Thinning hair is a big Beauty bummer at any age, but don't worry. I'Ve got the best. Styling tips straight from a top hair expert stay tuned. Recently, we covered all the ways that hair can get thinner as we get older and we offered up some of the most up-to-date scientific treatments for hair loss. But today I've got a top expert, Jeffrey Firth, who's going to show us how to care for n style, thinning hair Jeffery is a style expert from the surgeon or Mont hair salon in New York City and a go-to person to help women manage their thinning hair. So, let's take it from the top. First of all, we started off cleansing it with a volumizing shampoo and then what I'm going to do next is apply a volumizing lotion and the volumizing mousse. So, first of all, volumizing lotion just on the roots straight, lift the hair right and listen as you're on the top, because that's where you really need the volume. So just on the roots. Yep and now I want to use the volumizing mousse and rub it into your hands: first, don't clunk on the hair because it weighs the hair down. You have to make sure that you towel dry, the hair first before you apply your product. Otherwise it's too wet. It'S going to dilute it and not on the roots, just on the hair since to the McClinton, it's mm-hmm, and that's that I'm now we're gon na start to dry while is not alone, and I'm just going to massage the roots to help expand the hair and Also, as you're doing this just tell us some of the things that people whose hair starting to thin what they should not do like too much of pulling and yanking yeah too much pulling too much heat. Curling irons be careful all it should be gentle with it. Don'T other dry, it also a good thing with sending the hair it's good to have. You live the color a little bit darker with roots that gives it more depth. So doesn't look as thing. That'S. A good tip highlights on top of a darker base. So now brush fabulous, beautiful and soft. So what else do you have? This is kegels created cream wax. It just took a little bit in your hands: intense mm-hmm, it's like we're finishing. I guess right, yeah and just scrunch it all in gets rid of all the fly away. Yes, and now I'm a tree, I'm going to use this. This is topic. What this does is creates depth to the head has fibers in it which make the hair feel a bit thicker fuller, especially for people who like thinning up here. Yes, it's fabulous comes in a variety of colors to powder, so you really only used it right on the top and you find that that's the area where most women tends to be where the light shines through, and people of a self-conscious okay. So this is the dry shampoo, the dry, shampoo, the other secret weapon, so you're using it almost like a hairspray like a setting spray that marketer has a texturising spray. That'S really a dry shampoo over the hairspray to go. Thank you so much Beth. You look gorgeous and Jeffrey. Thank you for all of you, my pleasure. Trudy B: How ironic that the presenter has the most awesome hair that we, the minions with thin, fine hair all wish we could have.

1984 Redpilled: Excellent comments from honest people on here who know the reality of thin hair . All the hunk in the world makes minimal difference .

Linda Mast: sometimes thinning hair is due to medical problems and mineral deficiencies like Vit. D, etc; hope that helps

Janet Whitten: I found out about what he used all on my own when my hair started thinning and they work great for awhile. I said for awhile. Until you start getting bald spots. and the thinning gets to be so bad you can see your scalp. One helpful thing you can do is use thinning hair shampoos. Use the best on the markets advertised because they will work. Don't use off brands. Mayo clinic told me to use the Men'a Rogaine. I used it for a year. It worked but its expensive and a lot of work. I personally rather wear a wig in wich I began to be more self confident. People thought I looked great in them and I finally stopped worrying about losing my hair. I found some really inexpensive ones after great trial and error but gave me a great variety. And my real hair is still very thin with bald spots but the shampoos I found are helping it to grow back and get thicker. Good luck everyone.

Judy .S: Who has time....or desire... to use ALL those products! Wow!

Laura Beldin: This was actually very helpful thank you guys so much

Allison Clark: Please help. My hair has always been my pride and joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some bleach damage. And I figured the master stylist who did all the color-corrections would know how much would be too much. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my hair or touch it. I just don't know what to do. My hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should I do to regrow hair?

Lesley Pyke Glass Engraver: SO many products!!! I keep my fine hair long so that I can quickly use a crimper near the roots (instant volume) then loosly put it up with a croc clip grip, as long as you fix it high enough to show a bit at the top, it is a wonderful illusion for volume. NO sprays of any description used. The necessity for using products is what puts me off cutting it.

