New DYSON HAIR TOOL!

Dyson came out with a new hair attachment for their Supersonic Hair Dryer: flyaway attachment. This new hair tool is supposed to "hide" flyaways with only ONE pass that results with a smooth and shiny finish. How it works is by hiding the flyaways under longer hair with just air. This concept sounds promising and incredible. Let's try this tool out together and see how it performs.

So Dyson came out with a new hair tool., It's a new attachment for fly-aways.. That sounds incredible.. That'S why my hair looks like this.. So hopefully my hair can look something very smooth, very sleek and with no fly-aways. ( laughs ), Let's do it.. I am going to rough dry, my hair., I don't really wan na use the Dyson Airwrap like the round brush or the smoothing brush. Just because I really wan na see what this little bad boy is made from.. Is it really going to get rid of most of my fly-aways and really smooth and sleek my hair out, And we are gon na compare side to side.? So this right here? This is their fly-away attachment., It's $ 39.99., And this is the attachment for the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.. Let'S quickly give my hair a rough dry Okay. So this is my rough dry and you can see that it's not looking super sleek.. It'S not looking extra shiny and smooth, especially like from the mids to the ends of my hair., So I wan na see if we can really give my hair that sleekness and that smooth overall look., So we're gon na do the left side and we're gon na. Compare it to the right., I'm not gon na do anything to the right, because I wan na see what we can accomplish on the left side.. So it has to go like this like down, because this is where the airflow - and this is where the hair is going to attach., So how this attachment works. It basically lifts your longer hairs. Therefore, hiding your fly-aways like underneath your longer hair, which is so fascinating.. It kind of it's kind of mind, blowing honestly.. I think you have to like use it like this., It's kind of awkward using it in my left, hand. (, laughs, ). They recommend using the highest airflow but lower heat settings for normal to medium hair.. If you have very thick hair use a higher heat setting., But if you have fine hair like myself, use a high flow and then the cool shot or just no heat at all., (, hairdryer, whirring, ) Highest air flow, no heat., (, laughs, ) Okay.. Oh, my gosh. Look at how sleek my hair looks.. It looks shiny. Versus this side.. I mean this side also looks good, but this one is just smooth.. Basically what it does. You saw that I was holding it towards the very top. I waited a little bit for the hair to attach itself to this part right here and it basically kind of sucks and holds the hair down. But you also could see the shorter pieces are kind of flying away., They're, picking up and they're kind of going like underneath the longer pieces which is so fascinating.. I don't think it's exactly what I expected. Like. I can still see like some of my hairs like right here, like all these, like the new growth like the baby hair, that has grown out a little bit. Like it's still kind of sticking out, but it's more managed like even towards the top., Like it's more Smooth and it's more even., Like I said, I'm using the highest air flow, but no heat.'Cause, my hair is pretty much dry.. Maybe we could do one heat see if that makes a difference.. Let'S try it. ( hairdryer whirring ) Wow.. That'S actually really smooth., Like I'm. Pretty impressed for, like after my rough dry, that my hair can look this smooth. ( hairdryer whirring ), I mean that looks pretty good. ( hairdryer whirring ). We can see a pretty good difference. Like this side. Just looks a little more smooth and even versus this side still looks a little more fluffy and just not as sleek and smooth.. But I think this right here is like a good attachment once you're done, styling your hair, whatever you're doing., If you're doing like a blowout and then you just wan na go over like the top sections.. I think that's when it's gon na work, the best, especially if you already have naturally curly hair, and you give yourself a really good blow out if you have thicker hair or if you just have really frizzy hair in general. I think this would be a good last step to kind of like seal everything in.. It'S definitely enough for a look like this. Where you just like rough dry., I mean you can definitely see a huge difference. Like even towards the ends like they look. A little more sleek and smooth and not just crazy and you know like no shape happening., But it's not gon na get rid of every single fly-away.. Like I still see my fly-aways right here., Like you see that right, [ Andrey ] Mm-hmm, I do. It gets yeah., It's kind of just chilling there. Like this. I would have to use a round brush to really kind of brush and style my hair through and then go with this right here.. I think that's what I wan na do and I wan na see if it's gon na help and we're gon na, do it on this side right here.. So I'm gon na give my hair a quick little blowout using my Airwrap, the round brush., And I tend to get a lot of fly-aways and just frizz after this. If I don't control it in the right way., So let's give it a go.. I mean it's going to do a really good job towards the bottom, but you'll see a little bit of frizz happening right here, especially with my baby hairs that are regrowing and they're a lot shorter.. There'S a lot of them. ( laughs ), My entire head. They're, like a good, maybe three, four inches long now. I mean you can kind of see it. Like all the little ... Like you see, those All those little hairs. Peeking through. Like it looks thick right. Here. ( Airwrap whirring ), Okay, so I did a quick like rough blowout using the round brush with the Airwrap, and you can see that it provided a pretty sleek smooth finish in the end., But I feel like I would wan na go over with this right Here afterwards to like really smooth and sleek it out, if that's the look, I was trying to go for., So I'm gon na say again. I think this tool is great for people that are giving themselves a blowout, but then they want that extra step to really give that shiny effect and really smooth finish'cause. This, it's actually really good for smooth and super shiny afterwards., Like my hair, is, I feel, like it's super super shiny.. Oh my goodness., Like more shiny on this side than this side.. I mean it's pretty shiny on both sides, but I feel like on this side with just a rough dry and then this on top. I was actually pretty impressed that it did that good of a job., But I think if you're thinking this is gon na get rid of all of your fly-aways. It'S not gon na happen., Like I still see them right here. You know., Like I, still see the flyways. I kind of wan na. Try it on this side, just on the top and see what it's gon na look: like., (, hairdryer, whirring, ) Yeah, it's a great finishing tool.. It just kind of locks; everything in., Oh yeah.. I mean that's pretty good. ( laughs, ) Overall, if you already have the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. I honestly would pick up this attachment., It's $ 39.99. And I think it's a great finishing tool.. I can't stress that enough., It's a finishing tool.. It'S not like a whole tool on its own, where you can just create styles with it.. It'S a great finishing tool to really sleek give your hair that sleek shiny moment you know.! But if you don't have the hairdryer and you're just wanting to get that attachment and then the hairdryer, I think it just depends on what kind of hair you have and what kind of styles you gravitate towards.. If you definitely gravitate towards like a really sleek smooth blowout, then I think you'll really enjoy it., But otherwise yeah. I think you don't need it., I'm gon na leave it there.. Thank you for watching spending time with me and I'll see you in the next one. Very soon., Bye. ( Blows kiss )

