Hey guys crystal here from elite hair care, so my client today is 100 % natural, beautiful hair and has never had a trip. So in today's video we are going to do a silk press on this beautiful hair, we're going to trim her and then going forward. We'Re going to talk about her hair care regimen and that kind of thing give her some some tips and tricks on how to take care of this beautiful, hair cuz. I don't think she knows what she has. She has what we're gon na go through and just talk about. You know how to care for a long natural hair and when it gets to this point, she kind of felt like it. It'S not growing right, alright, like it's not growing, but at the same time we have never actually done a trim in here. So she's never done a trim before so we're gon na do all of that today and I'm taking you guys with me during the process. So just keep watching and if you haven't already, please hit the subscribe button down below like this video or thumbs up this video and just share it with everybody else. Okay, so let's talk about the preliminary work before we got to this point she came in, we did what we call a so press with the works so presses with the works is a shampoo service, a deep conditioning treatment and then we're gon na do. Of course, the suppress trim, all that was the best, what we call the works so for her. We utilize our cleanse me of clarifying shampoo, which is actually my shampoo it'll, be available on my site later today, and then we used our mazzani thermal smooth shampoo as her treatment shampoo. We also use their conditioner and then at the end we sprayed in our newest product, which is our leave in growth conditioner. It'S our leave-in treatment. You spray it on. It helps to detangle the hair, it's also CBD, so it's going to help repair the hair from the inside out as a leave-in conditioner, and it's a spray book just like that. We put that on and then we leave-in spray is not on the site just yet. If you're watching this video today's July 5th 2019, it should be on the site later this evening and it'll be up for a pre-sale during our autumn fourth of July sale. So you'll see this on the side as well, so we're gon na go ahead and start with the blow-dry portion of the service. Now, when we say blow-dry portion, she has already air dried under a hood dryer, which is diffused heat for about 30 minutes which took about maybe 80 % of the moisture out of her hair, and it will blow-dry her the remainder of the way. This is the way that you typically want to do a blow-dry. You don't want to blow-dry your hair when it's done like really really wet. Only because you're gon na end up giving yourself more split ends, you can change your elasticity. You can also break your your bonds and your curl pattern, and that's just not what we want, so that is how we did I'm her to blow her dry process and now we're gon na blow-dry her the remainder of the way. We call tension, though right we hold the head in one direction and you hold it and blow-dry. This will help you build either hair a lot faster. Our leave-in growth conditioning spray also allows the hair to dry a little bit faster as well. So that's another great benefit of and then of course, this went to help as sign help to repair the hair as a leave-in treatment and then we're going to go through the head start. Our silence doctor talk about product, so some people for longer hair. They like to use a round brush, you can use a round brush, you know roller brushing, isn't definitely required, but you can use that to help bring soup to hair as well, so you're working, smarter and not harder. So this allows you to also blow-dry, and so is here slightly ahead of time. You can do it that way as well. For me, I'm not gon na do too much round brushing. I am a true believer. Working smarter, not harder and her hair is already partially dry, so I don't really need to do the round brushing, but you can it's an option. Well, here's very really fast anyway, all because we did do a preliminary dry and I did spray on our leaving. So that also helps noted here faster and and, as you guys know, majority of my products are infused with and then here's another trip whenever you're blow-drying longer hair, it's always best to blow-dry the hair in the direction that you want it to go. So, instead of me flipping it up and down, that was the main reason why I did the preliminary drying, because I don't want to manipulate her hair too much. It'S tangled that way, so that alleviates you getting a lot of tangling when you're blow-drying. If you keep the hair in the same direction and they're going to style it and you brush or comb in the same direction, it'll dry faster number, one it'll dry a lot easier, and then you won't get so much tangling, as you will dry. Let'S say you want to find a silk out from front frightening to utilize, a ceramic forever, because I hear a little more, but you can carpal tunnel. I definitely tried again all right, so we're done with our blow-dryer, so we're going to use our bodies, frizz, tamer and shine serum for her hair, because it's so long, I'm going to use four drops. That'S all I need start from the outside, and just literally I all you're doing is running your fingers through the hair. Hey! Thank you. It'S my first timer so you're, basically just putting it all over the hair and gives heat protection properties up to four hundred and twenty six degrees. It also helps with the humidity control and add that shine and luster and once again it's an infused with CBD. So it's going to help to repair the hair from the inside out all while using it as a styling product. So it's a leave-in product, okay and that a little bit and I still have some on my hands. So that tells you how public that particular serum is we're gon na make sure we get it on her ends. Even though we're going to be trimming some of it, you still want to make sure you're protecting the