KPJ113: My hair has become super-thin this year. :( I always had a good head of hair, but after I turned 60, it slowly started thinning. Now, it's only about half as thick as it once was. (I am 61.) It's so disheartening, but I have found that keeping my hair cut in short layers works well to give the illusion of fuller hair when I blow it dry with a round brush. I use volumizing mousse before I blow dry. Any brand will do, provided it has the word 'volume' in it. And unlike the stylist in this video, I *do* mousse the roots. You should, too--it works. He was right about towel drying your hair first, though. Towel dry first, then work the mousse in well, and use your blowdryer and your free hand to tousle your hair a bit with the dryer. Once your hair is damp, then start using the round brush to add volume. I make my hair as 'big' as I can, with the brush/dryer, then when I'm done, I quickly spray Garnier Volumizing Hair Spray (from 12" away) all over my hair, then use my fingers to piece it into place to style it, so that it doesn't look like 'big hair'.) Hope this helps!

Shapie Nails: Wow if I put that much product on my hair I would worry it would fall out more !!

Tyler Dorsey: *I've been using Super Hair Food Hair Growth Shampoo for about 8 weeks now, and I love it. I had thinning hair and now have new hair growth and it appears thicker. I highly recommend this shampoo to other people who are experiencing thinning hair*

paula hulke: I’ve been there... Stop using ALL THOSE products on a weak hair follicle!

Sue Smith: That's a LOT of products .... I find too many products tend to weigh down my thinning hair and makes it look FLAT rather than full ‍♀️❗️❗️

Geraldine Sera: The cost of products do not produce the stated "gorgeous" end product. If you CAN'T produce a great hair style, don't waste our time!!!!!!

Azabujuban-Hito: I only use TWO products. Percy & Reed Volumizer Oil and Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL. My thin hair stays full volume and bouncy for days !

Rebecca Harris Hunt: The several videos like this that I've looked at all require a lot of fussing -- I've never used heat or "product" on my hair, don't shampoo daily, and use a leave-in conditioner (avoiding the roots). I don't know how to fuss with my hair, and I suspect that I may be left with trying to build height at the crown by rollers or teasing. Suggestions?

Madeline Weston: Very helpful tips!!

Donna: Can we get a list in the description box of what products he used? I got a pixie and now letting in grow out, but it's almost been a year and still. Ugh. I enjoyed the video. As for those negative comments. He was working with HER hair and HER cut.

Ms Dee: Okay, so we all agree that there are way too many products. If anyone comes across a more practical video please let me/us know. This one has way too many products, as well as too much time and money spent.

katiedid038: My hair is thinning because of immunosuppressant drugs I take for my recent kidney transplant. Would a short haircut work for me? My hair currently looks terrible and I’m not sure what I should do.

Elizabeth Anderson: My hair has lost all it natural curl! I use hot rollers and hairspray! In 10 min. It hangs straight! I end up putting it up everyday! I don't know what to do with it!!!

Margaret Szuky: HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO VOLUMIZE HER HAIR. PERIOD. Get outta here!!!!

Susan Borgman: Wow...that was a lot of products, wonder what they cost

L Bluebird: Too many products, too much for someone with weakness or disability. I'd have to have someone fix my hair everyday. This is for rich people too. Let's get realistic AARP, we all don't have as much retirement $$ as we would like. And certainly aren't that young. She's not over 60, if she is, I will apologize. I'm to weak to spend that much time. I'm also full figured, round face, and these haircuts are always on thin, oval shaped faces. My hair is thin on top due to thyroid issues. Nothing makes it grow back. I miss my pretty thick beautiful hair my hairdresser used to rave about and men loved to touch! lol Oh well, old age is going to happen but why does it have to be so cruel.

Roxanna Harvey: Could we have links to products like he used that we could buy & try?

Mo Poole: Nothing I use makes my hair look thicker,

Myrna Laserna: Vit. D, Biotin, psyllium husk, mega vit B helps thinning hair.

Tela Stocksdale: All those products would make my scalp ITCH!