Brooke Gustafson: I think this is a game changing attachment for those with disabilities!!!! Because you don't have to twist, turn, or be precise with it at all. Just need extreme patience and it does the work for you! People with a disability would be awesome

Ally Kat: For people saying just use a flat iron, this attachment is meant to use with no heat. It doesn’t flatten the hair or kill the body of your blowout. I don’t think it’s meant for people with thick healthy hair who don’t have to worry about damage or thin hair. It works, I’ve used my friend’s. But even Dyson states that it’s for flyaways (caused by static electricity) not frizz caused by humidity. Personally I don’t think it’s worth an extra $40, but since it comes with their new hairdryer that’s different. My Airwrap was much more of a game changer but it kind of hacks me off that they are charging so much for attachments like the long barrels and this tool after we have already spent $500 on their hair dryers.

starfish8D: I have thick, wavy, crazy hair after drying my hair with the dyson, and with the new attachment, it makes a world of difference! I put it on highest air flow on the highest heat setting. My hair looks seriously smooth, shiny and healthy after I use the attachment, and I only use it on the outer surface layer! you have to try it on your own hair to know the magic.

Ange Pange: I thought this would be overrated, but my mum has really coarse wavy hair and that attachment is great for getting the hair near the nape of the neck. I wouldn't say its vital but it definitely makes life easier when you're not a pro at blowdrying

Lisa: Just got a Dyson (wow) and it comes with flyaway attachment. It's amazing, quickly tames my poofy hair so no need for a flat iron. Fun to use too!

MoonlightStar77: I just got mine today and I’m so glad you are reviewing it! Your hair has gotten so long! I love you and Andre as parents!

Amab75: I have used that tool and it’s fantastic! Shiny, smooth hair in only 7 minutes, including hairdrying. Easier and faster than a flat iron.

Belen G: I'm not really wowed by this product, Dyson needs to come out with a big round attachment like the Revlon one

Beach Waves: I just wish Dyson would come out with big round brush attachment for the airwrap!

