Hi gorgeous Sabrina here today's video topic is all about to be hair, been getting a lot of questions on it. So in today's video I'm going to show you an updated haircare routine as well as answer some of your most popular questions, about color, cut, etc, etc, etc, and, if you're interested in anything that I mentioned in today's video, I love everything listed for you down below. In the description box, first things first we'll talk about hair color. Now two months ago I did not dye my hair, that was my natural hair color and it's considered to be a strawberry blonde, but this is a hair dye that I have been using ever since. I did the Lucille Ball tutorial. This is Clairol's number B 14 W and you can pick it up at Sally's Beauty Supply. That is the only place that I know of to get it. It is a semi-permanent color, so it doesn't last as long as a permanent would I do this about every four weeks. What I like about this particular one is that it doesn't have any ammonia peroxide anything harsh in it. That'S going to hurt you over the long term and I just love the color. If I can find a permanent shade that is this color, I will absolutely be using that next, but so far I just love this color. I also have a lot of questions. If I have to make the red in your hair, it lasts longer, because red, as you know, is one of the most difficult shades to wear long term because it fades so quickly. There is a red shampoo that you can get at Sally Beauty, Supply relatively inexpensive, and it has a little bit of dye in the formula I think and when you wash your hair with it like normal, it does add more that red red tint back in so It helps the red not to fade as quickly now. As far as the cut goes. When I go into the salon, I ask for long layers with my shortest layer, usually being at my chin. So my bangs are this length and everything else cap escapes down from there into that waterfall effect and, in my opinion, layers are the best source for getting body movement and volume in your hair. I was told by one hair stylist that I had several years ago that if I didn't have layers, then my hair would just look really heavy down here at the bottom and it just what have any movement to it. So, if you're, looking for a way to freshen up, your hair layers are the way to go now as far as shampoos and conditioners, they don't really stick with just one line. I find myself using all different kinds of lines because I found out that my hair tends to adapt to things way too quickly, and then it looks flat. So, the more that I changed, my shampoo and conditioner up the more lively my hair looks so, if you're having trouble with flat hair, highly recommend switching up your shampoo and conditioner, my most favorite lines are from biologic, which you can find at Sally Beauty, Supply soif. Also makes a really great line really inexpensive and the living proof line is also one of my most favorite shampoo and conditioning lines. I also use an apple cider, vinegar rinse, on my hair, every one to two weeks, depending on how much product I've been using, and this acts like a clarifying shampoo. But it's a lot more safe and gentle than using a clarifying shampoo and the way that this works is. It takes the excess product build-up that you may have on your scalp from applying too many products removes. It completely restores the pH balance and your scalp, leaving it much more healthy, and this just makes your hair look a lot more fluffy. Afterwards, too. It also makes my hair very soft shiny, much more manageable. I noticed a tremendous difference when I do this and the way that I do this is I put my head over the tub dump my head in the apple cider vinegar, rub it into the scalp, let it sit in a towel for at least 30 minutes and Then I go in and shampoo and condition like normal and, if you're worried about the smell, because it does have a rather strong smell, the smell will be gone completely by the time your hair dries now. My hair is naturally curly and, if you're interested in seeing how I get my curly hair style, I will have that video linked for you below, but this video is more about how I blow dry and get it to look like this. So when I am blow-drying, I used the Conair infinity spin brush Pro. This is my most favorite hair tool. Ever I love this thing. It is a spinning brush and a blow dryer in one saves your arms you're not having to do a whole lot of crazy configurations to get your hair dried. It is the most amazing tool ever it leaves the hair very smooth, sleek, no frizziness whatsoever. It is ten times better than using a regular brush with a blow-dryer, and if I'm wanting to wear my hair straight that day, I'll just take a flat iron and straighten the strands around my face, because those are typically the ones that get to be those curly. Q'S, all over the place, and after blow-drying I literally bathe in living proofs humidity shield of spray. This is not a hair spray. It'S just a spray. You spray on your hair to protect it from the humidity. It is the only product I have tried that will keep my hair in place here in the Florida humidity and does not create frizz ease everywhere. I love this stuff and when I curl my hair to look like this, like you've, been seeing a lot of my recent videos, I used the Sapphire 8 in one curling wand. Oh, this is from irresistible me. I did make a video about this a little while ago. I love this wand. It has eight barrel attachments that come with it, so you actually get eight different hairstyles with one tool. In this example, I'm showing here I'm using the 32 millimeter barrel with the wand - and this is one of my most favorite barrels, because it creates those big waves and adds a lot of volume into the hair. The heat setting that I use with this wand is typically 410 degrees. Fahrenheit heats up extremely fast, there's no waiting around for it, and I typically leave the wand on each strand of hair for around 5 to 10 seconds. So it depends on how thick or how thin the piece of hair is that I'm putting onto the wand the thinner the piece of hair generally is less time the thicker the piece a little bit more time and after I have my whole head curled. I will let the curls cool down completely, so there is no heat left in them whatsoever and then brush shooting with my fingers. You can also use a brush if you want more waves, but I typically use my fingers to style the curls together and get the desired. Look that I'm after and I generally don't use hairspray, because I don't like how it feels on my hair. But what I do use hairspray my most favorite, one that I have found is from big sexy hair. It'S their spray play harder and I usually get this from TJ, Maxx or Marshalls for relatively cheap, don't go to Ulta because it is so overpriced. There can't think of any other popular questions about the hair. If there's a question that I did the answer for you today that you would like to know, you were always welcome to ask and I'll do my very best to get back to you with an answer on it. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you found this helpful today I'll see you next time.

