#AloeVeraGelForHair #AloeVera #AloeVeraPrePoo

Yeah, so here is the first video in my update on how I am washing my hair. Now I decided to break it up into two videos, the first being how I pre poo and I'm going to follow it up with how I wash my hair. So today I am doing how I pre poo - and this is - I love this method. My hair has been loving it originally. I was pursuing with water, aloe vera juice and sweet almond oil, and I came across this woman's video and she was kind of sharing like her indian secrets, where she used fresh aloe vera gel on her scalp and then massaged in with oils. So I decided to try her method and I loved it. So I kind of adapted her or his focus is mostly on the scalp and I mixed in what I was in before, which is really great for the rest of my hair. Like my hair strand and my end now, it's a complete routine. That has just been amazing for my hair. Now focus is, on the end, the shaft of my hair, as well as my scalp, so it is really a full pre-poo routine. It works for any hair type, it is okay, so I really want to take the time to explain it in detail for you guys, so we have a whole video dedicated to it. That'S how amazing it is so anyway, I'm just going to get on with the routine, so you guys can see what I do. I just every single time I wash my hair, and this is actually done on the night before I decide. I want to wash my hair, so I'm doing this to my hair and then I sleep in it and then the next day is my wash day so yeah every week. Do it the night before you wash I'm just hoping that I didn't miss anything hope you guys enjoy the video and I hope it helps first things. First, we're going to prep our aloe plant. Of course you can use packaged aloe vera gel or the liquid, but nothing compares to fresh from the leaf. If you can find it trust me, I notice the difference and I've been using packaged aloe juice for years. Aloe vera helps promote healthy hair growth by removing dead skin cells on your scalp. That can clog your pores. It also helps to balance the pH of your hair and scalp and helps the hair retain more water and moisture. It also penetrates into your hair and scalp to help condition and rebuild from the inside out. So in a nutshell, put this on your hair and scalp. It'S amazing! Alright, let's prep this bad boy cut off that white yellowy end and look at all that gel. That'S the good stuff now just take what you need and leave the rest, I'm cutting about three one-inch sections of ello and that's enough for mine and Olivia's pre-poo we're going to cut off those sharp sides of the plant and try not to waste just cut it. As close as possible, now we have these openings on the side, just slice right across the middle to the other side, and now you have two halves now, just do the same thing for all your other pieces and then just placing them to the side. For my pre soup, with the remaining aloe plant, just cover that cut end with some plastic wrap and I like to cover a napkin or paper towel to protect it from light. I don't know if it does anything, but that's nice to do and place it in the fridge for the next week. All right. Let'S prep, our oil is grabbing olive oil and natural antioxidant. It also helps to stop the DHT hormones. Reducing hair fall. Naturally, conditions fights off bacteria and fungus and improves blood circulation to the scalp for increased hair growth, next grabbing, castor oil and anti-bacterial and anti-fungal that increases blood circulation to the scalp, accelerating hair growth. It also has conditioning properties and helps lock in moisture, and you can use jamaican black, castor oil if you like. Lastly, adding sweet almond oil and antioxidant that helps unblock pores and moisturize. Your hair and scalp full of magnesium, zinc and calcium almond oil can help reduce hair loss when used consistently. All of the oils that I use contain vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant that helps repair damaged, follicles and scalp tissue. So you can add more vitamin E if you want or if you have it laying around. Currently I'm completely out, so I'm not going to worry about it. Alright, so some of the tools are going to need some hair clips, a rat tail comb and a spray bottle with water. Now you can use, rose water or elevated use if you want as well. I am currently out of both, so it's just water, this time, making a nice clean part right down the middle, just flip the hair and to have clipping one side out of the way we're going to work one half at a time, I'm