I dont usually make videos about hair but I've had so many requests to make one discussing the products and styling tools I like. I'm not a hairdresser so these are just my personal favourites. Some recommended to me by the many great hairdressers I work with and others just through trial and error.

What are your favourite hair products?

I filmed this right after I got back from summer holidays just before I went back to work, Jessie and I were testing out new false lashes for my kit. I think this was the third pair I tried out!

I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone's skin is different and it's possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.

I only feature products I like, or want to try. The products I use in these videos are either purchased by me or sent to me by make-up companies to use in my professional capacity as a make-up artist for fashion and celebrity photo shoots, red carpet etc. I am also sent products by many of the top magazines to judge for awards.

I do not accept payment and am not sponsored to make any of the films on this channel. Some of the links under the videos and blog posts on my site are affiliated however and as stated before, I only feature products I like, or want to try.

Hi today, I'm going to make a quick video featuring some of my favorite hair products and styling tools, because so many people have asked me what I use and how I style my hair and what styling tools I use, which is really flattering, because I'm not that Great at hair, so I'm gon na hairdresser by any stretch of the imagination, so yep so for shampoo. I I've tried all different ones, obviously over the years, but time and time and again I always come back to Cara stars. I use quite a few of their different ones. This is age recharge, which is for vite hair vitality, but I also use this to other green ones, one for volumizing and one for oily roots with dry ends, which is really really good as well, and I've tried using other shampoos, and I've always ended up coming Back to it I know they're quite expensive, but they're very concentrated and they're, my favorite. So that's what I use. I also use some of their conditioners. I use their masks. I haven't got one of the moments just run out of it yesterday and through the bottle out, which was the UV one, the one in the red pot, but all of their shampoos have masks that go with them and they have regular conditioners for use everyday. So I normally always have the masks and the the conditioner as well, and some of their styling products like their heat, styling products. Conditioning products are really good. These leave-in ones are particularly fantastic. The only other masks I use is I use this one, which is by Percy and Reid, and this is TLC for hair, and I really like this moisturizing hydrating mask. I really love Moroccan oil, mrs. Lilly wrong. Almost running out now I like to use a couple of drops of this. Sometimes I'll use a couple of drops before I go to bed when I'm going to wash my hair the next morning, so make it quite greasy, but it's sort of condition it overnight or I will, after I've washed my hair I'll, put a couple of drops just Through the ends I'd say: I've got very oily route, so they I need to wash my hair every other day and if I put too much conditioning stuff in or too much near my roots, then I have to wash my hair day. So I don't like to do that, I'd like to do it every other day, so, but I do think that Moroccan oil is fantastic. The other thing that I do is when my hairs all dry and styled and ready. I will add some of my photo 7, which is one of my favorite kind of everyday, just hair conditioners, just to run through the ends or to get rid of any frizziness, because if my hair can get quite frizzy I'll use that and occasionally I'll put a Little few drops of Moroccan oil in with it mix them together and then just I don't go right onto the roots, but I'll go kind of from here down and just kind of work it through again really small amount to just very rubbed into my hand. So I'm not weighing my hair down because anything, that's heavy or very conditioning or too rich. My hair just gets weighed down, it looks really fine, doesn't look nice and it gets really oily the next day, absolutely love tangle teasers. It'S my favorite way of brushing my hair and I always have one in my handbag, they're, just brilliant and when you're trying to brush through wet hair, I think it's the safest way of detangling without damaging. I always blow drying my hair with one of these. I don't even know what make this is, but I buy them from boots or any like chemist, they're, really inexpensive and they're like flattening vent brushes. I don't know what else to call them. I'M sure hairdressers are probably got a proper name for them and you can kind of smooth your hair out. So I kind of I'm not very good at blow-drying, but I kind of pull along and I'll put that the heat through here through the vents and then just go all the way down a few times and it kind of it doesn't straighten it too much. So it looks, I don't look good as we straight hair, but it smooths out the kind of craziness because it can get really underneath quite curly and a bit frizzy and it just for me. It really smooths it out. So I always have one of these with me, especially from going away I like to do my hair with that I've always used since they launched the WAM hair hair dryer really expensive, but this must be six years old. Now it's never broken down. It'S fantastic. It dries your hair really quickly. It doesn't make my hair frizzy for hairdressers, it's great because it can. You can close it like this and hairdressers can use it. Apparently that's good for hair dress. I don't know I'm not a hairdresser, but for me I just love it as a regular everyday. Every time I wash my hair, I always dry my hair with this, and it was the best investment I ever made because every time over, the head, hair, dryer I've had they normally last a year or two, and then they kind of overheat and blow up and That one is his perfect six years later. I also have same thing, and these are the Andrew Barton hair tongs, which are fantastic, and these were very cheap. I think they're 15 pounds and again I've had them for about five or six years and they are brilliant. At just doing these sort of curls around the face and just so easy to use and and fantastic, sometimes these rollers occasionally I will use the cloud. Nine runs and I like these because they don't really give curl, but they give body and they smooth out. I use them more for smoothing out my hair, so the areas that where I can get quite frizzy or quite curly on top I'll use the large ones it just gives more of a sort of wave with a bit of body in, and I have a set Of old school ones as well, which I don't really use unless I'm going out at night - and I want a really sort of fabulous like 70s do, and then I just put these all over my head again, I'm not very good at knowing where to put them. But they just seemed to work out and then just kind of run, my fingers through it - and these are the Charles Worthington ones, and I'm think I've had these for about twelve years. Twelve thirteen years and they're quite easy to use - and you just put them through and then clip use a sort of clamp and hold them in place and that's pretty much it a very rarely change. My hair, you probably noticed I don't yeah. I found the shampoo that I, like sort very rarely change shampoo, don't really change conditioner, since I found the Moroccan oil I've really stuck to that. I haven't changed any of these styling tools for about ten years and same with the everyday sort of conditioner smoothing cream. So I hope that was helpful. I hope it was useful and for all of those who ask correct asked for it. I hope it was interesting. So I'll see you soon.

