You guys are gon na think, I'm weird, but until now I've been washing my hair with my bare hands, I know disgusting. Do you really think I want to touch my hair with the same hands that I use to dig through garbage disposals for morsels of food? All day now I don't have to thanks to a product I saw advertised on Instagram meet the Scylla scrub. This is a shampoo, massage scalp comb brush. You know what I'm talking about. If your browsing habits or anything like mine, then you've already seen these advertised in your Instagram feed again and again and again, I've seen people attributing a lot of different, healthy hair benefits to this product, and I just caved in and had to get it we're. Taking this hair accessory and putting it to the test, hopefully it's not as threatening as it looks, stay tuned for another installment of trying Instagram products, hello, television, viewers, my name is Nick. Thank you so much for joining me once again on my channel for another trying Instagram product. This is the playlist in which I take those products that are advertised to us and our Instagram feeds and I buy them and then together we take a journey into the shower into my hair, all over my life, whatever it takes, so that we can figure out If these products are worth our money, let's see how we feel about this shampoo scrubber that I had seen online in many different places, but really wasn't considering buying it, because it was just not on my radar for whatever reason until I got a comment on one Of my previous body, scrubber review videos by Marlo Hutchinson, who asked me to try the scylla scrub and see if it works well, Marlow today's the day we figure it out for ourselves, but first make sure you give this video a big thumbs up. If you want to see even more trying Instagram product videos and, more importantly, I would love to have you click that subscribe button right over here. That way, you never miss new videos from me. I upload new ones every week. Let'S just take a quick look at some of the ads that I've seen advertising this product. It says that this will exfoliate and cleanse your scalp to boost hair growth, eliminate dandruff and get rid of scalp troubles by gently lifting away cells and impurity and increasing blood flow. Well, I happen to work in the hair care industry, and I do know that increasing blood flow to your scalp can improve hair health in a lot of different ways. I certainly wouldn't expect it to make hair grow thicker or like cure, thinning, hair or anything like that. But I say something: that's massaging your scalp regularly and exfoliating in a gentle way. It could be healthy to incorporate into your hair care routine. But frankly, I just always feel like I need to use my fingernails while I'm watching my hair cuz, I don't brush my hair with a comb regularly, so I wish I had some sort of, and sometimes I want that, massage a scrub that you get at the At the hairstylist, I look crazy now that I'm doing all this hair action, I need a haircut so bad, but a Scylla scrub says that it's $ 36 on the website, but it's constantly on sale for $ 15.99. Also, you can get it for like zero dollars. On Amazon, something that looks very similar and might be the exact same thing, I really don't think there's anything less to do, but just jump in the shower and slather some shampoo on. But I am gon na do a little bit of an experiment, because I'm curious I'll be using a regular shampoo with sort of ingredients that help it lather up. Then I'm gon na use the brand that I work for is a shampoo which is free of sodium lauryl sulfate, which is a lathering ingredient. I figured that way. We can get a feel for how this is gon na work, whether you're using a traditional, shampoo or a natural shampoo, since people are equally as likely to be using one or the other these days, let's take a shower all right, Sylla scrubbers, it's time to hop In the shower and test out, this massaging shampoo brush X how I'm gon na pronounce it massaging. I will say that these are softer than I thought they would be, but not that much. You know they still feel a little rigid, but I think that's gon na be a good thing to get in there and friction. You know what I'm saying: I'm trying a new natural deodorant by the way not sold the last time we took a shower together. I was testing out the boy body scrubber, I'm still using it everyday. You can check out that video in the link below the water in my apartment takes forever to heat up. If any of you know the number to my landlord, can you tell them? Okay, I'm getting in have to get wet, who you gon na call ghostbusters is Bert, I'm cold by the way, I'll start with my favorite shampoo, that is not all-natural. It'S from alterna Brandon used to work for the daily detoxifying shampoo. This is an old bottle. I think they call it something different. Now, that's more shampoo than I normally use. I don't know why, when I'm on camera, I suddenly like a goop, so it product into my hands it's just showing off anyway. The shampoo is in the hair. I'Ve got my Scylla scrubber, let's just go in oh yeah, that has a nice feel to it for six bucks or whatever this was in the shower. I'M always doing that with my fingertips like gouging out my scalp, because I feel like I really want to work. It in, but this is making it so much less effort. I just glide it on, and I can feel it stimulating my scalp and in the lathering of the shampoo really quickly and nicely he's so slick he's. So suave call me miko suave, yes, oh god, it's in my eye. Let'S see if it's equally as good at rinsing we're clean we're rinsed, we're happy next we're gon na give it a try with my favorite all-natural shampoo, which is naturally from hair loopies. It doesn't lather as much because it's made from all natural oils and extracts there's no sulfates or detergents either. So I'm gon na work that through my hair, you can see it suds up, but it's a looser foam and now we're gon na go in that. Actually, ladders up a lot easier than what I'm using just my hands. It gives you a much more luxurious sort of lather. This shampoo also has peppermint oil in it her scalp circulation, so this brush seems to be kind of activating more of that peppermint oil and I feel it really cool giving you gray, hair fantasy. Do you live for it? Alright, we're rinsing Wow. If there's one thing, I really learned over the past year its how to tastefully take videos of myself in the shower I'm tasteful she's, so tasteful she's, so classy she screams elegance. You would love every inch. Okay, let's go dry off what you think. Oh okey-dokey smokey, that was a good shower experience. I got ta say right off the bat. My scalp definitely feels like more thoroughly cleaned than when I normally washed with just my hands, because there I feel, like I'm, definitely not hitting as much of my scalp with just my fingertips. This guy is covering surface area left right and center, and just doing this swirling motion you like easily hit every single part of your scalp and again I was so shocked to see how well the natural shampoo lathered that shampoo does have a certain amount of lather To it, ordinarily, but not as thick and luscious as I got with this, that really helped improve the sensory experience of a shampoo that I already love anyway. I will say that once I got out of there, this came off and I'm not sure that it was supposed to because it took a long time to get it back on. So I would just say, be careful when you have this in the shower, because you don't want to drop it. I wouldn't necessarily say that you need to go and get the real Scylla scrub or whatever is being advertised to you on Instagram. Just take yourself over to Amazon and get the cheaper one. I got this one in a two pack and I gave the other one to my coworker. I can't imagine that these bristles are some type of revolutionary other silicone. It just said silicone in the ad, so I think everyone's selling the same thing. That being said, if you're looking for a like improved shampoo experience, if you have short hair and you're not constantly brushing it like somebody with longer hair might be, then you might like this, because it's gon na get that scalp circulation, that you are missing from your Routine in the shower, so for me, that's a great solution and it's very easy, especially knowing that it's gon na make the shampoo kind of faster, because it's just like I'm a happy camper. This is approved by me. What do you guys think? Do you know that feeling of wishing you could have more scalp stimulation? Have you used this for a period of time and seen a difference in the quality of your hair? We know in the comments below I'm very intrigued, to find out also make sure you give this video a big thumbs up. If you want to see even more trying Instagram product look, how white my shoulders are yeah, you like it um. Pengaana: You’ve instantly convinced me. I have really thick hair and deal with a lot of dandruff so I’ve been interested in this product already but to hear you give it a good review means I definitely should try it out!

