Hello, everyone. I have always received a lot of questions regarding my hair, whether I had jet black hair, blue hair or red hair, as I have now, but today I'm going to discuss and share with you my must-have treatments, shampoos conditioners as well as styling products. For my hair and as many of you know, I bleached my hair or lightened it as the new term is to get to this really vibrant red, and I do have my hair up, because it is my third hair day today and I just wanted to share With you, the very best hair products that I have discovered over the years of experimenting with the best in the hair biz - and I actually do have quite a few drugstore products to share with you as well and I'll share those at the end. But first I'm going to talk to you about my favorite new discovery and that is the Moroccan oil intense hydrating mask. This has truly changed the texture of my hair, especially after bleaching it. I didn't realize that, even though my hair was pretty strong to begin with, that, bleaching would damage my hair so much so because my hair is more prone to breaking and dryness. If intense hydrating mask has been a lifesaver, I absolutely love the rich nourishing texture. It actually looks like a custard and I just love the smell. The amount of product in this little tub is quite generous and it's not extra expensive. It is a luxury product, but it's not going to break the bank the way Kerastase philippi or Shimura. Well. So I highly highly recommend this product, so even though this product is a mask most of the time, I do use it as a conditioner, just because I'm short on time, however, when I'm using a traditional conditioner, I like to reach for the philippi white, truffle, nourishing And conditioning cream, this one is specifically for color, chemically processed dry damaged, porous hair, which is exactly what I have, and my sister introduced me to this, because she also has a bleached blonde ombre. And I think that this is truly one of the best conditioners on the market. The only thing is that this has a really really hefty price tag of 75 dollars, so you can so this is about. I think I paid $ 35 at Planet Beauty believe this one I paid $ 75 for its basement cake. So, even though this is quite expensive, they're both really great treatments, it just depends on your budget and your hair type. Now, speaking of shrim aura, my favorite line from Shamwari is the new color lustre. So a lot of times. I would receive comments from my viewers and subscribers who told me that they tried shamora, but they don't really like the fragrances of the products. Now the color luster is amazing because it smells like roses and it's not too overwhelming. So the scent is nice and light, and I love the color in lustre, because this sulfate free shampoo is actually very very foamy. So I love that it doesn't dry out my hair now. I also love the brilliant glaze. This is the thermo milk, and I run this through the ends of my hair after conditioner or a mask, and then I blow-dry my hair. So I highly recommend these two and whenever I wear this one, even Michelle Phan when she saw me and she gave me a hug, she was asking what perfume I was wearing, but I wasn't wearing perfume. It was just this to wrap up the basic haircare section. I have some more sheer more on Moroccan oil. This is the brand new cleansing oil from Shu Mara. This is the moisture balancing cleanser for dry, scalp and hair. Now that I do not wash my hair more than two or three times a week, I actually do find that my scalp has become more and more sensitive and more dry. So sometimes I do suffer from a little bit of flakiness, depending on the air conditioning the outdoor environment and just my hair, sometimes a little bit more fickle than other times, and then I reach for the Shamwari. Now this is not meant for color-treated hair, but sometimes I use it as a clarifying treatment. I'Ve tried all variations of the shumar cleansing, oil, shampoos and they're all really really wonderful products. They are expensive, but I highly recommend them and of course we can't forget Moroccan oil. I find that Moroccan oil has made such a huge difference in my everyday routine for my hair and I absolutely love the moisture, repair, shampoo and conditioner. Now, most of the time I used the shampoo a little goes, a long way it foams up just as well as the shamora. The lather is rich, it's silky, but it doesn't weigh my hair down and the conditioner is really nice as well. Now, for my last two hair treatments, first I'll start with a Kerastase. This is the newly package cement thermic. This is the resurfacing reinforcing milk and it used to be in a shorter package with more dark green. But I absolutely love this particular line because it helps with the brittle, damaged hair and sometimes all switch it up between the color luster and this cement thermic. This one has more of a piney smell, so it's very refreshing, whereas the shamora has more of that feminine rosy scent. So it just really depends on what you're looking for and if you find that this doubles up as he protected as well as a split end. Sealer, so I love this product very much and I have used this for years. Next up we have the keels damaged, repairing and rehydrating leave-in treatment. This has Moringa tree oil and hydrating hyaluronic acid, and I absolutely love this undamaged very dry hair. So I recently started using heels body and hair products and I absolutely love them. I think there's some of the most affordable but effective products on the market. So my sister introduced me to their shampoo and Michelle actually told me about the damage, repairing shoes as this leave-in I think, and it really works. It has a really really subtle fragrance. So if you're not into very strong but beautiful fragrances like the Kerr, stuff and shumar products, I highly recommend you try the heels. It really does help to reduce the look of my split ends and it makes my hair look less dry and frizzy. And finally, we have the styling products. Now I'm just going to talk to you about a lot of the sprays and styling products that I use to make my hair look: fuller, okay, so first we'll start with the iron coat Dallas thickening spray. I actually discovered this through a random hair artist that I met. She does a lot of editorial work and she loves our comb and she told me that the thickening spray is one of the few that actually works without weighing down the hair, because I have coarse hair, but it's really really fine at the top. I find that a lot of thickening sprays actually make my hair look greasy oily and they don't really actually thicken my hair, but this one is super lightweight. I just spritz it into the crown, and it really does give me volume. Another re-encode product that I find is a true must-have, especially if you have lots of baby hair, as I do. Is the Arco conformist hair paste. So if you have baby hairs or if you just like a or hairstyle, then I