working in medium to Large sections - and I want my sections to have nice clean parts. I noticed I have much less breakage when I work with clean parts, so I've been taking the time to really make nice clean parts these days it really does make a difference grabbing. One of our aloe vera pieces - oh yeah, we're going to take all that gel and massager right into the scalp and all around the perimeter of that section of hair once that piece of aloe gets dry and you've used up all the gel. On the surface of the leaf, all you have to do is Pierce the leaf with your finger and a whole bunch more that le gel will come out for you to use. So I just Pierce it a little bit at a time and keep massaging the gel into the section. Once I've applied the aloe gel to the perimeter of the section, I'm going to apply it to the inside of the section as well. Of course, making sure my parts are nice and clean to reduce breakage. So in small sections, massage the aloe gel directly into the scalp once the aloe gel, is all over the scalp we're going to grab our oil mixture coat your fingers with it a massage the oil mixture into your scalp to work it in this also work in The nutrients of the oil and the aloe vera, while also giving a scalp a super, beneficial massage, which will help further increase the blood flow to your scalp, promoting hair growth and strong hair follicles, and it feels really good so spend some time massaging it all. In then, we're going to grab our spray bottle rehydrate the hair, especially at the end, grab a bit of your oil mixture again and apply it to your hair shaft from instruments just make sure that you work it into your ends really well, please stay hydrated and Protected and as you're working the oil into your damp hair, you can also use this time to detangle. This will help you cut down on your watch time and make sure the oil is evenly distributed, so just check out how shiny, moisturized and healthy my hair is with this mixture of ingredients. It'S amazing so just puts up that section, adding a bit more oil to your ends. If you want and that's it super plump and moisturize hair, now repeat the same thing to the next medium to large-sized, section, making sure your parts are nice and clean to help reduce breakage. This also helps to allo get to your scalp easier, massage the aloe into the scalp, all along the perimeter of the section and then go into the section with clean parts applying the aloe gel there as well. Next, massage the oil mixture into the scalp rehydrate, your hair, with your spray bottle, making sure to get your ends and then massage more of the oil into your hair strands, to condition and strengthen your ends and hair shaft. And I really try to take my time. Working that oil into my ends to help protect them. I also take the time to detangle my hair prepping it to be washed twist the section up and you're done now - I'm usually wearing an old crappy t-shirt when I do this, but for this video I wore decent shirt that I really don't want to get messed Up so since this section is longer and it hits my shoulder - I'm just going to wrap it into a bantu knot, so my shirt isn't ruined, but just FYI. I usually don't do this. I usually just let it fall so that I can plump up and get dry and I'll show you what that looks like at the end. Okay sections done just repeat the exact same thing for the rest of your hair, so the first half is done. My hair looks nice and shiny, moisturized and healthy, and so far I've only used to a low house for the entire section. Alright, moving on to finish off the second half and that's it for my whole head, I used for half or to one inch pieces of fresh aloe vera plant. These two year are from my baby girl, Olivia and here's the oil that I have left over. Also for Olivia, so I leave my hair just like this: no plastic caps or anything. I let this dry out overnight to sleep just put on a satin bonnet or a satin scarf, and if you find that you have to go outside with this, on your hair, just throw on a regular baby cap and just want to show you the very next Day my twists are super shrunken and moisturize, which is a great thing. My hair just loves the stuff that just drinks it up, so the next step is wash day. So I'm going to go ahead and wash this out, which I'll show you guys in a following video. I hope that this pre-poo video and demonstration was helpful. I hope you give it a try. It really is so amazing for my hair and scalp alright guys. I will see you in the next video

