Hi guys welcome back to another video. So today is my hair washing day and i'm gon na be oiling my hair and my scalp. So i decided to just film a little video and show you step by step how i oil my hair. What products i use and all that good stuff, so, if you're interested just keep on watching there are so many benefits to oiling your hair. It'S really great for conditioning your hair. It makes your hair more shiny and more manageable. It'S really good for stimulating circulation to the scalp, which is going to help with hair growth and promoting new hair growth. And you know you can use different oils and different herbs infused in the oils to help. You know stimulate hair growth and it's just really relaxing to do, because you know you just give yourself a nice, scalp massage and it's just very pampering and if you're wondering what oils i like to use in my hair, there are so many different oils. You can choose from you can use argan oil, that's one of my favorites jojoba oil. That'S really good! If you have thinner hair because it's actually a wax and it's a lot lighter, but i also like to use it on my hair: olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil. You can do something like a jamaican black, castor oil. This is really great for promoting hair growth, so if you have thinning hair or a lot of hair fall, jamaican black, castor oil or castor oil is really great. Just look for something: that's hexane free and it is a bit thicker. It'S a thick oil, so you want to mix it with other oils. You can just add a little bit into your other oils, but my all-time favorite oil - to use when oiling my scalp and hair is the blue beautify organic amalaki, scalp oil serum. I have been using this for so long and it is my holy grail, scalp oil. So this is more on the pricey side, but it's jam-packed with herbs and oils that are really really great for the health of your hair and scalp. So it has lots of ayurvedic herbs like amalaki, which is amla fruit, brahmi fautai. It has essential oils, like rosemary and lavender, to help with hair growth and yeah. It smells so amazing, it's all organic. It is my favorite and i do have a coupon code for all of bluebeautify's website. It'S holistic habits. 15. So that can save you a bit of money, but i highly highly recommend this, but if you like to do it more of a do it yourself, you can also infuse your oils with different herbs. I have a couple videos for do-it-yourself, hair oils and i'm planning on making a lot more in the future. So let's get started with oiling my hair, okay. So first i start by just brushing my hair out, and this distributes my hair's natural oils from my scalp to the ends and i'm using a wooden brush, because that's really really great for distributing your hair's natural oils and i'm actually having a terrible hair day. Today. I don't know if you cannotice, but i have lots of conditioner residue in my hair. I somehow didn't rinse it out enough the other day, so my hair is just feeling really limp. That'S why i'm cleaning it today! So i'm going to take my blue beautifully amalachi scalp oil, serum and it has a nice little dropper like that - and i just use this all over my scalp and put a little bit in my ends, but i mainly focus this on my scalp since it's you Know expensive and then i use another oil like argan oil in my ends, so i just take the dropper and i just apply it straight onto my scalp using the dropper and the dropper just helps me get directly onto the scalp, and i received a comment from Someone once um and they're like oh it's disgusting, that you use the dropper directly on your scalp, but you know what i'm the only one using this so to me it just it doesn't really matter. I'Ve never had an issue with it. I like to put on maybe four to five squirts in my ends. I'M just gon na be putting on some argan oil. Take some pumps of that and just run it through the ends of my hair. My hair is getting so long. You guys it's past my butt and i might take a couple more pumps just go like that, get my hair, nice and saturated, and if you have a problem with washing oil out of your hair, you can use less i'm kind of saturating my hair today, but Sometimes i'll just do a really light oiling and that makes it easier to wash out but, as you can see, i'm just kind of massaging my scalp with my fingertips. This helps bring the circulation to the scalp and strengthen the hair follicles, and i do have this little device. This is the brio scalp massager, it's an electronic scalp massager and you can just massage your scalp with this. It feels so nice and you can flip your hair over if you want and do kind of the inversion hair method. If you want to do that, i have a whole. I have a whole video on doing the inversion, hair method for hair growth. So you can check that out to see my results but yeah you can go like this. I just take my time and work. The oil into my scalp distribute it all along my hair and my ends just usually suck the oil up right away. So i always add a little bit more in the ends and the ends tend to be drier because your scalp, you know it produces those um natural hair oils, but when your hair is super long, sometimes those oils don't distribute to the ends of your hair. So your ends tend to get drier a lot easier, and then i have a designated little wooden brush that i use just to brush my hair with the oil in it. Some people say: don't brush your hair with oil in it, but this just helps distribute it all. Throughout my hair and as you probably noticed, i used the oil straight from the jar, but you can warm your oils up. So you can do that by just putting your oil in a double boiler and getting it a little bit warmed up and that's going to help it penetrate even deeper. But the reason i didn't do that is because i do have this hot heads. Little thermal hair cap - it just has flax seeds in it and you just warm it up in the microwave, and then you put this over your head after you have your oil on and then that'll just keep your hair nice and warm. Let those oils penetrate even deeper, and another thing you can do is if you have a sauna or a steam room, you can just go into the sauna or the steam room and let that oil penetrate even deeper and then once my hair is saturated in the Oil - i just put it in a little twisted bun and secure it with a claw clip. You can also put your hair in a braid, and i leave this on a minimum of 30 minutes. I usually will leave it on for a couple of hours and just do some housework, or else i will sleep with it overnight. If i want a super deep conditioning treatment and when i do sleep with the oil in my hair, i like to wear a cap like this to bed, and this one is perfect for me. It took me a while to find one that was big enough to fit all my long hair in so this cap is perfect for me, i can link it down below and it's not made of silk or anything. So i don't have to worry about it. Getting ruined from the oil, i can just wash it in the washing machine, and it's really easy. So i'll usually just leave my hair down and place it in this cap or put it in a braid and place it in this cap and just sleep like that, or else you can also use a designated pillow case, something that you don't mind getting ruined with Oil potentially and just have that for nights when you want to sleep with oil in your hair. So lately that's what i've been doing, just sleeping with the oil in my hair overnight and then the next morning i wake up and wash it out and if you're wondering how i wash the oil out, i just use my regular kalia, shampoo and conditioner, as you Might know i do like making the do-it-yourself ayurvedic herbal shampoo, which i have a video on, but i don't use that to wash the oil out of my hair, because i find it's a bit too gentle. So i just use kalia, shampoo and conditioner, and then i just let my hair air dry after to really give it a break and help it be as healthy as possible, and i try to oil my hair at least once or twice a week so yeah. That is pretty much my hair oiling routine. I hope you enjoyed the video and learned something you can follow me on instagram holistic habits. If you haven't already, i try to be active on there every single day and i've been posting lots of cool hair photos and hair videos on there but yeah. I love you guys. So much and i'll see you in my next video bye,