highly recommend this paste for styling, because it really just helped tame all flyaways frizziness and it doesn't make your hair look greasy or it doesn't make your hair look over style, which Is another thing that I find with a lot of pastes: they tend to be a little too glossy, so this one smells really really nice. It has a hint of citrus, but it's not overwhelming it's not too strong of lemon or lime. So I love this product. Now it's time for my favorite section, because I am addicted to hairspray and the reason I say that is because I hate most hair sprays. They smell awful. They leave a mess in your bathroom, but there are four hair sprays that I really really love. I know it sounds crazy to have four but Bed Head. Hardhead is my favorite all-around, versatile hairspray. You can use this for short hair, long, hair, textured hair. You can use it to tease and it's not too sticky. It smells amazing. It doesn't smell like a traditional hairspray that smells like you know, Loreal Elnett, which i just cannot stand, and then we have the Amika touchable hairspray. So this is one of my favorite Amica products. I love how feminine the packaging is and the products actually worked really. Well, so this one does smell a little bit more sweet. The Bennett, I think, is pretty tolerable universally, but the Amika is a really nice product. If you don't mind sweet fragrances plus the touchable hairspray really is touchable. It has that light. Soft texture that Loreal Elnett gives you without having to deal with the really terrible smell and taste. If you get it in your mouth, my other Q, favorite go-to, hair sprays, are by Moroccan oil, and/or BAE, I really love or BAE. I have the opéra beach. The wave and shine spray - and I also have the dry texturising spray. I love both, but I love this one for updos and I just think it'd be like a textured, bun or really soft braided updo. This is a great product because it adds body and volume and texture to your hair without making it feel really sticky. So this works even on the most pin straight virgin hair. So I highly recommend this product and again or Bey, also smells really good. Last but not least, we have the Moroccan oil luminous hairspray. This is a medium finish hold hairspray and I really enjoyed this one because again it doesn't smell funky and it actually works. So this one is most similar to the Amika touchable hairspray, but I think this one is best when you have curled hair, so this is able to give me longer lasting curls. So I highly recommend Moroccan oil products in general. Everything that I used and talked about in this video is really truly worth the price out of all the beauty products that I use. I go through hair products the fastest, because I'm really dedicated to my hair, even throughout all the color treatments and the damage, I'm able to keep it looking, lustrous and vibrant without looking like a rat's nest. So these are the products that really make a huge difference, because I am all about low maintenance with great products now for my hair brushes before we get into the drugstore favorites. First and foremost, I have my Mason Pearson hair brush. This is the nylon and bristle mix, and I love this brush so much you can use it to brush your hair out. You can use it to tease, it is just the most versatile hair brush in the world and if you buy one and you take good care of it, it will last you 10 years or more. So this was definitely worth the investment for me and I do think that I would invest in the full boar and then in a year or two depending on the condition of my hair. But I think this is perfect for getting tangles out and again you can use it to tease your hair without too much damage. So I highly highly highly recommend you get this because it truly has changed my hair and, most importantly, it actually does give my hair a lot more shine. It'S so much more manageable. The longer I use this hairbrush the more. I truly believe in the beauty and the quality of Mason Pearson hair brushes. I realize that, if a very expensive investment to making your hair, but if you have damaged hair, color treated hair or in general, you just want better looking here, you have to start with Mason Pearson now for a really affordable brush. This is the Tangle Teezer and it is truly one of the best brushes in the world. It'S only 12 bucks. I got mine at spacing K and it truly has changed how I feel about my hair when it's wet. So normally I don't brush my hair whatsoever until it's completely dry, but now I can actually brush my hair distribute products like my heat protectant throughout my hair before blow-drying them, and I don't have to worry that my hair is going to get tangled snagged and damaged In the process, so I love this tangle teezer. I recommend it to everybody. Now, I'm actually willing to give my black one to my sister, because she needs lon and I just think that it's a fabulous $ 12 product. This is the best budget Beauty buy that you can make it's a really good investment to wrap up this. Incredibly long video I have my budget buys I've tried lots of budget hair products from Ulta. I'Ve tried, kenra, redkin, L'Oreal vino. I'Ve tried pretty much all the drugstore brands for hair at one point or another. In my life in college, I use bio silk matrix. I'Ve tried just about everything, but I think that the very best drugstore product is the macadamia professional product because it's affordable and it smells nice and the textures great plus it's good for color safe care. The longer I work in the beauty industry, the harder it is to run into someone who's, never color treated or color processed their hair. So that's why I think finding a color, safe product, that's affordable is one of my priorities and I finally achieved that goal. When I tried these macadamia products, they are really creamy and they feel nice on the hair, they're nourishing for the scalp, but don't weigh the hair down. So if you have long hair, these are especially nice for you and for the price. You really can't top these products. I'Ve tried a lot of mid-range prestige brands and I still think that the macadamia is truly one of the best products plus they come in different formulas for different hair types. So I have the medium course and it really does make a huge difference and when I travel, I don't mind taking these and I do find that they really do strengthen repair and mend my hair. So I highly highly recommend you give these a try. Now my must-haves were featured at the very beginning, but I hi there and everything that I featured in this video again. Please do look into shrio more on Kerastase and Moroccan oil, because it's due to their power player products that I'm able to maintain the health and state of my hair with how completely damaging it it's again all due to the products. I really don't do much to it. It'S all just good hair care, so thanks so much for tuning in as always and I'll see you soon bye. You