hair as best possible. So for me, so we're gon na start with our smoking now, because she has fine textured hair. I can do it in larger sections. You don't have to do small sections when you're doing a so press all the time. It'S not always required another easy way of doing a soap press when it comes on to larger sections. Do a diagonal parting. You get closer to the scalp that way and I'm still doing one time, that's it so the smoke that you see, that is the heat protectant, don't be alarmed it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do and then don't get heat protection start at the bowl, so Make sure that the products that you're using when you're doing those suppress surgeries are suited towards suppressing mind you we did this in a large section. So that's a good thing now. Her hair texture supports that as well. She has fine textured, hair, so she's kind of pre-soaked already, so I don't have to work as hard when I'm doing her press and I'm still them. I think one pass to one and a half depending on the section and make sure you maintain tension all the way until you get to the last piece of hair falling out of your iron. That'S how you alleviate fishhooks in frizzing, so she's never had a trim. So, after an hour, silk press we're gon na go ahead and trim her eye trim in the trim not for her. I had to let make sure we know so for her. While it's a trim, it's kind of a cut because she has not had a trim ever so a lot of the hair. That'S down here really needs to be cut off, but you'll see exactly what I mean and you're going to see. The big difference between her hair, trimmed and not trimmed and the health of her hair will change within a matter of minutes. So some of her roots are rope. Y'All I'm gon na do is take my iron and literally attack the root. So I'm not gon na go down the strand again. I just need it to clean her roots up and then a front tip. Of course, whenever you're doing a certain price, it's best to use carbon combs, if you don't have access to a carbon comb, a heat-resistant comb, regular rat tail combs are not made to do the service. They will warp over time, if not almost immediately. So this is where we are shy needed and it's very lightweight so we're about 40 % through our press, so we're gon na do our hair line for the hair line I'm going to go towards her face, but you'll still have the ability to style it. Oh wait we just that, makes it easier when you're trying to get that hair line area so I'll. Do that just a little bit smaller of a parting and then go back to my big parts. Hold you here for me it'll, be afraid to tell your client to hold their ear. No one wants to be, and this is her first so press ever so you want it to be a good. You can see. The owner. Traumatize are on the first breath good morning. I really enjoy watching your hair tutorials. Thank you. I hope everybody had a good Independence Day by the way, so all of their products in regards to styling, including the leave-in conditioner, and the cleanse me clarifying shampoo. All of those items are available at elite haircare usa.com and keep in mind my Independence Day. Sale is going on as we speak, where everything is up to 40 % off, so you guys take advantage of that and then the iron that I'm using to do this is the Babyliss Prima. You don't have to have the babe ulis prima, I'm using titanium, which is the more important part. It'S not really the maker of the iron, it's the material, so I'm using titanium on her hair because I want it to be able to do it in larger sections. Number one in titanium is a little more indirect heat, but because I'm doing a larger section, it works out a little bit better. You can do this with a ceramic iron as well. Ceramic, you probably will have to do more than one pass, sometimes, depending on how hot that iron King did, and I would not use a hot comb on her hair texture - it's not required. It will actually do more damage than good now for styling purposes. I'M going to use my ceramic iron and someone axe the other day. Will you have your own glad irons, that kind of thing I'm working on it? I actually have already started in the testing phase so soon, so we're about 70 % done with our press overwhelming at the beginning, because some people get so afraid when they see someone come in with a lot of hair or very long. Hair they're, like oh, my gosh, this is this - is not gon na be good. This is actually one of the easiest purses I've ever done. Long hair is easy to me. If you just kind of tackle it in sections you'll get through. It really really quickly. Longer hair is easier to slip to me, then shorter hair, even though it's less longer here comes a lot easier and I'm gon na soak a piece of her hair with my ceramic iron. Only because I want you guys to see exactly what I mean by your end, up working a little bit harder with so you'll see exactly what I mean. I just turned on my two inch iron and then I'll soak a piece of her hair with the two inch. Now, if that's what you have available use what you have, but as a hairstylist, if you're a hair stylist, then I would definitely invest in a titanium iron for silk presses for at-home use. I don't recommend titanium irons, because you would do it more at home and you will easily break your bond because you're using that that they're ready too much all right, so we're gon na try it with our ceramic iron. Now I'm still going to do the same size section now this is a wider plate is two inches. So, let's see now with ceramic, I have to go a lot slower and her hair still has some wave in it after using my ceramic iron. So that's the reason why I don't like to use ceramic irons what I'm doing no you're fine, that's the reason why I like to use titanium iron and titanium irons. When I do my presses only because I have to press more than one too many ceramic heat yeah, oh you know where's, Oh straight down the hall to the right. Not this hall