Hey guys so i was taking out olivia's three week old braids, getting ready to wash her hair, and i just had to stop and record this. Her hair takes a serious beating, but even after three weeks i take out her braids and get this gorgeous shiny, smooth braid out. So i used here my hair product line melon in hair care to protect nourish and style. Her braids for the three weeks that she had them in it's always a treat taking out her hair. I try not to leave her braids in for more than two weeks, but you know life happens and it's comforting to know that, even when i slip up her hair stays moisturized and healthy from the products that she's using look at this shine. Shelley Dawson: No matter what type of hair you have, keeping longer hair up keeps it in good condition. I have Middle Eastern curly hair and this trick has kept it in excellent condition for years.
Olly Nolly: I use to do this on my 4c hair. But I did mini twists all over my head. Would wear that style for a week and then take the twists down and leave my hair open for a few days to a week before washing it and doing it again. My hair grew incredibly fast with this method and it was always soft and moisturised. Only stopped doing it when I wanted to damage my hair by dying and straightening it but now I'm growing it out again. Protective styling is not always braids and weaves people