tracy: What timing! I'm going blonde in a month and was worried about what products I should get. Thank you, Rae! You look lovely in this video. ^__^

Romina Elorrieta: Hello Rae!! Absolutely amazing video, really considering your recommendations. I've been trying Kiehl's Damage Repair Leave-In and I really like the scent, it is so good!!. I also have been using the whole Moroccanoil lineup you've showcased and I hear you! It is just amazing. Let me recommend you the Intense Hydration Styling Cream which also works wonders for detangling hair and also doubles up as a heat protectant. Wish you the best and keep up the great work!! xxx

Jocelyn: Your hair is extremely cute! can you do a tutorial on it? I also love your shirt this video was awesome thanks girly!

Niche4Sure: Unite and Phillip b. Both have a great volumizing hair spray. That you may love!

suzanne su: I am a huge fan, I really love your videos and really value your input. I have really fine thin asian hair, and even though i'm only 22 i'm scared of balding because I feel like I get a lot of fallout due to stress. My hair is extremely oily at the roots and dry at the ends. Which of the shampoos and conditioners do you think would work the best for me? Also do you think a  Mason Pearson Handy Mix Brush would help control the fall out? please help!

Sarah M: I have needed a video like this for so long. Can't wait to try out some of the recommendations! Bless you.

Amyleebrant: Have you tried the macadamia oil leave in treatment? The one in the brown and green packaging. How does that compare? X

toothpickfaerie: Love the video <3 but i was wondering what is the brand of the spray and paste? Sounded like you said "r & co". Wondering why they weren't linked! Also, do you have any dry shampoo faves? Thanks!

Tida P: Loved this video! You're so gorgeous!

Bernadette Rivero: Everyone talks about the Mason Pearson brushes but my best friend has one and every time I use it my hair just gets extremely frizzy. I have thicker straight Asian hair and that brush does nothing for me. It can't de tangle my hair either. So many people rave about it, but it didn't work out for me.... Just another perspective.