is a hall right here, all right, so we're gon na go back to our titanium, because I know that I can do this in one pass, which is better for the hair. I can move a little bit faster and the hair will still remain silky and straight, but now you know why I say I do not recommend titanium heat at home, it's better to use ceramic. This is more like a sporadic use of titanium, not everyday use. It'S not made for everyday use. I don't know if you guys have been asking questions. We shot this side over here. Okay, now for her truck room, I'm definitely gon na utilize. My cutting vest, because I need to be able to differentiate her hair from the actual Cape and I wan na even playing ground, so cutting vests are definitely good to you. Could you believe she wants to cut it? We were just talking about that today, where, when you have what you don't want, and if you don't have it you want it: what treatment do you recommend for thinning hair, especially around the hairline, so you can utilize our extra strength, goddess, hair repair, serum infused with Cbd, especially for the hairline and inside the actual head itself, that is a growth repair and strengthening treatment. So you can definitely do that and you can infuse it in your shampoos and conditioners. And then someone asks me another question: it's once a week: equal, the titanium, irons, okay, honestly, if you're going to do it once a week if your natural and yes, but you need to be mindful that you need to wash your hair and if your hair will Speak to you, you'll know what it's too much me personally at home. If you're doing it once a week, I probably still use ceramic because you want that diffused heat. You don't want to keep putting this direct plate on the hair every single week. Eventually, that bond is gon na break and it's gon na break a lot faster than using a ceramic iron with a coated plate blood pressure, I'm ready, yes, blood pressure, medication can't in the hair, it's staining the blood, so it also thins other areas to be fine. So yes, blood pressure. Medication can dim the hair. I know some people will have that option where they can speak with their physician and let them know the symptoms, but guess what one outweighs the other. So your blood pressure is way more important in your hair. If you get the option great here's the thing, those options are really just educated guesses, you're trying it out to see if it helps there's no surefire answer or fix for it. Now I want to show you guys something if you notice it's kind of frizzy right here, most people who don't know or don't have experience they'll continue to try to silk that hair, wondering man what's so frizzy. Why is it so frizzy? It'S not because of the actual soaking it needs to be cut off. That hair is split and it's ultimately switched so there's no reverse to that, so that hair has to come off at some point. Well, some don't want to do it right away. You can do it gradually until you get up to that point. How do you treat? Can you be a little more specific Teresa you're asking? How do you treat it? How do you treat what oh, how do you treat thing here with blood pressure medication? You can't really treat it. You can only control it, because the main problem is not it's. Some medication, that's inducing it. So you have okay, your blood pressure under control, and I know it sounds crazy, saying it that way, but that is the ultimate problem. It'S the blood pressure, it's not it's, not the hair, so one knee the other, so your blood pressure needs the medication to regulate you. So you don't have high blood pressure. What that medication also has an adverse reaction, which is an effect it's affecting the hair. So the big problem is the blood pressure. You have to fix that problem first and sometimes that's unfixable. I don't know your case but, like I said, walking outweighs the other which Ivor is for the greater good and blood pressures. First blown beautiful hair and she wants to cut it. Will it grow back? It will definitely grow back, but you can even grow in here for how long all her life. So this is her here. All her life she's never had a haircut ever so today is gon na, be the first one all right. So we're almost done now for the crown of her head, I'm gon na. Do it a little bit smaller partings, because you want that area to be really really silky babe, I'm sorry! I couldn't give you an ultimate answer, but definitely talk to your physician about it. Sometimes they have alternatives all right all right. So this is our last party. I know we're gon na start with her. I wan na say cut then trim what you guys understand exactly alright, so we're done with the silk out. I'M gon na turn this iron off, because I won't be using it for her style. I don't need to be eating tonight. Okay, so wan na put on our cutting vents, so the cutting this is actually still might. It still might be shorter than her hair, but it will help us when it comes to the cut put the cutting vest on. We want to utilize a cutting comb. Posture is everything when it comes on to a cut or a trim. It doesn't matter okay, so looking at her here, I can definitely tell where she needs to come down, so we're actually gon na bring her. I'M not gon na be able to take everything, but I'm gon na do my absolute best to get as much as I can, while preserving her legs as much length as I can so. We'Ve already agreed upon the fact that she needs to cut it and my take her to her ear, I'm not in her case. What I am gon na do is utilize my clippers, because this will give me a straight line, a lot quicker and more control, and I like this cutting best because it actually gives me lines that I can utilize of guys. I'M honored hey my packages here come on so that gave us the guide to be able to do this trim really really quick and then, of course, I have some little hairs that I still have to clean up. Thank you. You too, do you want to do product is