Hi guys so today is more of like a talkie-talkie video and do you whisper fairy lights. I miss the ferry ride too, but let's get down to business. So I got my first video request and I was super thrilled and I actually did want to film this video, but I was keeping it for later, but I thought you know the party season is coming and you want your hair to look it's best. So I thought I would share with you the little things that I do to maintain my hair and like the kind of like the ground rules of having good hair days all the time. So if you want to know what things where the products are used for my hair and what what do I do with my hair to make it look the way it does then keep watching. So I'm going to start by talking about my hair. I have really long thick and wavy hair um, it's even actually speaking. I actually blow dry my hair, so it kind of looks straight from the front and then it's got like usual waves. But if I do leave it without any blow time, then it's like curly all over um. My problem areas with my hair is that I have a I have really dry ends and which is prone to a lot of split ends. That'S why growing it long was a real. It was kind of a challenge for me because the end is to always look dead, so my first tip for you guys, would need to know what kind of hair you have and what are your problems. So if you have it on really thin hair or you have really big voluminous curly hair like finer, what your hair type is then find out what your hair problems are. Do you have hair fall? You have split ends. Do you have a really dry? Scalp is a dandruff and then battle those problems accordingly. So, for instance, I have really dry ends, so I have to go like. I have to make sure that my ends are always moisturized and for that I use the dark elixir oil and I use this every day. I know for some people is going to be kind of weird to put oil in their hair everyday. It'S something that you must have done when you were in school, but seriously speaking initially, you like I used to run away from oil when I was young for I'm pretty sure. Even if you ask my mom, she tell you that I used to run away from it, but, quite frankly, especially, I feel for Indian hair. You GE wheat oil. You know you can go and you can buy like a serum if you feel that suits you better, but for my hair Dove elixir buildi best, I only concentrated on the ends after I wash my hair once you have found out what your hair divers like. I know my hair is curly and wavy. You should try and follow tips for your hair, like I spent a husband are said if you actually go through my physical, like my laptop history, you're going to see things like heatless, hair, curling methods and how to do the messy bun and how how to maintain Curly hair: these are the three things that are most searched in my history. Like seriously so the moment, you'll know what kind of hair you have. You should try and get into like no in-depth research about how to maintain your hair. So I don't know about like straight hair or like just like. You know normal, like a mixed. We write your hair, but then because my hair is curly or wavy, I don't hold it. I just comb it once in a day and while bill and that's at night before I go to sleep and in the morning when I'm getting go to college, go wherever I'll, just finger comb, my hair and kind of twist it to make the curls once again. Combing curly hair makes it more crazy than it is so. If you have really curly hair, I would suggest do not comb your hair finger, comb it and then set it like. You know by curling wood, those little sections here and there, though, secondly limit the number of times you wash your hair, like I wash my hair only twice in a week, you know, and that is once on Sunday and once on Wednesday, so yeah I'm gon na, Be washing my hair today, it's when is there so are, and limiting your washes also means using less shampoo, because shampooing thing that really drives your scalp and your scalp is that basically it determines how healthy your hair is so like, for instance, like on their on Bengis days I try to limit the amount of shampoo I use. I try to just you know, use it once on my scalp really nicely massage it in and wash it off, and then I use a conditioner. So I try to keep the shampoo less and on Sundays I have a bigger hair ritual and always like, maybe Saturday night or something I'll, massage, my head with, like some nice oil and tie it up like in a pillow like in French braid and keep at All you know away from my face, or in case I have like I read up some new hair masks online and I'll. Try that out a quartic. It depends on what my hair is feeling like a last week when I was feeling really rough. So I I went in, I bought um this oil, it's actually it's particle. I was looking for a normal, coconut oil, but then I couldn't find it so. Instead, I bought this amaz felicitations stuff in it and I really like I concentrate it on my scalp and my hands that all the way through combing it out and then I tied in a really tight braid and go to sleep. And then I wake up in the morning and then I wash it off um a lot of people, I'm pretty sure a lot of people do that, though overnight oiling thing, but even after I do overnight oiling - and I wash my hair after my hair is clean. I use the Dove elixir on my ends, because I need to make sure that my answer always moisture now for this shampoo, so um I am. I don't really know about a particular about what shampoo I use, but I do make sure that the shampoo is like it battles up the particular problem I'm having so during the winkers. My hair gets really dry, so I buy shampoos. That kind of, oh, that, don't make my hair dry. There are more moisturizing and nourishing in nature, while during the summer, because my scalp good, and because my hair is so thick and my scalp can absolutely not bleed. So during summer I buy much lighter shampoos that are cleansing shampoos that are or transparent. Actually speaking, so, if you have a lot of