GirlyTipsEtc: Your hair is looking super gorgeous! Love it natural or in the amped up red! Thanks for the apple cider vinegar reminder, I keep forgetting about this! You mentioned long ago. With my scalp condition I should be doing this from time to time to keep that scalp flake free! Love that anti-humidity spray, looks genius! I didn't even know that existed! I avoid hair sprays as much as I can due to my sensitive scalp but that humidity spray, I may need to look into! Its been very humid in Socal lately, I mean really bad! I also didn't know Sally's carried shampoo and conditioner with color in them! Sometimes those are hard to find! Will check it out! I recently dyed my hair cola brown, so it has a touch of red in it but I am thinking of going redder next time. Will def check out Quantum @ Sallys!. Lastly, still intrigued by that dryer brush! I have a 20% Ulta coupon expiring on Aug 1. I may take the plunge!!! LOVE YOUS!!! XOXOXOXO

kj k: I love this hair color! It looks really natural on you, and it goes really well with your light skin tone!!!!

Amanda Taylor: Hi Z! I love your channel the absolute mostest for a few reasons: 1) i am a fair-skinned redhead and you use products that actually look good on ME; 2) your humor... I totally get your humor; 3) the way you teach your techniques makes it easy to follow along. I look so much more put together since i started watching over a year ago! Big question: have you ever checked out justforreadheads.com? The makeup, skin products and especially the hair products are awesome. I am a strawberry blonde by nature and the struggle is real with the fading of red color. Then I discovered henna. It is 100% natural and 100% color and I swear: it does not fade. Like, at all. I colored my hair to a gorgeous coppery red color and i only have to touch up my roots. you can not tell the difference in color from root to tip. AND it is so cheap. I always feel like an infomercial when i talk about henna because i an such a big believer in it. One downside: one you go to henna, you cannot go back... you cannot put chemical haircolor on to of it. But I am good with that because, it is cheaper than anything else i have bought, it does not fade and it keeps my hair insanely healthy. You have such great advice (I love Rimmel 25hr btw) and i thought i would share a nugget. Thank you so much for sharing YOUR nuggets every week!!!

Allie Doyle: I love the living proof shampoo and conditioner! I received a deluxe box set of some of their products from Sephora because of my beauty insider points. I love your hair color! I am thinking about adding some red tones into my hair but I'm hesitant because I swim in chlorinated water regularly so I don't know if that would effect the color.

Karen Johnston: I love my Infiniti Pro Spin Brush! This was the only way I could ever get that great just blown out look I got at my stylists. Between my blow dryer and round brush I was all thumbs and I could never get the back of my head and was so tired by the time I finished. I even bought a back up Spin Brush when I saw it at Nordstrom Rack because I was afraid it might be discontinued. (I think they are just releasing an improved model though.) Fantastic invention and I have never seen anyone on YouTube talk about it except you and your hair looks absolutely beautiful!

Rhonda Hart: Thank you so much for sharing "your" color!! I am reining in my budget and was a bit despondent over giving up my red hair but now I have hope of doing it myself. Love it and thanks again!!!

