I Finally Tried Curldaze On My 4C Hair! | Full Demo & Review | Curldaze Hair Care

Hi guys it's aisha g here and welcome back to my channel if you're new here go ahead and click that subscribe button, so you don't miss out any more of my videos and, if you're, a returning subscriber welcome back so by the title you guys are already Know we're going to be reviewing curl days and also doing a demo. It'S been a long time coming. I believe this line released like a month ago, um. It is by a content creator here on youtube by the name of curl days, aka robin now, i'm not a subscriber of robin. Until now. I did not know about her before at all until i started to hear wonderful things about her curl days, products that she just released, so she released three products in the product line. I believe all of them are stylers. I only, however, picked up two of them, because those are only two dollars available on the website. So what i picked up is the curl days ultra moisture cream with cocoon oil. It'S a moisturizing cream for ultra smooth soft hair, sulfate protein and silicone free and the next one i got is the curl days glossy shine gel with cocoon oil as well for shiny, defined, twist out sprayed outs swash. It goes, rod, sets and edges. It'S also sulfate pro brain silicone and alcohol free as well. Now, the only product from the line that i was not able to get because it was sold out was the curl days, creamy curl styler. It also has cocoon oil in it as well. It'S supposed to be great for braid outs and twist outs as far as ingredients go. I do want to say that i realized that it does have glycerin in here um. So if you are a natural that does not like glycerin just be aware of that um other than that there are a lot of good things in these products, including um vitamins, a and c and e um. I really like that she incorporated cocoon oil um. It'S also supposed to really good for overall hair growth shine and all that good stuff. So for the ultra moisture cream, i thought this product was very interesting because it looks to be that can be a leave-in conditioner or it can be just a regular cream um that you're putting on your hair to just style it. So the ultra part is the one that got me for my style for today. I'M just going to use this as my cream, not necessarily a leave-in, because i already have a leave-in. So let's go ahead and get started, i'm going to go ahead and show you guys step-by-step everything that i did when using these products and then at the end i'll show you guys my results. Let you know how i feel so. I went ahead and started off with freshly washed and conditioned hair. I also did a deep leave-in treatment. I use just a leave-in conditioner one of my favorite ones, and i left that in my hair overnight. So after that, i put my hair in four big old twists, so that's what you're seeing me you know kind of reveal now, i'm taking my twists down one by one, i'm gon na go ahead and start with the ultra moisture cream. I noticed that this cream was extremely extremely just light, but then also not too light it's kind of in between a really heavy cream and something that is more watery, which i really like. I like that it wasn't too heavy on my hair uh as applying it. I noticed that it was really good with detangling, so if i wanted to tangle my hair as while i'm applying this, it was really good for that as well. Now the number one thing that stood out to me about both of these products is that it reminds me like this, the smell of it. I don't know if it's the cocoon oil, but it really reminds me of the shea moisture curling souffle - is that i think that's what it's called hold on. Let me look it up. It'S the shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie. But again i don't know if it's just like the cocoon oil or some other ingredient that maybe is kind of similar, but but i just thought that i just should mention that for some of you out there, if you don't like that smell, i love the smell. I think it smells amazing, so my hair is low porosity, so anything as far as a cream, that's ultra anything um, i like it, so i have no problem with putting more of a heavier cream in this case. This cream, like i said it's more so in the middle now, the method i use on my hair is the lco method, which is the leave-in, then followed by your cream of choice and then followed by an oil to seal everything in for low porosity hair. I believe that the lco method is better to use, so after applying the cream, i go ahead with the gel now girl. Let me tell you about this gel and how i feel so. The glossy shine gel yeah this holds up to its name, there's a reason why it's the glossy shine gel, not just the shine gel, but the glossy shine gel uh. This girl right here had my twist after i was done with them. Looking so just bam like glowy shiny glossy, just everything like it's really, it's really standoutish like you can really see the shine like that's the first thing that pops out um when i was applying this to my hair, which made me even more excited to twist my Hair, because that is the style i chose to do, which just is a quick twist out also, i noticed that - and this may be because it does have glycerin in it, but it was a bit sticky, but also i mean if it's not sticky, then i necessarily Don'T want to use it, i really like gels that do have some sort of a sticky element to it. So i wasn't mad at that. My hair didn't feel stiff when applying the gel and also my curls was definitely popping with the definition and i didn't even start twisting my hair yet so so as applying. I definitely noticed the details, the the the definition that was coming out in my kings, and you know my coils as i was applying the gel now the gel it is said to give you the most defined, shiny and moisturized styles ever with no flaking um. So i'm really excited to see what my results look like here: okay and overall, by the way i had no problems with using both of those two products together um they worked very well together. My hair felt really good applying each of them. So that's a really good sign for me, so just in case i talked way too quickly which i'm bound to do i'ma. Let you guys watch the rest of the tutorial of what i did. Then i'm gon na come back and reveal what my hair looks like and the results, and all of that thank you. So i went ahead and i let the twist sit in my hair for about two days. So what you're seeing right now is me taking out my twist after a two days time total um. I just did two days honestly because i wasn't going anywhere so i had no plans. You know a girl had no plans so taking them out y'all like immediately. I was like yup this twist out is going to be bomb because my hair was super soft and also shiny and defined. Okay, like really defined like sometimes after two days, i lose the definition a little bit because my hair tends to get frizzy, especially at my roots um, but for this for the curl days, products no like frizz, wear like frizz, wasn't my issue at all um. If anything, i really enjoyed the definition um and also the shine. Those are two things i really appreciated with using these products, so i don't know where this is going to be in the video, probably like you guys can be watching me or watching me just reveal my results, but overall i want to give my final thoughts before I close out this video since my hair is low porosity. You guys already know um these products work great for me um. I normally don't use gels too much. I don't do wash and goes at all. So it's the braid outs, the bantu knots, the twist outs, the flat twist out for me. Okay and these products are there for me um, especially during the summer time. That'S when the gel normally comes into play for me, i'm using a lot of gels and custards. So yeah i'm going to be using this as long as it's still hot, outside i'm using the gel um, also the ultra moisture cream. I really do see myself using this a lot, especially during the winter time um, when the air is super super cold and my hair gets dry, really fast, um curl days bay b. You did your thing. I honestly i tried to figure out something i did not like, but the overall experience of your products from the smell from how they feel on my hair, to how my hair feels afterwards. It'S just you check all my boxes. You check all of my boxes literally. I really enjoyed both products. I'M really sad. I didn't get the. I think what was it? The the curl um, the other curl cream on your website. I'M really sad that sold out so when it's not sold out, i'm gon na go ahead and buy that um, but to see a youtuber content creator do her thing like this wow um, also not to mention you're a black woman content creator: okay girl.
