#summershowerroutine #showerroutine

Today, i am going to show you my summer shower routine for smooth glowing, skin and hair the summertime. My skin tends to get oily and my hair tends to get really frizzy because of the heat and humidity outside the summertime is also when i want my skin to be the most glowy and for my hair to be the smoothest. So there are certain things i do in the shower to achieve that glow and to avoid having frizzy, hair and oily skin also just a disclaimer. This is an extra extra shower routine, like if i have three minutes to shower at the end of the day, then i do not do this, but if i want a long thorough shower, then yes, this is just like my summer. Pamper shower routine. First, i start off by oiling my hair and body, and although this may sound counterintuitive, since my skin gets really oily in the summer, why would i want to then put more oil on top of it, but oiling is actually a great way to remove oils on Your face that your skin naturally produces any dirt that may be on your face: buildup of product or sunscreen or makeup. It'S also a great way to remove dead skin dandruff product buildup on your scalp. Oiling helps to do all of that without drying out your skin. So first i oil, my scalp. It just really helps to remove like any buildup that you might have on your scalp, which is not good to have, because it can lead to increased hair, shedding um and just an unhealthy scalp. Overall then, i washed my hands so that none of the oils were just like any of the dirt or anything on my scalp transferred to my face. I then oil, cleansed my face to remove excess oil makeup dirt buildup stuff, like that. I also have videos on how i do like a traditional oil cleanse on my face, where i do it for like 10 minutes in the shower routine, i'm just doing it for one minute, then i oil cleansed my body specifically my arms and legs, because it just Makes my skin look really glowy, it's perfect for the summer time when you're showing more skin? And yes, i do all of this on dry skin. Before i have even officially started showering like before, i even turn on the water so after oiling, then i am ready to turn on the shower and to help keep my skin smooth and blemish free. I start off by using this tatcha clarifying clay mask. I just leave this on my face. While i'm showering, i don't really worry about it drying or anything like that. In the summer time my skin gets really oily and there's just a lot of buildup of sunscreen and stuff like that, and it's just a great way to sort of reset my skin after, like a long day of reapplying, sunscreen and just sweating and stuff like that, Now to hair care, so in the summer, particularly when it is humid out, i like to reverse wash my hair and yes, my hair is smooth, it is manageable, but it does get frizzy and gets the frizziest when it is humid out and somehow reverse washing gets Rid of the frizz completely when i'm reverse washing, i start off with conditioner, and i apply this all over my hair. When i am washing my hair regularly, i do not condition the top of my hair. I only do this when reverse washing my hair. I leave the conditioner in for about three minutes and while the conditioner is still in my hair, i use a silicone body scrub to exfoliate my skin. I tried the exfoliating mitt and, although i think it does work, it was really rough and it made my skin really really red. I'M sure that the result like, if i just continued to do it the result would be extremely smooth skin. I just did not like the way it felt on my skin, so i just now use this silicone one. It still exfoliates my skin, but it's a lot more gentle. So once i'm done with that step, i then rinse out the conditioner and the face mask, and since this is my reverse, wash routine after i rinse out the conditioner, i shampoo my hair twice, so i only shampoo the roots and i do not condition again after Shampooing, that is just too much for my hair. It would just weigh down my hair way too much if you have hair that tends to get really dry, then conditioning after you, shampoo may be a good option for you. Then after i washed out the shampoo after i shampooed twice, i wash my face using the cerave foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin. I try to wash my face for 60 seconds or i will just double cleanse my face because there's a lot of sunscreen buildup on my face at the end of the day and washing my face for 60 seconds, helps to make sure that all of that sunscreen Is removed so that i don't end up breaking out, because if i just like really quickly wash my face after having applied sunscreen, then i will definitely break out next. I wash my body with a bar of soap. I think bar soap just has a bad reputation and i think it's unwarranted. Personally speaking, it is one of the only things that actually makes my skin feel clean in the summertime. When i am sweating - and i am at the playground with my son - getting in the sand and chasing him around in like the dirt and stuff like that - all the while being covered in sunscreen - i believe this is dial body soap. I know how, as a beauty influencer using dial bar soap on her body, that is just crazy. I'M sure that's like what you guys are thinking, but the goal here is to remove all of the yucky oil sunscreen, sweat dirt off of my body, so that my skin looks and feels smooth and glowy. I make sure to wash everywhere, including behind my ears, which i feel like is a place - that's often overlooked, but there is just a lot of hidden places on your body that can harbor bacteria and sweat, which can make you smell, and you may not even realize It so that is why i make sure to wash everywhere and every nook and cranny of my skin after i use the bar soap. I rinse my body obviously, and i use one of my favorite summer body care products, and that is the tree hut. Coco colada. Shea sugar scrub - this smells incredible and it gives my skin this polished glow. It helps to prepare my skin for shaving, but it also - i don't know it's just like it is amazing and it really really polishes my skin. So i try to have my skin as exfoliated and smooth as possible before shaving, so that when i do shave it's easier to remove the hair and it's just less likely that i will get ingrown hairs or razor bumps. So i shave with the bic, soleil razors and i also shave with conditioner i've been doing this for years. I'Ve talked about it so much in my videos, so i don't even think i need to get into it, but conditioner smooths out my skin and hair, and it just prevents cuts while shaving. It also makes my skin so smooth after rinsing it off. So, of course, this is something that i do in the summertime. I haven't used shaving cream in years, because conditioner is just the best for my skin, at least in the summertime. I shave my stomach in addition to my armpits and legs. Yes, my stomach does get hairy, it's like peach, fuzz sort of, because my hair is dark honestly, when it's not summer time. I don't really do this that often in the summertime, because i'm like sometimes i will wear bikinis or crop tops. I do like to shave. My stomach and then finally, i finish this shower routine off with dove beauty, glowing mango and almond butter body wash soap. That is like such a long name. Personally i just like compared to the bar soap. I wouldn't really categorize this as a soap necessarily like i wouldn't use this on its own. For me, it doesn't really lather what it does for me is. It makes my skin shine and smell really really good. It actually does smell like mango. It'S amazing and i feel like it's just a really great way to end the shower. The scent is just lasting on my skin, and it just makes me feel really refreshed and smooths out my skin. This has been my summer shower routine. I know that this is a very extra shower routine. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video all of the products that i used will be tagged, so you guys should be able to check those out. Thank you. So much for watching and i'll talk to you guys next time.