S.: all that product on my thin hair would weigh it down.

christine beames: What wonderful skin the model has ,

Marvin: I love short hair

Novelangel: I have thinning hair and had to chuckle at all the glop he put in this lady's hair, which did nothing whatsoever to it. I recently discovered something that actually does work to put volume, shine, softness and body into my hair, and hopefully also give it some grow power for a change. I'm talking about fermented rice water. Just toss some raw rice, brown or white, into a jar of water and let it set overnight to ferment. Cover the smell with a little perfume or essential oils, and rinse your hair with that whenever you wash. Some say to not use it too often, but I use it every day and it leaves my hair looking terrific.

Cal Cal: Putting anything besides hairspray on thin hair is a disaster. Worst advice ever!!

marlene kerrmarlene: thank you so much

Teresa Newell: I had breast cancer 7 yrs ago.( SURVIVOR ) my cancer is estrogen positive and progression positive what does a women 57 do? I have done the shampoos Keranique products. I'm getting big balling spots I do color my hair with box products cause it came back gray not ready. when I color my hair I used half box just touching up. A big comb to comb my hair. Please help or give some advice. thank you Teresa

Gina2190: its an advert for the thinning products , just seen same 5 or 6 used on a fella on you tube , same exact brand too !

Carol L: Way too many products. A simple blow dry with heat protector and a little bit thickening lotion, finishing with toppik, cabooki, or ion hair fiber builders is much better than what we just watched.

Joan Veit: I have thinning hair in the front,,,how can I fix that?

Donna Bittner: Wait! Add highlights to her hair......what's he smoking? And let's get some REAL haircuts for balding women. I used to be Miss Breck Shampoo......remember that! Now, from thyroid disease I have little hair. And don't send us Trump's stylist....... I want to see what real brave balding women are doing!

Holly Samson: You are kidding! Toooo much product! Too costly!

Meg Goodare: We didn't see her before he washed her hair

AwakenedOne: So, where are the products featured?? Putting products in hair takes such a small amount of time, but the final look is great.

Doodie Evans Henagan: Please get rid of the perm! Soooo outdated! Cut that permed moss & get a blunt bob with a pretty reddish blonde, would be sleek....or make it a creamy blonde, cut into sheer bob, all blunt cut! You'd look 20 yrs younger

Kari B Gold: Yuck. He gave her old lady hair.

Tineke Williams: Hahaha, warm the hair to extend the hair, is he real? I could do better than him. It looks dreadful!

taraclarissa: Do mine! Do mine!

Samirah Amantullah: Too many products. A professional could do but not me.

Priya K: Awwwwwwww Just the chemicals..

T Herich: Nice, but too many products used.

BettyBoop15: Oh sure, but if someone is not handy with fixing hair there is no way they could accomplish this. Putting all those products, besides the expense, isn't realistic. A relative of mine doesn't have any styling ability, the lady still puts/sleeps with rollers in her hair, I was hoping to get some tips for really short thin hair, oh well I'll keep looking.

Deb W.R: Too much products….. no way.

Neatcrochet Neatcrochet: Omg talk about a misleading header! The woman has normal hair so why put its for thin hair!? I wish my hair was like hers. I have not recuperated my hair pre chemotherapy and I was told 2% of women after chemo have permanent alopecia. My bad luck I am one of those with top thin hair.

Kipper: Ridiculous amount of products! This video Is Not Helpful!

Shirley Cottle: That’s a lot of products

GingerRootable: Ditch that 80's denim jacket. Trying too hard to look young and hip. Just stop. Go to Chico's. Go classy. And the fake perm.. Oi. Her permed hair is too long and looks old. Topix is expensive. This was a waste of time. Topix gives you a tiny, tiny amount for 25.00 Unless you want to spend another 100 to 125 a month I suggest some eyeshadow that matches the hair. Topix is over priced and you can do it yourself.

Kay: Duh!

Gerri Petress: There is no product that will help thinning hair believe me I know I have tried it all. So one day I had enough I clipped it close to my head and there you have it, no more bad hair days. Just wash it every other day lightly dry and go. No hair dryers, curling irons etc!!!!!!!!

Jean: She is too.
