Hey loves: welcome back to my channel, so can you believe in my entire time on YouTube? I have not shown you my natural hair, straightening routine tut-tut-tut. Well, today, I'm gon na be showing you how I go from this gorgeous shrunken afro to silky smooth straightened natural hair. So the first step of my straightening routine is the pre-poo. I love to pre-poo my hair, even when I'm not straightening it, because it just helps to soften my hair, reduces tangles and helps to reduce the potential stripping effects of shampoo. The product I'm using to pre-poo is one. I'Ve never tried before it's a pre-poo oil Alexia by a brand called Wendel and moody, and my first impressions guys are super positive, because my hair feels butter soft and I'm able to easily finger detangle, as you guys can see me doing it here. So once I finish finger detangling, I remove any shed hair from this section, I'm working on and then I will twist the section clip it up and repeat the same steps on every other section. Once I'm done with every section I throw on my shower cap for I'd, say around about 20 minutes to let the pre-poo sits and work its magic and then it's on to washing to wash my hair, I'm using another product. I'Ve never tried by sheer moisture the curl and shine shampoo. Before I apply this to my hair, I like to wet my hair first and depending on which pre-poo I've used rinse the pre-poo out, and then I apply the shampoo to my finger pads and massage the shampoo into my scalp and yeah. Basically, a wash from my hair after I've rinsed the shampoo out of this section, I'm working on I reach for the Apogee two-minute keratin Reconstructor, which I always use to help prep my hair for straightening. This makes my hair stronger and it will also help my hair to better withstand the I'm gon na use on it. And I pretty much repeat the shampoo followed by the Reconstructor treatment step on each of my four sections. Once every section has had the Reconstructor treatment on it for at least two minutes, I rinse it out and then go on to apply a moisturizing conditioner to my hair and the reason I do this is because first of all, mousse Chur is important, but also because The effigy treatment can make my hair feel quite strong, which means it's working, but also a little bit hard, so a moisturizing conditioner just helps to soften it up. So I apply the conditioner I twist each section of my hair and then I chuck on my shower cap, followed by my favorite conditioning heat capped by hair therapy, and I leave this on for 30 minutes. 30 minutes later. My hair is soft, and this is when I do my detangling next. It is time to blow-dry. So again, I'm just doing everything in four sections. I take this section of hair blot out any excess water from it before then reaching for the Shia moisture blow dry cream and then the Sun came out guys sorry about the lighting, but yes, as for the blow-dry cream, it was my first time using this. This doubles up as a heat, protectant and I've got to say I loved the way, this stuff smelled and it also made my hair feel really really soft, and then I also went in with one pump of the Moroccan oil treatment for added shine and protection. The next steps are pretty straightforward. I take a smaller section of the section that I'm working on clip the rest up, use my detangling brush to get rid of any tangles and then I reach for the best blow-dryer. I have ever used the Conair infinity Pro and I blow dry on the coal setting and the low heat setting. Okay. So now that my entire head of hair has been blow-dried, it is time to get to straightening, I'm working in sections. As usual, I've taken a small section of one of the sections, I'm working on i've detangled the small section with a tail comb and I'm going to use the same tail comb as part of the chase method to straighten my hair as well as give my hair A trim after this section has been straightened so loves. That is me done. My hair is straight. It is smooth and silky, as I'm sure you can tell. I don't have the thickest of hair types, but this is what I'm working with and I love it. And finally, of course, my current lengths here are some quick length check clips. I hope you guys have enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching and, of course, if you have absolutely any questions about my routine or this video do, let me know in the comment section I'll do my best to respond, but till next time remain blessed. Bye,