Monica B: Let’s be real...she has amazing hair genetics.

Moko Sam: Edit: Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement! My hair is still falling out but my thyroid health is getting better! I was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I went from having hair like yours to thinning stringy hair, thinning brows, and lash fallout. It's been so soul crushing, but I am now going to start receiving treatment. I know my hair will never be back the way it was, but I'm hopeful my hair will be healthy again. Our hair is a good indicator of our health. Please everyone take care of yourselves!

Vindya Rajasekara: My hair was at my arm pit length when I started watching your videos. Now it's been 10 months and my hair is almost at my hips. My hair improved in terms of length, thickness, healthy scalp and healthy ends. It is all because your inspiration and your great tips. Thank you soo much Sarah!

eady08: Her voice … so calming. Also, I realize the length of her hair is incredible, but I’m also blown away by how thick that braid was?! Amazing. She’s blessed!

khalid Almehdar: I like how she says "I'm having a terrible hair day" girl trust me your terrible hair day is my good hair day lmao

pat: If you guys have a problem washing out the oil, you can use a conditioner for the first wash. It kinda binds with the oil so it's easier to wash next with a tiny bit of diluted shampoo. Use something without silicones as you need to massage it on your scalp too. Hope it helps!

Jamie Lynn | A Mom's Life: Am I the only one that is super ecstatic this girl is still making epic videos about her hair secrets? I'm trying to grow my hair out and obviously you seem like you have some viable information to help. Thanks!!

