Hi, ladies, this is crooked. You see if I can fix that. Okay hi, ladies, this is Josephine here from makeup divas and today's video is going to be a little bit different. I'M really really really really excited, because today's video is going to be all about hair. Now um, I have decided to do a brand new series on my channel because you know I wanted to change things up a little bit and I'm still going to be doing my makeup. Tutorials, I'm still going to be doing uh. You know makeup product reviews, but you know I wanted to do some hair videos and you know the reason why um I wanted to do hair videos is because I wanted to share with you, ladies tips and tricks on how to take care of natural hair. Now, if you're a black woman, these will definitely be beneficial, particularly if you are going natural or if you are considering going natural. I know that there are a lot of us that that are already natural, or that is basically like transitioning from relax or to natural, or if you're, even considering going natural. This video series is definitely for you, so um yeah. I have a lot of tips and tricks that I want to share with you. Ladies and um. You know um I've been natural, all my life, I've never really um. You know put any products on my hair, I'm giving you a little bit of a hair history. Here um, a lot of the products that I do use are natural. If they're, not natural, then they're organic have a lot of organic stuff in them. This is 100 %, my hair, okay, 100 % mine and um. You know it's natural and so um. That'S like a little bit of a hair history here, and so let me go ahead and get started on the first products that I'm gon na be sharing with you. I'M going to be sharing many products with you, but these are going to be the first products. Now, for this first video about hair I've decided to share with you Dominican, hair products. Now, why would I choose Dominican hair products? I think Dominican hair products are like a godsend to black women's hair, because you know the Dominicans they have hair. Like us. You know their hair is really curly, really tight, curls and so a lot of the products that they use. We can actually use on our own hair and I'm going to be sharing with you. Why? I think the making hair products are really good. Number one is um: Dominican, hair products have natural ingredients in them. Okay number two: they have like a heat, protectant agents in them, which means that they have a lot of stuff in them that protect your hair against. You know blow drying flat, ironing or hot comb, and you know for those of you who are not really familiar with the Dominican blowout. A lot of these products are used for Dominican blowouts, but necessarily you don't really have to use these products. If you're mean you can still use these products, if you do not do a Dominican blowout, that means that if you do twist or if you just leave your hair natural like a wash and go, you could still use these products. Okay, they're really really good, and they also help your hair to grow, and you know they have nutrients for your hair and also you know it makes your you look healthy. So the two armed products that I'm going to be sharing with you that I have used that are Dominican, hair products is the classic pelo and the silicone makes bamboo and if you can see it, here's the crazy pelo and here's the silicon mixed bamboo. Now I really like this one more than this one, I'm going to explain to you why later, but let me go ahead and get started with the crazy pelo. I'Ve discovered this I think about a year ago, and I bought the whole thing. I bought the shampoo, the rinsed this conditioner and in the leaving conditioner and the first time I've tried it. I'M telling you I felt like I was like eating like a good piece of chocolate cake. It was really really really good for my hair. Okay, it left my hair really really soft, really manageable and um. It was just amazing. On my hair I mean my hair was really really moist, it didn't tangle and um. Even when I, when I blew dry, my hair, my hair still feels soft. Even when I hot comb, my hair, it still felt soft and I even went further in and I did a flat iron, my hair, my hair still felt soft and it lasted. The softness lasted for a very long time, the consistency of the casing - pelo, oh, and by the way Chris, a pelo means in Spanish to grow hair. So this is really really good if you're trying to grow your hair, anyways um. The consistency of this is like Greek yogurt. I guess yeah, it's really really thick, it's like Greek yogurt and it smells wonderful. I mean it smells like really perfume me now for those of you who do not like the perfume smell. Maybe this is not going to be for you, because the perfume smell will stay in your hair. It will linger in your hair for a long long time, but I don't mind the perfume smell. In fact, I think it smells really good and um. This has natural ingredients in them. Of course, not everything is natural, but it does have some natural ingredients in it. It also have um. Let me see lemon pine, rosemary, watercress, ivy, milk of cotton and there's plenty of other ingredients in here. That is really really good. For your hair and on what I do is, after I'm finished, washing my hair and conditioning my hair and rinse. I put this in my hair for about 15 minutes to 30 minutes and I put like a plastic cap over it, and then I rinse it out. After 1530 minutes and it'll leave your hair, soft and manageable. Now this one is the leave-in conditioner. It has the same ingredients as the rinse out conditioner, but the leave-in conditioner also have like a heat protectant on agent in it with me, which means that if you flat iron, your hair or if you blow dry, it Hakone. Whatever heat that you apply to your hair, it will protect your hair against heat damage and also against heat. So, basically it's a heat protectant and how they have it got heat protectant in it. Now you have to be careful with some of these Dominican hair products. A lot of them do have an expiration date like this one expires um, Oh 9/16, okay, so they do have an expiration date. Now, moving on to the bamboo silicone bamboo mix, our silicone mix bamboo, this is the conditioner, and this is the leaning now. The reason why I said I like this one, a little bit less well, the reason why I stack even talk. Oh my gosh. The reason why I say I like this one more than the silicone mix. Bamboo is because this one after I've finished using it. It didn't really leave my hair um, really soft. It conditioned my hair, it made my hair moist, but it didn't really leave my hair as soft as the crazy pillow, and this is also really good for hair growth um. It also has vitamin A EF and h. It got biotin in it, it also have um b5 and a horse chestnut extract too. So this is really really good. Now this is choice number one. So if I have to go to a beauty supply store, this will be choice, number one and then this is choice. Number two. So let's say they ran out of this one, and I would pick this one as my second one now um would I recommend this yeah. I would recommend it, but I would recommend this more because it leaves it left my hair, more soft and manageable. Now I didn't know this um new hair growth. When I was using the case a pillow, I only use the bamboo, I think once or twice, but with this one I've been using it for a year and I did nude. I did notice some hair-growth um. It'S really good now. Would I recommend these products if you, if you're relaxed, if you have relaxed hair, yes, I would um if your natural, I will definitely recommend it. If you have heat damage in your hair, if you have like split ends, I would definitely recommend these products. If you're trying to grow your hair or your hair is just damaged in this week, definitely get these products they're worth every penny, and you know they're not that expensive. Now, where can you get these? You can actually go to your local beauty supply store and get these in your local beauty supply store. Fortunately, um. The beauty supply store that I go to is actually owned by a Dominican guy, so he got like a ton of Dominican hair products at his store. But if you go to your local beauty, supply store, they happen not to have these. You can definitely order these online I'll go ahead and post the links down below where you can order these you can also, if you go to like a Caribbean supermarket or to a Latin supermarket, you can actually find these as well. If you go to the soap section, I think, like body soap and shampoo, section you'll find these products. Ok, ladies well, this is the review that I had for the crazy pillow in the silicone mix, again um. If you're kind of iffy about trying the Dominican hair products, I would say, go ahead, check them out, they're, very beneficial. You will notice the difference with your hair. You, your hair, will say. Thank you to you once you finish using them. They are wonderful. They are great, and again I just want to remind you - do not have to flat iron your hair or blow-dry your hair or any of that stuff in prefer to use these whether you do blow drying flat ironing natural relax, you can definitely use these. These are beneficial for all okay, ladies, so I'm going to go ahead and um do more reviews on products that I've used for my hair and I'm also going to be sharing some tips and tricks on how you can hear grow longer. I'M going to be doing more videos on that and again, if you have used any um, if you have used any Dominican hair products, which one is your favorite one in which one would you recommend? How do you like using them? What is your experience with Dominican hair products? Have you tried these? What do you like about them? What do you hate about them? I would love to see your comments. I'Ll definitely like to see your comments down below in the comment section and again, I'm gon na go ahead and leave in the description box where you can get these products okay, ladies, so until next time bye, bye, god bless and thank you for watching bye, bye. God bless

