So, hey windii, I'm so glad that you came in today and I just wanted to ask you a few questions about your hair and that you share with me any of your hair concerns that you have so one would be. You know what do you like in most of us on here or not like a bunch of here? Well, I do like you know. I have like this, the color of it like this, like sandy brown, I love it. I hate it because it seems like my hair is always like a dull looking color. It is really not. This is like my hair, color, okay um, the curl pattern like on a good day. If you keep it like that, one thing I don't like is just try to keep it moisturize on your hair. It'S curly, it's harder for the oil to like get to the end. So that's one thing, I'm always like cosmos every which is China. My hair looks run so this is the main concern: okay, okay, so we're definitely going to tackle the moisture issue today with with our new line, because this is one to help give you a lot of moisture from roots to ends is going to help with new Detangling, your hair, and it's just going to give you a lot of shine as you love your color, but then sometimes it looks a little 15 yeah. So this will give you a lot of shine as well. Let'S get started so the first step of our our gabion davender collection is our moisturizing hair bag, the use of moisturizing hair bath. You want to place about a quarter size amount in your hand, you want to distribute it evenly in your hand, rubbing your hands together like this and then begin to apply, starting from the roots, all along the hair shaft and I'm going to distribute the product evenly And I'd like to use the hands to help with detangling the hair. The great thing about this shampoo is that it has great moisturizing properties and I'm able to glide through the hair so easily. Never take the hair and agitate like this. If you agitate like this, this usually causes tangling. But if you use long strokes using your fingers, you can easily detangle that here in depression. So now I'm going to rinse your hair. So, as a rants, we want to make sure that we remove all of the product come here, cleanse the hair with our moisturizing hair bath and now once a step two, which is my moisturizing and detangling conditioner, so I'll take a bit of the product. In my hand, I'll start off with probably about a quarter side distributed evenly and then the key is start working from the end when applying the product so work from the ends and, as you see, I'm taking sections to apply it to her hair. This way, I can ensure that I have properly covered all of her strands. Then I'll go on to the next section so depending upon if your client has, especially if they have for a B or C curl pattern or tighter curl pattern, you want to be sure to apply the conditioner in sections so that you can properly saturate every strand. You see I'm starting from the ends working my way, all the way to the scouts I'll continue this process until all her hair has been conditioned, and you only have to leave the product on the hair for one to three minutes for proper conditions. If you need to give a deeper penetration of the conditioner, you can either go under a hooded dryer with a plastic cap or even go under a theme. So it's totally up to you based upon your particular hairdos. Now, I'm about to rinse out her conditioner, so terrific conditioner, you can use cool to loose your own water. Now I'm going to tower blot her here. As you can see, she already has shine and some manageability, because it's very soft and moisturizer so now that I have shampooed her hair and conditioner hair, I am going to apply our blow drive and styling primer, which is step 3. This smells amazing, shake it up and then it's ready to you, but I'm just going to pop her hair. Just to give me some control. When I go in to blow-dry, I like to part it into four sections or four quadrants and then always be tengo, starting from the ends working your way up so I'll be tangle. Will you see it glass little? Well, let's do to our conditioner. I'M really doing this is just going to give me the control that I need when I start with blow drying process, and then this is my perception. So I'm going to leave this one house look at how easily this cone glass throw. So I started from the ends and then work my way up and I can glad threw her here so now. I finished applying the blow dry and spelling farmer to her entire head and sectioned it in Columbus, the roof. Now some the poacher you you now that I finished her blow drying process, I'm going to go in with step four, which is the thermal protectant cream. The thermal protectant cream is, in addition to thermal protection, and that's one of the things that curly girls are worried about. Is they want to make sure that their hair is not going to be compromised when it is silk out, so disappointing offer exceptional thermal protection so I'll start with a pea size for her hair? I'M going to rub it and distribute it in my hands evenly and then I'm going to apply starting at her in making sure I cover all of her hair. As stated, this is one to offer an extreme amount of heat protection and also aid with humidity. So now I'm just sectioning the hair so that I can have control when I footprint and I'll clip it out of the way as I do so, and you want to make sure that you use the proper heat setting for the clients, hair type and texture. So you don't want to use anything over 400 degrees, 400 degrees. 342. 400 is considered safe heat and of course you don't want to compromise their curl pattern, but we've got ultimate protection with our thermal protection cream in the hair. So one to two passes should suffice. Starting from the roots working my way to the end and I'm using small sections, I like to use that agonal partings, because I can get close to the root area and get a smooth finish. Sometimes you want to have curly success rate, and this is definitely the opportunity to do so with a gabbing and lavender blow-dry and still press collection.

Elizabeth Chanda: 7:27 that’s the face of a client who knows they’re in good hands! That detangling was flawless. I have flashbacks from my last new stylist who I was trying. He went in on my hair. Yanking and pulling as he combed. I should have stopped him and taught him to hold the hair taut and work from the bottom up but I was taken by surprise. Needless to say I won’t be going back... he does cut a good shape though.

Shalonda Bryant: Great job!! She was glowing after her style was complete!

Girly H.: Her hair looked fabulous! Full of body and shine. I purchased the Design Essentials Agave & Lavender line and I just may use this to press out my hair for my one year natural anniversary which was July 31st.

As soon as I put it on my hair ,I could feel the difference, It made my hair super soft ,it felt like I was pampering my hair. When I was done it looked and felt like my hair was relaxed. My edges usually revert back the quickest in this southern heat, but so far so good. Iam so impressed and pleased with this line. Design Essentials you got it right!!!!!! Do you reccommended keeping your hair in this style a week even while you exercise, or is it just a one or two style where at the end of tge second day you will need to wash and go back to your natural curly style? Thank you!

Modest Green Beauty: What brand of brush were you using to blow dry her hair with?

Queen King: That was Phenomenal!!!! Great Video! What is the youngest age this can be done?

Abbyliciouz: Her hair is healthy

Marika Edwards-Manswell: How long does it take for your hair to revert, is this something that a person who goes to the gym (4times a week) use and still have straight hair