Amber Ottersberg: ''im having a terrible hair day" girl your hair is beautiful!!!

LIL'CINNAMON ROLL: Your videos bring me so much happiness ! Thank you for brightening up our day, Sarah <3 (Btw,, congrats on 1M!!)

Jonathan Tash: Of all the hair care videos I watched, yours gave the most information per minute. You stay focused on what you want to talk about, don't force yourself to emote, and it's clear you know what you're doing.

Anaëlle Gouvier: I have purchased this oil thanks to you a few weeks ago and oh boy I don't regret it ! I have no idea if it's all because of this oil but I can say that I feel my hair being more thicker, fuller and healthier. I had a few empty spots around my temples area that were very clear and now I have a lot more baby hair growing and I'm so happy about it ! Definitely worth trying ! Can't wait to buy another bottle !! Merci Sarah, huge love from France <3

Rebekah McMorris: Thank you for the discount code I’m super excited to see how my hair journey goes with incorporating oiling!!

India Hicks: Loved this video Sarah! Your hair is getting so long now, it’s beautiful! ❤️ I’ve been wondering - what do you do to prevent headaches from the weight of your hair, if at all? My hair is thick like yours and is almost tailbone length and it’s getting almost too heavy I’ve got a haircut booked in on Wednesday and am tempted to get a Bob love from the uk xxx

Noor Ali: I love you and congratz on 1m you deserve it ❤️!! Thank you so much your literally my inspiration for long hair and whenever I want to cut my hair I would just always watch your videos because I know I will regret cutting it

Candice Sirju: Using the dropper to "inject" the oil unto the scalp is GENIUS!! I have watched so may videos where they section the hair and apply to each section... to me time that's so time consuming and tedious. I am so glad you shared this.

Natia: Your videos make me feel like I'm getting a spa treatment. Very therapeutic.

anne: I love your videos so much! We have the same hair color/texture so it's helpful to see what works for you. On my second bottle of the Blue Beautifly scalp oil <3.

Angharad Lerryn: Literally *just* bought hair oil for this exact purpose haha, perfect timing absolutely love all of your videos, they're so calming to watch xx

Ewelina Kaznowska: You should try using a silicone free conditioner to emulsify the oil, otherwise it's going to be nearly impossible to rinse out. Also, another good tip is putting the oil on top of a base. For example use aloe gel all over the hair and then the oil on top of that. Oil doesn't actually have a moisturising effect on the hair, it just fills and smoothes it out. If you put a moisturising element like the aloe then the oil will lock in the moisture and give much better results. After the aloe and oil rinse the hair under warm water to get the majority of the oil out, then use the conditioner all over to emulsify, then wash the scalp and voilla! I've completely transformed my hair using these tips :) Try it out! x

Juan Hallipano: I would love to see her do a perfect high ponytail tutorial!! Love her hair!!

Richelle Lewis: Your videos are always so well done and calming your demeanor would be perfect for ASMR

Grace Panagapko: Thank you so much Sarah for posting this video. Can’t wait to try your routine since I haven’t bin able to find one that suits my hair type. Love you lots♥️ stay safe

MA: I'm sitting here with oil in my hair and this video gets recommended to me Love castor oil. Helped me much with hair growth on my eyebrows ♥️

Peeta's Burnt Bread: There's an oil exfoliating method as well where you scrub oil on the skin of the scalp right before your wash the hair. When you come out, it feels like it's smoother and cleaner because the oil gets rid of dead skin cells. Just thought it was worth mentioning because it actually works

Raman Deep: Who else want a whole spa day video from Sarah on achieving 1M .... Btw lots of congratulations.... You really deserve this ✌️

MaryAnn Ann: Love you’re having these videos again! Would you consider making an updated skincare video? I know you mentioned you don’t do oil cleansing every day anymore, so it would be nice to see what things you have changed and products you use for specific skincare needs :) Also, I think the person referring to how you put the dropper on your scalp associated it with people putting their dropper on the skin when using the face serums? I think it’s then when people say that you should just hold it directly over your skin to not transfer any bacteria to your face serum. I think the scalp is less sensitive to those things and it shouldn’t matter :)

