoo in your wash routine, but as a co-washer, which should you get. I personally wouldn't want to include silicones that early on in my wash day routine. I would rather reserve the use of silicones for products that i'm going to be using later, like leave-in conditioners. Sometimes they do conditioners. Sometimes my moisturizing or styling products. Silicones do a great job of keeping the moisture in our hair. I wouldn't want silicones to be the barrier that prevent me from getting all the goodness that one is able to get from the deep conditioner so because of the silicones, i would much rather go with the conditioner. I mean they both do the same thing. They both feel the same in the hair, but with this i can also enhance and and turn into a deep, a silicone free, deep conditioner by adding some honey or some oils to it. So because of that, i would much rather just get this, and i would rather you got this then this this would also do a good job of cleansing, your hair, to which you should then on the weekend, go in with your shampoo. I hope you found this video very informative and useful to you. Thank you so much for joining me and have a good day. Everybody