Melissa White: I have long thick curly hair and I just bought one of these. Oh my heavens this is the best thing I have ever bought, it doesn't get tangled in my hair, it actually detangles and it feels amazing!! I got it for $3 on Amazon and I'm so happy!!

Dave H: My usual braid stylist canceled and I was forced to go to a new shop. She shampooed my flaky head and commenced to scrub my scalp with this ...Damn! Let my scalp refreshed and it felt great

Dayne: “If your browsing habits are anything like mine you’ve probably seen this in your feed again and again and again” So much truth in that statement. Holy man.

G R: Brilliant. Bought one on Amazon and use it for my oil treatments and shampoo without sulfates. My scalp tingles and breathes after this. So it feels. I've also noticed less hair loss. My hair is frizzy curly and it there is a much better feel to it. Not harsh on your scalp...Just a lovely massage.

Nabeel Akif: Been using a cheaper one off Amazon and I only use it with shampoo. Never on dry hair and never on wet hair without shampoo. However I noticed a lot of my thinning hair getting caught in between the bristles and it is quite worrying.

Michael Cordero: Hey, Ok so it’s been months since you made this video, how is the product treating your hair and scalp now? Do you still feel like it’s worth it? I’m still debating to get it since I have dry itchy scalp. Thanks for the help!

alo: i appreciate you testing with a lathering shampoo and a more natural nonlathering

Holly: This is my first video of yours, and wow, your personality is so amazing! I want to be friends with you. You’re naturally entertaining to watch! Love it. And thank you for this wonderful review!

Raul Sanchez: do you still use this? and do you notice if your hair got thicker or thinner? I'm kind of skeptical of getting more hair caught in the shampoo brush itself than with fingers, thanks in advance!

Maddy Z: I am so happy I found your channel ❣️ So excited to see you grow and to keep watching your channel ❣️

Elise B: Just ordered this and THEN decided to watch reviews... happy to see you liked it! Lol

Jennifer Yates: LMAO. thank you for a great laugh less than 1 minute in. I don't know why saying you've been washing your hair with your own hands was so funny hahhahahah.

Its_destruggle: I have one of these! It’s great for when your hair is dirty and your scalp hurts

Savannah: The reason I got one is because I have weak arms and they get really fatigued trying to scrub, so I felt like the silicone and soft spikes would help me get more done with less effort. Also they're easy to hold so I don't have to be so tense.

GThinks 印尼小賴: You've got such a great personality!

Tanja dalsø: Why did I not discover you earlier?! You are so naturally funny I love it! Definitely subbed

JD Raider: I might get myself this thing, not because im scared of my my own hand (who are these people, dont you sanitize our own hand)...but I will definitely buy because it reduce my finger work while shampooing.✌

Silvia Cerritos: I bought the amazon cheapy one and it works amazing!

Jane W: Omg i lov this please keep trying insta products!

En.V: So I got the ad on Instagram for a week or so now... I went to the website and I'm like "wow this looks sketchy... is this even real? How good could this even be? Use your fingers?! How stupid.." And I find this video.. and I'm about to buy 2 ‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

AnimosityKate: I had to search through your videos to find this one because I got a Facebook ad for Maison Bath that used a clip from this video in it. I did a double take and thought "Is that Nick?". And yup! They've stolen part of your video and put it in their ad. Sketchy af.

Thekla: You can get this for 3 dollar on wish and Aliexpress. I am so sick of this dropshipping shit on Amazon. Nowadays I a looking right at wish whenever I see a weird ad...

Thom Rigter: Don't know if you'll read this, but do you think it would also work with thin hair?

Nini L.: I used this on both wet and oiled hair. My hair sheds too much.

Tony: I'm going to get one for myself and one for my barber to use on me. this one shop I went to ..a few times this one lady washed my hair , had to be my grandmothers age like 75. I remember she was a bit rough.. She would shampoo me once using her hands, rinsed me out ,then shampooed me again using a shampoo brush,, but back then, I thought they were a bit too sharp , they were plastic spikes .. Something you'd use on your cat.. after the second shampoo and rinse she put conditioner on combing it with the same brush close to my scalp.. This looks like it would be so much more comfortable.