Tanja Bastigkeit: My first thought is: It takes a long time to use the tool for seeing the result. Who has the time and the muscles in the arms to dry the hair first and then smoothes it? And then styling. It would take an hour for me to do my hair. A flatiron would be faster.

littlemissmel88: Would love to see how it looked throughout the day. Like you said, it looked shinier and smoother, but still had some flyaways. Would it still look better overall by the end of the day or would both sides be just as fluffy?

Lauren Kennedy: I have to say, that I think your hair looks amazing in the beginning of this video. All wild and natural!! You're so gorgeous, babe!!!

Kalisha J: This is a super neat attachment, I definitely think it's worth the extra step especially if you pair it with a serum.

Chrissy Meri: When you say one side is "a little more sleek and smooth" you definitely meant "a little" lol. I see almost no difference! Your hair is naturally so nice. Let's see this tool on my thick wavy fluffy hair and really put it to the test.

Debbie CS: I just bought the hairdryer with all the attachments for Christmas and this attachment is what I’m most excited about. Using a flat iron makes my hair look flat although sleek. I’m hoping this attachment will give that sleek look but with volume.

Dodo: This attachment is meant to be used as finish to brush the small flyaways into your main hair.

TheArtistMalene: Thanks for a great video. When you use the Supersonic and AirWrap, be aware of the placement of your hand, because covering the filtercover will make the airflow less powerful ;-)

Western NC Girl: Dyson always has really good products.

Amy Robertson: I hope they make a version that goes on the little dryer that comes with the air wrap!

Amber McKeehen: Your hair looks amazing even before you used the tool! I’m jealous!

Katherine S: I have really fine long hair and I get crazy fly aways and this tool looks like something I need! Thank you Vahnna (I know I probably murdered your name sorry!) for always saving me time and money all the time!

Dixie Banner: So very glad I saw your video, explains and demonstrates the use of the fly-away tool so much! I’m going to be more confident using this now.

K Hill: OMG! Your skin looks FLAWLESS!!! The attachment is okay but your skin is the star of this video!

Willow *: This reminds me of the Dyson Air Wrap hack where you dry your hair by putting sections through the inside of the oval “hair dryer” attachment.

Dawn Wilson: You have beautiful hair and don't need to improve it in anyway! I'm definitely not impressed with Dyson products. Way too expensive for me

Audrey Redburn: If I had not seen this video and I saw you on the street after doing this on only one side of your hair, I wouldn't think to myself, wow, she only did one side of her. Crazy girl.

Shelley: My hair is soooooo thick and takes FOREVER to dry and I just got the Dyson hairdryer, and it is soooooo powerful! I’m SUPER impressed. How did I live without it? I was also curious what this attachment was and how to use it, so thank you.

ffaf295: So this tool isn’t really intended to straighten your hair , it’s more of a finishing tool after a blow out with brush to calm the blow dry fly-aways. Cool to see what it’s capable of after a rough dry as well, though. -friendly neighborhood hairdresser

Autumn Feldpausch: No heat is just like using cold water.. keeps the cuticle of hair down instead of heat fluffing it up & or outward. Plus the way you have to use this tool is also encouraging the hair cuticle in the correct direction. Brushing hair when dry and any kind of heat causes frizzing, fraying, breaking, dryness. I've not brushed my hair in years, only the hair dressers who cut & style my hair once or twice a year & I've had many compliments on how healthy my hair is. I have wavy to curly hair.. depending on the day & weather & mood my hair is in.

Stephanie Valentine: I got one for the salon. I prefer high air glow and low heat for texture like ours. But a game changer!

Christiane Sonstwas: The essay reminds me of the "Split-Ender", with which you can shave away split ends without losing hair length. Didn't you also have the SplitEnder in a test? If I'm not mistaken, you have had it and I'm sure that this essay reminded you of this other device too.

Elena L: The best and cheapest way to hide flyaways are a hot comb and a wax stick be light with the wax stick a little goes a long way! If you have oily hair use a dry shampoo after the wax stick! I almost forgot make sure to use a clarifying shampoo on wash day after using the product so there won't be any build up and a deep conditioner ☺️

Mrs Pinball Potter: I never really suffered with fly always until I bought the dyson hairdryer. Making you pay for an extra attachment on top of an already over priced product is a bit much for me. Don’t get me wrong I like my dyson dryer but it’s not worth the money.

JammSideDown: I love all your videos, but will you be doing more hair tool reviews soon? Those are my favourites

Emerald Coppersprite: Hi... Old subscriber here. Love the video. Couldn't help but notice that your hair looks thicker and healthier than before. Would be glad if you could share your hair regimen, supplements, anything you are doing for hair health. Thank you!