K.d. Lyn: I dye my hair red as well and I've tried A LOT of different shampoo/conditioner combinations. My favorite that I've repurchased and might consider my HG combo is the Joico K-Pak Color Therapy (not the regular K-Pak!). It smells great, the shampoo lathers just enough and doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or weird, and the conditioner is super conditioning but doesn't weigh my hair down. I also like the Joico Color Infuse Red shampoo; it really helps extend my color, but the Infuse Red conditioner is not the greatest. I do feel like it helps extend my color, but the conditioner is very thin and not very moisturizing. I like switching off between the two to get the moisture and repairing of the K-Pak and the color extending of the Infuse Red. Love your videos!

Jodette Weikel: I love LOVE your eye makeup here! Can you post a link to a tutorial for the look? It's really amazing. Thanks. Love your videos!

Ashley Gobellan: Your hair ALWAYS looks gorgeous!

Jennifer Lynn: Thank you for sharing this, my hair is a very similar texture & natural curl and I so admire how beautiful yours always turns out.

Dawn Adams: Great video! Very detailed, love it!!

Krayunz RR: You convinced me to cut my hair. My hair is pretty long, probably 6-8 inches longer than yours. What frustrates me is that when I go to my salon, I ask for "long layers". I pretty much get one-length hair with about an inch of differential at the bottom. I've worn mostly ponytails lately. Time for an update!

Nicole Vazquez: Love your hair color Zabrina! Looks beautiful on you! I have such hard to curl hair & really want to get the Sapphire wand, it looks awesome. I'm just nervous that I'll spend a lot of $ on it & it won't work. Think I'm going to try living proof cause I hate the frizz humidity makes. Great video & thanks for the tips :)

Marissa Williams: I had red hair for ages, loved it! Other ways I kept the color was to wash less often and wash in cold water only!

Kelly Michelle: Great video :) To reduce colour fade I also use a colour protect spray with UVA and UVB ray protection x

XtutsiX: I have the loreal majirouge 7.45 on my hair with a 10 volume developer, which comes close to your shade and is permanent :) they do some other very nice colors as well and stay vibrant for a long time!

Pixi Silvia: Love me the Quantum Reds Shampoo!! Been using that fabulous stuff for 2 months now.

Liz Zurita 7: Can you please do a tutorial on the makeup you were wearing with the bold red lip? It looks so glamorous on you

Dorthey Bass-Dickey: I have been loving the John Frieda Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner line for extending my red.

Gaelyn Harvey: I've got relatively curly hair that sits at my shoulders currently and Ive been straightening it for a few years now and Ive found that over the past 4 months or so my hair has become more susceptible to heat damage/showing heat damage. Now, here's my dilemma- because my hair is curly heat protectants have a way of making my damaged ends even more prominent and it looks absolutely terrible! Have you found any ways to either strengthen the folice of the hair so it can withstand the heat with minimal damage or even found a way to somehow mask the damage so it seems lile its not there at all? If so could you puhLEASE make a video on it! I hate how ratty my hair looks now-a-days but I can't stand my unruley curls. HELP!

Daria Isaksen: Yay, I've been waiting for this great video!! You look beautiful! xo, Daria

harayoutoday: Awesome video! I actually have an off topic question. What do you think about eyelash extensions and if you had ever used them before? I've seen a couple of people wear them and they look great, but is that type of procedure bad for my natural eyelashes? Thanks again for always being wonderful!

STR LL: Thank you so much... this really helps. Totally agree with you about the Conair revolving brush.

Crystal Luns: I have the same hair dryer..it is awsome..i love those kinds..my hair actually gets the pretty tousled look that i cant get without it(stick straight cant hold a curl thick hair)..think its the spinning/curling&heat combo on wet hair, since i usually have 2 sleep in foam rollers if i want my curls to last beyond 2hrs...i was devestated when my 1st one died,i searched all over&ened up ordering online..living proof styling balm is also the bomb..works on my hair (inbetween trims,i get a bit frizzy)&on my naturally curly (tight corkscrews)daughter..ur hair is gorgeous btw..