Jaimary Jaimes: Looovee watching your videos Sarah!! <3 BIG fan! You have helped me to research more about health in general and learn more about products for the hair and body, especially skin. I started the oil cleansing method because of you hehe, and I love it. I was wondering if you could make a video of your wooden utensils, I have wanted to start using more earthy products you know and reusable. Lots of Love. Take care :)

Nadia Salwary: You are truly beautiful Sarah! I love all of your videos and I'm kinda ✨OBSESSED ✨with your videos and of course with your hair. Keep doing what you do because it helps a lot of people!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rosa May: CONGRATS ON 1MILLION! So happy for you! I love your videos so much!

CheekyMonkeyGirl: She looks like a true Maple Bunny! She's so naturally gorgeous that doesn't even wear a foundation. Love her so much.

Chlo Louise: Looking so graceful, love your videos so much always look forward to them! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge

samani: So I used to have mid back length hair, then I discovered her channel! Her bad hair day was my best hair day! I tried like one of her routine and it's been like a year and now my hair is like tailbone length, so from then I started following her routines!

Tineru Harlem: Every time she lifts her hair I get really impressed by how long, thick and healthy it looks

Karley Moore: Grapeseed oil is amazing if you have low porosity hair. Just wanted to throw it out here in case anyone else is like me and can't use coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, etc. because they're too heavy or don't work for your hair.

Penny Pike: So glad to see this video missed you Sarah!! In the summer I will sit out in the sun with my hair treatments on my head for about 10 minutes

Hilma Immanuel: Yaaaay congratulations for 1 million subscribersyou deserve it. The only girl I know who is consistent with her hair and her oils. She has beautiful thick hair. Very inspiring videos.

sєʀєηα µsαgɨ тsµкɨησ ☾: Yay a new video!! Your hair videos are such an inspiration for my own hair growth journey. ✨

Cinnamon Girl: I do agree that the type of oil we use also end up affecting hair health along with the massage. I started to see positive impact with hairfall immediately when I used Kama Ayurveda's Bringadi Thailam oil. This is an oil prescribed in Ayurveda for a lot of purposes. I like to sleep with the oil in my hair too!

a49: Also i only recently started to realise that brushing distributes your hair oils!! Makes so much sense and now whenever i apply oil in the morning and before bed I'm sure to do it BEFORE brushing my hair (or brush, oil, brush), helps so much! edit: ESPECIALLY for my ends!!! they always felt so straw-like and frizzy i thought it would be like this forever i really think this is what helped for them to finally be softer

Jennifer Medina: Sarah keep on doing what you doing we all need your guidance and you look so beautiful ☺️!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

helana: I use a mixture of castor oil, coconut oil, neem oil and a spray of moon water. It made my hair thicker and I am in love with my braid. My goal is to reach your healthy long hair ✨ and I also have started brushing my hair with a wooden brush and omg I love it

Henry's Mama: I am in love with your videos! The aesthetics are so calming and it inspires me to care for myself better. Can you please post a video about how you dry your hair? Do you ever use heat? What do you do in the cold months with wet hair?

ALittleRedBird: I don't think anything you do can ever be disgusting!! You're so beautiful, inside and out

Mikey Sin: I've been watching your videos for years! Thank you for all your knowledge and good energy! Sending Love from Toronto!

Mumu: Her Videos are so soothing and calm Love it and so helpful❤️

Magi V: Not only is your hair incredibly long and healthy, but it's also so thick. I think my hair is thick and healthy, but your hair makes me downright jealous, in a good way! Sounds like I can learn a thing or two from your routine.

marian B: Your hair is so beautiful...I think I found your channel about 6 years ago, and your hair is just as lovely as it was back then. I also liked your video on natural sunscreens. Thank you!

Howzit Lo: You are quite Literally the reason i started doing my hair care!

lvs: I’ve been watching your channel since 2014. So glad to see you finally reached 1M subscribers! Congratulations!

