What'S a beautiful people initially here and in today's video we are going to be doing a my hair. I went to the gym this morning, so I needed to wet my hair rehydrate right here and pretty much washed, my hair in the twist. This is what it looks like. I have already applied my leave-in conditioner, the one that I used was the as I am long in Lux goal: yogurt even conditioner, I'm just gon na - be turning these twists able soon a washing though the products that I will be using for my washing goal is My handy dandy, eco styler, gel yay, water bottles and that's it for the products let's get to the hair. So first I'm gon na start by sectioning off my hair, because my hair are in this twist. It was already fully detangled. My hair is still quite wet. So I can go right in with my gel, as I'm applying the gel. I am adding a gentle tension stretching the hair straight. This helps to ensure that the gel is evenly dispersed over my hair. I'M also adding a bit of pressure with my fingers to smooth the cuticles down, so I'm gon na just slow it down a bit. So you can see exactly what I'm doing I undo the twists, then I spritz with some water, because by now my hair is starting to dry, that I start to work got water in. This is a very important step, especially if you're using gel work. The water in because you want the water to soak into your hair underneath the job. Then I separate the curls just a little bit grab some gel stretch, my curls straight with just a gentle tension. I'M not tugging, I'm not going, and then I apply my gel from the roots first down to the tips, you'll notice, that, as you are applying the gel to your hair, your hair will start to clump together. This is good. It means that your curls are now going in a uniform direction, and this is what you want. As your hair starts to dry, the curls will stay uniformed and the strands will shrink at the same rate. This is what helps to keep them super defined. It also helps to decrease frizz you'll, also notice that the curls will start to separate in certain areas on their own. That'S, okay! It'S fine! If you want, you can actually go ahead and make those separations a little bit smaller. It'S totally up to you! This is actually called shingling, the smaller your shingling, the bigger your hair, will be when it dries. When I get to my side part, I add a little bit of gel to my roots, but I do not put it on my scalp because I don't want it on my scalp. So this is what it's looking like fully finished, ready to dry honey. I'M so excited because this took about 30 minutes. Yes, you can allow you her to air dry in the summer time. I do that, however, it's winter, so I'm not going outside with wet hair. I will be using the diffuser today if you're, not a fan of frizz, make sure that you do not play with your hair. Don'T touch your hair, don't be doing anything to your hair until it's fully dry leave it along a dry. You can also stretch your curls a little while you're using the diffuser, so they dry a little bit elongated. I usually allow my curls to shrink and then the next day when I'm styling, I will stretch my curls to preserve my curls. While I sleep, I tie my hair with a silk scarf. I also sleep on a satin pillowcase, just in case it falls off, and sometimes I use a satin bonnet. But today the silk scarf will do me well to break your gel cast. Pour some oil in your hands and just pat pat pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat, pat pat, just pat it on girl, pat pat pat, pat, pat pat, a lot of people say to me: you don't get shrinkage. I do you can see here that I do, however, the combat that I stretch my hair with the blow-dryer after my hands full lead ride. When I'm stretching my curls, I only focus on the mid to upper shaft and I leave my ends as curly as possible, because my hair at the ends they get straight, really quick, really really quick. This gentleman has a different hair types, Jeb more, like a 4c. Very coyly very tightly curled curl pattern. The way I do here her hair is very different. I have to take care of by her specifically detangling her hair issues, and this is the final look. Thank you guys for watching.