SLAMSwan: You are a STUNNAH!!!!  Love your hair color and everything about this video.

liizzarrdd: thank you for making this video!! Can you do one on how you dye your hair? Like what developer do you use, how long you leave it in? do you dye it on clean or dirty hair? What does your hair look like when it fades and need to redye it? How bad is the damage after you dye it?

Christina Tribble: Lucille Ball used Henna she imported by the case. I believe Carol Burnet did the same (not sure I spelled her name correctly) Henna comes in many different shades and is organic. <3 love your colour now! It is what I am striving for. My hair being a more deep chestnut auburn colour naturally, it is a process to keep it that lovely shade of red! Love your videos <3 blessed be

Deborah McLaughlin: Love this video!  Question:  what are you using on your brows with this new shade of red hair?  I find that auburn brows are the most difficult to do - and finding the appropriate auburn shades of product is frustratingly difficult!  Would LOVE to know what you are now using.  Many thanks.  : )

EverythingZen: Was waiting for this! Love your hair! :)

Jessica Rabbit: you look gorgeous here. You're makeup's looking flawless.

So Sher: Ms.Z I have 2 idea's to help your red color last longer. Do an Olaplex hair treatment before you color & week after you color. You can also do a clear demi permanent color (Sally's has one ) add 1/8 oz olaplex to the clear color demi-perm color acts as a no color toner adds shine and seals your color for longevity. My mom is a light auburn red this is the formula we use now. She has almost no fading after post color 4 washes. Almost all red colors are a bit dark after colorings. After a few shampoos when your color is perfect do the clear demi color to lock it in. the same formula works for blonde's & brunette's. as well.

Terry Green: ty so much for answering my questions,  been very very helpful!!  i appreciate that u took the time to do this video.  ur sooo sweet! :)

GuitarHoodlum: Love your hair, the color, the cut.  My husband loves auburn colored hair, and the red does fade so fast.  Thanks so much for the info. on what color your using.

Abc xyz: Have you ever tried henna shampoos? Or henna in general? It really makes your hair red. I have dark brown hair and after using a henna shampoo for a few months, my hair had visible red undertones, especially in the sunlight.

Amanda: Try henna for your hair! That's what I use on mine, and it's basically the exact same color you have here. The best part? It doesn't fade. Like ever. Bit of a commitment, but if you're willing to do some research, totally worth it! My hair has never been stronger or shinier.

makeupjazzetc: Love the color and style...very pretty.

Milosgirl2005: Gorgeous hair!

Chelsea Wagner: Loved this video, super helpful! Do you still use the Kenra blow dry spray?

Aiza C.: Hello Zabrena, I dyed my hair for the first time today using drugstore hair dye. But there are some parts that are still black, Im thinking of dying the black areas one more time tomorrow. Do you think it's safe? Thank you so much.

The Vegan Degenerate: Love this color on you!

Aly G.: You are such a classic beauty <3

Carol Frierson: My hair color is very close but I am going to Sally's to try your color next! I think it is gorgeous!

Daisy Cortes: Thank you so much for this video very informative

Jennifer Johnson Ellis: I loooooovvvvveeee Living Proof! Worth every penny. I have naturally curly hair & am hooked for life. Also, Aveda madder root for red hair maintenance, love it!

MsSpark111: Oh my god! I loved the makeup and look when u were styling ur hair♥u looked like a doll♥ u should wear straight hair sometimes♥

Kassandra Romero: Try the tresume hairspray! I don't like how hairspray feels in my hair either. I have the number 3 hold and it feels soft but holds well!:)

Shaunell MacGloan: I just added that humidity spray to my Wish. List:))) need to check into that one:))) curly girl probs...muah my friend!

Loraine: Your hair are goals!

Aletheia Mohn: Been waiting for this!! Thanks! :)

Sissi the German: Your hair color looks gorgeous and vibrant. You can also check out the Shea Moisture hair color system- this is also complete Ammonia, Sulfate, Paraben free (and cruelty free!) and actually made for curly hair as it doesn't destroy the curls. Comes in a vibrant red color as well. http://pinterest.com/pin/341992165427641176/ I love living proof styling products. I can't do vinegar. I swear I can smell it even the day after!

Mandy L: Do you normally use the humidity shield spray before you curl your hair? You did in this video, so I wasn't sure.

Lipstick Lunatik: What are you using on your brows? Did you dye them as well? Also you can try Vidal Sasoon pro hair color in merlot vibrant red, it is similar to your color

Flaviane H.: Gorgeous!