buildup on your scalp, I would suggest that you should use a transparent or like a translucent shampoo, for example this one. So this one is by kadhi or it's like a very all-natural kind of company and is the first time I'm drying one of their shampoos. So this is like a normal cleansing shampoo, and I actually - and this has absolutely no scent - and I like to have some kind of like a nice smelling shampoo in my hair, so I also use the Sun silk radiant shine. This is one shampoo that I have been loving for the winters. It has actually made my hair's only soft and smooth and shiny, so you guys should give this one a try and for my conditioner it changes according to the season. So for the winters I use something: that's really. We, like it heavy moisturizing, while in the summer use something that's kind of lighter so right now, because it's venca, I am using the Dove Hair Therapy. I am using it in dryness care, because that is what I need, and I really concentrate this on my ends. He is like there will be this one time in a month where my ends will absolutely feel really dry and dead. Then what I do is after I, while my hair, I use a little bit of the conditioner and I put it in my hair. So that is no washing you, you use an oil and then you use a conditioner on your ends, not on your scalp. On your ends and tie it up in a braid and then just sleep over it, this also, I feel, really helps and making my hair much softer and shinier, and the fourth rule that I actually really really try like very hard to follow is using minimal heat On my hair - and I feel that this is one of the major problems happy face because you like personally, I love the national natural texture of my hair. I love having curly hair. I love it like it actually try to make my hair more curlier than it is, but I know a lot of people who are not happy with the way their hair naturally is, and then they will opt for straightening their hair or you know, they'll opt for, Like colonnades and putting it through a lot of heat, so my advice is to try and minimize the heat as much as possible, especially straighteners are the most damaging because your hair is between two potheads. So, like it's getting damaged from both sides, curling is still not as damaging because you are wrapping your hair, worn and hair trying. If you use on like a minimum sheet like I use it on the lowest heat setting, so that is that's not as damaging it. As it is damaging, but not as bad as a straightener, so I would suggest trying out to use a straightener so often, and that is also one of the reasons why I don't have a straightener is because I feel the moment you have a straightener. It'S like it's, like you have to straighten your hair. You know it's like it's like an addiction and actually rent a 10. It an addiction is just that, oh my god. Okay, let me just stayed in this pipe section of my hair and then, by the end, a video straighten all of your hair. I know I've been there that happens to me, so try really hard to limit the amount of heat you use on your hair and you will notice that your hair does become much healthier. But if your hair is really damaged and say, like you know, you feel like. Oh, my god, this is like this is not working. I suggest go, get a nice haircut and let your hair grow out. You know I did that. I got back. I had long hair and then it was like it really just wasn't working, it was looking really limp and it was just falling. You know like it just it had no body. So I went and I got a nice haircut and then, while it grew out and made sure that I voice tries do it and I boiled it regularly and you know I I use minimal heat, no straighteners. None of that and yeah, like I would say, I'm pretty happy with the hair - would be the way my hair is right now another tip is getting a haircut that suits your hair type. A lot of people get haircuts based on you know what suits your face. You know highlighting your features and no one really thinks about the fact that maybe the haircut is not going to suit your hair type, for example like I have always wanted really short bangs, and I love it when they secure all over your eye and then it's Like all the way up short bag - it's not straight across, but it's there - I've always loved that kind of hairstyle. But I can't like on my hair, it's going to be near to impossible. You know, because I have curly hair. I have frizzy hair in the front. So getting on a head like getting bangs and a dad shot, or actually it's actually going to be more time like time commuting for me, because I'm gon na have to sit and stay with my hair everyday. So when you're going for a haircut, don't just look at whether the haircut is going to suit your face, but also make sure that it's foods, your type of hair, for example, um. I have made so many errors with hairstyles and when I go through my older photos, actually I'm like, oh my god, how what made me think that even looks good. So now I stick to normal long layers with a long battle with long shot like a long side fringe and that's about it. I'M like I really don't like Bella melting with my hair anymore, because, as of now, I really like the way it looks and it's finally reached a length that I've been dreaming off. You know, of course I can't have totally like happens in hair, but yeah. I can be half way there. You know up wave, so those are my tips for maintaining your hair and genetics does have a lot to play with you know your hair type and yeah like I have really thick hair, because it's like almost all the women in my family have really thick in Long nice, curly hair, you know, but you can do these small things. You know to just to maintain your health and make it healthier and make sure that it's at its best and remember to treat your hair with respect. Don'T put it through all that heat and you know then expectance gon na always look its best. Okay, love your hair, the way it is even if it's curly, or it's straight or whatever it may be.
