How To Get Big Pageant Hair : Hair Care & Styling

Hi, I'm Michele Dietrich coming to you from pretty snow studio in New York City today. Our beauty topic is big, pageant hair. So for this look you will need a lot of hairspray a fine-tooth comb for teasing, as well as large, rollers and Clips. So I like to alternate in my curls, I'm just starting at the crown, because that's the most important section of your head they're going to get the most volume from so I put one curler in the very very, very top and I'm going to tease the one Right underneath it and then we'll alternate so TT CCS, only the root spray rap go big you're going pageant, got a go, pageant style, that's big and sprayed. I like to hold it at the root, give it another spray and then go on to the section right. Underneath it, which is going to be a regular velcro roller, that we're not going to tease because these are going to the purple ones, will lay a top of the teased ones to cover the teasing. So we want to alternate - and it's best to do this with your hair when it's like a little bit damp, but not totally wet or dry, and so then the next set, the next section repeat: the tease, cccccc, seize and spray and pin. And now I'm going to show you the result, which will give you this kind of volume when you're done, which is very pageant, volume, big and then you can add more teasing and more spray. So now we've done a quick version of pageant hair with lovely Miss Alabama Nicole. So I'm just going to show you the final piece that I started with. Take it out, give it another little tease, get that crown really working. Oh now that screams in this America to me whoa now this is a short version. You can do any variation of this if you're truly doing pageant hair, though you take your time, leave your curlers in for long enough, while you're getting ready entirely whitening your teeth. Vaseline II say fake tanning everything and then take them out and add lots more hairspray, probably her pieces and whatnot.