Ellen: Lisa, you have got such a shining personality! Love love love watching EVERY video of yours! And I agree with the people who adore this makeup look. It s absolutely stunning. Would really appreciate a tutorial. xxx

angerbell3: For those asking about her make up in this video, I THINK she used Clarins Ever Matte Foundation, Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer for spots (although her skin looks amazing here!), Clinique Airbrush under her eyes, Bourjois Blush in Rose Frisson, and most definitely No7 lip pencil in# 20 nude all over the lips, maybe with a bit of balm on top. Little bit of eye contouring. Obviously the lashes :) But Lisa looks AMAZING in this baby blue sweater. The color suits her so well. <3

HazardWalking: Thank you so much for this video Lisa! I've been waiting for it, and I love the fact that you don't just use what every other beauty person on Youtube uses, and that you introduce us to new products!

MyLashesandLiner: I love this makeup look! Very simple and clean yet flirty. Could you do a tutorial on this? Nice lashes btw!!! :]

ChristyT71: I purchased the shampoo, hair mask and M oil (mentioned in this video) for my dry and frizz prone hair. Must say, after one use of all products, even with drier blow out and flat ironing, my hair is smooth and frizz free! Even in humid Florida weather. Thank you, Lisa.

Natalia Lopez: Don't ever change your hair look. You look amazing just like that. You're simple & chic. When you do a vintage / modern look (if that makes sense) You're georgous. I adore that mix of sofistation and style. In makeup and hair I love simplity with a touch of glamour. Bye Lisa!

Gtmj: I know this is irrelevant but i like the way lisa wears her off shoulder top, some people wear them so down, it looks so weird. Lisa wears it so elegantly.

adrianedrian: Your every video lifts my spirits! Also, I got ridiculously excited when I saw you use one of those brushes with ceramic plates under the bristles (I also have no idea what the proper name for them is either). I purchased one by Elite some time ago and I love it. It's not too aggressive, it does the job without turning my hair into overcooked vermicelli, if you know what I mean. I don't know why they aren't more popular, but I'm sure they will be after this vid.

bootyclaw: Hi Lisa. Please, please, please could you do a tutorial on this look. You always look beautiful but you look extra beautiful in this video. The makeup is stunning, and reading through the comments, I can see that I'm not the only one who thinks this. Thank you! x

hbarlaam: Lisa, your makeup look is amazing here, especially the eyes! Please give us a tutorial. :)

Rena Karle: could you do a tutorial for this look? absolutely gorgeous! xx

Amy: I'm so glad I discovered your channel way back when, because you have the same skin type and even hair type as me - I'm also pretty oily at the roots and dry at the ends! It's great to find such an amazing makeup artist (and someone with similar hair to mine) who can recommend good products for us oily types.