The Intuitive Wanderess: My great grandmother used to put aloe Vera in my scalp when she’d braid up my hair. I used to sit between her legs on the on the balcony in Costa Rica waiting patiently for my pretty hair style. I miss that lady so much.

sacha242: This aloe treatment was amazing!!! I'm from The Bahamas so I decided to grow some aloe in my backyard just to be able to do this all the time.  The aloe completely transformed my hair even before I added the oil.  My hair was super moisturized, my hair was jet black and my curls were popping.  Nature really does give us everything we need.  I def recommend this to all naturals!

Scarlet Rose: As a gal with European hair it’s so satisfying seeing healthy bouncy dark hair ah!! It’s so beautiful. Also I love how you mention the more scientific reasons why you use each product. I’ve for sure learned more from these videos about hair than any of the women in my life ✨

nudawn88: During my journey on trying to simply get my hair to just GROW, I stumbled across your many amazing how-to videos! They are extraordinarily phenomenal!!! But, the one statement you made to encourage us newcomers during this journey was, in the beginning of creating our hair regimens, "simply focus on the processes until we get comfortable with everything, and the rest will come together." YOU WERE SO RIGHT!!! That comment was always in the back of my mind whenever I was pre-pooing, washing, deep conditioning, etc. Those wonderful words of advice truly helped me stick with it, and has helped me get this far in my hair journey. Thank you SOOOOOOOO much! You're the BEST!! :)

Linmarie: This is amazing! I've never seen my curls so defined without gel on them. I'm so happy that I've found something that my hair loves. Now I know what "happy hair" looks like for me. I use EVOO, grape seed oil and castor oil when I do this. I also sit under a dryer for 20 minutes instead of sleeping in it (smells horrible). I use a bit more to concentrate it on my ends in addition to my scalp. Thank you so much for sharing!

Andria Quiñones: Straight savage! My hair went crazy over this prepoo method! Especially after I took out my protective style (Senegalese twist). I didn't even have to sleep in it, I'm doing the other half of my hair and the half I just did is already dry! My poor hair and scalp was dehydrated! Using this FOREVER!

nursesrh: This pre-poo is AWESOME!!!!. Great for me with locs and great for my daughter. Definitely cut down on the amount of shedding!

Jazmin Jordan: Great pre poo routine, Whitney! I need to do clean parts on wash day, from doing my pre poo to styling, so that I reduce breakage. I will start practicing this today when doing my pre poo. I need to do a hot oil treatment today too, since I haven't done one since sometime last year, and my scalp & hair could use it right now.

BlakIzBeautyful: Ive not prepood in years. This looks a very healthy regimen Whit. I might give it a try.

Eunique Hansel: Tried this out for my wash day yesterday and really loved it. There's a lot of steps, but honestly that what makes it so wonderful. It's like giving yourself a spa treatment. My hair was very moisturized and my scalp feels soothed. Thanks so much for sharing!

Plum Natural: I have tried this pre-poo routine twice and loved it. It made detangling much easier, shed hair was significantly reduced and massaging my scalp was the fresh gel and oils was amazing! ! Definitely doing this again regularly.

Adrienne Sims: Yeah, I'm watching this almost 3 years after you did it, but I'm going to try it on my daughter's hair and my hair. Thank you!

NaTasha Washington: I did this last week and loved the results! The aloe gel feels amazing on your scalp and that massage with the oil, GIRL!!! Changed my life! My question for you is, I was planning to do it again tonight, but I wanted to do a bentonite clay mask for my hair tomorrow.  I usually put the mask on dry hair, but if I do the pre poo my hair is usually damp in the morning.  You think I can still do the bentonite or should I just skip it?  Thanks for posting this video!

Deadra Rahaman: Naptural85 I have to say in the last 4 years I've learned the most from you. You provide great tips and DIY options. I take what I need from them within what I find is reasonable to my lifestyle. This is a great pre-poo option. I'll simplify it and make it my own. As always thanks for sharing your learnings!

Roberta Pierre: I like to cut out the aloe jelly, blend it, and strain out the pulp. You can freeze the aloe gel in ice trays and use them when needed (thaw it out, put in an application bottle and use in hair... with out the aloe chunks getting stuck in your hair)... you can also save the pulp and use it for your facials. It applies a lot easier... and save in the fridge. Aloe is the best!

Darlene Means: I LOVE THIS PREPOO. Ive incorporated it into my wash day routine. My hair and scalp drinks this in and I definitely see and feel the difference. My hair is softer, holds moisture better and my scalp feels clean with no flakes or dry patches. My afro is blossoming as I move closer to my 2yr anniversary. wooohooo. thank u. you are the best. love your videos.

shesangs2: I love it! Used the aloe plant last night and baby! My hair never felt so good. Moisturized with crazy definition! Definitely a permanent prepoo for life!!

Jody: I just did this pre poo! What a huge difference! I have never had such an easy shampoo with no breakage. Thank you!