Wen Lou: so does the ACV moisturize you're hair? I battle with dryness after dying my hair

Linda Lincoln: Thanks for mentioning your haircut. How is it cut in the back straight across or V shape?

Dark Inside: + What's the dye u use to get the ur popular red color? + What's ur fav curl defining product ? I hope you answer lots of love

Ashley Olinger: Do you let your hair air dry for awhile before using the Conair brush or can you use it right after a shower while hair is still really wet?

Danielle Morse: When u straighten ur hair, does it ruin ur curl pattern? How often do u straighten ur hair? I want to straighten mine every once in a while but scared of damaging my curls.

L Sofi: Can u do a tutorial on the eyeshadow u are wearing in this video?

Laura R.: Hi! When you are showing how you  curl your hair, what lipstick are you wearing? It looks fabulous on you! Thank you for your videos! I always learn so much! :D

Stacie Andreyeva: You look like a beautiful old hollywood starlet!

Leslie Downs: Hey, you're hair is gorgeous!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Just wondering, how long have you and your hubby been married?

Corrine.C ✨: Great video!! This must of been when the brush stopped working/ rotating... shhhh... hehehe... keep up the good work! :) xoxo

Ayonna Perkins: I've been waiting forever for this video!! Yayyyyyy

MsSpark111: U were very true abt the layers♥ btw.. How often do u dust or trim ur hair?

Dawn lee Senoj: Hi Zabrena I'm a little late with a question comment so hoping you see it . The part in the video where you are using the curling to create the uber pretty curls ...is that the same hair colour clairol professional cedar red that you mention at the beginning of the video? It could be from slightly different lighting but it looks a bit more red or richer in the part with the curling iron ... both are gorgeous. I'm thinking of trying that clairol that you mentioned...I love my reds like you and finding just the right shade can be tricky.....I love all the shades I've seen on you and tend to be the ones I like for myself as well.

Leidy Laura: There's also henna dye but that's permanent till the hair grows out. Good thing about it is that the color doesn't fade like other chemicals dyes, on the other hand henna is natural, dyes hair red with the exception of it being mixed with other plants to get different shades, works as a conditioning treatment and adds natural shine to hair Though because it is permanent till hair grows out you can't dye your hair with chemical dyes because the chemical mix with the henna hair could ruin it.. But it is safe and natural and I love the shades I get with henna :)

Ryleigh Ogonowski: Omg you're soooo pretty

Shara Keener: How often do you wash your hair?

CalicoCatMissPeachs: Hi, Would you consider doing a tut. on the spinning brush.  I need this.  After reading the reviews some complain about their hair getting twisted in it and that the button has to be held down.  Thank you

Shelly Krueger: Zabrina, HELP!!! I've been trying to find a drugstore dupe for Urban Decay's Revolution Lip Goss in the color KINKY. PLEASE HELP, YOURE THE ONLY ONE I TRUST WITH FINDING DS DUPES!!!!!

Crystal G: I have a blow drying brush and my nephew said, "Why don't you just use a regular hair dryer." lol. Little boys don't understand.

Will Abreu: Have you tried WEN? It will change your life. It changed mine and I'm a guy with short hair. It will minimize your touch ups too because it does not strip your hair.

Deb Schrader: what hair masks do u use?

Jane ODee: Why not try Henna? it's natural and would give you the same shade you have now.

Dumboreo 14: We love you Z!

Ashley Hellen: Aww my hair is too dark to dye it your color

felinekj: For u gals out there with thin fine hair... DO NOT LAYER ur hair!!! U will have the opposite effect. If I had Z's hair I would be SOOOO HAPPY!  but I don't : ( So u have to make the most of it. :)

Sherri West: Does the apple cider vinegar make your color fade at all?

Boss Lady Lauren: I found The Living Proof at Marshalls.

Carol Frierson: I am looking to purchase the Kat Von D make up. I want to get the light & shade eye palette and the contour palette and a few other things like the lightning liners and some of the lip sticks. The thing is, it is very expensive! What is the best way to purchase these at a discount? The JC Penney's here where I live, does not accept store coupons on these products. Everything on my list is $278.00! Is it even possible to get these on a discount from Sephora? Amazon prices are higher than Sephora! Any ideas would be so helpful!