Elle De Jour: Would love a makeup tutorial for this look please! you look absolutely gorgeous!!! x

Tulipan711: Dear Lisa, thank you for these amazing advice :)! I have the same type oh hair as you do, so your advice is extremely useful for me. I am also using Tangle Teezers, which are great, and Moroccanoil and Phyto 7 are on their way to me :). You are amazing.

salttothesea: Thank you so much for this video, Lisa! I've always admired your gorgeous hair. I ended up getting the Kerastase Bain Divalent Shampoo, and so far I absolutely love it! Thank you! xx

dnilla xx: Thank you! I love your favorites videos. It's so refreshing finding someone who has found their "go to" products and routine and has stuck to them. I do very little with my hair so I'm looking for my own go-to favorites; will be trying the Kerastase shampoo. xo

dtormon07: This might be the best your makeup has looked in a video! I think many of us would LOVE to see a tutorial on it :)

Amelia Makes It Up: Absolutely wonderful recommendations! My hair always craves moisture, so heat is something I avoid at all costs. I've just recently switched over to using oils in my hair now, and I've seen a huge improvement! I can't stop talking about SoftSheen Carson's Optimum Miracle Oil hair moisturizer! Frizz free and defined curls, I'm ecstatic! xx

chromecaster: please do a tutorial on this look! it's so soft and pretty :)

ZarinaAhmad: This is brilliant, my hair is practically the same as yours seems to be and I always have problems with my ends drying out. Great tips xx

Jamie B: love your makeup, I would love to see a tutorial on this look! xx

mgparis: seeing your beautiful face and listening to your lovely voice never fails to make my day - THANK YOU Lisa! PS - Special ear-scratches to Betty and Peachop :)

Sara Morais: Wow Lisa, you're glowing in this video! The whole "thing" suits you well...the makeup, your hair, the color of what you're wearing. Gorgeous!

Juno St. Justin: I'm using the moroccan oil as well, it's amazing! It completely changed the way my hair looks and feels.

francesca bassi: hi Lisa! I have bought the tangle teezer and it's wonderful! my hair are incredibly shiny and soft!!! thankyou Lisa, you are my Guru!!!!

lilpandaXD: Lisa I read your article in the Australian vogue! And I'm so inspired by you! I can't wait for your documentary on make up history!

Willemien Bardawil: Please do a tutorial on this look! you look amazing!!!! love the eyes!

micapetey: Your hair looks so healthy and full of life! My hair is colored (or else I'd be mostly gray), fine but lots of it, and wavy with a tendency to frizz at the slightest humidity. I've got the Moroccan Oil Masque but ready to chuck it, as it does nothing for me. Love "It's a 10" leave-in conditioner! Fabulous new find.

Maria Biernacka: Lisa, wyglądasz cudownie w tym wideo ! <3

LipstickandGlitter: You're beautiful, Lisa! I'm like you...hair is the bane of my existence. And I totally agree with you about Kerastase. I never had more beautiful hair than when I used the Kerastase Bain Satin shampoo. When I used that shampoo, I didn't even need to take a flat iron to my hair anymore. It smoothed it out SO much.

Anna Mazzilli: Love, love, love this makeup look! Can you please do a makeup tutorial of it? Thanks!

classytips27: Lisa, you always look amazing, but I love your makeup and hair in this video. Natural, but incredibly beautiful!!!!

mah4angel: You are simply phenomenal! I never do my hair at all, totally not my thing. I never blow-dry it, never straighten or curl it. BUT I really should invest in some great styling tools for when I do decide to pick myself out of my hair slump! Thank you so much for the advice :D

i4yi4: This video was super informative, and yes it was useful too! Especially now that winter is rolling in, I need to start hydrating my hair a lot more!

Ashwini: BaByliss is amazing!!!!! I bought this set which had 3 curling irons , a straightener , a crimper and 2 other types of curling tools...Its was just amazing and was not very expensive too!

musicianinmakeup: Awesome video! I've always been curious about your hair. I really wish that you would do a tutorial on the soft curls that you always seem to be wearing (like you are in this video!). They always look gorgeous and I'd love to see your process. Any chance you would consider doing a one time hair tutorial? Thanks Lisa! =) x

agepe7: Thank you! As usual, a great video, and very informative. I love Kerastase products, but usually stick to masks -Masquintense and Nectar Thermique- but now I feel like I have to try the shampoo you mention because that's exactly my type of hair: oily roots and dry ends. And you look incredible in this video.