Ftn Rhee: im Puerto rican and my best friend is dominican but we have "black ppl hair" thats because dominican and Puerto Rican are practically black ppl that speak spanish just wanted to make that clear to everyone (there are different kind of dominican and Puerto Ricans like some have straight hair but most have curly)

loveangelprinces1: Thank You for your review on "Crece Pelo" I bought it yesterday at the Dominican beauty store and also the drops to put on it after I took the "Crece Pelo conditioner off. It also help with the hair grow. I started using it today and after taking my rollers out and styling it  feels like silk. Love your video!

Indira Rodriguez: Reading these comments annoyed me a bit since I am Dominican. I hate how people speak in general about a race lol like you cannot be more close-minded than that! Anyways, I've always felt like I'm black deep inside idk if its because I was raised in the Bronx, but whatever I love it! I big chopped recently and have been exploring these natural hair videos ever since, just like many other Dominican girls do and black girls. We are alike in so many ways, people are just too shallow to realize :)

NUYORICAN 1980: They didn't mention MicMas Remix scalp treatment! That product is LIFE for my hair and has gotten it so healthy and growing better, too.

Terry Stinson: Hi Josephine ! Can this shampoo be used on relaxed hair ? I read a review from someone on Amazon saying it messed up with her relaxer. Thanks in advance

CJ12: Yes! I've been natural for 2 years after putting heat & color in my hair. After I cut it I did not put heat & only used natural products. Smh what a waste none of that ish moisturizes my hair & my hair much more manageable with the use of heat.  I used Toque de Magico's Emergencia 911 yesterday & my hair finally feels soft again. I'm going right back to blow outs & DC's bi weekly I'll just stay away from color

Beth Monsanto: hello great review thanks ! Ive never tried the Crece pelo so im wanting to now :) I do have the silicon bamboo and i love it it makes my hair so soft maybe bcuz i mix it with the Kanechom conditioner and olive oil everytime i use it I leave it for a hour and when i rinse it out i let my hair air dry and no products i comb through with ease literally no hair comes out !!! You should try mixing it with any oil and the Kanechom deep conditioners trust !!

Lena Hernandez: I am Boricua and of course have a mixture of hair, however I live in the states and think that I can do anything to my hair and not suffer the consequences, so I am going to try this product and wish for the best!! GeoAngel: I'm interested in this. My daughter is half dominican. she has the tight curls. In the front its white hair texture and in the back its rough and frizzy. I have to do her hair everyday otherwise the tangles get worse. What I usually do is spritz it with water and organic kids detangler and "pick" so to speak with my fingers until the tangles are out and the curls form naturally. She is only two so I feel bad . It hurts her head to have to detangle everything. I'm just wondering if anyone has any alternative ideas I can try? Im open to suggestions :). Shes only 2 , so I dont want to use anything with alot of chemicals. I've tried using coconut oil without much luck.

I also love the Baba de Caracol and there's another one called Suela y Canela (sole and Cinnamon) that is great for excessive shedding and smells like red hots candies that i also love....it has a tingly warming effect on your scalp. I think this week i am going to put in some orders for more Dominican products bc they provide my hair with so much more moisture than what i use and they are more affordable :)  Stay Blessed!

I observe that people from DR also low key from generational trauma denounce the African blood and only claim the Spanish side but in America people are proud of African roots.