Jenna Ann: I would never have the patience for this!

Rosita Díaz Rosales: Please do a natural wavy look. Based on the curly girl method, I think you can give a lot of curl potencial to your hair structure.

Diane Peluso: Your hair looks so beautiful longer!!

Suri Benji: The way this attachment blows the hair down will prevent split ends. It's a game changer FR

Lucas Official: I like the Idea of It & I understand It’s good for people with disabilities maybe but as a hairdresser I feel like the Revlon paddle brush will give a better finish. You will never get sleek hair with a cool setting. Heat breaks the bonds of the hair to create that polished finish

Karin Cope: I have this , it’s amazing, my hair is very thick and mid back past my bra strap , my hair is very smooth, sleek, soft and so much less damaging to your hair . Do your research .

Marisol López: So you would have to blow dry your hair and then blow dry it again really slow with this tool? I’d rather use the revlon one step

Jerri Foster: I think you look beautiful with just straight hair. You look beautiful no matter how you wear your hair, but seeing it just hanging straight, is so nice, and a great change!

Can't stand it anymore: Personally, I like your hair better with some wave and bend... With the right curl pattern product just scrunch and let dry naturally... You'll be amazed how healthy your hair will become when you lay off the heat for a few weeks to months... I never knew I had wavy hair until I laid off heat and used Co-wash instead of sulfates day in and day out... Im able to go 4 days in between washes... My hair and wallet thanks me....

Nina Morrish: I'm personally not seeing enough of a difference to warrant the price tags....in the time it took you to do one side, I could blow dry my whole head and my hair is past the middle of my back in length. Perhaps in person it may be more impressive?☺️‍♀️ Loved the video!! so calming to watch or is that just me??

Terri Nutting: I bought a Dyson hair dryer and it broke within 2 years… and the warrantee was up. I looked up online and several people had the same issue. It wasn’t the filter. Soooooooooooo. disappointed, at that extremely high price point, never again will I take a chance on any of their products.

Penelope Peterson: Looks like DYSON cost a fortune but they knew when priced that it’s a great product and it will sell even with that price point, never quite too.

Robin Brundage: I gotta say, for the cost of an entire tool that could do better a better job in a fraction of the time, this is a ginormous rip off, just like everything else to do with Dyson products.

LG: I feel like it’s just a gimmick. It’s doubling the time of a blowdry. I like sleek but I find when I do sleek hairstyles, the next day it looks lifeless. I just blowdry my hair with a barrel brush to get it straight but volume and a quick run through with straighteners at the ends and a humidity serum does just as good and lasts longer and half the price without all these attachments.

Vicki Zeimen: I don't get it. I like that it doesn't flatten your hair like a flat iron but I think you could do the same thing with a regular hairdryer in half the time. Dyson is just ridiculously expensive.

Gina Palm: Love your makeup look!! So pretty!! Not really impressed with the attachment though.

Melanie Saul: Your hair is gorgeous after your “rough dry”. Both sides look the same. I don’t see the difference that it makes.

HappiMom: I think I'd still rather add some dry oil or finishing spray to smooth out the flyaways.

Kelly Bowen: If dyson could bring out airwrap attachments for the hairdryer I’d be sold! I’m pretty disappointed that I saved and saved to buy that hairdryer then they released the airwrap which would’ve been all the tools I need in one! I contacted dyson to ask for help as I was just out of warranty - they just suggested I buy the airwrap too…..sure….I can spend another £300+ on an identical product!!

Denise Jackson: Love your hair natural!

Ann Johnson: You have beautiful hair eveni when you just let it air dry.

loveadentist: I don't know if there's a special place for requests but I'm DYING for a review on this Dyson knock-off! "The Flawless 5 in 1 Airflow Curler." Do you already have a video for it? If not, would you pretty please consider making one??

MrsLoretta: Your hair is beautiful!! Hugs and Love and Merry Christmas!! Loretta

Stefany Umanzor: This must be the useless hair tool ever. A hair serum and a blow out will give u better results.

Тинни Тар: Milabu: You see, my hair is not very smooth and shiny... Me, dreaming about hair like that 1/3 of my life: :'(

LoolaFly: Your totally right. You dry your hair with whatever brush you like, I use a flat brush and I would get it 80% done and then I would switch to that attachment with heat tho- the hair needs heat to smooth the cuticle down on the shaft of the hair, cold won’t work. And then just go over in sections again for 5 minutes and I think it will then give you super sleek straight hair with no straightening required. What does everyone else think ?