TheJasminder777: Dear Lisa what seems to work for me (oily roots/dry ends) is dry shampoo, since you're brunette a standard one will probably make your roots look ashy but there are some brands that do a dry shampoo specific for brunettes :) I find the dry shampoo also helps to control the root oiliness in the long term because it helps me not washing it as often and helps the ends retain moisture :)

SoyaPistol: Hi Lisa ! Can you please make a makeup tutorial featuring this GORGEOUS make-up that you're wearing in this video ? :) You look so great with it ! :)

urthgurl24: I had been feeling sick today so I was lying in bed, listening to your video, and I realized your voice is so soothing and therapeutic to me. I love your videos, Lisa!

kendal blizzard: Hello Lisa :) You are such a huge inspiration to me. I am a 21 year old Canadian hairstylist who is about to go to school to become licensed as a makeup artist. Makeup is my passion and joy. I am an artist, so it is another medium for me. To have found you online is amazing. Would you consider doing a video explaining the progression of your extraordinary career? From the beginning, in school, to how you achieved everything you have to the present day? That would be such a fantastic video! xo

losthotairballoon: You have such a sweet giggle, I really enjoyed this - as I do all videos, thank you Lisa, you are the embodiment of elegance and beauty. Xx

Shivani Handa: Could you please list the makeup you have on here/do a tutorial on this look? It is absolutely stunning! I love the lip colour you have on and the way the makeup makes your eyes look so big and beautiful. Thank you!! xx

Lindsey Froling: please do a tutorial on this look! you look lovely!

Ghrimvixon: Love the makeup!! This should totally be your everyday look! I'm thinking to myself "Omgosh is that Lisa?!? :-D wow best look ever!" please do a video of this look.

Mary-Jean O'Doherty: You look gorgeous! Please do a tutorial on this look.

emma1264: You MUST do a make up tutorial of this look!!!

Catherina F.: You look absolutely STUNNING in this video! And thank you for great tips, my hair also thanks you :)

Jana Fikrlová: I literally sat down determinded to write every single product down so I can possibly pick it up, because I absolutely love your hair. I'm glad I was apparently picking out the good ones, because I use the same range of shampoo, Kerastase is my favourite as well.:) I need look into Phyto for sure tho.:)

Alexus Duarte: Your makeup looks so good! You should do a tutorial!!! (:

karyann: Please do a tutorial with this look! :)

ncg: Can you do a makeup tutorial for this look? I love it!

Shelley Kerr: Hi Lisa, Thank you for doing this video. Your hair is always beautiful.. One of my favourite products is the Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Serum. It's so light that if I ever feel my skin is dry then I add one drop into my moisturiser and doesn't react. I have combination skin and prone to the odd spot or two. I also love the Morrocanoil but the Ojon serum is much much lighter yet very hydrating x

Holly Finnegan: You look so stunning in this video Lisa! It would be lovely if you could show us how you did it :)

M Egbert: Thank you for this video, I have long admired your beautiful hair. Also, your make up looks so youthful, soft and glowy in this video. You are ALWAYS so stunning!!

lilmihoshi: I've been using Aussie's clarifying shampoo and my hair feels so clean afterward. Maybe try that one. It's about $6USD for a big container :)

Alexandra Jadoff: Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing! Do you use any hairspray once you've finished curling your hair? I'm having a hard time finding a good one that doesn't dull down hair. Thank you!!

Mel Burt: The Morrocan oil is now on my list of must haves!! My hair is somewhat similar to yours so hopefully some of these products will do wonders for my hair.

Samantha Jones: I would absolutely love it if you could please do a makeup tutorial on the makeup you are wearing in this video! You look so stunning!

Hazel44z: So very helpful! Thank you. With other beauty gurus in YouTube they change there hair care so often you never know if it really works. It's great to find someone who doesn't try out hundreds of hair care product and instead recommends what work for you. And I am so happy to discover they do shampoo for greasy roots but dry ends! This may be my saviour. X

Çağla Beybi: Can you do a tutorial on this look, please? and this look really suits you. actually the best look on you ever <3

Mia Wallace: i LOVE your makeup, pls do a tutorial on this look! :) xx

Fernanda Mira: Lisa you look stunning!!!!!!! Do a make up tutorial of this look please!! :) it looks simple, but its so pretty!! Xo from brasil!! :)

Raquel G: Love the look!! Please do a tutorial! :D

ilandsnow: Hi Lisa, I love your Makeup look !!! Can you please do a tutorial ?

1129cgr: I agree with all the others who loved this look. It looks effortlessly simple yet very beautiful. I would enjoy a tutorial of this look when you have time to make one. On another note, I got the Tangle Teezer and it works really well. I'm about to order the hair straightener. I use the Phyto line which is great. Some of the other hair tools are not readily available in the states, so I'm out of luck there. Thank you for all the great recommendations.