in people I had Surrey up. I was out of a good amount of butter all right down for me. So at this point we can take off the cutting breast because we have our guide. We know where we are. You can keep it on. If you want for me, I don't need to, but if you're not experienced with stuff like this, then definitely you can utilize your cut best. But at this point I'm going through and just blending and cleaning it up, so I don't need my cutting this per se and I want to do it with notching. Now people frown on notching with natural hair. What you can do it? It doesn't take away from the fact that you're cutting and it doesn't give her uneven uneven haircut, but you cannotch and still keep a line at the same time. Well, she's natural! So you don't want to give her bluntness in there when she tries to wear her hair in its natural state. It doesn't match, it looks. It looks hard and heavy and remember whenever you're cutting or trimming you're always doing it in the shape of the head. The head is not a square, so you're going to cut it, just as though you'll be cutting our slicing and orange I'm doing larger sections. But if you can't see your guide, then definitely need to take small recordings. And if it's framed in front of her face, I'm not going to do a lot of layering in the crown area. What we're going to do a little bit of slicing just to give her some brandy in her face now, if the hair, it's still a little too kinky towards the front, because that does sometimes happen, you can suck it one more, but don't do too much just So you can see your actual cut, that's all okay! So our trip is done. Oh good! So now we're gon na do our styling for her styling is if she's never had a silk press. So of course I'm gon na leave her as straight as possible. So she can see the fruits of her labor. Here. It'S actually really really nice. You want to leave all right, so we're gon na use a little bit of Sebastian Schaefer, that's the kind of helps seal the cuticle, I'm not gon na spray, her with any more gloss just yet I'll use that at the end, I've already soaked her. So I'm literally going to go in big slices and just give her a nice little band, and that's what I mean when I say: work: smarter and not harder if you've already sucked her. Why are you gon na take small sections and soak her again? You don't need to so all we're doing is styling so for this dense area, we'll split that into don't worry too much about the frizzies and the fry ways we'll take care of that with a little bit of gloss at the end, you will have some our Last piece here so we're going to kind of pull towards the back of our head, because I want that layering just like that and we'll spray it a little bit of gloss just to help with her flyways. I'M gon na use a little bit of our clear edge tamer in the front, all right, so we're gon na use a little bit of our clear CBD, infused edge tamer on the front part of her hairline. I have my brush here I'll, bring you guys close enough, so you can see so she is. She has the good hair in the front great for baby here. I'M not gon na give her too much. I'M not a major Turner baby here, like that and the edutainment also available on a site in clear or charcoal and then for the front we're a little bit of our Sebastian Shaffer she's, all bad, alright, alright peeps. So we are done with our silk press on our client, who has never had a so price, and this is her first rim. Slash cut! Look how much healthier the hair looks now that we've taken off that dead weight. That is exactly what it was dead weight. Alright guys once again, name is crystal for me here care us, a all of the products that I spoke will be available down in the description box or you can go to either hair care usa.com, and that is where you'll be able to obtain any and all Of them, but I appreciate her everybody for watching

I have learned so much from you my grand daughter is a stylist and like you she went to a very good school where you had to learn more than the average school I appreciate both of you other stylist could learn from both of you with much LOVE ✔️

Hilma Allen: I will just say that my hair is like this lady’s and when I was 17 (I was going to a family wedding) I went to a very lager black hairdresser here in London UK to get my hair done. When I walked in their so called top stylist looked at me and said to the manager “what does she expect me to do with hair like that”. I had it washed and dried (not by her), and when I got home my mother had to redo it. Needless to say that I never went to an black owed hairdresser again. Do not get me wrong, I have had lots of black stylist do my hair over the years now, I am 62, but they all worked in a white hair salon where they had to have qualifications actually gone to college to be an hairstylist. But I did not go back to an hairdresser again until I was about 25 years old.

carolyn williams: Beautiful job!!!

Sharita Richardson: Healthy head of hair, to have never had a hair cut, she did great with the upkeep!!!!

Talisha Perry: Whenever you see natural hair this long, regardless of "hair type", there's a good reason...it's because women take care of their own hair by doing the basics, i.e., wash once a week or every two weeks, using products to match their scalp and hair texture, air dry or blow dry lightly, light press or light flat iron, and place hair in a bun. Last, they aren't rough with their hair, they refrain from adding color, hair extensions, braids, relaxers, silk presses, and going to the hair salon. Stylist did a fabulous job and her client's hair looks beautiful. But, fine hair doesn't like any kind of a hard, flat iron press. Since her is fine, it's going to break and fall out in 1-3 days.

Audery Wallace: I just love the way you do hair and it helps me to maintain my hair and I see now that my blood pressure medicine is what's thinning my hair I always wonder what it was thank you
