Hey everyone I'm here with another video, and this is going to be a review of two hair treatments that I've been using lately: they're, not new to the market or anything like that. They'Re just products that I've grown on quite fond of the first one is Kretsch. A pillow mess of the jar looks like, and this one is, the silicon mixed with pearl extract, see it even has like a little pearl on them. Both of these are 16 ounce jars, and I purchased this one for $ 8.99 and this one for $ 7.99. Both of them at the beauty supply store. So how did I happen to come to try these? Let me tell you so I have a phobia of beauty, salons um. I did mention that in one of my previous videos, if you're interested in why I will post a link to that video in the description box below and you could watch that video. But I probably will not be going to any hair salons any time soon. But here in New York, it's a very popular thing for a lot of women to go to Dominican, hair salons, because they're well-known for like the awash and sets they're blowouts, but also their deep treatments. I'Ve even heard like some places, have their own homemade one. You can only go to that place to have that deep treatment done. Okay, so I figured well. Maybe there might be something that I could purchase at the VA salon kind of like these Dominican hair treatments that I could apply myself and do at home. So I did look up a lot of blog post and some YouTube videos and I came across this genre of hair treatments. So a lot of these like products they have like the silicone, have like that. Little symbol on the other silicon on it and it's you Jack, a white jar. They they look a whole lot alike and I just picked these. I went to the store and I end up just picking these. There was no reason why I got these exact ones. I just picked them, so it's not like I've read or watched a particular video on these. I just picked them anyway. One of the things you hear from people who have like natural hair is often the debate between using products that have silicone in them versus using parts that do not have silicone. So if you are not, you know quite sure about silicones silicones, they coat the with the strands of your hair. It makes your hair strands smoother. It makes your hair feel softer. It reduces frizz. It makes it easier to detangle your hair, it kind of reduces the likelihood of losing moisture from your hair, and also it's really good for helping your hair stand up well against humidity. So, like one of the things I mentioned, and some of my videos is that my hair will often deflate like if it's a really hot day - and I have put something in my hair, like with oil or something particularly moisturizing. If I get out there and it's really hot or if I heat up, you know a lot, my hair will just kind of fall and my my curls will look differently. The texture of my hair will change depending on how hot it is, and weather and humidity, and all that, but products with silicones in them. They are supposed to help your hair with that kind of issue. However, because it does coat your hair, there can be product buildup, which is why a lot of people stray away from it. Some people avoid altogether some people will just you know, decide to do like lightweight silicones. Now there are a long list of silicones. Well, there are like a couple of basic ones, I don't want to say four or five, but I I've heard that there's like a long list of different silicones that often appear and beauty products if you're interested, I encourage it. I encourage you to kind of Google what the names of them are, so that when you go to the drugstore or anywhere that you purchase your hair product, you can kind of read the back of the label and you can kind of tell you know if it's A heavy silicone product or a light silicon products, it will also change a hair type if you have too much silicon buildup on so with me, I've noticed that my hair gets really stringy. It gets really hard it. Doesn'T it's not easy to manage. It doesn't look good and I I just kind of alternate between like heavy silicone products or I'll, just like lay off of them for a while won't use them for a little bit and then just go back to using them sometime later, so I basically tried this One first and then I started in on this jar on here: the crotch, a pillow. It'S like white. I save a little bit to show you guys. I use up most of the jar and the other one. It'S like a blue-green marine color see. So I basically had the same result with both of these products. I applied them during my wash routine after I've shampooed and conditioned my hair, and I would apply these as like a deep treatment and just put it on my hair. I would you know section it off and applied to each section and then put a shower cap on. I felt that almost immediately, I could you know kind of feel the results. My hair felt lush very soft and manageable, and my favorite part was that it was just easy to detangle. I noticed that there was a lot less shedding a lot. Less hair came off, I'm in my comb, both in the shower and afterward. When my hair was trining so that I appreciate it a lot, what I also want to say about it is that you know how, with some products they'll tell you like deep treatment products or mass they'll tell you, you could just put it on your hair for A little bit with shower cap and leave it some of the most high you to sit under a dryer, you don't add heat to it. For a little bit and I've noticed in my hair. It feels differently. It'Ll look differently depending on the product that I use and how I use it. What I liked about these products is that they like a really great job of conditioning my hair and I didn't have to add heat. I never wanted to add me. In fact, I just applied applied the product, and then I would put this like one of these kinds of fats on my hair and go about the rest of my routine. So if I was going to give myself a facial or anything else, if I was going to be a little bit, I didn't necessarily have to apply heat to it, but my hair still turned out really really well. What I did notice about the product, though, is these products, though, is that once or twice it did happen that my hair did get like stringy and it it really wasn't pretty, and then I was I was like well. What am I like? What am I doing wrong like what what's going on, and I realized I had been using this consistently for a while, so it's kind of laid off of it for like a week or so, and it was okay. One other thing that I want to mention about these products is that my styling products applied distributed and just performed a lot better. On my hair after I use these conditioners, you know, as I said, it does help fight frizz, and I think that that property has a lot to do with the better performance of my products, even products that are not my go to products, products that I have Laying around products that I'm not really that fond of I just used, sometimes because I don't have anything else. I have used an array of styling products after using these and they always turned out better than they did beforehand. I like that, you know for the cost. I mean $ 7.99 and $ 8.99 for the amount of use I get out of each jar. It'S it's a really great deal as I you know, as I show you guys, I'm there you see how much is left there, and I can't tell you how many times I use this jar. I, like that they're easily available I've seen these at basically every beauty supply store that I've gone into if you're interested in trying product like products like these out. I don't think you'll have a hard time finding them, even if you don't find these exact you'll find comparable products. You usually like on the same shelf and they usually are like white. Sometimes like there's this green one la bamba. That one is like in a brown jar, and I think I like in a tan beige job, but they usually on the same shelf and one telltale sign that you'll that you're on the right track. On one side. It will have all the instructions and ingredients in Spanish and on the other side, it will have it on in English, bad English, really bad English, but only have it in English and then, of course, you could always look down there where it's made and most of Them will say I made in the Dominican Republic yeah, so I definitely give these products a thumbs up, but if you interested in using them, read up a little bit more about silicones, you should know about those as far as which are going to react, however, way To your hair or to your styling products, and if you try them just be careful with using it so often just kind of ease into it, because again you don't want stringy hard unattractive hair like I did like I had it. Wasn'T it wasn't pretty anyway, if you guys have any comments, questions or responses, please leave them in the box below, if you have it don't forget to like it, don't forget to subscribe and until next time take care, guys, bye,

Valerie TheBeautifulSoulTV: Thanks for sharing. You really "broke it down" for me (silicones and such). Great video. This product is new to me.