Tea Time: I was thinking about incorporating fresh aloe Vera gel in my routine and now I'm definitely doing it after seeing how your hair drank it up! -Govna

Jasmine Egleston: I LOVE this pre-poo! It feels amazing when I massage it into my scalp. This is my second week doing it and my hair is already loving it!!!

kiki & k: Any one here love how she section the hair so nicely?

Stacy Achan: I tried your pre-poo routine and so far I'm loving it. My curls were so defined and soft, I co-washed after. I can't wait to see your updated wash day.

binkybaby007: Thanks for sharing this!! I included aloe plant to my olive oil prepoo and it has worked miracles for me!! zero fairy knots during my entire wash day routine. This step is a true life saver for my HP 4c strands :0)

Simone Davis: I've been doing this for the past month for my prepoo excepting the almond oil. I have to agree that this method is good. Super great that my icon is doing the same

Jamille Wade: Using the sliced aloe alone was a game changer for my hair. It feels so good, and it didn't irritate my hair when I was lazy and didn't wash my hair the day after. I actually believe this is a great moisturizing routine or pre poo.

Kadian Vickers: I love this treatment! I have been doing it for a few months now and I can tell the difference in my hair! Love love love it and I passed it on to friends as well

Dee Robinson: Simple and straight to the point! Great job. I'm going to try this Thank you

Daneillia Hylton: Hey Whitney ! Using Aloe Vera as a pre poo was Genius ! my hair was soooo dry before and this treatment definitely what my hair and scalp needed Thanks You so much ! I also need to try out the green tea rinse

Brigette A. Bryant: Aloe vera is an incredible medicinal plant. I used to spread fresh aloe vera on my pregnant belly to avoid/minimize stretch marks. It worked!

AmaWundia E.: Hi Whitney! Do you use this prepoo method even when you have product buildup? I've been using it more as a post-poo because I thought the product buildup might compromise it's effectiveness (I use Camille Rose Naturals Aloe Whipped Butter Gel for curl definition). Just curious :-)

Ello Sings: Just wanted to say thank you so much for all that you do. I did this along with the wash routine using all the products and it has done wonders on my hair and scalp. My hair was so soft after the last step of washing. Also not using coconut has been such a blessing. So thankful!!!!

Self Love Goddess: Loved this! I usually prepoo with Aloe Vera Gel but I've never thought to pair it with my favorite oils. I'm going to try this tonight❤

Evanette Sactel: Hi I’ve recently did my big chop and I’m every where looking for someone with my type of hair to learn how to maintain my hair. And I’m in love with the way you deal with your hair. I’m very encouraged now thank you

Lorraine Akinsete: I've been using fresh aloe gel as a pre-poo for a while but differently to your method. I blend it with conditioner and coconut oil and apply it to my hair and leave for about 15mins. it reduces the amount of knots that I used to get and keeps my hair soft and shiny after I wash it all out. Amazing!!!

S Peppers: I just found this video a month ago and have already tried this twice. I have noticed a difference. Initially I only used on my scalp but recently used all over my hair and chiiiile my hair is loving it! Thanks for this video!

S. Webb: I did this method last night and my hair was so soft today after shampooing!! Didn't feel stripped at all. Thanks Naptural85.

Andrea Harvey: OMG! I just did this pre-poo routine for my very first time and I can not believe the difference in my shedding just in the steps of putting the Aloe Vera gel and natural oils on my hair, to the no shedding when detangeling with conditioner. This is amazing, I also left mine in overnight and my hair loved it. This will be my routine from now on. My hair is so soft and feels amazing, thank you for sharing this pre-poo routine with us. Now I have got to go buy a very large Aloe Vera plant

Dee Robinson: Simple ant to the Point!! Great job. I'm going to try it Thank you

Danii Winters: I tried this pre-poo today and I must admit that my hair absolutely LOVED it!!!

DAsia W: In case anyone had doubts this works! It's absolutely amazing! I love it! My hair feels so soft and moisturized after doing this.