Solongo: I had really long and thick hair before but in September 2019, after hormonal changes (contraception) and lack of iron (+lot of stress I guess), I had a massive fall (I think I lost almost the half of it). After I cut it really short and now i let them grow; but almost 2 years after they continue to fall and break, I don’t understand..I will have to check my iron, hormones and thyroid again but I don’t know what to do more (I have taken vitamines, putting oil, using healthy shampoo without sulfates and silicones..) I’m kind of desperate to see all the hair that fall out regrow again and becoming thick and healthy as they were before, but now they are still breaking and falling I cry at each shower when I still see all the hair on the floor 2 years after Idk if anyone has had the same problem and has found a solution and see her hair regrow but it would give me hope !

anon: Watching you feels like I'm watching ASMR ♡ Your voice is so soothing for me.

Presley Jade: Her voice is so calming like I could listen to her talk forever

Charmi Faena: I know what i'll be trying out this weekend now! Thank you so much this is so helpfull! <3

Morgan Blake: I really love my jet black , long thick hair , but for a while here my hair falls out more than normal, the doctor says it's a lot of stress. I always use a blend of 10 oils with black castor, argan, jojoba and amla being my favorites. I would like to see a video of how much hair it is normal to lose on a daily basis. Please.

Cynthia S: I use 5 spoon coconut oil + 5 spoons clarified butter , wait for an hour and wash with mild shampoo. It is really good deep conditioning method. I do it once a week. My hair turns out so smooth, manageable and awesome. Hope you try this method. Love from India :). Congratulations on 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS Sweetie :)

Nancy Davis: Beware of that blue beautifly scalp oil. I used it for a while and it caused extreme dryness on my ends, noticeable breakage and brittle split ends. The company told me it was probably due to the essential oils. Just be very careful with this product. It caused significant damage to my hair.

Hair Science 101: Yes!!! Oil is super important for healthy and Shiney hair. On my hair wash days I also put lots of oil as I do not want to strip my hair from all oils. I did a video on my Channel as well with my hair wash routine❤️

Priyanka's Diaries: after so long , a hair video from you sarah. good to see. ❤️

Green Life In Dublin: Thank You for this beautiful reminder, I do not oil nearly enough! Love Your videos

Tendou Satori: ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Great video as always, I’ve learned a lot from your videos ^^ Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Maisha Rahman Esha: Hey Sarah! Could you please recommend some natural conditioners for hair after shampooing, natural as in easily found at home and affordable? Like immediately after shampooing, because I don't use a conditioner after shampooing and haven't found much through my research. I use lemon water after shampooing and not really sure if it works as a conditioner, it feels great though. Almost everywhere, it either says what to use after conditioning to hold the moisture in or things for deep conditioning but still using the conditioner after shampooing and I'm just tired of it. Hoping to get answers here : ) !

Hannah: I always took my deep conditioner or hair masks to my gym and put them on just before the steam room. Love that nice warm hair mask feeling

A Simpson: You can also mix your perfect potion and put it in one of those condiment squirt bottles (you know, like the yellow and red ketchup and mustard bottles... but I get the clear kind at Walmart) so you can clean them between uses. I also use them for shampoo so I can get it only on my scalp.

Rey: Omg! I love ur videos They are so therapeutic and relaxing They’ve even changed my life in many ways! Random question: How many strands of hair do u lose per day?

A S: Just found your channel cause I was looking for reviews on the Calia hair care line. I have eczema and my scalp has suffered a bunch. I tried a bunch of products that claim to have no sulfates, parabens etc. I just washed my hair tonight with Calia lime for dry hair and I’m hoping it helps!! I do have a question about when you do the ACV rinse; I tried it but could not get the smell out of my hair. I do have high porosity hair so I feel like that is contributing. Any recommendations?

Hannah Shafi: I wouldn’t recommend brushing your hair immediately after oiling. Use your fingers to distribute the oil towards the ends of your hair. My hair fell out in clumps when ever i used a brush. For the longest time i couldn’t figure out why then i discovered hair follicles are the weakest after massaging the scalp hence more prone to fall out/breakage.

Mr - power Sami: Hi Sara long time no see .Glad to see you with your amazing hair .