HitlerCleopatra: Lisa you look fantastic as always. Speaking of oily roots and dry ends, I was wondering if you could help. My skin is rather oily, especially through my T-zone but for some bizarre reason that's where I have the most dry skin! I know it's hard for to give out advice without seeing for yourself in person but if you do have any tips I'd appreciate it a lot. Thank you!

I am. Pamela: I agree, the makeup look for this video is just something stunning, please do a tutorial, per entity pleeeeease :)

Jenny Luu: I think it will help actually! I do too have very dry ends and when I started to use the moroccan oil my hair almost stopped splitting as much as before. Don't put too much on thought :)

Ash True: You look so gorgeous! And even if you're "not that great at hair" you are absolutely amazing at makeup so there is that :)

Yoosun Jun: I absolutely love your makeup! Can you do a tutorial on the look you are wearing on this video?

Fiv3FootNoth1ng: You look beautiful Lisa! So simple and classy.

Andy Hamm: Lisa you are always so stunning! PS have you ever tried Lea Journo's hair products? They are my absolute FAVORITE and the only line I've found that can manage my mane :) If you haven't but are curious to try her line I would recommend the shampoo, conditioner, glossing creme and her french plum oil.

ASDL: Love the look. Simple and elegant.

Lisa Eldridge: I work with so many amazing hairdressers in my day to day job and they always humble me with their talent and knowledge. I've never done hair myself so do feel out of my comfort zone ...but I have benefited from watching and listening to the best in the world ; ) X

factorygal21: I love Moroccan Oil too! I used to use their shampoo and conditioner but I recently got turned on to Minardi luxury collection #2 and love it! I also have oily roots and dry ends because I color my hair and heat- style a lot.

Helen Chavez: Your makeup looks amazing can you do a tutorial on it please ! :)

Nikki: OMG, what an amazing make up look!! <33 Please, please, do a tutorial. xoxo :D

Mirjana Bozhinovska: I have actually tried Moroccan oil, and it was divine. But I can't really afford it all the time. I was my hair every other day too, for the same reasons, so I really appreciate the showcase :)

SMA: Tutorial on this look please! Stunning!

NoRa: I was unsure about the Tangle Teezer but now I think I'll buy it to try. Thank you very much for this video - you're one of the very few YT gurus that I trust. :-)

2bad2bable: yes, please make a tutorial of this make up look, looks quite nice! :)

Dragos: finally a hair video Lisa! I cannot tell you how much I have been looking for a good curler in the UK, lots of youtubers favour the Conairs and whatnot that come from the States... wil go and get myself the Andrew Burton one! your hair looks effortlessly chic and delicate and so.... you! don't change it xx

kindlemore: I need to watch this video again - I only heard half of it as I got so distracted by looking at you, because you look especially beautiful in this video! - And without being overly madeup. Please do a tutorial on your look xoxo

yeoboseyo: Hi Lisa, I have been on a constant quest for my right foundation/concealer shade and I realized that I have the exact same skin colour as you! (I always get paired to the wrong shade which is very, very frustrating!) May I ask which Bobbi Brown Concealer shade you are using? And also which Bobbi Brown foundation shade would you recommend? Thank you so much!

Suman Kaur: Your so beautiful Lisa. I really appreciate your videos. I watch them again and again! XD can you please do a makeup tutorial on this look you are wearing? Thank you!!

Noora Alhaj: When I see a new video from Lisa Eldridge on my youtube wall, a big smile instantly comes to my face.

Noora Alhaj: When I see a new video from Lisa Eldridge on my youtube wall, a big smile instantly comes to my face.

kuropixie: finally a diva who thinks its ok to rock the same hair for a long period of time. Seriously, I've got naturally curly (uncontrolabl frizz after a day), and when i go out all i do is use extra condition it. Thats all. No styling creams or nothin, and my hair looks great. If u rock a hair style, rock it hard. Doesnt matter how long u rock it for. Cause only u can rock it that way ;P

Sandie B: You have my hair type as well. I've found out one trick that's been a lifesaver for me is going to bed with my hair towel dried and styling it in the morning. I don't need a hairdryer at all, and the cuticle is relaxed enough to work with properly. I also appreciate not needing as much products, though I still wash and condition everynight.

missson67: Thanks for this video as I have always been curious which hair products/tools you use as your hair always looks beautiful. Am definitely going to give kerastase a try. A tutorial on the makeup you are wearing would be fabulous.

littleangel3184: Amazing makeup look Lisa!Chic yet sexy!!!!Please do a tutorial!