Sarah Vargas: I just did this prepoo treatment following your instructions. Thank you ❤️

Devin Cole: I just tried this and it is the first time in MONTHS that my ends haven't been all dry and crispy. I thought I was just going to have to trim them off! Thanks for this!

aaliyahsmommy1608: I watched the same video you did, and was doing this over the summer. This method feels AMAZING on the scalp!! I got lazy with it and stopped. I will get back to it.

The Natural Lan: Hey! So I just tried your pre poo method! I followed the steps and I enjoyed it! My hair did look hydrated when I twisted it and my curls were popping from the oils and detangling. I'm excited to see how it'll look once I rinse it out for wash day. Thanks for the video! I loved watching it

julnyes: I have used this technique twice now and I absolutely love it. My hair is definitely softer and more moisturized. My hair has been super dry this winter and I am so glad to find something that actually helps.

rena13003: I tried this 2wks ago and fell in love. For the first time I had hardly any shedding and breakage. My hair was sooooo soft and manageable I was in awwww. It has never felt so moisturized since I have been natural and it stayed moisturized til my next wash day. Oh, and yes I'm repeating this process every wash day which is about every 2 week now that I have this routine. It use to be once a month. Thanks Whitney.

R Music: Did this today. My scalp and hair felt really good

Cabby: You can also cut out the outer layers of the plant and blend it. This will give you straight gel that you can massage directly into the scalp. Just a suggestion. Love your video.

LifeJewel Amber: Tried this today and my hair feels AMAZING will continue to do this

BeautyByShaniceJ: this method has worked WONDERS to my hair. It’s much more softer and manageable. Thank you so much for this tutorial! ❤️

Shana Hines: OMG!! My scalp has never been so clean!! I have terrible dandruff issues, I can wash my hair, part it and there will still be dandruff on my scalp. But not this time, I followed the tutorial exactly and wow. I will be doing this everytime I wash my hair, it's definitely worth the time it takes.

Jay Wilson: I love how informative you are! You make it look really easy, I can't wait to try this!

Dawn Mixon: AMAZING!!! I absolutely adore this pre-poo. I've tried it 2Xs now and my hair is responding beautifully. So what it takes a little longer than I'd like. The time spent is totally worth it. Whitney, thanks for offering what has become clearly a MUST DO in my hair care regimen.

Monique Williamson: This feels AMAZING!!!! I'm def adding this to my hair routine

A. B: I'm definitely going to try this for my next wash day! Do you have your own Aloe vera plant or did you buy that from a store? Also, how long does your pre-poo routine take?

Jay Fost: Hey Girl i've been watching your videos for a while. Thank you for all your helpful tips.. Ive been using aloe for years but never used in my hair. Definitely going to try it.

Super Fly in Seven: yes! i tried this (but used an already blended oil by the mane choice that i really like), and not only was the process meditative but having used aloe leaves i bought in the supermarket and had left in the refrigerator, the chill of that aloe on my scalp was amazing! i can't wait to do it in the heat of summer. my hair appreciated it the next day as well, i just have to figure out how to protect my bed linens and pillow from the oil!

A. H.: I definitely regret not continuing this in my hair regimen because I struggle on wash days now :( :( These ingredients are so easy to find and you can always prep this for future wash days by storing the extra aloe in the freezer.

reremechelle: Love this video and can't wait to try it. I already use the bottle aloe vera gel in my leave in conditioner and ready to try this routine to help my hair. Thanks

Jasimed: Love this!!! I'm always looking for a good pre poo, especially something that helps with the scalp!

JonelleElise: I sooo have to try this! Thanks Whitney for all your hair care advice... my hair has transformed from using some of your techniques!

Alyssa: I tried this last night, and I'm pretty sure I had less shedding! I am forever suspicious of the placebo effect, but I look forward to the results after a month or so! It's already one of the best DIY attempts I've done.

Mary Leeks-Pollard: I tried this and I absolutely love it. It was the absolute best detangler as well as pre-cleanser. After shampoo and LCO method my hair was nice and soft. It has a beautiful healthy shine. Thanks for sharing!