Katherine S: I am loving your hair long! But seriously you look amazing with any length hair make or no makeup. Your breath glows from within! I saw this attachment on graveyardgirls channel and although she's entertaining she takes a long time to just get down to it! So I came here (my go to channel for serious reviews and tips!) And I'm so glad you have a video for this attachment! Happy new year to you and your beautiful family! Cheers Lovely!

Caroline Thornber: I have the stain air dryer and was thinking of buying this extra attachment but I don’t think it’s that good really. Best off with a lightweight finishing oil after straightening. $40 is expensive for an attachment. Thank you for the video

Sabrina Schneider: Thanks for saying at the end that I don't really need it when I don't have the supersonic already, because that's what I needed to hear

Sarah McKnight: Shit I wish my hair looked like yours on a rough dry. I got that Scotts/Irish thick, coarse and wild ass hair. I'm jealous I can't just fluff and go. Beautiful as always Milana!!

Sumerianharp: The longer hair looks great on you

Valerie MacVicar: Please review the T3 airebrush duo. I would love to see this!

Lacey Craig: Wow that is different! But I have remoitoid arthritis and Carple tunnel so this would be amazing!

Lola Pavon: I bought the dyson it can’t handle my workload … also dealing with dyson is a horror they sent me a return label sent back blower p.s. I’m out a blower and 325.00 buyer beware don’t buy from them big mistake so dishonest customer service is a nightmare

Saleita Smith: I love ❤️ the way you edit ✍ your video I love watching your video I’m your biggest fan you make amazing video you make awesome video

Christin Hurtado: Sold! This looks perfect for touch ups!

Karin Pulido: Yo personalmente no ví resultados increíbles con ese aparato

Julia G.: It’s amazing! But it makes my baby fine hair stick straight and flat. Need tips to get volume back without roughing it up again.

Katarzyna Jamroż-Łoza: Game changer, Yeah, I get it. But I've been trying to get Dyson either in Poland or Germany for months. And it't been out of stock

Shen Amily: Why do I feel like this product is designed for perfectionist

Just-me: Don't see it's worth the effort or the cost. Use a hot iron in half the time. Hair still looks frizzy, but only my opinion.

Nora Mero: I love your natural look ....also this attachment is so weird.

Suzi Hazlove: I have disabilities. There no way I'm spending that kinda money on a hair gadget unless I can sit there, and it does ALL THE WORK!

Summer Leo: Dyson is overrated today. Finally talked my partner into getting a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Severely overpriced for the lesser quality of the machine.

Trish H: You need to be Inspector Gadget to do the back of your head!

Mali Brown: Do you think the airwrap flat brush would just give the same result?

Smittenby Invicta: Thank you for the demo of the new tool much appreciated and Merry Christmas

CFC thegreatesttherecanbe: Nope don’t see any difference. With all the gadgets and products in the beauty market, if we adopted all of them to get ready for a night out, we’d need all day

Kathy Doran: I think if you lowered your elbow, could have helped. I've contemplated getting the attachment. I have super wavy curly frizzy hair.

L _: So basically, a gust of wind will undo all your work?

Sharon Shade: I just use a little hairspray for flyaways.

Anna Burns: I preferred your hair with the waves. It looks so nice that way.

Sem k: what would you recommend the airdrop or the supersonic?

Antiques Restoration: The two sides of your hair look exactly the same.

Abby Pierce: Wow that really works!!!

Leticia Duran: I really don’t see any difference. You do have a beautiful hair

Amy D.: Hi, why do you start from top to bottom? Instead of going in order from bottom to top of the head

leann fry: Seems a bit time consuming if you have to move that slowly over your hair xx

Allanah Hickey: Oh my god I wish my hair dried like your “rough dry”

Jaymie Morris: Are you still using the olaplex for your hair?

Lila Ben: An hour later...it looks pretty good!

Melissa Evans: I’m having micro anxiety every time she goes fast through the ends… I’m yelling "slow down on the ends please “ lol

Shannan Minkus: I don’t see the point since in the same amount of time you could use a flat iron and get better results.

Kassie: I don’t see a difference on either side of your hair. I wonder if this should be don’t in sections since the hair below the top layer also shows signs is frizz. Maybe Dyson should keep working in this concept.

l l: Which dyson hair dryer dupe will this fit?