Nim Dailoth: Hello!!! I love your videos, they're so relaxing and motivates me to give more love to myself. Do you do exercise? What kind of exercise you like to do? It would be awesome if you share it with us! ☺️

Laraibhennaandcrafts: wow this is such a calming and lovely well explained video... would you need to do conditioner after leaving oil on hair overnight? or do you only need conditioner when you leave oil for a couple of hrs only?

Abigail Knowles: Been using coconut oil on my hair ever since I saw your first video on uses for coconut oil

Shef & Ben: Love this. Definitely will try it! My hair could use some more moisture.

Elsa Rhae & Barron: I love each and every one of your videos!!

Fatima Riaz: When she was massaging her scalp I was almost feel sleepy how calm is this

Syeda Tayyaba Begum: Hello Sarah.. After watching your videos on skincare, haircare (shampooing and oiling), night skincare routine and all the stuffs, I was just wondering.. how can you manage to be so particular about it with a busy lifestyle? Like, I too used to do, but since I got a job and with my tuition classes after the office hours, I really find it hard to keep up with the hair and skincare routine which I used to follow. It's just once in a while nowadays. I would suggest you to make a video, like more of a vlog, from the time to get up and to going off to sleep, like, 3-4 vlogs to show how you manage all this it will be really helpful for other working people like you, to manage it.. P. S. Your videos work as ASMR to me

Courtney Derouen: The Amalaki oil she recommends had absolutely the BEST ingredients! If you don’t mix your own oils and ingredients then I highly recommend Bluebeautify oil.

Lesley Elder: Beautiful hair! Love your hair videos

Lucy Elliott: I have eczema on my scalp so I feel oiling my hair might be a good idea. Do you have any recommendations for what oils would be helpful for this and having fine hair?

Diana Fuentes: Hey Beauty! I got a question! Would you recommend avocado oil to do scalp massages? Could I used it for that??? I would appreciate your answer! Xoxo! Regards from Colombia

Smiles: I got the bluebeutify oil! I gave in after seeming for so long. It's worth buying ! Thank you also made the flaxseed gel !

Deina: My hair used to be so long and thick during childhood and teenage years, and hated it, I always wanted thin hair. Now it has become thinner, and I miss my thick hair. It's still long though, and it grows long after a year even if I cut it short, but I can't seem to find the reason why it's breaking so much. Perhaps it has become permanently damaged by straightening, or maybe it's just genetic. My mom also had very thick hair in the past, and her hair has become very thin too. Maybe I need to make an appointment at the hairdresser :/

LaLuna: Its absolutely fine if the dropper touches your scalp if you're the only one using it.... I apply oil just like that too.....and i never had an issue❤️

ShanDomi: I totally disagree with that person that told you not to brush the oils through your hair! You are most definitely right that brushing the oils through your hair helps to distribute them from roots to tips

Blue Skye: I used to put oil in my hair every week as well, but when i wash it and the day after i notice so much hair falling out! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but i stopped for now because i don't want my hair to fall out too much... Do you have any advice for that?

Melissa Bojorquez: Which oil would you recommend for strengthening your hair?

JiMins LAchIMolAlA Is FaMouS ThaN HaTers: She and her hair both are beautiful and her voice is so soothing ❤❤

Alfiya Sangam: You are awesome Sarah... God bless you... Keep making such helpful videos for us.. Love u❤❤❤❤

Hristina Krasteva: My hair falls a lot when I oil my hair. Any ideas what’s causing it?

Sara H: Ooooh!!! Congratulations on 1M! My hair is very long but i always braid it. I struggle with keeping it tangle free :'D I wonder how you do it?

Peelu the cutie: Congratulations on crossing 1 million, u very well deserves it..... Kudos

princesa.vida246: I love all your video’s it helps me get rid of stress and healthy hair and better sleep

Stefanie Romay: Genetics play a factor because I've seen many women with hair length like this and do not look like this. Her hair is thick and strong. Just because you grow your hair out to this length doesn't mean your hair will look like hers. It can get very thin and ratty looking especially at the ends. She had fantastic hair.