Le'Andrea Lewis: I tried it and I love it! I used my own oil mixture and I'll probably try yours once I'm out of mine. I also used the aloe vera gel from the bottle, but plan on getting it directly from the plant once I finish this bottle. My hair is so moisturized, soft, and crazy easy to detangle. I'm telling all my friends about it! Thank you for sharing this!

Leah Hardamon: This pre poo looks so official. I can't wait to try. I've done hot oil treatments for pre poos in the past with coconut oil by itself, olive oil by itself, avocado oil by itself or on rare occasions, a mixture. Lately my hair's been telling me to do a little more than just one oil for a pre poo and now I know exactly what I'm going to try. Thanks!

Angelicone2u: Hey Whitney! I was finally ready to do my aloe Vera pre-poo but I'm having some issues. I bought an aloe plant a few weeks ago, and tonight I cut one of the leaves to do my pre-poo. I quickly noticed a yellow liquid coming from the area of the plant that I cut. I then smelt a horrible smell coming from the leaf. So bad I wanted to throw up. I tried to cut further up the leaf but the smell was still there. Did you come across this at all? I really don't feel comfortable putting it in my hair. What should I do!?!?!?

Mimi's World: I tried this on my hair last night and IT. WAS. EVERYTHING. Going to try and see if I can find a way to make it into a gel to make it a bit easier but it made my hair and scalp feel so good! Thanks so much!

Didi Ogah: Thank you!! This is a great video. I'm just getting back to taking care of my hair the way I was before. I'll definitely be adding this to my regimen :-))

Natasha Gaston: I just did this and I LOVE the results! Thank you so much Whitney!

Annette Cooper: I love all your videos. They are so detailed and informative. I love the way you break it down step by step and demonstrate what you're doing. Your hair is amazing! Thick, full, long, and shiny! Simply fabulous and flawless!

educe group inc: Thank you Whitney! I have been doing this for a few months now and I have no scalp problems this winter for the FIRST time!

Healthy Black Mama: I just recently took my locs out and came back to your page. I used to be on your page every day when my hair was loose. This vid was right on time because my scalp hasn't been free in over two years and my strands needed this love :)

Alana's Natural Hair: I love aloe vera and the fact that it can be used in many different ways in our hair. I normally use to to make leave in conditioners. Haven't done a pre poo since I've been natural but it wouldn't hurt to try this. Looks very beneficial.

S. Fergu: Thank you so much adding this to my wash routine has made my hair so soft. over the past 4 weeks I have seen my hair get softer. my ends are not dry. my style last longer and is not all frizz after 3 or 4 days. since I have gone natural 4 year ago you have been my natural hair go to person to help me learn to love and care for my hair. Thank you so much. congratulations on the baby

Frenchie Labelle: I have done this past weekend and I have to say my hair wash was way better very low shedding and my hair feels way softer. Thank you so much

Natural Beauty: I LOVE THIS! Mainly because I have all these ingredients at home... including the exact same bowl (-:

mnmmomma2: Excellent, thank you for posting this video! I will definitely be giving this a shot, even if I totally suck at doing a straight part Do you have any suggestions for what to use or do in order to prevent the hair from prematurely losing the natural color? I'm in a total endocrine mess (thyroid and adrenal glands) that's been going on for way too long, but sometimes my hair will totally lose color, but this time it's happening fast I had a lot of hair lose the color at one point and time, but somehow it managed to get the color back, and without doing anything specific. I haven't been nearly as lucky this time around though FYI, Just to clarify... by asking for suggestions to get my natural color back, I'm not referring to suggestions such as to use hair dye, LoL

T. Buchanan: Ok so this just gave me the easiest wash day I have ever had in my life. As soon as I started putting the aloe on my hair I could tell it was going to be phenomenal. I guess it doesn't work for everyone but if you hav extremely dry hair the aloe just calms everything all the way down. It feels so manageable and soft and prefect. I vote to rename aloe the true relaxer cuz it just soothed my soul in a way I thought it never would. THANK YOU SO MUCH for continuing to experiment and explore for those of us who don't have the time. I love what you do!!!!! Besos!

cps525i: I finally got around to doing this pre-poo and it seems to be a game changer for me! My hair seems so much more moisturized. How long have u been doing this new pre-poo process? Pre-pooing with the actual Aloe Plant is now a staple for me. Thank you!!!!

