Hey hey so today, I'm here with my complete wash day routine, and here I had my hair in some cornrows and I had those in for a really long time and they look a hot mess. So I'm gon na go ahead and take those down okay. So when wash day, I always start off by going through and detangling my hair with my fingers. As you can see here, I just take small sections of hair and pull it apart, so that I can loosen up any tangles and knots that are in it and always make sure to do this so that when I go to wash my hair, it won't become All matted and difficult to work with - and this also allows me to dislodge the shed hair as well now that that's done, I'm going to go ahead and move on to shampooing. So first I drench my hair, so it's completely saturated with water and next I'll. Take my shampoo and apply it to my hair. I like to focus it on my roots, making sure my scalp is squeaky, clean and once I've worked, that in really good I'll, smooth the such throughout the rest of my hair and then rinse it all out. And here's a close-up shot of my hair's texture, freshly washed with no product okay. So after washing of course, I conditioned my hair to get it nice and soft and moisturized. I focused most of the conditioner on my ends since they're the oldest parts of my hair and need it the most. Then I bring all of my hair up on the top of my head and cover it with a plastic cap and I'll leave that on for about half an hour. So after my deep conditioning session is over, I go through and make sure that my hair is thoroughly detangled. At this point, I divide my hair into four sections, because it just makes it easier to manage, and it also sets up for the next step, working on one section at a time, our first finger detangle the hair, just like I did in the beginning. Then I'm going to finish it off using this brush, so starting from the ends and working my way up, I'm gently brushing through my hair and doing this while the conditioner is still in your hair, makes detangling a lot easier as it helps the bristles to kind Of just glide through and not snag on your hair, so I love detangling this way once that is done, it's time to set my hair. So using these bands I put each section into a ponytail and then I take my hair make a twist and wind that into a bun after that I make sure to rinse all of the conditioner out and then once I'm out of the shower. I take my argan oil and apply it to my hair. I use this kind of as my leave-in. I use a tiny, tiny bit of this stuff about two drops per section, because a little bit of this goes a long way and I don't want my hair to be greasy and weight down so one by one. I unravel the buns and apply the oil. Then twist the hair back up, bring it over and clip it down, and I do this so that my hair can dry in a stretched-out state, and this will give me a blown-out look without using any heat. And then, since you guys know, I like for my edges to be smooth, I apply a little bit of gel and then tie it all down with a scarf and let it dry overnight. The next day I take everything down and then I just rake through my hair with my fingers to separate now from here. I can go in style, my hair and do hairstyle such as these, but on that day I just kept it simple and did a bun. So yeah, that's my wash day routine guys thanks for watching and I'll talk to you soon. Veri Keri: I just recently started watching your videos.  This one is very helpful!!  I have the hardest time trying to manage me and my daughter's natural hair. I especially like that Denman brush...will be buying one today, and I absolutely love the stretched out no heat drying method.  Will be adding that to my routine.  When you wake up in the morning and take your hair down is it fully dry throughout or is it still damp in the middle?

yellatopaz: Yes, I love this. My hair texture is so similar to yours and taming it seems almost impossible. I like how you rinse out your conditioner while your hair is still in the bantu knots and then from there begin the stretch process. Informative upload!

Teesh Watson: How often do you do this routine? Do you use a daily moisturizer? Ive been following you for a while and I'm amazed how your shaved part grew back so fast. I just want to use everything you use lol. Lastly do you have instagram?

wellhellopanda: Finally! Your hair texture is the CLOSEST thing I have seen to my own on Youtube. It is almost the same. And now that I've seen the Aussie Moist in action, I am willing to give it a go. Thank you for this video.

Aria Hazelwood: I’ve been washing my hair wrong this whole time thank you girl ❤️

Delightful Deli: Hi! Love the video! I like that you got a lot of length from the stretching. I have a hard time getting my hair to stretch to its maximum potential. I love the bun you did at the end and I would like to know if you have a tutorial video on how to make the bun? I always do a ponytail puff the next day but I think your bun is a much classier option that can fit any style of dress. Thanks

Momma2Timer: Can you do a quick Tut on how you did your bun please! This looks soo cute and simple!