Ballet Rehearsal: OMG, I tried this today and my hair turned out great! Super moisturized and shiny. I modified to fit my life but my hair was super defined and looked better than ever! I am trying the aloe on my daughter's hair tomorrow.

Agnita McE: I tried this last weekend. It is truely AMAZING !!! Instead of using the oils suggested I wanted to use up the Alikay's 7 oil blend I have along with my beloved hemp seed oil and fresh aloe from the balcony. I have seborrheic dermatitis the aloe worked wonders in my scalp. I also rubbed some of the gel on color treated ends. Thank you for introducing us to this and the young lady!

Allison on YouTube: i used to do this back in the 80's when my scalp was irritated. it worked so well. It soothed my sore scalp and reduced dandruff. It corrected whatever problem with my scalp. Now I Use the Lilly of the dessert aloe gel and juice as a leave in once I cleanse and condition my hair. You helped remind me that aloe is the best thing for the scalp and hair health. Thanks again for another awesome video @naptural85

AVAlon199115: I now use this method and love how much easier wash day is and how healthy my scalp looks

Jeanette Jones: FIRST TIMER: I followed this process. My hair instantly looked better. It's now the morning after and my twists are juicy. i'm looking forward to washing with my homemade African black soap shampoo :) I'm loving what you're going!! A*

CandorBanter: I really like how simple this routine is and how it's minimal and inexpensive products.

Elsie: So I did this treatment! Simply Bomb.I love the cooling feeling of the aloe vera gel on my scalp. I enjoy your reviews, DIY's, and I will be getting your product as well. Thank you!

Sharon Henry: Did this yesterday, my hair loved it...curls popping and the shine

RR Sterling: @naptural85 - Thanks for sharing this great tip on the use of aloe vera gel. I tried this method this week, and my scalp and hair felt great with the aloe vera gel and the oils. The aloe vera gel was dry in the morning, but my scalp was not. It felt moisturized. I was wondering if there is a reason this treatment is recommended as a pre-poo. Can the aloe vera gel be used as a "leave in" also?

AirAri24: I'm from the countryside of the Dominican Republic, and I kid you not when I say that we use sabila (aloe) for EVERYTHING. It's amazing! I never thought to use it for hair! Thank you for the idea!

Elanna Marie: Very detailed and descriptive!! Thank you

Kristina Shorts: Because of this video, I pre-poo with aloe Vera every weekend. My hair has made a complete 180!!!

A Robles: you and nappyfu are my go to natural girls. I love the great suggestions

Christiana Toyin D: I did this yesterday and I loved the results! I'm going to make this part of my routine now! thank you so much!

Say OHAISUXELA: I'm going to try this tomorrow and words can't express how ecstatic I am! My hair is super dry, hope this works!

Caribbean Beauty: I love your videos. I tried this pre-poo treatment and it worked well for my hair...thanks for sharing :)

Te'Keya Krystal: watched this a while ago , but finally trying this during quarantine !

Alex B: I do this every wash day and it's really helped with my eczema! I cut a chunk and place it in my magic bullet to get it more liquified and I put this in a spray bottle to spray onto my hair. Also every night I cut a piece and rub it onto my skin. This helped to remove discoloration ☺ thanks for the video

Silvr Nnatural: I tried this and it really worked for me. My scalp loved it and it completely detangled my hair. Thanks for the vid!

Shemaïa Zephyrin: Hi Whitney! Thank you so much for this video! I was wondering, I'm taking my hair out this weekend from extensions and I'm pretty sure my scalp won't be really clean, should I do the prepoo method another week when my scalp is a little bit cleaner? And if I don't have almond oil, can I replace it with coconut oil? Hope to get a response :) Thanks.

missladyzee44: I've been doing this for some time now. I love this routine & I keep my Hair in box braids. As soon as these 3 months are up, I'm gonna wash my hair
